When rules don't go their way, these Karens break them in the worst ways possible. Here are five cases when cops have to deal with super entitled Kairens. Number five, entitled woman thinks she knows the law better than the police. Our first case takes us to Florida where an officer spotted a vehicle flagged with a seize tag order. With that, the officer immediately moved in to conduct a traffic stop. Here's the confrontation that followed. Can you roll this back window down for me, please? >> I'm sorry. Why am I pulled over? >> Can you roll this back window down for me? I can come up there. >> You to tell me why you pulled me over. >> I can barely hear you back here. >> Would you tell me why you pulled me over first, please? Why? Why am I over? >> I'm sorry. A little bit louder. >> Oh, sorry. Don't hang. >> Okay, if you roll your window down, I can come up there and chat with you. >> Why am I pulled over, ma'am? >> I'm sorry. >> Why am I pulled over? >> Okay, I'm stopping you because this vehicle contains a cease tag order. Okay. Is this your vehicle? >> It's my son. A what order? >> Seize the tag. Do you have your ID on you? >> Why is there a seize tag order? >> I don't know. I have to run a bunch of things. Okay. Is it your vehicle or is it registered to you? >> No. >> Okay. Do you have the registration and insurance? >> I'm sure it's in here, but there >> What's that? I said, "I'm sure it's in here, but I don't know where. This is not my vehicle." >> Okay, I'll let you, ma'am. >> I'll let you look for it. Okay, you find it, hold your hand out the window for me. I'll come back up and get it. Okay, >> good check. >> Well, I need the record. >> All right, ma'am. >> All right, I have your ID here. Okay, so I did set you for not having insurance on the vehicle. Okay, >> it's not my vehicle. I know, but you're in possession of it. You're driving it. So, whoever is driving it is responsible at the time they're driving it. >> Since when? >> Since always. Okay. You're taking possession of the vehicle. You're driving it right now. Okay. You're responsible. >> I just want my ID. I'm not taking that ticket. I'm not responsible for something I didn't know was going on with the insurance. >> Okay. So, it's your responsibility to know when you're driving a vehicle. Okay. >> No, it's not. No, it's not. I have insurance. >> Okay. This vehicle does not have insurance. Okay. And you are driving it. You're the operator. >> I'll take my license. >> Everything is in this. >> I will take my license. >> Keep the ticket. Can I >> With no signs of compliance from the driver, the officer requests support while continuing to talk her through what's happening. In the meantime, the officer keeps trying to reason with her, but the back and forth goes nowhere fast. >> Keep to take it. >> So, your driver's license is inside. >> Okay. Yeah, the ones down the street from the house. I'll take my license. >> Okay. So, by taking the citation, it's not an admission of guilt. Okay. >> Taking that. >> It has everything explained on there. >> I don't want >> And you don't have to. >> I don't want to take my license. >> Are you going to listen to be mailed to me? No, I'm I'm actually done with the convers. I just want my license. >> Okay. Okay. So, I can't not give you the citation. Okay. That would be me failing to provide you the information. Okay. >> So, what do you want to keep license? >> No, I don't need to keep your license. >> I'm not taking it. >> So, everything's in here. Okay. >> What' you say? >> Huh? No, cuz she's trying to give me a citation and talking about because I didn't uh because there's no insurance on the car. He can come, but how far is he? This is some >> So, by him showing up, that doesn't do anything. The vehicle needs insurance. >> Insurance >> in the system. It says it does not have insurance. >> No, because you No. If that man has the proof and something's wrong or glitched in your system because there are >> You understand that's the state of Florida, right? They're on their way here. I don't listen. Things can happen in the computer system. >> No, I totally agree. >> Yeah, things can happen in the computer. >> If this man has proof that there is actual insurance on this car and y'all system haven't catched up caught up, excuse me. I'd like to wait before I take that that whole envelope cuz I'm not good. >> Um, so my son who owns the vehicle is on the way. The vehicle doesn't have insurance, so I said for insurance. Despite officers explaining that the car isn't insured, the woman tunes them out, choosing instead to follow advice from her family on the phone and dig in her heels. >> He said, uh, it's not hers, so she's not responsible. She will not take the citation. Um, she says her son's on the way. I don't know for what reason. Um, she thinks he can provide insurance, but >> Is there a seiz tag on it? >> Yes, but it's under his name. >> Okay. So, she has to get out of the car. We're going to do the impound the whole 9 yards. >> Sounds good. >> I don't think she'll get out. >> Okay. >> Well, she's going to have to, unfortunately. >> Hey, ma'am. >> Ma'am, >> ma'am, may I have you step out of the vehicle, please? My corporal's here. He can also explain it to you if you'd like. >> I don't want to step out of the vehicle. >> All right. Well, you have to step out of the vehicle. Okay. >> Not. >> You do. >> You have to get out of the vehicle, please. >> Go ahead and start recording. >> Sure. We're recording on our body cams as well. >> Now, why do I have to get out of the car and show me in writing? Why? >> We don't need to show you in writing. Okay. >> So, how here's the deal. We're going to seize the vehicle if you're not willing to be cooperative. This could have been a simple citation. >> TripleA. >> Can you pinch this car in from the rear? I'm going to get the front. >> Okay. take the tag and wait for me to geta and we'll get it right to our house right around the corner cuz I know you see the address and we can do it that way. I'm not taking my son's vehicle. >> Okay, so here's the deal. You don't get the say in how this works. Okay, >> cool. >> Because you're making this difficult now. I'm going to seize the vehicle. >> Difficult. This is not my car. Now you're giving me a citation for something that I'm not responsible for. that he didn't even know about. I'm not making it difficult. You guys act like everybody's supposed to be sunshiny happy. First of all, when you first approach the car, you're telling me to roll the window down like you can't walk over here and speak to me like I'm a person. >> With her vehicle now boxed in, there's nowhere left to go. But instead of cooperating, the woman keeps arguing with the primary officer. >> You're good. >> Yeah. I asked you to roll the back window down because I couldn't see all the way through it. See what? What do you need to see? >> To see if there's anyone in the back seat. >> Why? >> I don't want to get shot. >> Sweetheart, if that's you, you should not be a police officer >> because it never happens. >> Somebody pull >> pull over and then just shoot you cuz you're walking up. I don't know what happens. I didn't take the oath. I don't know your job. >> Okay. >> I know that I'm a civilian. You can shoot me, too. >> I don't want to shoot you. >> Okay. So why would I want to shoot you? Why would anybody see it's broad daylight? You can see clear through this car >> with the windows up. It's difficult. >> What What do you have >> that says this car has been involved in anything close to that? What do you mean? >> You looked up the tab right before you stopped me, before you pulled me. Did you see anything about this car being involved in any type of activity where somebody was in a back seat and tries to attack an officer >> or anything or any crime or any anything any any disorder police are you? You're recording on your phone, correct? I'm recording on I'm recording on my body camera. Okay. There's a cease tag order on this vehicle. >> All right. This vehicle does not have insurance. This vehicle is not her son and daughter is on their way. >> You are currently in this vehicle. >> Okay. >> They're not following. >> Take the tag and wait for me to get AAA to tow our vehicle back home which is less than 5 minutes away. It's in walking. >> Nope. This vehicle is going to be impounded. This vehicle doesn't have insurance. It cannot be on the roadway. It cannot have a tag. There's a cease tag order. >> Okay. So, right now, right, technically, you've committed a crime. Okay. You're committing obstruction. You're refusing to get out of the vehicle when asked to do so. It's a lawful order. It's an it's an order that you have to comply with. All right. I'm asking you nicely, please get out of the vehicle. All right. [Music] >> The woman's son arrives on the scene, but at this point, the officers have already reached their limit. They're moving forward with an arrest. >> Stay there. Yep. Just hang out over there, buddy. You're good. >> I'll come chat with you in a minute. >> So, drive record. Are you going hands on? >> Yeah. I'm going to put it in the cups. >> Okay. >> I just want my license. I'm not taking that envelope. >> Can I have my license, please? >> All right. You can stand up. Rod, face the car for me. Put everything on top. >> Drop it. >> We're going to tell you everything. >> Come get my stuff time. Okay. >> Come get my stuff. This is what happens. >> Stop >> in in Trump country. >> Hang over there, buddy. from over here right now. We'll tell you everything that's going on. >> 2041 105. >> Y'all kidding, right? >> Come get my license and uh stuff too. >> I could talk to my son. >> All right. Do you have anything on you going to poke me, stick me, cut me? Knives, needles, weapons of any sort. Bombs, ma'am. Okay. Spread your feet wider. There you go. All right, ma'am. Walk back this way. >> Will you unlock my doors, please? >> We're gonna walk on the other side of the park. >> Is it all right? >> Yep. This officer over here will explain everything to you in a second. I'm not the one in charge. Just give us a second. All right. >> Is the car going to be towed? >> It is. >> Okay. Understandable. >> So, it So, it has a cease tag order, I guess. Let's just get out of the [ __ ] I don't want to get hit by a car, buddy. A simple traffic stop could have ended with a warning or citation, but instead the woman was charged with resisting arrest. Number four, when you can't handle your liquor and the police end up handling you. On July 12th, 2024, officers were dispatched to a hotel where a woman was reportedly causing a scene by harassing staff and stirring chaos. What the authorities find when they arrive confirms the call. Go. So they're going to call the cops. >> If she gets mad, take her glass, wings the glass container, the wine glass down the stairs. At this point, it's a no. No. >> Is she even weapons or anything? >> No. No. Okay. >> We travel here for use in Texas. >> She pushes bartender and as I'm coming to her to get her information, she takes off her shoes and shows us down the line. >> And then she comes trying to convince me, can you call the cops? Can you just let her go to sleep to look at our warehouse? >> Huh? Any help with the lady? Oh, she found her. >> She is in the employee area naked trying screaming that somebody. >> Sir, stay here. >> What happened? >> Watch out cuz she threw that glass. and the stairs. >> They went downstairs, man. They went downstairs. >> I appreciate you. Thank you. >> Are you okay, man? >> Sheriff's office. Put your hands behind your back. You just you stand up. >> Hold on. Get on this. >> Now you got yourself a felony. You're under arrest. >> Fabulous. >> I don't know what's going on. So, make sure you charge her >> battery and LEO. >> Get up. >> Getting her into cuffs was the easy part. Now, the officers have to deal with her during the walk to the patrol car. >> What's the quickest way out of here? To the front. >> Why are you so difficult right now? It's literally I'm a girl. You fight me more. I'm going take you to the ground. >> I'm not fighting. But >> you just punched me. So >> I haven't done my like um in front of everybody like I like it's lovely. >> Keep walking. >> You just don't pull. Relax. >> Sir, you just said >> Is there staring? No, that's fine. >> Sir, you just said >> So I said, >> you know how long she been like this? >> Stop. >> I've been up there the whole time. >> No, I'm just saying. >> I ain't serious. >> Did you guys see cops walking through here? >> Did you see police walking through here? What? >> What did I do to piss you off? >> Well, you punched us and you're breaking stuff. >> Who did I piss off? >> You just assaulted a law enforcement officer. >> Just when officers think the worst might be over, the woman's behavior spirals even further. What she does next takes things to a whole new level. >> Get in. >> Get in. [Applause] You want more? [Applause] [Music] >> Grab her. I'm going to hobble her. >> We're going to pull her legs in. Just stay right there. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Give me your leg. >> Hold it up. Just hold it. Make sure it sit on the floor. >> Step on you. You >> Okay. >> All right. Let me go on that side. Let me go on that side. >> Hey, watch her dress. Pull it down. >> Even with a woman's legs restrained to keep her from thrashing, it still takes multiple officers to secure in the back of the cruiser. >> All right. Legs first. >> Legs first. >> Yep. Go. >> You're going to regret this. >> 718. >> It's in there. It's in the car. >> Hey, you awake? They're awake. >> You >> all right? Uh, just a bunch of stuff. >> Oh, wow. >> He wasn't even near her when she went. >> We didn't Nobody has said that you're involved in this. I just can't tell you what happened. >> Can you be quiet? >> With the woman on her way to the station, other officers remain behind to figure out exactly what happened and just how much chaos the woman caused before their arrival. >> We're all sitting here in the circular big. So, there's probably about 20 people here. Okay. >> Yeah, I got one. She's kind of resisting, so we might have to pull her out the car. >> Okay, stand by there right now. Come get you. >> All right. >> You all right? >> All right. All right. >> You going to start screaming again? >> She got wild. They came and told her to shut up. She wouldn't shut up. She threw her glass. >> She went downstairs and nobody saw her after that. And then you guys came and done. Got it. Okay. >> Yeah, she does. You got it. >> What? >> Come on. Come outside. >> What does that mean? >> Come here. >> Uh, English. >> All right. Unpl. [Music] >> She she was okay until a point and then she just she very quickly hit a point and then criminal. But would anybody want to press charges for >> who? No, man. He's having a tough guy. >> The guy. That's all I feel for the guy. That's the thing. >> A good guy, man. >> Charges, but we do want to set a trespass on. >> Yeah, they're good. >> So, you don't want to press charges? >> Romeo agent. Despite no one choosing to press charges, not even the staff she allegedly harassed, the woman continues to be a problem now that she's at the station. >> Do you have any medical problems? >> Hey, no. >> Do you have any medical problems? >> With what? >> Do you have any medical problems? >> With what? >> Do you have any medical issues? >> With what? >> You're just prolonging the amount of time you have to spend in jail. >> With what? >> Prolonging the amount of time you have to spend in jail. >> With what? >> Uh, >> with what? >> She had that already. All right. [Music] What? What? What? >> All right. I get >> you. Um, I saw the video of you and she was pushing you and stuff. >> Yeah. >> Um, you want to press charge to talk her? >> No. >> I I was just trying to prevent her from leaving, hurting herself further. >> Send the line to murderers for medical clearance. >> Before she can be booked and processed, officers make sure the woman is medically cleared. This is not going to work for you. This is not work. >> Oh, Jesus Christ. You're going to fall. All right. >> Oh, shut up. It's not that funny. It's not >> I'm not laughing. >> I'm trying to help you come out the car. >> Excuse me. Ow. Ow. It's not supposed to be that funny. >> I'm not laughing. >> Me out and I'll get >> Okay, but you have to put your other foot. >> I just I'm done. I'm done. You want some help? >> Yeah. >> Let me get some gloves. >> Yeah. >> Can you get up? The nurses are coming to grab you. >> In the end, the woman was charged with disorderly intoxication, battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting both with and without violence. Number three, when you cause trouble so often, even the cops don't even need to ask for ID. In this next case from Hoboka, New Jersey, officers responded to a liquor store where a man had allegedly caused a disturbance and refused to leave. By the time the authorities arrived, the suspect was already gone, but they caught up to him not far down the road. Here's what happened after. >> All right. When they get down, just uh have them give them his name to the desk and let's run them to see what if you have anything open. >> Sebastian. >> Yeah. >> Sit down. >> Sit down. >> Why? >> Do me a favor and sit down, please. >> I didn't do anything. >> All right. You You didn't do I just watched you right now. >> Yeah. You >> And what about the people in the park that you did it to? >> What people in the park? >> Is this what we're doing all day? We're chasing you around. Why did you leave the hospital? Cuz I >> Why were you in aelli right now making a mess? >> Adam Manelli doing a mess? What do you mean? >> Sebastian, first off, take your hand off. >> I swear on my mother life, I I wasn't even >> What What was that right now? >> Well, it gives me towards me and I I just literally spray some Pepsi in his thing. I didn't do anything wrong. >> You You think that's nothing wrong? >> Well, yeah, but he was being an towards me. You should >> Why are we getting calls for you all day? >> What do you mean calls for me all day? >> Exactly what I said is what I mean. >> We didn't do anything, >> Sebastian. >> Miss, I'm telling you. What do you mean stop? I I didn't do anything. >> Why did you leave the hospital? >> Because I wanted to leave. I I don't I'm not arrested. >> You're going to be >> for what? I didn't do anything. >> You're causing multiple >> complaints. I just watched you complain. I just watched you throw soda in somebody's face. Sebastian, >> what? He had the window up. >> Knock it off, >> miss. He had the window. >> Knock it off, >> miss. He had the window. >> No, no, no, no, no. Knock it off. >> I will. But he had the window up. >> I don't care what he had. >> That is not your right to throw your stuff on somebody else's property. >> Okay, but you know what? >> It's not your right to go throw water. First off, move over cuz people are walking. Move over cuz people are walking. He's cooperative for now, but after the chaos he's already caused, officers aren't in a position to just let him off with a warning. >> We're not dealing with you all day. >> I know. >> You're going to end up getting arrested again. >> Do you hear me? >> Yes. And I did not do anything wrong. They disrespected me. >> You never do anything. >> What do you want me to do? What do you want me to do? Like get disrespected? Mina, do >> you never do anything wrong, Sebastian? You're always the victim. I just watched you do that. But you didn't do that wrong. Yeah, but I didn't spray it in his face. What are you talking about? >> That is not your property to touch. >> Was that your car, >> miss? >> No, no, no, no. My question was I was being nice of Was that your car? Disrespecting me. >> Was that your car is my So, who are you to throw your stuff on somebody else's car? >> Who are you to go in and make a mess? >> What do you mean out of Manelli? I didn't go to throw water on somebody at the park. >> I didn't throw any water. >> Again, you're always a victim. You're always a victim. What do you mean I'm always a victim? I didn't do >> No, I know. You never do anything. You're always a victim. You're going to end up getting arrested again. >> But I didn't do I didn't go to Manelli. >> Oh, yeah. It's Sebastian N. >> I know you're always a victim. We've gone through >> What are you talking about? >> It's really pissing me off because I didn't >> It's really pissing me off that it's it's nobody 1:00 and we got seven phone calls for you already. >> Seven phone calls for what? I didn't do anything >> again. You're always a victim. Why did you leave the hospital? Because you felt like >> I want to go. I I didn't want to stay there. I felt crazy >> the hospital like that. >> But I don't want to go. I don't I don't I don't want to like I'm good. I didn't do anything wrong. >> You Well, we received a lot of complaints about you. >> I didn't do anything. >> Let me just talk. Someone just said that you just spit at her face. >> I just watched throw soda at somebody. >> Okay. Do a favor. >> Pixie, I want you to relax. Calm down. You're going to have another panic attack and I don't want you to do that. Yeah, cuz she got me. >> Sebastian, relax. Take a deep breath. >> Previously hospitalized for substance use and psychiatric concerns. 24year-old Sebastian is now showing signs that he may be back under the influence and possibly carrying illegal substances. >> You left the hospital and since you left, we've gotten three calls about you. Miss, >> I didn't I didn't I didn't. >> Maybe you don't remember and that's okay that you don't remember, but it did happen. I'm letting you know what happened. Okay, >> stand up. Stand up. Stand up. Stand up. He's a 25 me. >> Thank you. >> You have anything on hopefully sick may hurt me. >> I don't have anything. >> Why am I doing anything wrong? >> But you know what? This is going to help you actually. >> But I didn't do anything. >> Okay. But you need help. And you did do you have a warrant, right? You have a warrant. >> No, I don't. Is that what it is? >> Oh, he I just watched him throw something. >> I don't have one. I don't have >> How many pants do you have on? >> He has two pairs of pants. [Music] Stop moving. I'm just going to unzip this. Okay. >> Cuz I don't know what you have in your pockets. >> How many pairs of pants you have here? The My [Music] >> brother, >> I don't get it. It causes new disturbance everywhere you go. I don't Can we have multiple complaints about you? I was imagining maybe you got the wrong person. >> No, it's you. It's described exactly the way you look. >> Let's pay you. >> And now the officers get ready to take Sebastian down to the station for booking, knowing full well that today's incident will only add to the growing list of offenses already tied to his name. [Music] [Music] Check the inside of the jacket pocket. >> Um, >> what car you taking? >> You want to take uh what? We'll take One, two, three. Back. >> Wait, what do you mean? Where? >> Why? >> What did I do? >> I didn't do anything. >> You did. You spit on a guy. You >> I didn't spit on him. No. >> I didn't spit on nobody. Why you guys got to do this to me? >> Oh, whatever. I don't care. >> Why you guys got to do this to me all the time? Now cuffed and facing charges, Sebastian's emotions begin to take over. >> I just wanted I just want to be okay. >> You're going to relax. What you're going to do relax. >> Okay, that's fine. >> I'm going go and then Nick can take my car. He can I >> Yeah. Yeah. Is that [Applause] >> you want to smash it? Look at me. You give us a hard time, are you? I hope not. Come on. [Music] do this fast so I could get some [Music] I didn't Door's open. >> In the end, Sebastian faced charges for tampering, possessing an illegal substance, and having illegal paraphernalia. Number two, this girlfriend took a personal argument to a whole new level. On May 10th, 2023, officers in Illinois responded to a call from a man claiming his girlfriend slashed his tires while the vehicle was parked outside. Here's what unfolded when police arrived. [Music] >> Hey, you guys call? >> Is there someone out here? >> No. Ain't no ain't no problem out here at all, officer. Not at all. Ain't no problem. You sure? Ain't no problem out here at all. I don't know what talking about. Ain't no problem. She just flatten my hole in my car. >> Not your car. It's my car. Not your car. >> I bought it. It's in my She sat here. Just hit me in my face all the time. I never tell my car. >> My car. >> My car. My car. >> Okay. >> It's her car. She's letting her tire. She flat her own tires. This her car is my car. This is my friend. How you going to get How are you going to get it out of here? I'll get out of here. >> Call the tow truck. I'm going to call the tow truck. >> This is my car. Mine. >> Wait. Hold on a second. >> So, if you want to cuss me for my own, if it's your if it's your property, I'm not trying to make a bigger deal out of it than it is. That's not where I'm going with this. I'm just trying to figure it out. >> Okay. So, let me just catch up to speed real quick. >> Sure. >> He says his car is in his name. >> She said it's her car. >> She slashed the tires. >> It's her car. I don't know. I'm going to run it. >> Okay. >> Yeah. It's registered. >> All three of them. >> And I did. It's mine. It's mine. >> It's registered to him. >> Well, you know what? Like I said, cuff me and take me. I paid for that. It's mine. >> I I get that. You got to get that stuff in your name though for situations like this cuz I like say >> I'm sick of that. Every time we get into it, he want to put his mama on me like I don't got mama. I'm sick of that. >> Unless her entitle showing it's yours. There's nothing we can do about that. >> Well, take me to jail then cuz I sure did. I slashed all three of these. Go ahead and take me and do what y'all got to do. That's cool. That's I'm I'm 100% fine with that. As the female officer tries to get the partner's side of the story, the woman's constant yelling makes it nearly impossible to hold a proper conversation. >> All right. So, what all what all happened? >> Letting him talk to her and sit over here. >> Go ahead and be ready to bomb me out cuz I know I'm going to jail. >> We don't know that yet. >> You don't know that cuz >> she's talking to hell. >> And if your mama or anybody pull up to my house, I'm calling the police. >> I got her. >> Well, no. I'm just going to say >> I just had a baby three weeks ago. I'm sitting that no >> the title title >> and she got her title. >> It's the title in his name. The place in his name. I paid for the car. This my car. >> She only paid for it cuz she >> Okay. But the title >> but she paid for the car. >> I paid for the car. That's my >> broke up. >> That's my >> They just recently broke up. Like, let me say yesterday. >> I don't give a if I'm going to go out jail, go to jail out of here tonight. I don't care. >> Like, >> I don't care. I've been asking for my >> You a little stupid. You know you going to go to jail cuz you got a warrant, dummy. >> You should have just let him pull off. >> I'm going to end up I'm going to end up stay right here. Okay. I think she's trying to talk him out of charges. >> Bro, he can press whatever charges he got to press. This is my car. This is mine. >> I don't care about going to jail. A shot to >> not technically. >> I didn't have my kids. They can't call DCFS on me. >> Yeah, we ain't calling DC. >> I'm just saying like >> they can't they can't call DCFS on me. Well, no kids involve in this. >> I know, but you know. >> Is this one of those where you guys are going to be back together? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> So, all he had to do was give me my car. And I wish the police wasn't right here cuz I had you get out and be >> not right now. My baby daddy. >> Not right now cuz >> not right now cuz >> I'm telling you now. >> Calm down. >> Do you have a ID on you? That way I ask you question. >> It's in my birth. >> Now the officers are weighing their options despite the heated argument between the couple. There's a three-w weekek old baby caught in the middle and separating the infant from her mother is a serious step. But unfortunately, the woman shows no signs of backing down. >> Oh, what's your first name? >> She goes, >> are you guys going to be able to separate from each other? You >> Yeah, we can be able to separate from each other. I don't need him to go to jail. I'm not trying to press charges. I'm not trying to do none of that. I just want my car. He can take his place in his title. Just give me my pay for me. >> What's your birthday? >> You have a good phone number. >> Where'd he say? >> Cuz I'm willing to go clean down to county. So press charges and do what you got to do. >> We're not going to go down to county. You got a two week old baby, three week old baby, whatever you got to take care of, right? So he wants to press charges. So, I'm going to write you an NTA. >> No, go ahead and cuff me up. Cut me up. >> You want to go to jail? >> Because this is my regardless of how this >> I don't want to take you to jail. I don't court. >> So, he could call his mama and tell his mama I got a slap on the wrist cuz all they do is come ask a slap on the wrist. The only difference is here's what's going to happen. If I take you out of the county, they're going to book you in then they're going to let you go. So, you're going to take a trip out there for no reason and probably have to pay for more. It's not a slap on the wrist. It's the same thing. You're getting a booking slip. You're getting arrested. >> I'm really glad that's all you're going to have for it's either you go out there and waste your time. >> Hot shelf court date. Okay. >> Yeah. So, it's it's the same thing. You're just not taking the trip out there cuz you're going to go out there and then they're going to be like, "See you and you're going to have to get a ride back out." >> So, maybe the hassle to end. Okay. >> Well, go ahead. >> All right. Give me a few minutes. We just want to make sure I'm getting arrested, but I'm not going down to the county cuz he pressed on. >> You're going to make sure they go their own separate way. >> That's why I was up here. >> All right. >> We going to go our own separate ways after this. I don't give a It's still my >> It's still mine. I had a baby 3 weeks ago. And you ain't with you. So, I don't give a >> Despite her friend's repeated attempts to calm her down, the woman's behavior only gets worse, escalating in a way that leaves officers with fewer and fewer options. >> Know where I stay. If it's smoke, y'all know exactly where the I stay. I'm not running from nobody. I ain't hiding. I ain't running. I had every right to slash these titles. >> Got to make sure it's in your name before she only picking her up in this. Now ain't nobody moving in this >> separate so it doesn't get any worse than it already is. Okay. >> Not five. >> We can go our separate ways after this. When you pulled up and I said it wasn't no problem. It wasn't no problem cuz he was taking he was walking that way. So what the kept doing? Yes. He can go. He can go. >> All right. All right. That's fine. >> If y'all want to take me and do what y'all got to do. >> All I want to do is give you this paperwork and have you sign it and that's it. This is this is an NTA. This shows you your court date. Wednesday, June 21st at 10:00 a.m. in courtroom 321. Okay. Criminal damage property. That's all it is. >> What I tell you? >> If you got you got papers with showing the money that you paid, take them with you. >> Well, I got it. I got a court date. He pressed charges on me. Technically, I'm not going >> because she has receipts and stuff for the money that she's paid. Tell her to take it with her to her court date. Okay? Because it's a civil thing. title and the money because it sucks when you trust someone and you put money down on something but it's in their name like our hands are tied you know what I mean like it's registered to him we don't have proof of anything but if she goes to court and shows like hey look I paid all this money for this car that's going to help her a lot probably >> or if they get back together >> yeah he can do the charges too there's that it's a he charge but he I doubt he >> at the same time show show proof that you paid for it and that's going to help you a lot >> she can't show no >> I can't show no proof you have paid for the car. Then we then name it on the receipt. >> That's why you want to go ahead and lock me up cuz I'm not going to calm down. >> Her name's not on the title. She gave him money. >> Okay. I didn't know if she gave him the money or not. >> I'm not going to calm down. >> At this point, it becomes clear to all officers that this situation isn't going to end quietly. >> I'm not going to calm down. I'm mad. I'm mad. I'm not going to calm down. When we go our separate ways, I'mma still cut the I might follow this right to where the going. So, it's probably your best bet to take me to the county for real. Cuz I'm not going to calm down. I'm not. Now, after you just set up and call all your people on me, knowing I'm by myself. >> You think you think he's You think he's getting what he wants out of you right now? >> Yes, he is. >> Yeah. So, don't do anything. >> So, take me. He press charges. Take me. Simple. Take me. I'm done with it. Get my kids and go to my keys. Take me. Take me. Y'all going to have to. I'm telling y'all this now. Y'all going to have to. I'm going to jail following Shanti to my house. If she can't sit here and tell me that she's going to go follow him and do all this >> get my keys to Leasia because I'm not going to calm down and you not all know I'm not going to calm down. So y'all got to do what you got to do. >> Where's your baby at? >> She with my friend. They nowhere near around. >> But but I'm just saying she's in a good place taken care of. Safe. >> She got three. >> She's going to be your baby's going to be fine, right? This is why we're This is why I'm trying to work this out with you so you don't have to do that. >> You don't need to go to jail. Not listening. >> I'm not going to calm down. Just get my kids. Go and go about your business. My phone my phone to my phone. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> I'm I'm on my way to double lock these so I don't get all tight on you. All right. We'll come over. Can you get him to move? >> Yeah. >> No, I know, but I don't want yell. Can't just get him to move. I don't want him yelling in your face or pissing you off even more than you already are. Okay, >> we're going to go to the other side. You still got the knife on you. Is it in your purse? >> Don't leave. I don't have time at all. >> Okay, just face the car for me. I'm going to pat you down. Nothing's going to stick me or poke me. >> I I hate this for you. You can't It sucks that you can't trust people. You know what I mean? The officer still makes an effort to offer a few parting words with understanding, recognizing the stress of the moment. But that doesn't change the reality that the woman is now being officially taken in for booking. >> Cuz that's what they do to you. You know, you try to help someone out and try to help each other out and then you end up in a situation like this and that's not fair. Okay? But I I understand why you're pissed off 100%. I don't I don't blame you for being pissed. here. >> They're bad. Um, and there's really nowhere. You can't like spray regular bug spray. >> Does she Does she have any of your stuff that you want to go with you? >> Uh, Presley. So, >> do you have any does she have any of your stuff that you want to go out with you? >> It's a vanilla bug spray for specifically the buffalo. Wicked, man. They bite the heck out of you. >> Well, you don't even notice it. What's that? You don't notice it. >> They pester you, but you don't notice, right? I mean, they p like nasty, >> but you don't notice you the next day. And I got bites on my ear, my >> Do you want to take your phone with you or something? >> Anything you want to take, I can take and it'll be in a property bag for you. >> Put the mosquitoes too on top of it. >> Yeah. Just take the day. >> But every time I've been out there lately, I've got freaking >> I understand. >> You listen. That's what I want to tell you. Just had another baby on me. You know, I want to go. >> That's called the police on me, too. I'm trying to keep myself calm, too. We move in silence. We do that. >> Just take your court date. >> Oh, you let him know. Oh, I tried real hard. >> Oh, I know. >> Making a confession. >> We tried. Tremble. >> I've I've never tried that hard to not send someone to jail. >> This girl. >> Ultimately, the woman was charged with criminal damage. Number one, this driver thought she could win an argument with the police. Our last case takes us to Monroe County where deputies encounter a driver who refuses to move over for an emergency vehicle. Here's what happens when they pull her over. >> Hey, how's it going, ma'am? >> Sheriff, got your license on you? >> I'm sorry. >> Got your license on you? >> I do. >> I'm pulling you over. You have to move over for me. Okay. And you drove into the bike lane when you passed me. Wait, what? Say it again. >> So, I pulled you over failing to move over. Okay. >> Failing to move over. What does that mean? >> So, when you see law enforcement or any first responder on the side of the road with their lights on, you have to move over to the vacant lane. Okay. >> Um, I guess. >> What was that other one? Just a ID card? >> Yeah, ID. Here you go. >> Okay. When did you get this one? >> Um, when I was living in West Palm. Oh, >> okay. So your license won't be suspended or anything? >> Of course not. >> You said of course or of course not. >> I said of course not. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> You can have the ID back. Do you have registration proof insurance by chance? >> Uh I do. Of course I do. >> Okay. And where are we coming from tonight? >> Say it again. >> Where are you coming from tonight? >> Um I mean I don't have to answer too. >> You don't. All right. Thank you. and proof insurance either the card or on your phone. >> Is it not there? >> No, that's just your registration. >> Give me one second and I will >> Okay. >> Here you go. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. 108. >> At first glance, it seems like this will be a simple exchange. The woman is calm, cooperative, and quick to provide her documents when asked. But despite the smooth start, the traffic stop is far from over and things are about to take a turn. >> But again, why did you pull me over? >> For failing to move over for law enforcement. Okay. So, >> I don't understand that. Can you explain it? >> I got you. So, when you see like this is a traffic stop, right? I'm a police officer. There's red and blue lights in my car. You can't drive past me in the right lane. Okay. You have >> So, I had to pull up to the left side. >> You had to move over to the left lane. >> I'm sure I did it cuz I always do that. But that's fine. >> Uh, okay. Do you do me a favor? Hop out the car for me, please. >> No, I will not. >> Uh, yes, you will. >> Why? >> Cuz I'm smelling alcohol coming from your car. Your eyes are watery >> and you're acting all slow. >> Listen, I've been crying. I'm going through a really hard breakup and >> I understand that, but I'm still smelling alcohol coming from the car. Okay. >> No, there's not. >> Yes, sir. So, can you hop out the car for me? >> Uh, go for it. You got the car. >> I'm not going to. >> Come on. Let's hop out the car for me. >> No. >> Yes. >> Do you need the air? >> Negative right now. >> Come on, ma'am. Hop out the car. I'm going to be conducting a DUI investigation. Okay. >> That's fine. >> All right then. Hop out the car. No, I'm not. >> All right. Come on. >> Whoa. You're >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. Give me your other hand. >> Okay. That's a little rough, but okay. It can be a little rough. Yeah. When you don't want to listen to me >> and follow my orders. I asked you to get out the car. No, I told you to get out the car multiple times and you said no. Straight to my face. >> Um I mean >> 721 code 5 male custody. >> But this is on camera, right? >> Correction. Female custody. >> Yes, ma'am. It is. >> Okay, perfect. Despite multiple chances to comply, the woman's continued refusal to acknowledge the officer's instructions and her combative attitude leave the officers with no choice. She's now on the ground in handcuffs, and there's no avoiding the consequences this time. >> Any any needles or anything on you? >> No, definitely not. >> Definitely not. >> Okay. I'm going help you get out. >> Please help me. >> I will copy. I'll be breaking and I'll be right to location. >> Copy. >> All right. You do me a favor. Roll on your side right here. >> Of course. Yeah. >> Put your knees up and I'm going to pull you this way and use your feet to stand up. Okay. Oh, >> of course. Yeah. All right. All right. So, I'm still deduct uh conducting my DUI investigation. Okay. Would you like to perform a field soiety exercises to dispel my belief? >> I don't understand what you're saying. >> So, I think you're drunk off of alcohol. >> I think you're drunk. >> I'm not drunk. >> I believe you're drunk either under alcohol or control substance. Okay. So, >> whatever you say. >> Would you like to perform a field soiet exercises to disprove my belief? >> Yes. Let's go. >> Okay. sit in my car real quick. >> We're going to wait for my partner to get here. >> Perfect. >> Can you show me the resource? I'll be out with you. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. Just hop out and we're going to do the exercises right here. Okay. >> Okay. Can you unc? >> Yes. I'm I'm I'mma uncuff you when you get out. >> So, when I get out here now? >> Yes. Cuz I'm I'm Take out your handcuffs and we're conducting exercises. Okay. >> Oh, of course. Whatever you say. Deputy Hernandez. >> In an effort to give the woman a fair chance to prove she's sober enough to drive, the officer transports her to a nearby parking lot where she agrees to undergo a standard field sobriety test. >> Just relax. I need to take this one off. >> Listen, I'm relaxed. But so what is this implying? >> What is What do you mean the exercises? >> Yeah, for sure. to disprove my belief that you're uh driving your car drunk >> cuz I believe you're >> I didn't pull over because you had stopped somebody and that's why you pulled me over. >> I I stopped you cuz you failed to move over. >> Let's come step in front of my car. Okay, >> for sure. In front of your car. So, right here in the middle. >> Yep. We'll do it right here, actually. >> Okay. Show >> right here. Come step on my light. Okay. And face me. Okay. Wait, but hold on because I'm a tattoo artist and cops get tattoos all the time >> and they've told me how it works to do the drunk test. >> Okay. So, you don't want to do the field uh field? >> I definitely do. Let's go. >> Okay. >> Face face me. Put your feet together, hands by your sides. Okay. Okay. So, for this exercise, you're going to f the tip of my pen with your eyes and your eyes only. Okay. Do you have any medical problems? Diabetic? >> No, I do not. >> Epilepsy? >> No. >> Okay. You have any false eyes? >> No, I do not. >> Okay. Blindness in any eye? >> Definitely not. >> Okay. Any head injuries? >> No. >> Okay. So, you're going to follow the tip of my pen with your eyes and your eyes only. Do not move your head. Okay. My light is a blinding then just tell me to move it and we'll move it. Okay. >> Wait. Hold on. Tell me to move what? >> So, if my light blinds you, >> then tell me to move it and I'll move it. Okay. But I'm doing your test. So why would I tell you to move it? >> Because I don't want you to Do you want to the light like this blinding your eye? No. >> I mean it does I mean I'm doing a test for you. >> Exercises. They're not tests. They're exercises. >> Whatever it is. But I mean >> Okay. Just put your hands by your sides. We're going to begin the exercise. Okay. So >> don't move your head. Just follow with your eyes and your eyes only. Okay. >> It's a relatively simple instruction, right? For the suspect. It's something that's hard to follow. Don't move your head. Okay. Keep looking at it. You're not looking at it. Okay. >> I am. >> Okay. >> Okay. I'm going to go up. Don't lift your chin. Don't move your head. Okay. >> I moved my chin, but I'm sorry. >> I got you. Just keep looking at the Keep looking at the vent. Okay. For next exercise is the walk and turn. Okay. So, can you walk in a straight line? >> Do you have any? >> Yes, of course I can. Can you tell me the straight line? >> I understand. We're going to we're going to go through all that. Okay. >> Okay. So, >> do you >> I go as you say. >> Okay. Your legs hurt? Any leg injuries? Anything like that? >> No. No. Not. >> So, you can walk perfectly fine? >> Perfectly fine. >> Okay. So, we're going to step right here. Okay. >> Okay. Yeah. >> Okay. So, for this exercise, I'm going to explain the exercise, then I'm going to demonstrate it to you, then I'm going to tell you to begin. Okay? >> Go ahead. Demonstrate it. >> I need I need you to get in a uh starting position. Okay. >> Is this >> It's not that. So, put your left foot put the left foot on your line on the line. >> Okay. >> Put it right right in the middle of the line. Okay. >> But you said you were going to demonstrate it. >> I am. >> So, go ahead. >> So, put your left foot on the line like this. >> Okay. >> Right foot in front touching heel to toe. Okay. Heel to toe. >> Yep. Touching heel to toe. >> Okay. >> Hands by your sides. Now stay in that position until you until I tell you to start the exercise. Okay. >> But listen, you said you were going to demonstrate. >> I am going to demonstrate. >> Can Can you do >> I am >> but I I need you to stay in this position. >> But listen, demonstrate it to me first. You said, >> but I need you to stay in that position, then I'm going to demonstrate it. Okay. >> The officer tries to proceed with the next step, but the woman seems to hesitate, doing her best to stall and draw things out a little longer. So, can you get back? >> A little uncomfortable. And the camera's on, right? >> Yes, ma'am. Is that a red light? >> There is a red light. >> Then it's recording. >> So, you said you were going to demonstrate it. >> I am going to demonstrate it. I just need you >> demonstrate it. >> I need you to stay in the starting position now. That's a part of that's part of the instructions. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, left foot on the line, right foot in front, heel to toe, hands by your sides. Okay. >> Okay. >> If you get out that position, just get right back into it. Okay. >> So, I'm good here now. You're not you got to touch heel to toe like this and hands by your sides and stay in that position until I tell you to start. >> Okay, is this good for you? >> That's good. Okay, >> so for this exercise, you're going to walk down the line nine steps, take a series of small steps to turn around, then nine steps back. Okay, and I'm I'm going to demonstrate it right now. Okay, >> so do it. >> So look right here. Can you get back in the starting position for me, please? >> Can you do it on the line? >> Can I do it on the line? No, >> you were going to demonstrate. >> Yes. I'm going to do it like this so you can see my foot. Okay. No, I want to see it on the line. >> Okay, I'll do it on the line for you. So, you're in your starting >> told you to get in. >> Don't worry about it. So, right here. Okay. You're in the starting position. >> Just like this. >> Uh-huh. >> While you walk, you're going to keep your eyes on your feet and count your steps out loud. It's It's going to look something like this. Okay. One, two, three. I'm only taking three steps. You're going to take nine steps. Okay. When you get >> nine steps? >> Yes. When you when you get to your ninth step, you're going to leave your lead foot on the line. Take a series of small steps like this to turn around. Then nine back down. One, two, three. Do you understand everything I just explained to you? >> I don't. >> What? What don't you get? >> I mean, um, it's so it's way more than what you're demonstrating. >> Listen it. Listen, >> let's cut to the chase. >> You think I'm drunk? Yes, I think you're drunk. Okay. So, let's go. >> Okay. >> Okay, then let's go. I I'm not doing it. >> Whatever. >> Let's go. >> Now, the officers have made their decision. The woman will be taken into custody and her car will be loaded up for impound. 721 female in custody. Signal one is me. office number, next place, birthday, and next rotation. >> Phone number that way. >> No, I don't give you my phone number. >> You don't want to pick up your car? >> Um, I do. Why? >> Your phone number is for the tow receipt. >> And you don't need tow receipts for that. >> Do you have any anything? >> Nothing. I have nothing. >> Okay. All right. What? >> You just take a picture for it. picture for what? >> I'm just talking to my deputy. Okay. >> Okay. Go ahead. >> Copy. Let's see if it works. >> 911. >> Hello. Um, what um dispatch am I speaking with? What county? >> Monroe County. >> Oh, hey. Hey, how you doing? This is um 7118 >> 414. >> Um is there any way you could get this phone number and um put it in the CAD notes um or in card it to me? Um it's for the female. I needed to get the tow receipt. >> Yeah, I will put it in the cab and I'll car it to you. >> All right. Thank you. I appreciate it. You're welcome. Bye. should be right. Golly. In the end, the woman faced multiple charges, including DUI, possession of an illegal firearm, and resisting arrest. What's your verdict? Let me know in the comments, and I'll see you in the next video. As always, stay safe out there, folks.
