matching the suspect's description an eyewitness confirmed she was the individual in question and officers wasted no time in confronting her ask what's going on tonight nothing okay so why are we out the general manager's statement regarding the elderly woman please tell me what happened um yeah go ahead so I believe the date was August the 2nd I was uh doing some training at the front office of the hotel with my front Des team um when this guest came up to check in to be candid I don't remember her name right off the bat right now um but she came to check in I remember that she had a reservation from the 2nd through the 5th so she had a three night reservation um at that time as part of the check-in process is customary to verify the checkin and check out date how many nights are staying um and all that so when I was doing that she pointed out that it wasn't a three nights day supposed to be a fortn nights day so I advised her since it was booked through price line which is a prepaid service I wasn't allowed to change the number of nights because that would generate an additional night charge back to Price Line which I can't authorize so the guest has to call Price Line and sort out whatever discrepancies are there with the reservation um at that point she said that that wasn't her problem but that was our problem that I need deal with it and that she wasn't leaving till Sunday um I told her that that's not how things work that I'll be happy to check her in for the three nights day that she's booked for and after she's checked in she can call the price line from her room she could sort out this additional night day and then um we could process you know that additional night day so she could stay the four nights that she needs to uh at that point she again said that no that's not her problem and she started using some curse words um F this and f that and F you I told her that unfortunately that's not language or behavior that we could accept at the property and I would go ahead and accept the three f-words that she said but if she continued with more FWS that I would not be able to check her in and she would need to find another place to stay the woman attempted to check into a Double Tree Hotel using a thirdparty app but granting her a free night as she demanded was simply not an option at such a high-end establishment especially since the error was not the hotel's fault she continued with F words she continued to curse and yell so I canceled the reservation in our system and I told her that at this point she does not have a reservation anymore she's not authorized to be on property and we asked her to please leave um she didn't listen she started raising her voice yelling and screaming and making a pretty much a big stink and scene in our lobby uh we tried to ask her to leave we told her to police call Price Line uh she didn't listen she continued to curse and scream at that point I called u a local PD for L police department and asked for assistance and uh removing the guest from the property U when for the police came um the guest seemed to continue to argue with me she tried to approach me on several occasions I try to back away obviously speaking with the officers when she was doing this and um I don't recall it exactly one moment but at one moment she slapped the officer seems uh obviously that's not you know appropriate and at that point I did see that she was arrested now let's check back in on the woman as she's transported to the station wanted to call Disney and straighten it out that's all I was trying to do you think you're happy that you're do this there come on last time 1 2 3 are you happy you're arresting [ __ ] old lady I'm not happy if you hadn't hit me and just listen
