over $900 and get surprised she's going to jail in Niles Illinois officers responded to a local Target where a woman was accused of stealing over $900 worth of merchandise watch how the situation unfolds when lawn arrives hello are you just you have your ID okay so now what going to be Char you told me you weren't yeah but then that's fact that you didn't have your ID I mean I gave you my ID I don't know if that's yours or not though it is hers I don't know that okay so and then either way this is close to like $900 you can't take my ID no cuz you're not the one that walked out with the stuff the only reason you're brought in here is because she was claiming that you're having like a panic attack so for your health and yeah and she was the one who was paying for it I didn't know if I had locked my debit card and she was the one who was paying for the merchandise I have no background no anything whatsoever so hi I don't hold on a second so what I had seen was she grabbed bags three bags off the sales for took out the inside the paper from inside bags started placing unpaid merchandise into his bags which was like toys Clothing dog stuff she Z up all three of the bags grabs the bags off of the cart puts them over her shoulder passes the registers passes the the towers I stopped her and I sto her inside the best and brought her back in here okay yeah the younger woman made an attempt to walk past all checkout counters with unpaid merchandise yet her aunt adamant claims they're innocent hear her side of the story as officers intervene have IDs do you have your ID ma'am she gave she said she does have have the guilty one okay well are you with her it's my niece okay she gave me but I mean I don't know he asked here today when all this was going on she told me that she so she was in to pay for the merchandise and then she said that her card was bro I C my yeah real anything else and I was in the back of the store so what's your name Trista Collins okay your date of birth we're going to check 2587 we're going to check your ID this is your actual you're not giving us a fake name cuz we're going to get a picture of it okay cuz this is your chance to give us your real name TR Collins is my name mhm double check go out the car see if front us can send you a picture of the both women insist they had plans to pay for the items though their statements quickly lose credibility under the officer's scrutiny all the thank you par of me I see I have your your ID he he already got it so what happened why did you open put things that were already open and put them in bags right why did why did you do that I don't know to make sure I could car I had no bags so but how come you didn't pay for that stuff and then put it inside she was meeting her in front she goes meet me in front and then she's going to pay for it and I didn't know I couldn't pass the towers and then he was like well you pass the towers so it's like stealing you come with me he's like it's not a big deal he's like we're not Prosecuting you or anything I just need you to sign something or whatever to Take 5 to 10 minutes and you'll be out the door I said okay I said my aunt was going to pay for the merchandise but then knew that her card ended up becoming Frozen so she couldn't pay for the merchandise I didn't even know that so she paid for this and then that and then her C was frozen okay well we and I I was at the back of the store but no it's fine just I have no background I'm good I've never done this life it's fine I'm never and he said like I wouldn't even be prosecuted so I $950 how much $950 so she paid for some but then put in more stuff that she going to pay in the bags and walk past the register in the uh security Towers okay wait it's a woman or a man it's a woman September 6th officers in New Jersey were dispatched to the Target on Route 35 in response to a shoplifting in progress upon their arrival the store's lost prevention officer promptly briefed them on the situation she goes to check out she scans some stuff hit pay and then scans the or Miss scans the expensive stuff cuz when you hit pay and try to scan it just oops it was scan she's keeps scanning a lock in there go was on the seat police identify the suspect as 19-year-old Juliana and it seems that it's not her first time being caught for shoplifting that was on and I did see that anything
