getting caught shoplifting is bad enough but these entitled thieves made things even worse by acting like they did nothing wrong here are five instances when cops have to deal with super entitled shoplifters number five woman thinks playing dumb will get her out of trouble on March 23rd 2024 in Florida officers responded to a shoplifting call from a Carter store two female suspects had allegedly entered taken merchandise and left without paying officers soon located their vehicle and spotted a female individual matching the suspect description near the shopping complex's parking lot here's what happened next hello how you doing how you doing I'm Morales okay um basically want to talk to you about something you match the description of a female that we're looking for right now why you out of breath what's going on oh no I was on the phone I just got wet okay you saw m what you match the description of a female we're looking for you might well get your ID yeah I match the description did you uh you go CIS at all you would do what did you go to Caris I had brought something from there so you brought something from there something what did you get I got my receipt and everything okay all right we'll just get your ID and then we in the description we'll confirm if it's you or not right [Music] all right so she do got a c's back so she's red up out my receips and everything so this copy I'll be on so oh she got a Carter bag you okay we going figure it out according to store staff two female individuals entered the store one suspect concealed the stolen merchandise while the other engaged employees in conversation to create a distraction listen to the staff's account of what happened I called you guys as she was Runing the corner and her breasts were suddenly huge because she stuffed all the product down her shirt um and into her purse about how much did you think they took probably like $1,000 $1,000 wow they took you itemize her seat we're out with one of the females um she does have a Carter's bag but we'll be at at the night store everything what what did she say about Carter What wasie said about Carter all right they're at the Nike store at least one of them you're able to walk over there and ID them U ma'am can you just step out the car for me please okay let me see your back not underr all right you just detain right now all right do your phone over there okay for right now you're just going to be entertained okay so I have to place you in cuffs why don't be entertained though you're not under arrest like we said you match script somebody that throw items from Cars okay you have a and once they come over here when they say it is or not you then we'll talk C on there right father still on all my stuff right there that's why I said like once they confirm it is or not you if it's not you then we'll let you go if it is you then we'll have a talk about that right have back there and look at cameras you guys got cameras right yes we do before proceeding with any questions officers made sure to read the suspect or rights I'm just going to read you something too okay cuz you aren TI up to your rights you're not under arrest it does detain but I have to read you your rights okay you have the right to remain silent anything you say may use as evidence against you you have the right to talk attorney I have't heard with you now anytime during question if you cannot afford an attorney won't be appointed to represent you if anytime you wish to stop talking I have an attorney present all question will be sto for request do you understand your rights yes with these rights of M you want to talk to me or any one of my partners I come on scene and ask you questions okay yes I want to talk to part CU I'm trying to figure out what I supposed to took we trying to figure out too um apparently we just got a call about you know two uh two females matching the description of you're wearing um my partner saw you go inside the vehicle um and that's pretty much it um someone just stealing from Carter's you have a Carter right there okay but you have a Carter's bag okay and you know we have to make sure that everything's accounted for in that bag okay but um that's what we're here for and it's just kind of little suspicious that you're you're not even in the driver seat you're in the passenger seat so where's your friend where is who where's the driver my sister yeah I'm waiting on her she she know she going H I know wish we can grab two of them now you know one is better than none right you want me to put your phone in po how long is going to take to get over here who who you waiting I'm waiting on my partner to see basically they go bring somebody over here right say what it is you it's not you like I told you if it's not you then we let you go is you then we have conversation see what they want to do right okay moments later another officer escorts the store employee to the parking lot to verify the suspect's identity see what my part at Radio is C right here restrooms I don't know if it's over there or over here somewhere I there's one all the way down next to anti [Music] ANS okay she was in there I I would like to know what she see me took we're going to walk up behind the truck here real quick positive ID okay what's going to happen what did you say her sister's walking somewhere shees know she was with her baby daddy that's what I'm saying I don't know if she left with him I'll have to call her got you is this your car no where's the car you came in this the car I came in but it's not my car she was sitting inside okay where's your sister all my stuff right there that I got all my stuff is right there with my receipt why she where's your sister at I don't know she might have went with her baby daddy she was out here with her you want to call her I y'all going to take this off yeah you want to call her yeah I'll call her okay let's call her I'm not taking off the Cs you want me to call her with the Cs on you just have your phone in your hand with the cffs on I know but it's uncomfortable you're just being DET CH for right now probably T okay did you leave with bar or you still here she gone okay perfect we'll do a warrant for her and then you're going to be taking a ride too you can hang up the phone now taking a around for what I didn't steal anything I I have my stuff right here I didn't steal anything we cover items uh those are the those are the items that apparently she paid for the suspect continues to deny any involvement despite surveillance footage clearly showing her and her accomplice committing the theft right so he trying to take me to jail and I didn't take anything well they have you on camera I didn't take anything but it it says otherwise that you did where is it at on camera tell her to show me they looked at it already they already looked that's why they called us they gave a description they Prov description and stuff like that I mean you taking a ride she's not she said she ain't here she just have a warn out for arrest you're saying you paid for these yes is there a receipt in here for these okay you guys ready yet or no yes she want to talk yeah she talked she said basically uh she went in there to buy some stuff she didn't steal nothing all that stuff that's on the receipt except that's in the bag and about it okay I thought just say I was going to get her to identify me so I could show her that I didn't take anything she did she identifi you you put the flashlight on your face she identified you except this is a receipt from Sanford that's what I'm saying all my stuff is paid for when I went in there I was exchanging she held my stuff at the counter literally for me yeah yeah yeah yeah she hel my stuff at the counter so what did I Pi you held my stuff at the counter it's the same bag I had what car is y'all's that's the same that's not my car is this the car you guys came in no she's chilling in she just chilling it's her car so is there anything in the car no you got the keys for the car no can we search the car no well it's not her car it's not mine and I'm not giving no authority to search nobody's car well it's not your car so you can't get that Authority anyway this is the girl that so the one lady came came in brought it to the counter she went behind and already took some baby girl items left the store and came back again [Applause] okay in total she stol an astonishing $3,138 worth of merchandise from Carter along with an additional $566 worth of clothing from a nearby Old Navy if you going to take me go ahead and take me I ain't got time go ahead and do she saying this and that I know I'm going to beat it cuz I didn't steal nothing out of there so it's all good uh we'll have security come over and tow it and uh we'll just have to do the inventory prior to Towing what you got to do oh you wanted to she saying she told me she lying she didn't see me still nothing let me see my phone no it's okay no hang it up cuz it's calling somebody I don't try to call nobody you can hang it up it's calling somebody could you hang it up I don't know phone I don't know who's on my phone up we'll do it in a second let's go over here so somebody sitting on my phone I don't know who that is okay come on let's go over there I got stuff in my D so okay okay when we get to the our Police Department the officers over there I'm pretty sure they'll let you call somebody or give you a number where you what can I call her she needs to do our job now we have to do our job she claimed that she had to do a exchange because she had twin baby boys that were a year old you have a look at this card decline canceled card decline cancelled so they're using they're using stolen credit cards look at all these different cards that are declined perfect canel canel canel declined declined we'll see if it's on her property now and on video is going to sell her stuff and all the stuff in her this is a no sale every single transaction on here is fly hey you want to go I I'll go in there real quick if he can just does he have her in the car yeah get her out there all all those transactions are declined transactions now that the woman is in the police car officers turn their attention to her vehicle what they discover makes it clear why she refused to search in the first Place watch what they find where is that my phone ringing huh is that my phone ringing I okay we watch your feet there's another big bag up here cool so we need itemized receipts for that there uh is this all yours o don't know yeah expect driver license you want me to run it this is all Carters grab one this L heavy as that's our too yeah this is all Carters I dro it's going to have a felony hold on it huh it's going to have a felony hold on it why would it have a felony hold on it because I'm putting a felony hold on it why are you putting a felony hold on it because they're using it to commit a massive amount of retail Fest and fraud for Vina just got me from the jail they let her use her phone so I can't get gotcha well regardless the other girl was nice enough to leave her wallet and ID and everything your car 3 days later the other female suspect surrendered herself at the station were you at the window oh what how can we help you toer what kind of property my wife and my father we're just going to step through these doors here if you want mind just putting your phone on the counter here and just go ahead and put your hands behind your back both suspects were charged with Grand Theft and petty theft the first suspect entered a pre-trial diversion program was required to attend anti- theft classes meanwhile the second suspect pleaded noo contendere which means she accepted the punishment without admitting guilt and was placed on 18 months of probation number four entitled woman argues with officers upon being caught red-handed for some repeat offenders shoplifting isn't just a crime it's a habit in this next case officers responded to a super one liquor store after a familiar Thief attempts to strike again watch the surveillance footage of the woman's repeated shoplifting attempts I saw that it up do have uh well you're out now huh yeah I got to figure out now you'd expect someone to learn their lesson after being caught but not this suspect just days later she was back at the store this time with a male accomplice this time the store wasted no time calling the police watch how she responds when confronted so we got a couple shop lers here he s up here struggling all on me he have to do all that do want to go can you go can you come to the office no we just talk out here the police can we given us this photo as attempt to identify cuz you guys have a prior shoplifting there okay the suspect argues that she didn't steal since she put the bottle back after being caught the female officer however makes it clear that it doesn't work that way and then do you have one from super one before okay I this is the only super one store we came to 33 48 do you guys have ideas with you no I don't have my ID okay but I will tell you my name and like difference 48 can you look at uh 72 shoplifting I let you know if there is like I have been able to tell today so annoy 72 shopliftings from Keyport for these two can I just give me a TI I got to look at what they are I'm fairly certain there it's going to be that and like trespassing they don't want you back with the two um but it was an attempt to identify so what is your first name Tatiana t a t a t i a n n a it's two yep a n n a yeah okay what's your middle name and Sir what is your first name oh Frank what's your middle name John j o h n what's your birthday from Mississippi like a state ID at all never prison ever just came appear visit okay what's your phone number that all address with this is in the state of Wisconsin they're allowed to use what's reasonable Force to stop shoplifting yeah people off all the time because a person is grating on you that is not law enforcement so yeah right that's what I'm saying he had to grabing when my partner comes I'll maybe flipflop and talk to them and have them stay with you while we figure that part out as part of the investigation the officer questions both suspects about their backgrounds and whether they've sought treatment for substance or Al all issues you guys attempted to leave today without paying for anything but you gave it back to them yeah I gave it to them okay what was it to it was about H okay so my second question is is there alcohol consumption wise resources that we can offer you yeah I do have a problem problem or alcohol yeah okay are you more dependent on alcohol or is it just no okay have you had treatment in the past yeah okay yeah what about you oh I've been treatment before okay are you clean yeah oh nothing hard I got I got pink ass both my eyes now okay um did they touch you he to grab him off pulling my arm like this so when she when he shot her down he would let me get up I'm like come I stand up and put my shoes on cuz happens I have to have that same conversation of they're allowed to use reasonable Force but at the same time incling understand when somebody is GRA on you that's not us reasonable Authority do you think that you have I have no problem explain that they can use reasonable not there where is your child okay 33 go ahead shortly after a backup officer arrives giving the female officer the opportunity to collect further evidence and take the statement of the store staff do you if there's any type of PC or for do you mind hanging out with them I mean I think probably were we physically fighting with the FL what's going on were grab they was up there grabbing us like I I didn't physically hit nobody I was just trying to get away that's it we got pictures of them on our all okay [Music] can you f it in on okay so they've they've hit this location three times okay they stoen last time they stole four bottles of Hennessy and some beer okay bled out similar to what they did she had a purse put on purse walked out without paying for anything I stopped her here we had both the doors locked cuz we didn't want them to go out and I had notified that there was a St in progress since they've been multiple times and they've been wanted so okay called ahead but I stopped her identifi myself as last prevention then he talked to her about some unpaid merchandise she may had on her and other incidents that have occurred recently um I told her I wanted to see what if she had any liquor inside her backpack she made it she handed me these two bottles yep peny um I told them they were on rest for shocate and they weren't free to leave mhm um they opened they unlocked that door and kind of pushing on a it I grabbed grabbed her arm had to bring her back into the I want to bring them back in the office instead of in the middle of the entrance exit way they continue pushing resisting um and up but they for the most part ended up like pushing the rail out they didn't swing back or anything no they didn't swing they were just trying to get away they weren't trying to hurt me or they just wanted to get away so they didn't they weren't aggressive they just trying to get away but they were resisting most with six prior incidents at this very St door it's clear that the suspects have no intention of stopping so one it I have the case numbers for all them in my office but this is one of the ones that recurred that there was PC for them for those ones to they haven't been handled or dealt with at all NOP they've they've been looking for they've hit the West Lo Super One liquor Keyport they've been five or six incidences just from our records okay with the same car same people same descriptions okay has he taken anything or has it been her he came in Once by himself and took some things I can't remember what exactly was but every other time he's been with her okay so and there's all those different incidences yeah okay I have a complete list in my office over in the grocery store but okay let I'll deal with them and then I'll how I ear your here till 9 okay um I we I think we I would ask if you would check in your bag cuz we're missing two bottles of Hennessy I can pull it up right now you want me to yeah you want to do that okay you guys have a car here okay 4 I'll look at it after hearing from store employees the officer explains the legal consequences they now face their reaction is something you won't see coming okay so from what he has said there from what I've understood westo super one key for here and this Super One have all have incidences with you guys regarding theft super one the one D is super it is by the in West anyway regardless of it there's three shopliftings that are involved here one only here me here so long time I came over he said there might be one where you were by yourself as well I bought some beer something oh okay so despite that fact of the matter that you guys are both under arrest for that you have to pick up a child so what we will do is be able to make it a little bit more seamless so that you can go get child but for the time being for those ones you guys are both under us um do you have you're staying at in Minnesota no okay his officers detained the female suspect her reasoning and attitude toward them will leave you shaking your head however the officers wasted no time shutting down her arguments and reminding her who was in control he has pink eye on both eyes do you mind handcuffing her and dealing with her stuff why got to be a handcuffed cuz you're both under arrest love what I have learned with the jail yes and because she has a child that she has to pick up that I'm not going to particularly deal with them staying about car huh what about a car um since you have been fine and Cooperative I would petition to do a book and release for you and bring you back to the vehicle thank you get the keys from her from I will we're we're both going the same place okay thank you do you have the ability to pick up the child if she decides to continuously act this way I hope I hope she don't act this way so she can go over there and get him cuz he listen to her more state ID despite cooperating the male suspect finds himself in trouble once again after the officer finds out that he gave them a fake name my name is Franklin Franklin okay M Franklin Clyde Jones why' you li I got a warrant where in Minnesota somewhere well Wisconsin is probably not even that oh John Jones Jones mhm is it out of do you have an idea out of Minnesota mhm same birthday mhm no 51581 you are background check confirms that the female suspect has an outstanding warrant from Lacrosse County for failing to appear as for the male suspect he has active warrants in both Ramsey and Dakota counties arrested them for all the shopliftings that we have documented so I think there was two with you one with Keyport three with mine today mhm so they all had shopliftings on there both of them have warrants from various places and then the resist obstruct so they're not leaving anytime soon well if they do they're going to go back to their respective counties yeah so I was planning I can I can compile all three of the ones from Wisconsin for and send it to you yep um and then I'll probably just have contact Luth and have them uh find them at the jail yeah however they I don't know how I'm not sure how they're going to do it not a not a clue but yeah I can get all three of these compiled in the one like one ad them all the one rep and it off to you yeah if you want to do that and then I can just dissect it and it'll all get put under one Mass case number cuz I can go through each report and be like 231 here 22096 but when it comes to the evidence it's just all going in one cuz they're all connected okay um so we're not going to be able to do the book and release because of the warrant so before they uh take your phone let's have them let you pull the numbers out so you can call people to pick up the kids uh 51 you know where that warrant for Tatiana is from we're just going to go straight in because she already the male suspect faced five counts of retail theft and was ultimately found guilty on two he was sentenced to 90 days in jail and ordered to pay a joint restitution of $940 additionally he was extradited back to Minnesota the female suspect had a lengthier w sheet including five counts of retail theft five misdemeanor counts of bail jumping and resisting and obstructing an officer she was found guilty on one count of retail theft and one count of bail jumping leading to a 160 day local jail sentence and a shared $940 restitution order with a male suspect number three man messes with a wrong cops this case takes us to Little Rock Arkansas where officers respond to a shoplifting report at a local grocery store watch what happens when the officer arrives on the scene you yeah I call you there he did you call us yeah okay he walked down there I tell me tell me what happened okay it was a gentleman in the store L his b right here uhhuh this gentleman here went to go tell him somebody was going to pay for his food okay but he couldn't find him so he just walked out okay so I was trying to stop it I kept in front of he said I got a gun did he show you a gun yeah he pulled it out pointed it oh what's your last name Michael Hatton 94 [Music] Louis he did point a gun at my Victim not long after officers located an individual matching the given description of the suspect just a few blocks away 97 with he's running he's wrestling with him on the ground here R your belly get out your belly get out your belly right here bro my hand ain't in my pocket no man I got the I got the gun I got the gun roll over roll over roll over roll over good catch py good catch you didn't even catch me I SL R you would have never caught me if I would have ran a that's not you would have never caught me she in custody man you ain't supposed to do that bro what's that what are you doing clapping his hand or something I'm making sure he's okay bro you can't do that bro what do you mean check on my partner man whatever bro you going come congratulate SL me down too for me slipping on the ground cuz he didn't slam me that's okay me slipping down on the ground it's all right uh just hold on to all this we'll get it you can clear the net he's in custody yep the other night want to call no his we fa no he got it we got it already you're good ready yes yes the search of the suspect turns up more than stolen goods a can of pepper spray and a firearm are also found 8049 no other weapons in there that's cool man I got to make sure you want to run on me with a fist huh you wanty to run on me with a pistol in your hand I didn't have no pistol in my hand pistol your hand pistol in your shirt it was in my shirt jacket shirt however however you want to call it well I'm allow I'm going put back in my car8 yeah you might want to double check them make sure they're double locked and stuff uh not really I take got the wallet out all right the gun have one bullet it came back clean yep um he pointed at guy after he walked out with his with groceries so I'll go over there and get him MH and take him to do and we'll kind of go from there back to back all weekend yeah yes yep um I'll call him you handle that I'll call him and tell him [Music] yes with these findings officers proceed to transport the suspect to the station [Applause] you're not supposed to touch the you're not supposed to touch the uh you're not supposed to touch the customer you're not supposed to stun gun the customer to Doone [Applause] of touch the items going touch the person so that alone him trying to put himself in danger will cause you get fired and locked [Applause] up when somebody steal from me it's okay it's okay for people to steal from me that's weird weird y ain't nothing about ITX 92 the suspect was later charged with aggravated robbery theft and fleeing arrest number two when you're not as sneaky as you think this time in skoki Illinois officers respond to a Macy's after a woman attempts to bypass All Points of sale with a staggering $2,000 worth of concealed merchandise here's what happened how's it going guys so that's pretty much we had a shop with things okay uh picked her up we have body cams I'm supposed to tell everybody we body cams we have body cameras okay all right so we have a total okay toal is $ 2,4 worth 34 okay this was the merchandise was jewelry okay and then clothes and purses comprehensive list of the stolen items and provided a detailed account of what happened before the officer's arrival so I originally picked her up at 11:45 I was just watching her on cameras okay and then I saw her go to the Dress uh department at 11:53 started selecting dresses at a rapid rate um then at that point I let uh Cindy over here and all to watch on the S floor as well because of her behaviors okay and she was able to get selection on of a brown coat okay and uh you know she tried on she actually had a black coat which she left upstairs uh ultimately walking out with that one okay uh but um then at 12 12 she uh went into the fitting room we had a uh sore associate make sure that there was no merchandise in that fitting room uh before she went in there and then at 12:20 she was out of the fitting room but she was still browsing when she selected uh two hats was this one this one okay and then she uh went back into the fting room uh at 1232 at 12:38 she came out of the fing room she had the the brown cold on she no longer had any merchandise in her hand when she Cy s the fting room she only found three dresses and then all the other like we had was missing so we were good to go uh toer and she started before she went out uh before she exited the building at 12:39 she began selecting uh bunch of purses okay and then uh at 12:45 we could see her on camera and on the for concealing them into her book bag and her suitcase okay and then at 12:49 she exited from our West doors and that's when we approached her and she's been uh Cooperative to se time okay with all the necessary information gathered the officer concludes the investigation and places the suspect under arrest and then uh here she admitted to steal these pieces of jewelry as well okay you guys didn't see that original yeah okay okay but it's your stuff y okay all right um supposedly they have a female coming down to do the search for me so uh but I'm going to do the basic stuff here um you
