So, we're responding to another domestic. Um, apparently there's three people fighting in a house. We're not really sure what's going on, but it sounds like they're refusing to separate. So, myself and uh Deputy Smith are in route. 14 arrived. >> Confirming it's 1841. Sheriff's office coming. >> Hi. >> Hello. >> Hi. >> What's going on? >> Um Oh, you can turn that down, please. Thank you. Nothing's going on. My kids are in the house. >> Did you call? >> No, my sister called. Um, we were all drinking, having a good time. My sister Vivian gets a little bit more accelerated than all of us. And she wanted to fight me and my sister. >> Okay. >> My younger sister gets um my sister's about 37. I'm 35. She's 33. And she gets a little more accelerated than all of us. We can handle it. We know our limits and everything, but she gets very accelerated because she was like a drug abuser before and now it's like >> No, no, no, no, no. I don't want this. >> I don't want this live PD nothing. >> All right, then go stand over there. Go stand over there. I'll talk to you. >> Stand right here. >> Go stand over there. Or you're going to go in handcuffs. Do you understand me? >> Settle down, please. >> Go stand over there in handcuffs. But I don't want that lively deer. >> Go stand over there then. >> This is my proper property. Go stand over there. Go stand over there. >> Go stand over there. >> No. This happened because of you guys. >> No. I have children here. I >> Stop talking. >> Stop talking. I'm here for a lawful reason. He's following me. >> Me like I'm a >> because I'm trying to figure out what's going on. Go stand over there. >> Nothing going on here. >> Do you want to go in handcuffs? >> You put me goes. I don't care. I I had an a disagreement with my sisters. I don't want no live PD here. This is a normal dispute. Nothing crazy. >> I don't want a live PD here. We have a lot of children here. I don't want that. Okay. So, don't treat me like I'm something. Okay. >> So, what happened? >> I was just asleep. >> So, what happened? >> I don't know what happened. >> Okay. My sisters were this this lady was crazy. This lady was a lesbian. And I said, "All right, I'm going to sleep." I went to sleep. They woke me up. Okay? >> They both woke me up and want to beat me up. And I said, "I'm calling the cops because I don't want to get beat up cuz they beat me up before. I've been here before." Okay, mister. I don't want this. And I said, "If you guys want to take me to jail, take me to jail, please, because I'm tired. I'm tired. I was asleep. They waking me up, sir." Okay. Okay. And see, it's because my sister like they think that they're just like I don't know, bro. I can't even I can't even fathom. I was asleep. I just woke up and they were yelling at me and I was like, "Why is everything coming?" And then they wanted to beat me up. So, I called you guys because she got on the bed. She's beat me up before. That girl's beat me up before. So, I'm like, "Let me call the cops cuz I don't want to get up no more." I had a knee surgery. My ankle up. I'm not in the equipped to fight. You know what I mean? Especially on my sisters. So, I'm not the one. I just want to like >> How did How did she get blood on her face? >> I don't even know. I woke up. She woke me up. I was asleep and she said, "You did this to me." I said, "How could I do that to you when you were in your friend's car?" She was in her friend's car. So, I don't even know how I would even begin to do that to her unless I jumped over her friend into the car to do that. Okay. So, I don't know. But if you guys, >> they're just going to just say it's me all the time because that's just the way my life is. Well, I'm the middle girl. I'm the life like that. So, if they want to say it's me, I guess it's me. >> And they were being to me before I went to sleep. That's why I was like, I'm going to sleep. >> It's okay. We can restart. Okay. I I did definitely didn't like >> my PD in a little bit. >> They'll blur you out. [snorts] Don't worry about it. So, we can restart fresh. Okay. [snorts] Definitely not cool how you approached me. >> No, because I'm like so upset about it asleep, you know, like they woke me up. >> We're going to figure out We're going to get both sides. So, you were sleeping? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Okay. So before I was sleeping, my little sister was in the car with her friend here. And then my big sister, oh the the other one, my they're both my little sister. And it was you was trying to fight me. And I said, "I don't want to fight you." And she did hit me in the face. And I said, "Hey, stop hitting me in the face, bro. Like, stop. Stop." So >> was there an argument? Was it about you being woken up? What? >> No, it was about um I was like, "Oh, yeah. Let's go get a salad." And then like Oh, [ __ ] the salad. You know, it was just like some stupid >> dumb stuff. Okay. >> Yeah. >> This is like the first time the cops have gotten [laughter] call and she got up to go to the bathroom. I said, "How dare you like do this to me?" She's like, "I didn't do nothing to you." And I'm like, "Look at me." And I turn the light on. She's like, "I didn't do that to you." I'm like, "Yes, baby. You did >> you stepped out of it. I don't want to get beat up anymore, bro. >> Nobody's trying to beat you up. Beat me up. >> Nobody beat her up." Okay. >> Yes, you are. >> Stop. Stop. >> It's [ __ ] funny. >> Hey, they want to beat me up. >> I never got beat up before and they're beating me up. >> Vivian, >> you guys, I never got beat up before and they're beating me up. I was asleep. >> I'm not having anybody to jail yet. I don't got no reason to take you to jail. >> I want to go. I'm tired. >> Okay. I want to go home, but I can't go home. So, >> just cuz you want to go to jail don't mean I can take you. >> Stop. >> Give me a favor. I want you to hold your hands out like this. And I just want to get hold your hands out. >> Just a picture. >> Just in front of you. All I'm doing is I want to get a picture of your hands and and everything else with it. This way if something does escalate or something goes anywhere >> and someone decides they want to press charges down the road, photographs of everything was taken. Okay. >> Yeah. There's no punch marks where >> there you go. And then same with you. >> Like I said, if you guys decide down the road you guys want to press charges, something you something changes this way. photographs were taken and we have it we have it all documented. You want to look that way for me just so I can get cuz you have the marks on the side. >> So weird that she said she didn't do this to me and I was like >> okay press charges. Let me go to jail. Come on. >> No, we're not doing that. >> My sister's crazy charges against you right now. >> No. >> Okay. But like >> down the road if you guys do want to decide I I I don't I don't know what else we can do at this moment. We can't make any one of them leave, >> right? >> Um just maybe go to separate areas. >> Mhm. >> But down the road if you do want to press charges. Um all you got to do is call up. There'll be a log noted that we responded out here for domestic. >> It's not a domestic, it's going to be a battery because siblings. But if you guys down the road want to do it, I'll have the photos. You can tell them Deputy [music] Smith came out and then from there I'll pull a report and get it documented. Okay. >> Now, >> do do you live separately from the rest of the house? >> We do. >> Like uh I live in inside so >> is it possible to stay separated for the night? >> No. >> All right. So, we got to figure something out. >> All right. >> Huh? You want to take me a j to listen to me. Okay. [snorts] >> All right. What I'm going to do is I'm going to take pictures of your hands and your face. Okay. And then this way down down >> I I know. I know. I'm just I just want to show that if something does change and someone wants to press charges at this point, we got documentation of everything. So what I want you to do is I want you to stand there with your hands kind of up by your stomach a little bit. There you go. And then just [snorts] look at me. And then, like I said, this is just so I can verify and show that there's no marks on your hands. We get a closeup of your face. There's no marks on your face. All right. I think we've had a little too much to drink for everybody tonight. >> Maybe, but I was asleep already. >> Okay. So, what I'm going to recommend is since there's nothing we can do, go back in the house. You'll be in your room. You'll have your room to yourself. Um, stay away from each other, okay? Because I don't want to have to turn around, come back out here for something because someone gets up and escalates it, please. >> Right. >> Yeah. >> At this point, no one's going to jail. You don't want these charges. If it results in something that escalates worse, it's going to be more charges. >> Okay. >> You're better off going inside, sleeping in your bed, and just waking up feeling like tomorrow cuz you're going to be hung over. >> Maybe. >> Not maybe you're going to be hung over. I can I mean I'm sitting this far from you and I can like >> I almost feel like I can taste the alcohol. [laughter] >> It was only beer. It was only >> I know. But I've drunk quite a bit. >> But I was asleep already so like it's been in >> What's dad's name? >> Huh? >> On the plane. >> No. What's dad's name? >> David. >> David. Confirmed. Stop recording. >> So that was a drunken fight amongst siblings. Uh siblings are not a domestic in Nevada. Um basically told them all they need to sleep it off, go separately. Um the one female came at me pretty hot and didn't want to just calm down for a couple seconds. So I rose to her level, got her to calm down. Um, and then once she calmed down, I met her again at her level. Um, at any point these things happen. [snorts] It's all a part of the acting in the job. Am I mad at her? No. But there are sometimes people need to be yelled at and they need to understand the seriousness of the situation and that I am commanding the attention and they're not running the show. And when that happens and they calm down and we can start creating solutions instead of more problems, then I fall back down to their level, then we start to have normal peaceful conversations. So, right now, we're heading to a domestic. It sounds like a domestic, but right now all we know it's it's a disturbance. Somebody's intoxicated. Uh there's eight total people. The male supposedly has hit everyone in the house except for the female caller. And we got two people outside fist fight. So we got two officers in route. I'm also on my way just to back them up, kind of watch their surroundings, make sure nothing gets too out of hand. >> Just calm down. Rolling that way a little bit. [laughter] Give me this hand. Yeah. Yeah. There we go. Stop. >> I'll let y'all put me downers at this point. Put me down simply because this [ __ ] put me down just cuz >> y so put me down. >> Y so >> Hey, what's your name? >> My name's Johnny. >> What's your last name? >> H you at this point. Can you flip over so we can see your face? [laughter] >> Here. >> Can we Can we Can you grab my hand? >> Listen. Listen. Grab my hand. I'm going to set you up on this truck. [laughter] Okay. >> Can you lean back? Can you lean [clears throat] back? >> What's going on? I can't >> We're going to lean you back up against this. Don't Don't hit your head. [laughter] >> I can't be too dizzy. Do you want us to scoot you back? >> Yeah. >> All right. Let me see your hand. [laughter] >> I can scoot back. >> Don't hit your hand. >> I [laughter] can't. >> What happened? Please help me. >> What's his name? >> His name is Johnny. >> What's his last name? H like like >> Yeah, like H. H. Birthday. Um. I think he was in 1993. I didn't know what you're 30 minutes until I think so. >> He's He's really drunk. I don't know what to do. >> Are y'all Are y'all related? I mean, are y'all friends? >> You're a big dog. >> Okay. What do you do? Just have too much to drink and get mad? >> Did he [laughter] hit you? I don't want >> Look at me. >> Hit you. [laughter] >> Yeah. Okay. >> Hey. Hey. [laughter] >> I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for you. >> I mean, it's not your fault. >> Trying to help him get sober. It's kind of my fault. >> It's not your fault. [laughter] Act on a scale of one to three. Act like I don't know. >> He [laughter] was using drug. What was his drug of choice? >> He's too much. >> You got a twig. >> That's good. That's good. [laughter] My name is Jonathan Odell. My name is Jonathan Odell a D and I will protect this country with all my hands. You understand me? You piece of >> Hey, look. you. >> Hey, all of you. >> Hey, look. I'm trying to help you out here. >> Oh, can you try to help me? >> Yeah. You going to listen? >> Okay, I'll help you. >> Do you need a medic to come check you out? You got any? >> I ain't got no boyfriend. >> Can you help me? >> Huh? >> Can you help me? I'm here. >> My middle stupid. >> All right. [snorts] Yeah. Yeah. You stupid. >> You see the mail thing. I'm going to >> pick you up here. Okay. >> I'm going to help you. >> You going to give us a problem or nothing? >> No. >> All right. Not all right. >> You stupid. >> Let's walk this way. >> You so stupid. >> Oh, you your point. That's so stupid. I'm going to look to my left cuz why my left ain't saying you? >> Yeah, I'm saying. >> Okay, buddy. >> Okay. Get better. I'mma take you to right next to your face. >> What's your name? What's your name? >> What's your name? >> To my right. >> I want to know. Girl, shake my hands, you stupid person. >> All right. >> All right. We're going to go in the car. Okay. >> Okay. >> What's your face? >> Climb up. >> I will step up and go. >> Okay. >> Step up. >> Come on in. Yeah. >> Oh, no. That's not That didn't work. >> Doesn't I'mma got you, bro. You stuff it to my right. >> My right. >> You pull me that way a little bit. >> Come to me. >> Look, he's going to grab me. Play that way a little bit. Okay. >> Grab my shoulder and pull you. Okay, boss. >> Oh, thank you. Thank you. >> There you go. I think we're good to go. >> Good job, bro. >> All right. Good job, bro. You're good luck. >> My right foot. Baby, [laughter] >> my lost. >> It's okay. Let's pick up your stuff. Okay, I got it up here except for her phone. >> I'm sorry, y'all. I really apologize. >> No, no, no. It's not He's the only one. >> None of this is y'all's fault. The only one that >> He's acting crazy. I mean, I have a scratch on my chest from him where I tried to get it off of my boyfriend. >> Yeah. >> Where he was choking him out. I tried to pull him off. >> Who Who called? >> Please tell me. >> She did. My mother cigarette, please. >> If you have a cigarette, >> your first name is Samantha, right? >> Yeah. >> That's your last name. >> Parish. Paris or >> sorry spell that for me. >> O R A M. >> She got married and I didn't I don't remember her last name. >> I don't want [laughter] >> Like I said, I blew up the mattress and we got him to lay on it and that's when he started going violent. I moved my TV cuz I didn't want it to fall on him. >> And then he just went completely and then he's out here and >> she had him here. >> She had him call. >> Please don't let this get bad. Please. >> Nope. You're not going. going to jail, baby. >> You're not going to jail. >> They already took him off. >> Honey, I'm sorry, >> honey. They have they have EMTs coming to check you, baby. And then I noticed that he had her on the ground. >> You're okay. I'm going to get out the way and let these medics talk to you. Okay. >> What happened? >> Where you at? >> Where? >> We'll get We'll get her up. Put her on here. Grab my hand. >> Ready? I'm sorry. >> Hey, Samantha. [laughter] >> So, I'll call her there. You're not going to do anything wrong. >> I love you. >> Come with me. >> I can't come with you. >> Step on back a little bit. >> All right. >> Um, I arrived on scene and two of my officers were trying to get a a male in cuffs. Uh, obviously to place him under arrest. They just had a domestic violence situation. He uh he had beat his girlfriend up pretty bad. So, uh, I helped I assisted them to get the man in cuffs, got him in the back of the patrol car, had paramedics come and check on his girlfriend. They're going to take her to the hospital for further evaluation. Um, he'll have to do a 24-hour mandatory hold in our jail before he can even make bond. And that would give her time to get a PFA or whatever she would like to do to basically protect herself from him. >> What's PFA? uh protection from abuse order. Yeah. >> All right. So, we're in route two domestic right now. They have a child on the phone who's stating that their par that that the child's parents are fighting. Um the child saying that no one's hurt, but she hears them fighting. And a little bit later on after the child called in, the female party called in and basically almost confirmed everything that the child was saying. Um, so she's crying, says he needs to go, she wants a restraining order. They live in an RV park. Um, and basically saying that he's getting loud and yelling at her and that he's been drinking. So the RP is saying that she's not hurt. She's in the bathroom and there's four kids present. the kids are safe, but the RP is claiming that the male half is mentally abusing the kids. Um, and the the uh RP also stated that the male did push her and has been pushing her into walls. >> Um, there was a TPO out of Vegas Metro, but that expired months ago per the RP second row. >> So, we're going to go see what's going on. The dispatcher can hear the male yelling at her over the phone. So, >> okay. >> Sounds like they're still engaged in somewhat of a verbal argument. >> And we're going to go see what's going on. It sounds like we have units already in the area. They're just trying to find the trailer. So, we'll be pulling up here shortly. Dude, do you have a code? All right. So, we're getting into this trailer park here. We had a little bit of an obstruction getting in here. It's a gate. So, um [snorts] we do have our own gate codes to different parks around or different uh RV parks around the city. Um, sometimes it just takes a little bit to pull up the gate code [snorts] >> myself and four will be out today. >> Oh, I'm on cops. What's up, baby? >> So, if you want to go chitchat with >> um the wife and her name's Alexander. And then you said that your daughter's Matilda. >> Matilda. My oldest kid was out here when >> Sweet. Do you want to talk to Matilda? >> Sweet. You do you want to talk to his daughter Matilda? See what she has to say? You want to go talk to >> Yeah. Alexander >> you said? >> Yeah. >> They're all right over here. >> We can kind of see what they all have. >> Are you Alexandra? >> Okay. Can you come over here and speak with me if you don't mind? >> What? Hey. >> Hey. He's Alexandra. You have to come talk to me. Okay. He's just got to figure out what's going on. He's got to speak to the kids. I got to speak with you. >> Who's this gentleman to you? >> This is my husband. >> He's your husband. Are these your kids in common? >> Yeah. You guys live here together? >> Yeah. >> You want to explain what happened? Are you all right? You need medical attention? >> I'm fine. >> You need medical attention? >> No, I don't think so. >> You guys been drinking tonight? >> He has? >> Yeah. >> Both of you or just him? >> I had drinks earlier, but not for a couple hours. And I don't think he has either. I don't Neither of us are drunk at this point. It's just >> I don't know. >> How long you guys been married? Well, we've been together 12 years. >> 12 years. >> We were down here from Vegas. >> From Vegas. >> And last week, I called the cops because same kind of deal. My My kids were scared. My girls were scared. >> Yeah. Why were they scared? >> Because he's because he gets really scared. >> He gets what? >> He gets really He just You you got to tell me. >> He just starts he's he will start, you know, threatening things and, you know, he'll get he's he screams at me, but then he'll get really scary and like scream in my face and back me up against a wall and call me all these names. Then my my girls are scared. And >> why does he do that? >> He I don't know. God, I got a migraine. >> You don't know what set him off or what caused him to do that? >> Just stupid. >> Me and him will get in a little spat, but then he goes and turns the AC off. So the kids are hot and I'm like, "Dude, the kids are hot. Turn the AC on." I go out. I get my oldest phone >> because I have to hide my phone because if I don't hide it, he'll take it and run off. He left us >> for two days in this hot desert that the RV wouldn't get to 90°. >> So he [snorts] left you guys. >> He left us with no water for two days in the heat. >> Why' he do that? >> Because he was mad. >> What'd he get mad about? >> Whatever. >> Yeah, >> whatever. Who knows? He was mad at me. So this is an ongoing thing. >> Yeah. >> But this is the last This is it. This is it. We lived in a house together for seven years. >> Yeah. >> Where he would get drunk and do this and the cops would come and hear this that the other thing. And >> so it happens when he gets drunk. >> Well, yes. And it happens when he's sober, too. >> The other night when I called he was sober and tonight I called and he's drunk. And it's like it's a mental health things. >> You told dispatch that he pushed you. >> Yeah. He was he pushed me up against the little cupboards and was screaming in my face and my girls were crying and I just went in the bathroom and >> how do he push you? Like >> he like like a in your in your face and your ear >> like with his hands or >> like a shoulder like a shoulder check? >> Yeah, like a shoulder check. Yeah. >> Did he knock you to the ground when he did that? Oh, I was up against the wall and it was more of a like a >> like push you into the wall to shoulder. >> It was more of a like a Yeah, like a jerk, not like a, you know, and he takes my phone. He took my keys to my car. So, me and my kids were stuck here for two days with literally two bottles of two water bottles of water. >> You said it was like a shoulder. >> Yeah. Okay. >> In the house and outside I tripped and I fell trying to block him into the car, but he didn't do that. But in in the house it was more of like a shoulder check >> like a like a like a [crying] kind of was it I mean he he physically hit you with a >> No no no no it was more of like a you're screaming in my face and I fall back. I don't know if he hit me but it was screaming in my face you stupid. And I just fell back >> he was just kind of in your face [snorts] and it >> Yeah. I don't know if he actually hit me. >> What's up man? >> How's it going bro? It's going good, brother. Hey, um Yes, sir. >> Is the AC off in there? >> The AC should be on. >> Okay. >> You didn't turn it off or anything? >> Nope. >> Okay. >> If if you go behind it, like on the back, I know it's dark back there, but >> behind the actual trailer. >> Yeah. There's a there's a surge master on there, you should see green lights on it, and you should see a green display. Okay. >> On it also. >> All right, I'll go check it out. Everything >> everything looks like it's on. All right, Ken. So, um, you the the AC wasn't off. It was just set at 90. I don't know who set at 90. So, I turned >> I didn't touch it. >> Okay. I turned it down. So, now it's cooling. Um, >> do you have her phone? >> Am I going to be on cops? >> No, it's just a documentary, man. It's not the actual like cops like the the old school cops. It's a different one. Is this hers? >> Uh, I'm pretty sure. Why'd you take it, man? >> Uh because she took my keys. >> Okay. >> I know you guys don't understand this. I don't have anywhere. I don't have a place to sleep but my damn truck here. >> No, I understand. I get it. I get it, man. >> And you know, I had to sleep in this car for two weeks. >> You know, I'm not super tall, but that car is not very wide, >> you know. >> All right. So, I got your phone back. >> He's claiming he took your phone cuz he took his keys. He said, she said >> he's going to grab his work clothes. >> Okay. Is he bouncing for the night or sleeping in a car? >> I'm just I'm going to sleep in that car. >> Okay. >> Yeah. He's taking my car and stranding me and the kids in the desert. That's what he wants to do. >> Me and the kids are stranded here in the desert with little to no water again for the second time this week. No milk, no juice, no bread, no water. But here we are. Joy property, huh? Good job on you, officer. >> There's water in there, >> man. There's plenty of water over there. >> Yeah, I'm sure. Uh-huh. Good for you, sir. >> Leave me alone and don't talk to me. [snorts] >> He left me and my kids for two days with no water in the middle of the hot desert. >> And you don't give a cuz you're black and HE'S BLACK. SO OFF. >> I DIDN'T SHOW THEM THE water that you just said ain't here. I ain't taking it with me. Where's the milk? Where's the juice? Where's the >> I don't take Oh, I got I GOT >> WE DON'T HAVE ANY. And I need a car to go get it. >> Hold on. Wait. That's >> Yep. Let's show the black officer everything. Both of you. If he was a white guy, you wouldn't be on his side like the Don't >> I'm not on anyone's side. >> You are racist. >> Okay. >> You are worthless. >> Why you disrespect this man? Because >> he's worthless. No, he realized that you're lying, you guys. >> I'm lying. >> All right, listen up, guys. >> Stop filming me, bro. >> Okay, listen. >> I swear to God, I'm so over it. I'm so >> Listen, guys. We're going to get out of here. Okay. >> Yeah, of course you are. Can you >> It sounds like you guys are getting It sounds like you guys are separated. I don't want to be back. I don't want to be back out here because if this you what you guys are doing in front of the kids >> isn't right for these kids. Okay. I know. >> So, if I have to come out here over a situation like this, CPS is getting involved cuz I ain't playing games anymore. Especially with these kids. There's kids around. You see how distraught they got? Enough. Enough is enough. Okay. >> I'm well aware. >> Okay. So, it sounds like we're going to get separated. Fine. We're going to do our thing >> and he's not going to bug him back. >> Cool. >> And if you listen, if you guys need us, call us. But if it's over argument like this, you guys are adults. You guys can figure it out. >> No, she's a child. >> All right, guys. Listen. We're done here tonight. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. So um we had a few other deputies on the scene there and we were each talking to an individual party. So um the information that we gathered was that there was nothing physical. The children confirmed that there was nothing physical and even the uh female half confirmed that there was nothing physical. It was more of like a a verbal argument um that invol that evolved in the trailer and that's what led the kids to calling and that's why she called. Um further on in the investigation, she was claiming that the children didn't have any food, any access to uh water, anything like that. Um we did confirm with the male half that there is water food in the trailer. One of her other concerns was that there was no AC in the trailer. Um, I went and I checked out the breakers and everything was okay and I went in there and the only fault with the AC is it was turned up too high. So, I turned it down and then the the uh AC started going. um situations like that. It's it's a loud verbal argument, but then the kids get all, you know, just sad over it and uh that's what really sucks in those situations is those poor kids, you know, having to see their mom and dad fighting and arguing and stuff. It's it's just a sad situation. So, both parties agree to separate. The male is going to be sleeping inside the vehicle. She's going to be sleeping in the trailer with the kids. Um, we'll see if we get called to back out there. Maybe we will. Uh, maybe we won't. I did inform them that, you know, at the end of the day, they're both adults and they shouldn't be arguing in front of their kids. But if they do feel the need to call us, they can go ahead and call us. But today was just an argument and uh hopefully everybody settles down and they can resolve their situation somehow. Heat. [music] Heat.
