In the end, the young man didn't just walk away with a traffic citation for riding without lights, but he also earned himself a charge for resisting arrest. Number four, duo got caught stealing and tried begging their way out. In our next case, police are dispatched to a J C Penney in Florida after the store's lost prevention officers caught two women shoplifting. Officers arrived to find both suspects already in the store's back office. And with that, they waste no time confronting both women. >> I was like, you're already in here. All right. So, they both selected stuff, took hangers off of stuff, hid the hangers throughout the store. Um, I was on top of them the whole time cuz it's slow, so it was easy. >> So, they're not here? >> No, they're in here right now. They're in the holding room. I tell you what was going on before. >> Gotcha. Gotcha. >> Okay. >> So, I just wanted to do that before. >> How much? Uh, it was almost $500 together. >> Okay. >> I got a receipt over there for you guys. >> Okay. >> And one doesn't speak English that well, but the other girl does. And I also have somebody in there on our end that speaks English. >> Okay. Perfect. >> Thank you. >> Hi. >> Hi. >> Do we have IDs on us? >> No. >> No. No. >> No. Nothing. Okay. All right, I got to read this to you guys, okay? Before we talk about anything, just listen, okay? >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. Do you understand each of these rights so I've explained them to you? He'll he'll read it to us, but for you, do you understand each of these rights? Have I read them to you? >> Yeah. Okay. Okay. [Music] >> She doesn't want to talk. So 10 time. >> Okay. All right. >> At first, everything seems under control, but when officers try to put the cuffs on, the situation takes a turn. I'll >> have you stand up over here. >> Yeah. Come on. >> You got to stand up. No, that's how it's We'll do this one ahead of time. >> Stand up. Stand up. >> Stand up. Come on. Don't think this hard. Let her go. You stand up. Stand up. Stand up or you're going to get a resisting charge. >> A resisting charge. >> Stand up. >> Stand up. >> Come on. We're not going to continue this. >> Nope. Nope. Nope. >> Come on. I'm not I'm not >> Come here. >> Come on. >> What? >> Stop. >> Stop. Come on. Why? Why? Why you do this to me? Why? >> No. Please. No. Please. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. Please [Music] not please. Please stop. Stop. >> You got me. Sit down. Sit down now. >> You need to stop. >> Stop resisting. >> Stop resisting. This can go a lot easier. >> What should have been a straightforward arrest quickly turns into a struggle. Both suspects refuse to cooperate, each hoping they might avoid the inevitable. Baby, [Music] if you're able to no FD, just additional units. No, no, no, no. I'm not sure. I'm not cute. I'm not accused. I'm not accused, sir. You were wet as she steals stuff that you selected as well. >> Put your hand behind your back now. [Music] >> Put your hand behind your back. >> I know. Hold on. >> Hold on. >> Put your hand [Music] I want to wake. Sit down. >> Sit down. >> Yeah. Down. Down. >> Finally, both women are cuffed. And with backup units already on the scene, any further resistance won't get far. Get up. >> Oh my god. >> 21 for one moment. >> Hang on. Where you taking her? >> Where you taking her? >> Cruiser. Where's your cruiser at? >> I don't give a >> Where's your cruiser at? It's on the east side. >> Where's your cruiser at? >> East side. Jesse Penny. Take them both out or they're both going in the car. >> One moment. >> We'll be back for the rest of this. You're going to get secured. >> All right. >> 21. We're moving right at the cruisers. >> Let's go. I take it they weren't searched, right? >> No, >> we just literally got them both. >> You said you're by the east side or the You're parked by the overhang. >> East side. The top. >> We got to go up. >> Got to go up. >> Yeah. >> And over. >> All right. LT, we're going to put him in the cruisers, get a good search on him out there, keep him secure, and then we'll come back and conduct the investigation. >> Other side. >> Say you got to go up, right? Oh, >> duh. >> With a stunt they pulled, four officers are now present, ready to step in if either suspect tries to resist again. I haven't ran that fast in a long time. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> You're driving pretty fast. I was trying to keep up with you and I lost you. >> That's cuz you're in that Tahoe. That is like a boat in water. That's why >> what did he tell you? Is this shoe here? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. That's getting cut off. >> Yeah. >> And my stuff. >> No, don't worry. It's not That was so much harder than it needed to be. >> All right. >> Yeah. >> Can you come here and search her? >> We're past that now. >> Have her search real quick. >> Now, we could have just gone home, but we're past that. [Music] Just take your time. Take your time. Get a good search. >> Finally, officers search both suspects before transporting them to the station. >> Huh? >> You hurt? pad. >> I got it. >> Did you get a good search on her? >> Get a good search on her, [Applause] >> please. A little more. >> Appreciate it. >> Well, you did that to yourself, but we can talk about it. Step out. >> No. >> Spread your feet apart. [Music] >> She's good. Ultimately, both women faced charges of petty theft and resisting without violence. Number three, teenager acted out so badly even the shelter wanted her gone. On February 16th, 2023, officers in Ohio were called to a homeless shelter after staff reported a woman who had been acting disruptively and disrespectfully. Here's what happened when the police arrived. >> Alexis Farah You hit on scene. 114A. Dispatch, myself and 18 on scene, please. >> 114. >> Yeah. Is that traffic driver come out? >> 22. What is going on my radio? >> I'm doing well. How are you? >> Oh, okay. You just told me. >> H. >> You told me that. Okay. >> How you doing, man? How you doing? >> Damn. He ain't he already knew your name. >> I already know. They came down last night. >> Why? >> Because you're going to come outside. Put your stuff down. >> Not a big deal. >> You guys could just help me, you know. >> Okay, that's fine. >> He already knew your name and everything. >> I'm not doing anything. The woman insists she didn't do anything wrong, but with statements from the staff and active warrants, it's hard to take her word. >> She ain't going to jail. She said she ain't going back. >> I'm going to fight you guys. >> Really? >> I appreciate that. >> You're arresting me. >> Well, you have a warrant. >> That makes no sense. >> I did nothing. >> I did nothing. >> You want to go to the ground? >> I did nothing. You know >> want to go to the ground. >> I did nothing. >> Come on. >> Stop. >> You know I did nothing. >> Stop. >> Quit. >> Let me go. I did nothing. >> Stop. Stop. Skeleton. >> I did nothing. >> Just give her a second. >> Stop resisting. Stop. >> Hey, stop resisting. >> Wait. Alexis. Alexis. Stop. Okay. It's just not going to work. Okay. Stop listening. >> You did nothing. >> Just stop. You did a wrist on me. >> I literally have nowhere to stay. >> I literally have nowhere to stay. >> All right. >> And I've already been to jail once. >> Just give me the hand. No, >> Alexis. >> Alexa, stop. >> That's fine. >> Too big. >> Get a purchase on her arm. >> All right, we're going to stand you up. >> Low on this side. >> There you go. >> Why are you guys being so hard? >> Sit up on your butt. >> Sit up on your butt. >> You are sit up on your butt for no reason. You're being you're being >> stand up for me. 1 2 3. >> At this point, she's only making things worse for herself. After repeated issues with shelter staff, she's now trespassed from the property for a year. And if she keeps this up, a trespass might not be the only consequence she walks away with. >> Carry you out. >> Use your leg. >> You guys are arresting me for no reason. >> Are you going to make us carry you out? >> Would you like hobbled and carry out? >> Why are you guys even arresting me? Listen to me. >> I did nothing. >> Alexis, listen to me. We just fought with you on the ground. >> I already just pissed me for a year. >> Okay. Well, let's figure it out outside instead of making a scene in here in front of all these nice people. >> You guys are just going to take me to jail. >> Well, you said you wanted somewhere to sleep. >> I don't want to sleep there. >> You can just take me to my friend's house. >> All right. Come on. >> You can't just take me to my friend's house. I'll think about it if you get up. >> No, you won't. I know you won't. >> You're right. I won't. You need to get up and come on. >> No, you you are not arresting me. >> Would you like a whole another charge? >> I did nothing. >> We're going to have to carry you out. >> I literally did nothing wrong. >> Okay. Well, if you did nothing, stand up and walk out here. >> Going to carry her out. >> You're just going to arrest me anyway for no reason. >> Can we borrow one of these wheelchairs? [Music] >> 188. Dispatch, can I have a single They're not going to be out. >> No. Hurry up. >> They're not going to be out. >> They're just going to arrest me. >> Right. >> 113. >> You're still going to arrest me, right? >> What? >> I'm not going to lie to you. So, let's just go. >> No. >> Let's go like an adult. >> No. Oh, yeah. >> I'll do the instruction. >> You guys are arresting me for No. Now, now your last arrest for official business because you refuse to get up, stand up, and walk out on your own. >> Okay, listen to me. This is your last This is your last opportunity. I'm going to drag you out. Let's go. >> No. >> No. >> No. >> Even with everything that's happened, the woman refuses to cooperate with transport. Now officers are left managing one more outburst. >> No, >> you guys are, you know, you guys are arresting me for no reason. >> Assault RP. >> It wasn't assault. I just bumped her. >> Conduct obstructing official business. >> That's got to hurt your hands. Come on. >> All right, let's just chill out. Yeah, I don't know. That way I'm white. All the way. >> You guys are arresting me for no reason. You know, >> right? >> What? >> You guys are arresting me for no reason. >> Now you're just being a child. You're sitting on the floor crying. >> Because you guys >> Because you hit your parole officer. >> I didn't. >> I treated you with respect in there. >> I didn't hit her. I bumped her. Oh, >> okay. I don't care. Then grow up and fight it like an adult instead of throwing like a child. I'm not going back to jail. >> You're throwing a tantrum. >> No, I'm not. >> There's nothing. There's no matter what. >> 3 seconds. >> I'm not going to jail. >> What are you doing? >> You got on the radio when we heard that. >> She's like calling for like promotion. >> Oh, I was just calling for another crew to help. >> You basically carried her out already. She She >> I did nothing. >> She did nothing wrong. >> Okay. Well, if they want you gone, you still got to go. >> I know. That's why I am want to get to my friend's house. >> No. >> This is This is like This is >> I can fit two fingers in here. I need to >> ma'am. I can fit four fingers in here. >> I I can fit three. >> I can fit three. >> Handcuffs aren't the most comfortable. >> And especially when you're yelling a fight. Well, especially when you fight. >> It's through. Well, maybe there's some probably cuz I have a watch on. >> Oh, I mean that's >> it off real quick. >> No, >> I can't take console off. >> Ow. Ow. And I literally have work tomorrow. >> To her, none of this makes sense. Still convinced she's done nothing wrong, she drops her weight and refuses to move, hoping it'll delay the trip to the station. Do >> not touch me. Oh, no. I left. >> All right. Just hob. >> I'm going to hobble in my car. All right. >> You're going. It's just You're going to make this all worse on. >> It's just embarrassing now. >> Embarrassing. >> Then you're going to be in jail a lot from here on out. >> No, I'm not. >> I literally have work tomorrow. >> And now you're not going to make it cuz you went from going just for the warrant to now trying to kick me. >> I tried, but Assault on the officer. >> Attempt is still a crime. Am I kicking someone's door to break in, but they scare me off? Did I still attempt to break into their home? >> She has a hole. >> She just let go. I did nothing. >> No. moment. >> Now we can't loosen them. >> What the are you doing? >> Get that. >> Okay, we got a little crying up my leg. Is that all you're >> No, don't do that. Can't do that. That counts as a hog tie. We don't have time for policy. >> Okay, we can hold our legs together. Is >> that it? >> Let me stand up. >> Ow. >> You should get underneath there. >> Let me go. I can walk. You know, >> you refuse to do it. >> Are you going to kick him again? >> No. >> She stalled long enough. Now the officers step in and take control. The standoff ends here. too much. >> Let's just carry on like the first. >> No, don't. Let's go. >> They walk. >> I'm trying. Ow. You guys are pushing. >> Just let me go. Please just let me go. I did nothing. >> Watch your head now. >> I don't care. >> Ow. This is too tight. >> It was a long night and it didn't end in her favor. She was banned from the shelter, arrested for her warrants, and hit with new charges, including resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and assault on an officer. Number two, a teenage tantrum that turned into a police report. On December 3rd, 2024, officers responded to a home after reports of a domestic dispute between a teenage girl and her mother. As soon as they arrive, the teen is quick to speak, insisting she's not the one in the wrong. Listen to what she has to say. >> Hello. What's going on? >> My mom's crazy. She like she like threw a TV. >> Where's the lights? >> Oh, I'm so sorry. I'm still in here. The colors don't help. >> She threw your TV. >> Yeah, that's mine. >> How old are you? >> 19. That's my TV. It was $150, but I like my mother. >> Here. >> Oh, hi. >> Yeah. And I was letting her borrow the TV because she broke the current. the one that was out here. >> So, where was the TV? In your room. >> The TV was in my room. I was trying to throw it at her if she's not being honest. >> She threw it across. She threw it across the room though. So, where were you aiming? My room's right there. I was standing right there. Where were you aiming at exactly then? And then >> Stop talking for a second. To start off with, if the TV if you let her use the TV, okay, and she breaks it, that's a civil issue. That's not a criminal issue. Okay. So, you can sue her for the cost of the TV. Now, did it get physical between the two of you? >> She bit me. >> She tried to choke me up against the door. Yeah, you're lying. Cuz you always lie. She tries to make the police. She's not taking her meds. You guys have came out here multiple times. >> I was about to explain. You guys were out here a couple days ago. You can look in the file and see the record. This is consistent. >> I was about to explain the rest of that. She's able to make the police believe that she's some victim of abuse because I was a minor at the time and she was attacking me. The first time the police were ever here. >> I don't have anywhere else to go and I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do. I just graduated. She pushed me through the last table that was here. >> I'm not here for the last table that was here. >> What happened? >> Okay. I'm here for what happened today. >> There's multiple issues, though. And you guys always think I'm the problem. Well, I'm on the lease and she can get out. She needs to be arrested. >> I pay for everything. >> She choked me up against the door. >> That's a bold claim, but the mother's not staying silent. She quickly gives her sign, accusing her daughter of assault. >> She tried to freaking pick up the angel statue and throw it at me. She needs to go to jail. >> Hit her and is frustrating dealing with a bipolar child on jail that spits in your face, bites you, attacks you every other day is something. So is I'm in therapy. I do not have a second. >> Yeah, she bit me. She bit me. She bit me. It's just coming in. >> See, you're on it. >> She bit me. >> Where? >> Here. She bit me. It's not really showing right now. She bit me. >> It's still coming in. It just happened and then scratched me and everything else. I have never put my hands on her. I've >> even the TV she's talking about I paid for. You not pay for it myself. >> Both of you need to stop talking to each other. I'm walking out. You can deal with each other. Okay, we're going to act like grown-ups for a second. >> What's your name? Shush. >> Take her to jail. >> What's your name? >> What's your social, Dakota? >> I don't know. >> Okay, this is the deal. >> You guys are grown-ups. You live together. I know this is your child and I know she may have mental disabilities, >> but unless you're disrespectful. >> She's a liar. >> Disrespect's not against the law. on grass. Glass from the TV she broke and decided she was going to call the police, enter her room, and lock the door. >> You're the only one who called the police. I didn't call the police. >> I called the police cuz she threatened to call the police first, but she choked me up against the door and my >> Did you choke her up against the door? >> No. >> She tries to lie every time. She lies to the police. She's a liar. >> Property and frustration. >> She damages everything. >> Okay. So, listen. Can I Can I talk for a second or do you am I just leaving? Okay. You guys are adults. I know it may be difficult dealing with each other, but you have to get along. >> If it gets physical, >> one or both of you are going to get going to jail. >> She came in the face with a doorstick and no one arrested her. He asked for you. >> Okay, that's last week. >> I literally still have the mark on my arrest. >> Move out. Be an adult. >> With a teen lashing out at her mother, the officer steps in unapologetically calling out her behavior. He has no problem giving her a harsh reality check. >> So are kids who live at home that are supposed to be adults. >> Well, I just useless. You'reless. >> Do something with your life. >> Yeah, go Ashley. Leave. I should have never called you. You are a waste of time. Thank you. >> Okay. Have a nice day. >> Yeah, I will not. I hope you have the worst day. >> I smiled. >> Go yourself, you dumb. You got you guys got to you got to I mean you've been dealing with her for 19 years. So >> she wasn't always she just got diagnosed like a year and a half ago. >> No, I hate you because you're a bad mother who gives all the money and all the attention to your [ __ ] son. Please. >> Her twin brother is autistic and he's in an autism boarding school in Boston. I visit once a month and make sure he's okay. Cognitively, he has the brain of a seven-year-old. She's very evil. >> And she's mad because I told her to get her own voice. >> I thought you didn't want to talk to me anymore. Why are you still here? I can tell I can tell you. I can tell you now. Oh, since she wants to run her mouth, she's mad because I said he can get his own boy porridge because I don't want him to receive any money from my father. Cuz I don't anymore. >> You sound like a seven-year-old. You sound like a whiny seven-year-old. >> Well, he has no relationship with my dad, so why does he need me money? >> Why do you need money? Get your own job. Get your own money. What's the matter with you? Are you Do you not hear yourself? Do you not understand what the real world is like? >> I've applied for multiple jobs. Yes, I understand what world is like. I worked for three years. I know what the real world is. I don't mean Please tell me again. Please tell me again. Please tell me. >> As it turns out, the teen has a list of grievances, claiming she's upset that her mother continues to receive money from her father while she gets nothing. But to the officers, that's no excuse for assault or verbal abuse. >> This unemployed, too. Please tell me. >> Please tell me something. >> He can get his own money. I still don't see my aunt. >> The young woman was later charged with resisting arrest, battery on a law enforcement officer, and domestic violence. Number one, 19-year-old got drunk, got loud, and got arrested. Our last call takes us to a residential neighborhood where officers were called about a teenage girl causing chaos in the area. Here's what the authorities walked into. >> Hello. How are you? >> Good. How are you? What's going on? >> I don't know. I'm I'm sleeping. I have a baby in the house and I hear knocking on the door. Knocking on the door. Knocking on the door. I guess the girl wants to get in touch with my friend who's sleeping. Um driving around here like a maniac. She almost ran over my foot or something. I asked her if she wanted water to calm down. She's banging on the doors. Everybody's coming out to see what's going on. She's not allowed on the property. The homeowner is actually leaving work right now to come here to deal with this. She's sleeping. I guess they hung out last night. She got drunk. She had nowhere to go. She ended up sleeping there. >> Is that her right there? >> Yes. She was supposed to leave, but she's racked her. I I don't know. But I was sleeping. I just had surgery. I'm not even supposed to be out here. But she's being very disruptive. um and like zooming off going around the corner almost hitting a car. She still hasn't left. Um she's mad at her because she thought she left her there sleeping and she was drunk and she woke up and didn't know where she was because she couldn't drive home. So that's kind of what's going on. >> How old is she? >> 19. >> 19. Okay. And do you know this female? >> They used they used to date and she just showed up while she was sleeping and told her, "You can't be here." She wouldn't listen. She kept banging on the door, banging on the door, banging on the door. I said, "I have a baby sleeping in here." I told her that, too. I was like, "Listen, like you know, >> what's her name?" >> Gabby. >> Gabby. Gabriella. >> According to eyewitnesses, the 19-year-old was intoxicated and out of control. For now, however, the officers want to know what she has to say for herself. >> 26. >> Good morning, >> Gabriella. Is that correct? What's going on this morning? >> So, you stop right there. You stop right there. Oh, sorry. I'm They didn't know I looked harmless, but um this is the second time you made me come over here just to Can you not record me? >> I'm not recording you at all. >> Okay. Can you stop pointing the phone at me? Because if you were in a position like this, I wouldn't do it to you. >> Okay. >> Okay. Gabriella, what's going on this morning? >> This is the second time. You told me to drive over and you I live in Miami. I drive here. Huh? >> I woke up in my hang. >> Take a deep breath. Take a deep breath so I can understand what you're saying. >> Okay, slow down. Take a deep breath. >> In my sleep in the neighborhood like you don't do that to people. She lived with me. I would have never [Music] >> Okay, take a deep breath. >> I never left her on the street like that. Now she's talking. I don't understand, bro. I don't understand what I did to you, >> Gabriella. How did we get here this morning? >> I was really hurt. >> When? >> Take a deep breath. Relax. >> No, I can't relax. I need you to take a deep breath so I can understand what you're saying. How did you end up here? >> Did she drive you here? >> Okay. >> Did she drive me here? And now she's calling the cops on me. >> Okay. When did you get here? >> I don't know. Do you know? You were too up. You were I drove you here after you got drunk and you were leaning over in the car and I parked the car and I said, "Gabby, lock the door. I have to go to sleep. I went inside. I couldn't even bring you inside. I got in trouble for how late I got here. I never told you you could come and spend the night." >> So, the two of you went out together last night. >> Okay. So, after you went out last night, what happened? >> I wake up in like >> Okay. Were you guys drinking? We using >> the goal here is simple. Deescalate, get Gabriella somewhere safe and restore peace to the neighborhood. But she won't be making that easy. >> Gabby, >> are you good, bro? >> Gabby, I'm speaking to you. >> Acting all like >> Gabby brand new. >> Gabby. >> Gabby, I don't think you are able to drive. So, if you get behind the wheel of your car, you're going to have a problem. >> What was that? I'm sorry. >> I don't I don't see anything >> on the on the cameras. >> Gabby, stop. >> She's recording. >> That's fine. She's allowed to record. Okay, Gabby, you need us to pull over, please, cuz there's been advice that you crash into mailboxes. >> I didn't. >> Okay. Well, we're going to review the video. So, and I don't think that you're in any condition to be driving. So, I want you to pull over and get out of the car, please. Watch yourself. Watch yourself. [Music] >> Okay, Gabby, step out. >> I'm not going to step out with the No, >> Gabby. Hey, you got a window on >> No, Gabby. Hey, if you don't open if you don't roll this window down, we're going to bust your window. >> Gabby, >> we are we down. >> We're going to break your window. >> The officers can't let her get behind the wheel. And with her combative behavior escalating, the officers are done waiting. Here's where things take a turn for the worse. >> We are about to break your window. >> Is the car in park? Bro, what are you doing? >> Okay. Is the car in park? >> What are you doing? I'm not going to step out. What the is wrong with you people? Bro, >> I'm not stepping out. What the is wrong with you? You're not getting me out. What the is wrong with you? I'm not doing anything. >> Get out of the vehicle. >> I'm not getting out of the vehicle. You're so ugly. Get me out. >> I got it. I got it. I got it. >> I didn't even do anything. >> Stay out of the vehicle. >> Stay out of the vehicle. >> Where you going? >> My phone. >> Yep. >> You guys like this? You get a power trip cuz nobody else in your life makes you feel special. >> Sorry you feel that way. >> Get you over here. >> Nah, I know karma's going to get you, guys. Don't worry. >> It's all right. >> Don't worry. >> Not worried. >> It's going to happen to your daughter. >> Luckily for me. >> Ah, don't you worry. It'll happen to your mother then for this. >> Sure do. >> Yeah. Yeah. I wasn't here. >> Do you have anything on me? >> You start. >> Do you have anything on you that's going to stick? >> I said no. No, you not here. >> Well, you going to jail today. Finish my >> All right. Take me to jail then. >> Okay. Whose car is this? >> Guard her legs, please. >> 32. >> What? >> Oh, what? What? I hope it happens to your daughter. >> I didn't even do anything, bro. I didn't even do anything. >> Which call though? pinned to the ground with several officers holding her down. Gabriella finally gives in. >> Hey, I'm telling you, I'm going to get hit. >> You relax. Get help. >> Do something. Do something else. >> In charge of that, Leo. >> All right. Now, you're going to sit up. Bring your knees to your chest and sit up. >> On the count of three, you're going to stand up. One, two, three. Stand I need my phone, bro. >> I need my phone. Yes, I need my phone. I'm going to grab it for you. [Applause] >> Gabriella was ultimately charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. That's a wrap for today's video.
