Listen as the restaurant owner explains what led to the call. What happened tonight? So, this woman came in. I saw her right away. She was here about a month ago. It was a problem a month ago. Um she wouldn't leave. Uh she was acting very crazy. She was going up to our tables, dancing in front of the women's the other wives' husbands, shaking her stuff, and just acting crazy with her hands. And And every time I tried to approach her, she would not listen to me. And then I would tell her, "I think you should go because we wouldn't serve her." And then I asked her if she wanted to eat. "No, I just want to drink. I just want to drink." You know, and she'd yell at me. So, I told her, "You need to leave." a month ago. And she was being disruptive? Totally disruptive to the whole restaurant. So, I did call the police about a month ago, but she left. She ran out of here cuz somebody told her that the police were coming, so she left. same lady? Same exact lady. All of my staff knew. They're all, "Oh my god, Jill, look who's back tonight." So, I just kind of watched her. She got a beer from one of my girls, and one of the girls, her name is um Katie, said, "My god, that lady is the meanest lady." I'm like, "What is she doing?" She's like, "She's giving me exact change, and she's going to sit there. She's not going to, you know, eat anything. She just wants a beer." So, she had two beers, two Stella Artois. I said, "That's it. She's acting crazy." She was ruffling her hair, taking her clothes off, changing her clothes while she was sitting there, standing there, going through her bag, taking lipstick, putting lipstick on, taking a pillow out of her bag, stuffing it on her face, and blotting her lipstick with this pillow. And she was just acting very strange. Did she get naked or anything like that, or expose herself? They just said they she um the last couple of the night at the other end said she pulled her pants down, and they just like asked for their tab. And I said, "I'm so sorry." And they said, "She just exposed herself." They said, "We're out of here. This is crazy. We come here all the time." I'm like, "I'm so sorry." And they're like, "You should call the police now." So, I did call the police because I've been trying to deal with her all night, and I've asked her probably 10 times tonight, "You should leave. I want you to leave now. Leave." And just She just came up to me and said, "You're like behind me all the time." I'm like, "You need to leave." And then she called me a mosquito. "You're like a mosquito. You're a little pest." I'm like, "I'm not a little pest." While the woman primarily spoke Spanish, she clearly understood enough English. The restaurant owner confirmed that she had been given ample opportunities to leave, even bringing in a Spanish speaker to translate. And I want you to leave. You're disruptive to all my people that are dining that are paying for nice, expensive meals and their drinks, and now you won't leave. How many times did you you think you asked her to leave? Um she moved about 10 times to 10 different seats. In the restaurant? Uh-huh. Yep, she kept moving around. So, you would ask her then she moved to another table? Yep, and she kept moving and moving and moving. And then Did she understand that you asked her to move to leave the to leave the restaurant? She acted like she didn't understand, so I brought one of my Spanish-speaking employees out, and they they spoke to her, and he told her, "You need to leave. You need to leave. She will call the police if you don't leave." And she goes, "Call all the police. Call all the police." How many times did you Yes. Yeah, she didn't care. She doesn't care. No, she She's not right. So. Okay, so then uh looks like she brought some Somebody brought her a couple of ice, and she proceeded to Right when you pulled up, she asked for a cup of ice. And then when I walked back with you, she had a drink. So, she's been pouring her own drinks all night. Somebody told me that they saw her with a brown bag with vodka, like a little clear bottle, and she was drinking it. Cuz we wouldn't give her anything. Cuz I I thought something was wrong with her. I thought she was on or something. Yeah. So, I just didn't want to give her anything else to escalate her, but she was already, as you could see. Well, at this point, she's going to be trespassed. You want her to be trespassed. Absolutely. arrested for trespassing as it is cuz she refused to leave Please. when you asked her and when I asked her as well. And he spoke in Spanish to her, so it's not like she couldn't understand. perfect English. She's talking to me in English, and Mhm. But she wouldn't to me. She kept arguing with me, but she would, you know, say, "Oh, no, no, no." And then then she then she'd give me a little bit of English. Yeah. And I was just like, "Do you understand what I'm saying?" And I'm like, "You don't? Let me go get somebody." So, I went and got one of my guys. I said, "Please tell her she needs to leave now. We're done. We're not doing this all night." Cuz the last time I dealt with her, it was crazy. It was the same charade. Everybody was watching. Everybody was talking because she was acting nuts. Okay. Now here, the restaurant owner discloses one final piece of what happened prior to the officer's arrival. Anything else that you'd like to include on this statement? I just don't want her back here, please. mention what what what body parts that she exposed to Her bottom. She She took her pants down. Okay. Over at the table. Lost customers to leave cuz of that? Yep, they said they would have ate more sushi, but they left because the woman was really upset. Yeah. Okay. All right. The suspect was charged with trespassing and resisting without violence. She was sentenced to 1 year of probation, but just 2 months later, she violated it and was subsequently sentenced to 120 days in jail. Number four. When a fun night out ends with arrest, up next, officers in this video were called to a local bar after a group began a fight inside the establishment. When they were kicked out, they continued to squabble outside. Here's the chaotic situation the officers find WHEN THEY ARRIVE. [Applause] [Applause] THE OFFICERS' INSTRUCTIONS WERE CLEAR. Disperse and go home. But one woman decides to take things too far. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] While the woman wasn't involved in the fight itself, her behavior toward the officers landed her in handcuffs. Yeah, but when the cops when we when we show up, you got to be calm with us. It's the only way we're going to know. If you If you're going to be angry and aggressive, we can't do anything. Well, be calm with us and show us that we can do this, all right? Listen, hey, y'all have a good okay? I'm sorry. Y'all good, man? What time? Y'all good, brother? Yeah, I got her, man. Yeah, the two people that are still on the fight they ain't even here. They ain't even here, right? That's what I'm saying. That was costly. That was stupid cuz the she was just she ended up getting costly for for getting aggressive with police. I need my inhaler. Are you going to look at I need one for the officer cuz they do not Fire department's coming. I'm going to give you a winning ticket of your own. You good, ma'am? I have plenty of it. That's good. inhaler Huh? inhaler I got it right here. Oh, no. No, it's not how it works. All units who are 10-15, the friends here they don't know where it is. Where's your inhaler at? Do you know where your inhaler is at? In my purse in my bag in the car. [Music] I can't breathe. Okay, listen. In through your nose, out through your mouth. Try to calm down. They're coming. I'm going to get you out of here. Now the officers wait for responders to arrive before escorting the woman to the station. Wow. This is really good. No, she ain't. She came real close to me. No, she was in my face. Yeah. All right, so yo, what do you call her? You gave her every chance to walk away, she didn't. She kept screaming and causing a disturbance in the neighborhood. All right, officer. I'm just going to have you sign a sheet. She doesn't want to go to the hospital. So, I'm just going to have you sign a sheet cuz of the hiccups or you going to get a hiccup or inside either one? I'll just sign. All right. Last name? Uh Delorey. D E L O R D E L O R No, D E L Oh, D E L O R B as in boy E So, I'll give you that. white boxes Yeah, you can go right ahead. All right, ma'am. Like I said, just keep focusing on that breathing and slowing that down. You're doing a great job, okay? And we're going to leave you with the officer here, okay? I hope you feel better. Yes, ma'am. All right, thanks, guys. No. No, thank you. The woman was ultimately charged with disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence. Number three, dine and dash gone wrong. It's a frustrating scenario for restaurants. Customers enjoying a meal with no intention of paying. That's exactly what happened here as officers were called when a group refused to settle their bill and started a confrontation. Watch as officers intervene. Fairview 13 radio copy 10-7. Fairview 13 radio copy 10-7. Yeah. Yeah. It's a fight inside of my restaurant right now. Like 10 people fighting right now. Okay. Radio, cancel that traffic stop. We got people fighting inside of Los Mariachis. Send send units over to Los Mariachis on Ella Lane. We got folks fighting in here. Sorry. So, hey. Sorry, you're good to go. There's a fight. Sorry. [Music] They haven't They haven't paid me all the bill all the day. All right, so everybody who was fighting has left? Yeah? Okay, but they were all fighting? Yeah. All of them left. All right, so there's there's nobody left in here that's fighting. Those people were right here anyways. They were eating and they paid for it. Okay. So, who Say say that again, huh? It was this whole section over here. This whole section? So, have they paid their bill? No, no, they haven't. They haven't? They're right there walking out right now. All of them. All of them? All of them went there walking out right now. All right, so the ones that are walking out right now did not pay their bill. Hold on one second. Hold on. As the group moves in and out of the restaurant, it becomes nearly impossible to identify the dine and dashers. To make things worse, another altercation is unfolding outside. Stop it. STOP IT. STOP IT. GET HER. GET HER. GET HER. GET HER IN THAT CAR. IF YOU DON'T GET OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW, I'M GOING TO START LOCKING PEOPLE UP. What does ANYBODY WANT TO DO? [Music] IF EVERYBODY DOESN'T CHILL, I'M GOING TO START PUTTING HANDCUFFS ON PEOPLE AND I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE OUTCOME. YEAH, I KNOW. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. WE'RE JUST TRYING TO STOP THE FIGHTING. [Music] WHAT? Everybody that's fighting has le- has kind of gotten outside now. It's a bunch of Yeah, yeah, but but it's uh there's a lot of them that haven't [Music] Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm good. There's a bunch of people screaming out here in the parking lot. Everything's slowing down now. I'm trying to figure it all out. Just as the situation is starting to calm down, one bold move from one of the suspects escalates things further. Excuse me? She can't get out. Open the door. Go get her. Watch out. [Music] Fairview 13 radio copy 10-87. [Music] [Applause] This person tried to run me in 25 over in the parking lot. Tom Charles Charles 3194. We're on Oakley going towards Spence now. I would love to to dap you up, but I think, man, I got a swollen uh thing now. swollen uh thing. You see that on the side of her car? Yeah, I see it. That's that's from us trying to punch her to get her to stop and kick her to get her to stop. I punched that one to try to break it out. I'm like over the hood and everybody's screaming at her to stop and everything. Yeah. She hit both of us. Oh. So, now she's got a Now she's got a felony attempt on a police officer charge. Hang it up. Yep. Fairview 13 to 21, are you coming out here? She's in the middle. We got hands full of money. I got you. Never mind. Don't worry about it. Yeah. Yeah, I was out there counting with them. I had to stop and write down everything down that I was counting. I got you. Hey man. Hey, I'm not going to be able to come out there. I got like 10,000 I got to call. No, I got you. No, I was just telling you that uh This girl tried to run us over in the parking lot, me and Braxton. And uh she has a dent in her car that we put in it. Because we were trying to kick the car to try to get it to stop. And uh so there's a dent in the car. The week called, but uh she's under arrest right now for agg assault on a police officer along with fleeing and reckless driving and all that kind of stuff. Okay. So good. What you got to do? Okay. All right. I will the car is going to uh A plus. So yeah. Yeah, I got you. Make sure you do it uh When you do the report, do the impound sheet. Yeah. Um you don't have to give them the impound sheet. Just make sure it get done. Okay. Yeah, yeah, I'm clear. All right. All right, appreciate it, man. Okay. With the brawl becoming the officer's priority, the restaurant staff is left dealing with a real problem, several unpaid tabs from the group. So many they can call them and they're just like Some of them are okay cuz some of them they they told them to leave. Got you. Hey, what's going on? Hey. What's going on? Why are we getting reports of fighting? Um We don't know. You were just up here. I know I was just up here. So are you receiving this? No, no. I'm just Look, look, I wasn't here, so I didn't see what happened. So I'm trying to find out what's going on. invited to a gathering. Uh-huh. We don't know what happened. We don't know what's going on. no physical fight out here in the parking lot? All we know is we paid our tickets. Uh-huh. I I'll show you my ticket. I paid my $154. Well, she didn't say anything about paying, right? Is that correct? There was a There was a report of a fight. Yeah, but That broke out after after the incident with the other two officers. The after, correct? The one after? They start fighting first and then he tried to fight us back. incident? Yeah, he tried Oh, okay. The officer tried to fight us back. You want to fight after we left? They don't pay? Okay, I'm just trying to understand because I wasn't here, you understand? Yeah, I'm not I wasn't present, so I'm not I'm not present. I can't Yeah, what happened inside? were involved in them fighting? No, I paid her the ticket. I paid my $154 and whatever seat it was. Okay. Whatever Didn't it happen on the outside? Whatever happened, the police went out there. I don't got nothing to do with it. I paid my food. Okay. All right. The problem is that some of them told them to leave. second, okay? They was like, "Leave, leave." Hold on. I I I didn't I didn't tell nobody to My brother need to tell them they need to come back. You got to hold on. I don't got nothing Do I mean nuts? All right, so give me one second, okay? Look, give me one second. Let me talk to them real quick, okay? Look, just give me a second, all right? The waitress does her best to stress the issue of the unpaid bills, but the officer, distracted by the tension, misplaces their focus yet again. It's probably continuation of the same incident, so it says She was calling because of the fight that uproared out here, and it was the same fight. Oh. She thinks that that they this car this group of this lady here and this gentleman here were involved in it. But we don't have any witnesses other than of course she's saying, but anyways, but I got nothing other than that. Hold on. Huh? Yeah, that's what I'm about to [Music] Give me Give me one second, okay? Just give me one second. Just bear with me. Just bear with me, all right? I paid my ticket. So I just got to I ain't got nothing to do with no I got you. But you also got to understand too when we get a call though, we still have to investigate if someone points somebody out and say, "Hey, this person was involved." Do you understand what I'm saying though? Yeah. I don't have anything to do with whatever Okay, well she said nothing about paying. She said about there was being a physical fight. to tell you. I don't have anything to do with a physical fight. I got you. Ma'am, I don't know. I wasn't here. I mean I thought you were sitting in the dark too on top of that. I don't have anything to do with what went on. Okay. That's only reason I'm stopping you. Just trying to figure out what's going on cuz she pointed this car and the people who occupy this He pointed us out. I know, but it don't even matter cuz we can't have nobody else's ticket. We paid our ticket. Yeah, there was no issue. I'm going to cut them loose. Cuz I don't have anything else to to hold them. Give me one second, okay? I'm going to cut them loose, man. I don't have anything You're good. Hey. Hold on one second. Just give me one second, okay? I'm going to cut you guys loose as soon as we get a chance. Yeah, you can look at the camera, whatever you want to Okay, I got you. My man even even Tried to help out. Tried to stop the fight. She said uh she said that I was with her. Didn't pay tab? What's with her? Okay, so that's not that's not that's not That's not what we were initially was told. Oh, well she said that. She said Well, I can't force them to pay for somebody that By the time the officer understands the real issue, the majority of the group is already left, forcing them to release the remaining customers who had settled their bills. So I got you. So it's a dine and dash, is all it is. Hey, sir. [Music] Relax, man. What about the I got you. Ain't nobody in cuffs right now, okay? Yeah, they had they had somebody dine and dash. So Somebody dine and dash, I don't know who it is. They think They think Yeah, we already They ran after whoever they looking for. We paid OUR BILL. YOU CAN'T do nothing else to me. Okay. Hey, sir. Relax, man. What about I got you. Ain't nobody in cuffs right now, okay? So Somebody dine and dash. Yeah, yeah, we already They ran after whoever they looking for. The group left the restaurant without settling a nearly $500 tab. We paid our bill. You can't do nothing else to me. Okay. Uh I got Look, man, I got nothing to hold them now. I got nothing to hold them. I can't make them pay for somebody else. Yeah, okay. Look. Look, you guys are free to go. Thank you for being cooperative with me, okay? That's why I'm mad cuz how you going to tell somebody that don't pay? How you going to tell somebody to go Yeah, but I still can't hold them if they're not I got you. I got you. That's understandable. That's understandable. I got you. I understand you're a proprietor of the business and you want to be paid for the service that you rendered, right? I got it. I'm tracking with you. But there's certain legalities. I can't just hold somebody if they're not involved. Now, they might have said something, "Hey, just drive off." Okay, but I don't have anything else if not the ones responsible for the bill. The officer once again misunderstands the waitress's concern. She was trying to address the fact that the responding officer told the group to leave at the very start of the incident, making it impossible to track them down. responsible for the bill. Who was the individual was responsible? Do we know what that person looks like? Who was responsible for the bill? Who was supposed to be paying the bill? All of them, they was paying separately. They're all paying separately. But nobody in that car Everybody in that car paid, right? So everybody in that car is already paid and good to go. So I had to let them go, okay? But as far as these four individual bills, we have four different subjects that are that have taken money or taken food and did not pay, correct? I just want to make sure I understand. That's all I'm trying to do. Just trying to gather the information, okay? Uh you were the one that called? Yeah. Okay, so whoever is called, I need whoever that person is ID, okay? So I can add to the report as the complainant. So from my understanding four people didn't pay their bill. That's what it is. And they thought they were involved cuz they told them, "Hey, just drive off." The The ladies in the car supposedly told them I said, "Well, ma'am, I that might be the case, but who's responsible for the bill? Who's responsible for the bill?" Um so, those I said, "Well, is the people in the car responsible for the bill?" No, I can't It's not I can't let him go. It's not something I can detain him for. I can't make them Yeah. Pay somebody else's bill. And especially they say they don't know who that they is. Yeah, so whoever was responsible for the bill is no longer here. She said it was like two girls and a guy or something. But uh we don't have anything other than this. So, it's just Huh? No, I didn't hear I didn't hear it. So, it's just a dine and dash. It's like four four bills four individuals that didn't pay their freaking bill. So. Man, you're telling. No, it's not me. Yes, it is. I'm not no magnet. You're telling. No, it's not me. Yes, it is. I'm not no magnet. No, I'm a magnet if I'm eating food. Every time I eat food I get a call ev- without fail without fail. That's why I always always yells at me when I say I'm going to go eat. And she was like, "So, somebody still asked you for the code." And I was like, "No, that's not how it work. Every time I come here, somebody asked me for the code and boom we go on with the day. What do you want from me? To go home. That's what needs to happen. OKAY. SO, I'LL WALK AWAY FROM THE PROPERTY. Then walk away. We don't have your car. So, I just walk away? Yes, go home. Without my car? Yes. Yes. Give me my car. I'm not leaving. If you're not leaving, you're going to get arrested. So. So So, let one of them take you home. Let's go to their patrol car so they can take you home. So, one of them are going to take you home. All right. I just want to figure out where I am. You can have a cigarette Will you let me have one? At your house. I don't have a house. You just gave us an You gave us an address. No, I do not live there. Where do you live?
