a multi-vehicle crash occurred friday
night in fridley minnesota on i-694 in
the north metro this is the first crash
in the video but there's going to be
more in a moment it's not clear from
this what originally caused the red car
to spin out but traffic can be seen
continuing at a pretty decent pace past
the crash scene one car seemed to
be a little slow to recognize the
situation and collided head-on with the
vehicle
unfortunately there seemed to be only a
limited amount of braking before the
contact the saving grace here is there
was at least some braking and for the
car that was struck i'm not sure but i
don't think the airbags deployed on the
first crash which would help protect
them in the second we'll update the
description as we learn more about this
crash but obviously there is a major
rescue operation afterwards
and i'm curious what others think
possible takeaways are about this
incident
