Really? Okay, that's fine. And I will no problem. >> You want me to do arrest you? >> Yeah. >> Why? I didn't do anything. >> Is it? It's criminal that you're not arresting him right now after I >> think we'll do an investigation. >> Oh, I don't know. >> She's not uh she's not really playing by the rules right now. So, >> I'm not doing anything. I called you because he's selling to my >> He wants you to leave the property now. But you're supposed to come talk to me because it's >> I'm talking to you. >> I told you what you need to do. >> Call State Liquor. Give them a tip. >> You're supposed to call State Liquor. You're the cops. >> I don't even know what that is. >> He slipped me for what? I didn't do anything. >> Ma'am, do you want to leave the property or do you want to go to jail? >> For what? For what? >> Because we're telling you you need to leave. So now you're criminally trespassing. >> Why am I I can't buy something. >> Okay. And they want you to leave, which is their right. They can refuse service to you. >> No, but he did something wrong. What did I do? I called you. We want you to leave. >> I called you. >> Ma'am, are you going to leave? >> I called you to help me. And he's trying. He tried to >> The woman can't back up her claims to the store owner. And as her hostility toward officers escalates, an arrest becomes inevitable, but not for the reason she expected. >> He tried to hit me. And you're not doing anything about it, huh? Don't >> Yeah, we're going to send you to jail if you don't leave the property. That's what we're going to do. >> So, you're going to leave the property or we have to send you to jail? >> Huh? >> I didn't do anything wrong. Are you trying to get by? >> No, they are. I'm not doing anything right. Help me. I just came to stop. Help me. Help me. Help. >> It's clear the woman won't leave without making a scene. And with her combative behavior, officers aren't taking chances. If she keeps resisting, she'll end up in the rap. >> Help. Help. Help. I didn't do anything wrong. >> That No, that's a that's a wrap. We're going to put you in a wrap. >> Why are you going to put me in a wrap? >> Cuz you're not going in the car. >> I'm not complying cuz I didn't do anything. I was at the store and he sold to a minor. >> Oh my god. I called you for help. >> You want to go in that? >> Oh man. >> Oh, Taylor, you're fine. >> I am. Yes. Tate, it's going to hurt a little bit. >> She's talking to herself. Let's just put her in. >> What am I doing? >> I'm not doing nothing wrong. I came to shop at the store. >> Okay. Listen. >> Listen. What? >> Last chance. >> Last chance. >> Get in the car. We're putting you in the wrap >> for what? I didn't >> Because you are under arrest. >> Trespass. >> Huh? >> We explained this to you. We gave you multiple lawful commands to leave the property. You did not. >> They are. Yes, they are. >> But I didn't do these things. >> Okay. >> And you're going to still wrap me up? >> Yep. >> Yeah. >> For not doing anything >> because you're being noncompat. >> Will you sit in the back seat? Oh, and you just showed the cops how racist they really are. Cuz I didn't do anything. I called you guys for help, bae. Oh, they are scared. Yes, they are. Oh, they'll probably soon probably cuz they about to go to jail anyway. Oh, they about to go to Oh, they going to bum the white devil. That's why they don't hear me screaming. No, they don't. Ah. That's even better cuz then we did. Oh. Oh, we did make him tighter on purpose. Ah, that makes you look worse. Oh, cuz I didn't do Oh god. We got to go. Yes, you do. >> We got to get her in mental health court. I think it's not going to summon her. Yeah, I think so. >> Do you know her name? >> I I >> got to look it up. >> I got to remember what day I was there last week. >> So, when you guys got what she doing there standing there, she's angry that she says they're selling electric. The officers are already familiar with a woman from previous calls and from what they're seeing now, it appears she might be going through another mental health episode that needs to be addressed. >> Got called for twice last week. First time she was having a full-on conversation with herself in a car window. I just let it go. Um and then we got called the second time cuz she was screaming out her window for like an hour. She was just screaming bloody murder like this. So, we went up, we went in the apartment, nineyear-old sons in there. >> Yeah. And uh we ended up pinking and little six and the kid. >> Oh, what is this? My powers. I can make people listen too. >> You can. Oh, yes. That's what we be doing. We are in them too as well. Cuz God is in everybody, you idiots. Oh, no. I didn't [Music] give no cuz you got me in this hot and you can't breathe in this. Oh, that's what you're trying to do. Oh, yeah. No, not him. Cuz he hates us. Yes, he does. And he's happy about it. Yes, he is. But I didn't do anything. And they know that. They're so confused and say, "Yes, don't be scared. It is scary. I understand." But they're not. And I can't take you out to your sleep. Yeah. No, I can't. I was. That's why you couldn't cuz I was up. Exactly. But I was up the whole time and you kept turning your Yeah, but I just got to shut my eyes. >> Right. Exactly. I don't have to go to sleep. No, you really know the hospital. Yeah, I was in and out at the hospital. Yeah. >> At this point, officers aren't just worried about the woman. They're also concerned for her 8-year-old son, likely waiting at home with no idea his mother is being taken to the station again. But the other day I was up and you were ah and I was faking sleep. You were. And you took me out. Yes, I did. I can't do it. Exactly. Stop not believing it. Cuz you're scared, too, aren't you? I really am. Cuz you think they're going to hit me. I do. Oh, they really are. Yes, cuz I didn't do any. And they're not looking normal. They don't know who I am. Exact. And they're like, "Who is this innocent?" And she has no wreck. Oh, you good? You knew? Oh, so they told her, "Don't do it." But actually, I think it was. That's why that your taxes were so low. She knows I did do that. They are. They want me to run. Yes. As soon as I get out the car, he's going to try to get me. Yes, he is. Oh, this is how you get in. It may pick up in return. Okay. They going to try to He's bringing out his gun. No, he's not. He's putting it away cuz he has to cuz you bring out the gun and you shoot an innocent black girl that did nothing. You guys are Oh, man. We're trying to fix it. They're so confused. Oh, man. We can't. No, please. But we can't. You have to. You got to make them shoot themselves. We can do that. And you're still having fun. And you're not with an innocent. >> Just like earlier, she starts speaking normally again, as if nothing happened. But it doesn't last. After a few moments, she slips right back into the same strange behavior. >> But don't do it in front of Taylor. It's too graphic. Make sure he goes in. But what about the cuffs? Uh, >> bae. Yes, I can. >> I don't know what the dispatcher said, but you were advised to leave several times. You refused to leave the property. >> I didn't leave cuz you guys are the ones that told me to wait. I called you. >> So, it's all for court. >> It's all for court. >> Yep. Court right here. >> I'm not trying to. I'm just letting you know what happened. >> Yeah, I was there. It was all >> Yeah, it was, wasn't it? In the end, the woman was charged with criminal trespass and obstruction. Number one, mother couldn't handle her neighbor reprimanding her kids, so she escalated the situation to an arrest. Our final case takes us to a Florida residence where a senior citizen called the police claiming her neighbor had harassed and assaulted her. Yeah, there you go. >> Yeah, it took place right there where you can see the shells. She knocked me right on my >> run back down. >> What constituted this fight? >> Well, >> it couldn't have been just a random act of just violence. >> It was it what happened is um I saw these two boys on the property. I was just coming to my front door and >> they were like right here or something >> and they were they grabbed shells and honestly I figured it would just I was you know I said to her it's no big deal. it's over with, but you know, they shouldn't be on my property taking shelves. She says, "Well, they didn't take shelves." She was very hostile. Then she got this close to me. And I just pushed her away and that was it. She knocked me right on my kept saying, "They're kids. They don't they're 10 years old, but they're not little. They're pretty goodized kids." But the kids didn't they left laughing like, you know, "F you." And that was it. It But the mother took it like, "Oh my god. [Music] After learning what happened to the elderly woman, the officer now wants to hear the other suspect's side of the story. Listen to what she has to say. >> Hey, Elizabeth, come on out and talk to me. >> Yeah, I need to talk to you. >> Okay. We were I was just fixing a call because >> same thing with the subject. >> I actually need my kids to step out cuz this involves my children. She was screaming and racially racial racial profiling my child. She called him the n-word. So that's what my son called me on the phone cuz they were shooting their Nerf gun. He's 10. >> Yeah. >> And she he shot the Nerf gun in her yard. She came out. She was screaming at him. Told him that she, you know, just obviously horrible things cuz he called me horribly upset. So I go down to confront her. I'm like, "Hey, you can't talk to children like that." And she's like, "I'll talk to anybody any kind of way I want." And I'm like, "No, you really cannot talk to children, especially this one right here, >> my child." And I when when she stepped up and like like put like pushed me really hard and hit me in my face, which caused us to have an altercation. >> Like I just had back surgery. I I just I obviously didn't go in a fight cuz I'm in a dress in high heels and I just went down there to defend my child. Okay. All right. So, that was a spontaneous statement, but I'm going to read you your Miranda warning. Okay. Not saying you're going to jail, but I have to read you your Miranda rights because there are allegations against you that you >> I have witnesses. Can you >> But I have to read you your Miranda warnings. I have to ask you more specific question. I know you just All right. So, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against Portal Law. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him or her present with you while you're being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, won't be appointed to represent you. You can decide at any time to exercise these rights, not answer any of my questions or statements. Do you understand each of these rights I've explained to you, Elizabeth? >> Yes, sir. >> Having these rights in mind, do you wish to continue to talk to me and answer specific questions about why we're here? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, obviously you and I got into a fight, right? You're saying she pushed you and then that that's >> No, she hit me in my face and pushed me. Uh-huh. >> According to the elderly woman, the trouble began when two children started picking seashells from her lawn. She tried to get them to leave, which led to a dispute with their mother, ending with a mother striking her. The accused, however, gives a completely different account. >> We were we were like a little close, more closer than you and I. >> So, walk me to to the beginning. Okay. Your kids were possibly picking up seashells or supposedly or something. >> What happened? I don't want to put words in your mouth. So, you tell me from the beginning. My son told me that that's what she accused him of. And he said, "No, ma'am. >> That's not what we were doing. My bullet from my Nerf gun fell into your yard. They picked it up and tried to show her and she was still okay." >> Cursing at them. >> Okay. >> I can see that they were playing around. >> Racial profiling. Yes. And that's my son's biracial. So >> racial profiling. >> Yeah. She followed him the nword several times. >> Okay. >> So that's what got my son. He's 10 >> from a distance though, right? She never actually went up to your kids. >> No. Yeah. It was Yeah, it was >> like from the threshold of her doorway and like >> in the driveway where they where it was. That's where she came up to them at. >> Okay. >> At the street. He wasn't in her actual yard is what he's what he's saying. And I believe him. So, >> Right. Right. Okay. And then what happened? >> I came up and I knocked on her door because I wanted to talk to her cuz obviously I wanted to see what was going on. And >> uh she wasn't at her door so she was in the garage so she was coming out. So I went from her front porch back to the garage door which is where she met me which is where we were having the conversation. >> Okay. >> And that's where I was said ma'am you those two children right there and she said that they were stealing shells and I said no ma'am. She said that they had a gun and I said ma'am it was a toy gun like it's a Nerf gun. She said how am I supposed to know? And I'm like they showed you the void. >> Okay. >> And >> at any point um do you remember her trying to like leave or walk past you? No, she never she w she was she was walking past me and she also pushed me out of her way to walk past me. >> Okay, so you don't remember uh cuz this whole thing was captured on video. >> Okay. >> The officers allow the woman to give her side of the story and listen carefully. What she doesn't realize is that they've already reviewed the security footage showing exactly how the incident unfolded. >> So from the video they showing opposite of what you're telling me. From the video, I see her coming out talking to you in the driveway. You're clearly upset talking to her or whatever a conversation. I get it. Um, but in the video, it shows her trying to go past you like this and you blocking her route of exit. >> That is that not blocking her of exit. That's when she says she could talk to anybody anyway she wanted. And I said, "Not my child." That's when I just stepped in and said, "But not my child." >> Okay. But what I'm saying is if we're talking like this, >> that's all she also put. That's all that that's exactly what happened. I didn't. >> So when she tried to walk away from you, why'd you step in front of her? >> Because she was saying that she could talk to anybody any way she wanted and he's 10 years old and I just not any child. You just can't talk to children any kind of way. It's just not acceptable. >> Morally wrong, right? But it's not against the law. Correct. As a mother, I can understand where you're coming from, right? But morally, is it wrong? Yeah. Yelling at my child, biracial, you know, statements and stuff like that, right? I can understand you're upset. Okay. But when you guys finish that, you know, are going back and forth with each other. She tries to leave or diffuse the situation from walking past you to the right. >> You take a step to the left. >> Comment as weird things. I didn't touch her. I just stepped towards her didn't deserve me getting hit in the face or pushed. >> So basically here, this is what it is. When someone tries to if we're arguing back and forth like you and her were, you guys weren't pushing each other at that point. When she tries to leave like this and you step in her way, you're blocking her path of exit. >> By law, she has the right to push you out of her way. Now, >> even if she still has exit lane property, >> she's on her property. >> Okay, so that's a little education for you. >> The officer makes it clear that the woman was wrong in how she treated the elderly neighbor. She may still have plenty to say, but the decision on how this call ends has already been made. She's being rude and saying rude things. >> Ma'am, being rude is not >> I'm saying I can see if I completely like blocked her in and like caved her in. >> Well, you guys were literally right by the garage. >> Stepped and was like, "But not my child." >> Right. But this is this is >> put my body. >> This is the garage from the video right here. Right. >> I didn't block her in like if you can see she had she still had room. >> Are there any other are there any other adults or anything? Yes. >> Okay. Just how many kids are here? >> Can you get other people's you be placed under? Can I put my shoes on? >> Yeah, we'll get your shoes number two. >> Let's get that. So, right now, >> can you I just had surgery on my back. Can you please sit in the front? >> No, I can't do that, too. Cuz from the video, it don't look like your surgery had anything to do with it. >> So, put your hands on. >> Can I please let someone know what's going on? >> We'll get out of the doorway. Let's get out of my shoes on. >> We'll get your shoes. We'll get your shoes. We'll knock on the door. We'll explain it to the other adult in there. >> Oh my god. >> 651 adult in custody. So, lift your hands up so I can double lock them for you. I'll hold my throat. Want to step over here? Just It's okay. It's okay. So, right now, you're being placed under arrest for battery on an elderly person 65 years or older, which is a felony. >> Okay. >> Oh my gosh. >> All right. She had plenty of room to still go. She did. Okay. >> She did. This is wrong. >> No, ma'am. It's not. What you did was wrong. You're going over there to talk to her is one thing, but you can't block somebody's uh path of exit when they try to leave from the front door. >> I didn't block it. She was not blocked. >> You'll have your day in court to discuss it with the lawyer or something like that and they'll play the video in court cuz it's going to be evidence. God. >> So, actually, you know what? Step out for me. Let's take uh photos of her. Okay. Do you want an ambulance to come check you out? No. >> Before heading to the station, officers document the woman's injuries from the earlier scuffle. As for her side of the story, that will be for the court to hear. >> Step all the way out for me, man. I'm sorry. >> I'll take cuz I already got my phone. >> So, she's got some uh I'm going just raise your Is it your right knee? Okay. So, injury right there. That looks like that's from the ground when you threw her on the ground. >> Yeah. And then get her arms and her toes. >> And you battered her pretty good. >> She fell, which is like battered. >> Okay. >> Get scratches on your arms. >> We get a good picture of her face and her arms. >> I don't have nothing on my hand. >> Just get this, which is what happened. >> Okay. >> You don't have any? >> No. >> Okay. You ever been uh Just going to take a picture of your face. special. >> Do you know your uh >> Can you go get Miss Emily? >> You're social. >> Hi, ma'am. >> I'm having them call your mom and Grace. >> Yeah. Yeah. Take your time. >> I don't >> I'm just her friend. >> Okay. So, >> but they know me. >> Hey, Cherry. Ask her if it's okay if the kids are with her friend. >> Does the kid It's okay for your kids to be with your friend. >> Yeah. >> Okay. She says yes. >> In the end, the woman was charged with battery on a person 65 years of age or older. What's your verdict? Let me know in the comments, and I'll see you in the next video. As always, stay safe out there, folks.
