these shoplifters thought they could Waltz out of Target without paying but the cops were ready to give them a reality check here are five instances when entitled Target shoplifters get humbled by cops number five shoplifter regrets her actions too late police were dispatched to a local Target in response to a reported female shoplifter when officers arrived she was already departing in a white Honda attempting to escape watch how the arrest unfolds and Honda Charles David Henry 7670 is Northbound on 104 and 41 I'm not seeing it at on the bed hey Dave what check I got out to the Ben relatively quick it seemed like it was picking up speed it probably turned on uh I'm just heading back to Target now but I think it went over my Home Depot eastbound probably headed down the corridor now okay I was coming off 260 I didn't see it but I'll check6 starting early today huh oh yeah so I got my body camera recording um where they get um you seen them before yeah I've seen her before I um apprehended her or I tried to just like two days ago and she gave up the vacuums that she was trying to steal yeah we have other known tfts on her and she's also on the with Cornelius Martin do you know who she is I we don't know her name though okay you have a photo over her yeah pick it pH yeah let me see if I can um I know corers Martin I think I've seen her before it's just can I find a name to it so give me a little bit of time if not dude just keep your track and and then you have all your cases once we get them we'll hit her with all I'll you back if I see her too cuz she's been more active every CU my boss just was in court this morning so now he's got her back um yeah officers soon spot the white Honda nearby matching the description given they quickly position themselves to intercept and bring the situation under control all righty well which is supposed to be the female on the passing stre lower your window put it down all the way put your hands out on the dash me yes Target for life if you go back there ever again there's a potential my kid is at home please I'm I promise I won't go back I got kids at we can go over there and check on them who's with your kids insisting she's unwell becoming increasingly frantic as the reality of her arrest begins to sink in listen what I can't go home well hear me out shoplifting is not the crime of the Cy right but at the report from Target's loss prevention team about an active shoplifting incident upon arrival they spot two female suspects loading stolen merchandise into their car in the parking lot see how the appreciate how how straight forward straight upfront and honest you've been and calm we appreciate that I don't appreciate that um how she was acting but um just if you maintain that throughout this entire process that's going to be much better for you than it's going to be for her she's going to she she's going to have problems okay however her cooperation doesn't change the fact that she's caught stealing can I ask you a question yeah what's up is it a way that the stuff is just still here like can they just get it back like getting in trouble something like that no there the stuff was stolen and and and again the fact that she um I didn't see the whole thing but she definitely was pulling away from the officer and causing a little bit of a problem so we that's got to get addressed as well but the bottom line is you guys um whoever takes the majority of the responsibility I don't know yet but the bottom line is you knew she was stealing yeah and you guys were together I'm sure the video is going to show you both putting stuff in the shopping cart yes right so you both are going to have some responsibility but again the level of that responsibility is still up the year um depends on if you've eat how many times you've been if you've been arrested before for retail stuff that matters um I hav we can get into that later um the level of your Coop you know the level of your cooperation that matters as well States attorneys are are they're looking for reasons to um I don't want to say give people breaks because everyone's going to be held responsible to some extent but um the level of which you're being is is going to depend a lot a lot on you and and um how you react to the situation the rest of the night does that make sense okay returning to the first suspect the officer attempts another round of questioning but she remains as combative as ever so I understand what do you want you remain me that's I look like I think that we all got off to a little bit of a bad start I don't like it when I see somebody looked to me like you were struggling and resisting with one of my officers and I'm G be completely honest I'm already caught I can't be no blunt than I her belongings later investigation revealed that the stolen merchandise they got from the store totaled over $1,000 I'm going be upset if your colleagues take that I worked hard for I really am I don't have an issue with saying what was took and what was not understand I totally get that it's a lot of on it that were was not stolen I transported it as you can see can't you see clothes in a big you have to understand I have clothes in the tote I have clothes that were shoes boxes of shoes that I paid for I get it literally this stuff was not stolen okay understand I'm not out there that's months both suspects were charged with retail theft the pregnant woman however was also charged with resisting arrest number three woman pretends to be a 13-year-old to escape arrest police were called to a local Target after loss prevention officer spotted a woman bypassing items at self-checkout let's take a look at the store surveillance footage capturing her in action e officers arrived just in time to intercept the suspect Danielle sedillo before she can make a clean getaway they approach as she Wheels out a cart loaded with items some paid for others stolen yeah I mean you have an issue with the scanning machine no I I had I went to the regular register and she scaned me out with the regular register okay I didn't have an issue she fixed it for me who'd you come with why does that matter because there's two of you guys that's why yeah cuz she came and brought me the rest of the money yeah so who'd you come with that way we she brought me the rest of the money do you want to come talk to the lady that checked me out no I want you to answer my question let's go talk to the lady that checked me out please cuz I didn't we'll get there I just literally had to go to the second register and she helped me with the second register who would you come with like the person helped me at the regular register we get there you why does that matter because you need to answer my question so she it's my friend she has to go to her kids today it's her kids's birthday today that's the reason why I came here do you want can we come talk to the register cuz she's literally just helped me through the register and I don't see what the problem is all right so you can walk through this officer we're going to go back in the store I'm going to grab your shopping cart cool what go
