On June 24th, 2025, a security guard noticed a woman asleep in the driver's seat of her car. The guard attempted to knock on the window to wake her, but when she did not respond, he called the police. Here is what followed next. >> Oops. >> Hi. Everything all right? >> Yeah. Oh, yes. I'm just waiting here for my boyfriend. >> Oh, okay. Does he does he work here? Cuz they he was trying to knock on your door and you weren't answering. So >> Oh, no. That wasn't him. That's why I didn't answer >> the security guy. >> Yeah. >> Okay. You didn't answer because he wasn't your boyfriend? >> Yes. >> Okay. Where's your boyfriend at? >> Um downtown. >> So, what are you Why are you waiting? What are you waiting for? >> Just wait. I'm just kind of hanging for him. >> Okay. Is he coming to pick you up? >> Um yes. >> Okay. All right. How about we step out of the car? Okay. >> Okay. >> Do you have any ID with you by chance? >> Yes. Yeah. >> Okay. Do you not know where it's at? >> Um Oh, I do. I'm just I'm sorry. I'm nervous and I'm just >> Okay. Any reason why any reason why you're nervous? >> No. I'm just like, >> no. >> Okay. Do you think it's somewhere else in your car? >> Uh, no. It really should be here. Okay. >> Maybe somewhere. Maybe somewhere in her car. You You hang tight. You don't have to go back in the car. Just hang tight. Back here. I'm going to grab a piece of pen and paper. Just get your information real quick. >> So, did you know where in the car your license would be at? >> Yes. >> But where would it be without going inside? Just to make sure. >> Um where my >> license would be at inside the car. >> Well, it should be here, which is weird. But yes, normally College Park. >> Okay. Gotcha. And do you know how long how far away your boyfriend's going to be? Like, did you just recently call him, text him? >> Yeah. Three, like three miles. >> Three miles. And he says he's on his way. >> Um, no. I just told him I was coming home. >> You what? >> I told him I was coming home. >> Oh, you told him you were coming home? Yeah. Gotcha. Okay. >> All right. Well, I have another officer here in a second. >> Okay. >> They're going to check on you and make sure you're okay to drive. Okay. >> Okay. >> That's my main concern right now. And so, we're going to just make sure you're okay. If you're okay, cool. >> Okay. Okay. >> And we'll go from there. Okay. >> Oh, thank you. >> Hello. >> Hello. >> Officer Thomas with the Winter Park Police Department. What's your name? >> I'm Holly. >> Holly. Nice to meet you. >> So, I'm obviously they were a little concerned about you. They found you. Where exactly did they find you? >> Right here. >> Right there in the driver's seat. >> Yeah. >> Yes. >> Okay. Do you need any medical attention? >> No. >> Okay. Were you tired? >> Um, no. >> No, not tired. So, you just decided to take a nap here? >> No, I Well, I'm waiting for my boyfriend. >> Okay. >> And he hasn't picked up, so I hanging for him. >> Gotcha. So, is your boyfriend coming here? >> Um, I hope so. >> Okay. >> Um, he's lived in Eustace. >> Eustace. Yeah. >> So, where is he right now? >> Probably Eustace. >> Probably Eustace. So, that's quite a distance away, isn't it? >> Uh, yes. >> Okay. So, what time did you expect him to come here? >> Um, no. Um, I'm not sure. >> You're not sure? So, you said you were meeting him here, but you you're not sure of when he's going to be here. >> Well, I just wanted to let him know I was going home. >> Gotcha. Okay. Okay. And then, where were you before this? >> I was at um there were like I was at two places in here. >> At two places. What What two places? um a place called Joe's. >> Joe's. >> And um >> sorry, I'm not familiar. What is Joe's? >> I don't really know. >> Is it a food place? >> No. No, it's a like I I don't really know either, but it was like a um >> Yes. A food place. >> A food place. >> A bar. Bar place. >> Bar place. Okay. Did you eat anything there? >> No. >> No. Did you drink anything? >> Yes. >> Okay. What did you have? Um, I had a a watermelon martini. >> Watermelon martini. Okay. Okay. You only had one? >> Yes. >> Okay. Did you have anything else besides watermelon martini? >> Okay. And how long ago was that? >> Probably like 5:00. >> 5:00. Do you know what time it is now? >> No. >> No. So, you're you were just chilling here? >> Well, I met another girlfriend and a other friend at another place. >> Okay. What other place was that? >> Um I I don't know. Um Italian place. >> Italian place. >> Yes. >> Where was that? >> Uh right in here. >> Right in here. >> Um Barital Italia. >> Baritalia. Yes. >> Did you have anything to drink there? >> Yes. >> Okay. What did you have to drink? >> I had a martini. >> A martini. Just a single martini. Multiple. Anything else? >> Uh just one. >> Just one. Okay. And what time was that? >> Um 8:00 p.m. >> 8:00 p.m. Okay. Yeah. They're just making sure everything's okay. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Nothing to worry about right now. So, obviously our concerns are we we see you here. You you said that you have had a few drinks, right? >> You said you're not very tired. You said that your boyfriend was supposed to be coming here, but there seems to be a disconnect in communication and you don't exactly know if or when he's coming here, >> right? I just want to let him know where I was. >> Gotcha. >> Yeah. Get in trouble. >> Um, while I have you here, do you have your ID with you? >> Um, yes. He asked me that, too. It was so strange. Like, yes. Yeah. And I was looking and I'm like, yes. Okay. Is it in your vehicle? >> No, it should be like in my wallet. >> It should be in your wallet. Do you believe you a flashlight help? >> Probably. >> There you go. >> Try going all the way over. >> I see it right up there. >> I know it sounds weird, but I have like two. It's like Well, not like two, but >> Yeah. Okay. I'm here like >> perfect. So, with that being said, what's what do you plan to do from here on out? >> Wait for my boyfriend. >> You're just going to keep waiting here? Okay. So, >> you're not planning to leave or drive off or anything like that? Okay. So, >> here's my ultimate concern about all of this is >> you said you had a few drinks. Okay. >> A few drinks does not mean you're intoxicated. It just means you had a few drinks, but you were behind the wheel of the vehicle and in say Florida. >> That is some concern because people tend to drive off. >> Right. >> So, with that being said, right now I'm conducting a DUI investigation. Okay. What I'm going to ask is if you'd be willing to submit to a few field exercises. >> I don't know. >> Okay. I don't want to say no because I don't want to say no, but my boyfriend's always said like, don't say yes to that. >> Okay. Well, it is completely up to you. I will say this out of all fairness so you have all the information ahead of you. >> If you do not consent to it, I have to base my investigation on what I've currently observed and the behaviors that you've exhibited so far. So, this is just providing you an opportunity to show me that you're perfectly okay. So, we can possibly get you on your way, get your boyfriend here, and go from there. >> If you're willing to consent to that, >> we can start heading over there. >> Um, so do I say yes, like I want him to be here or no? >> So, we could always get him in contact later. This this stuff is just in particular to write now. So, I I don't mean this to sound so terrible, but he's not going to be performing. It is on you. So, it's your decision on what you choose to do. >> Okay. I I I I hate to say this. I want him here. >> Okay. >> So, how about this? If we call him. >> Okay. >> And I'm not trying to do this because it has to be your decision on what you choose to do, >> right? >> But we could always get in contact with him. Okay. Okay. >> Okay. So, let's set that aside for right now. >> Okay. >> We get in contact with him later. Are you still willing to provide or perform these exercises? Is just making sure that you are okay and safe. >> Uh, no. I don't want to withhold him cuz like I feel like he's my like radar on things. I don't want to get in trouble. >> Gotcha. So, just do me a favor and can you hang out on this side with this officer right here? >> Yeah. >> Yep. Yes. Yeah. >> Just so you're not too cramped in between the vehicles. Okay. Give me one second. >> Are you going to need if regardless of what happens here, are you going to need some type of event number just in case or yourself at all? >> Um I'm text my boss. I don't know what he got back to you or anything. >> Gotcha. Okay. All right, man. So, like I said before, I afford you the opportunity to perform fieldy exercises. With that being said, I have to base my investigation on what I've seen. so far. >> Yeah. >> Right now, what I'm seeing is you seem to be a bit intoxicated. Okay. >> In all fairness, I will give you another opportunity to consent to these exercises, but if you refuse, that is completely on to you. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, do you again, do you wish to consent to these exercises? >> I I can't because I'm I I should wait for him. >> Okay. >> I'm I'm I'm sorry. >> 100%. I respect your choice. With that being said, could you put the purse on the top of your vehicle? Yeah. >> Okay. >> And just turn around for me >> and put your hands behind your back. Okay. >> Sorry. >> You're good. >> No, you're okay. >> So, you're being placed under arrest for >> driving while impaired. DUI. >> Wasn't I was just waiting. >> Okay. So, like I said, I gave you the opportunity to consent to those exercises, which may have helped in your favor, but again, it is completely up to you. I can't influence you or direct you to take those. Okay? >> So, with that being said, you will be taken to the DUI testing center where you're going to be afforded the chance to provide a breath sample. >> Okay? >> I don't know what your history looks like, but if you fail to provide a breath sample, and I will read you implied consent later on, so you're fully aware of what happens. If you do not uh provide a breath sample when requested, then that will result in the suspension of your license. Okay? If you have a history of doing it and there's a prior refusal on your record, that means it will be an additional criminal charge and your license will be suspended for an even longer period. >> Okay? >> So, just so you understand how this goes, how this works, so you can decide what you do when you get there. Okay. >> Okay. Thank you. >> All right. So this gentleman here, he works as security for the property. He's going to read you out the trespass warning. >> Okay. Thank you. >> You hear about >> you hear of a warning that you are not authorized license provided on the premises. You're hereby requested to leave the premises immediately. You refuse to leave or return at any time near future. You may be that I don't know where it's getting to codew. Thank you. Do you have anything on you that's going to poke me or stick me while I'm doing my search? >> I don't think so. >> Okay, you can step off just a little bit. >> Okay. Thank you. >> All right. This called Robert. >> Yeah. >> I'm just going to have to put on speaker. Okay. >> Okay. Thank you. >> If I can. There goes. Just make it as brief as you can. Okay. >> Hi. Are you going to come get me? >> Yes, please. >> Oh, you're coming with us. I'm with the police. >> Robert? >> Yes. >> This is Sergeant Roas. I don't think she quite understands. She's being placed under arrest for DUI. >> Okay. >> So, we just wanted to let you know that she is uh under arrest and she's heading to the DUI testing center and then to 33rd from there. >> Sir, can you repeat that please? She is going to go from here directly to the DUI testing center and from there she's going to go to 33rd to the Orange County Jail. >> Can you get me now? >> Huh? >> Can you get me now? >> No, you're going to jail right now. Yeah. >> Yeah. Okay. Well, we just wanted to let you know, Robert. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. Bye. >> Just take a seat in there. She was charged with driving under the influence, including unlawful blood alcohol at 0.08 or above per 100 ml, along with refusal to submit to DUI testing.
