Somebody called 911. >> Yeah. >> Damn. >> You must have flipped and they just said that's enough. >> Can I get those biscuits? >> No, they're not going to see [Music] [Music] All right. So, right now we're going to an injury accident. Uh, apparently it's a vehicle rollover. One vehicle was driving, the other one tried to cut around them and uh, apparently flipped. So, we're going to try to get there and uh make sure we can block out the scene and assess any injuries of the people who are involved. Go >> ahead. Nevada 928, George 95. Yeah, >> it's me. I went tried to go around him. I didn't see and then he was hitting the brakes. I tried to go around then he lift his right but I already tried to go around. >> Okay. So you were you guys were going northbound? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I was going home. >> Okay. You guys you tried to go around him? >> Yeah. >> Okay. You turned left. >> Okay. Nevada 03 around zebra at night. >> Okay, gotcha. >> Okay. Um, you got your license, insurance, and regret? >> Oh, yeah. >> Hey, buddy. Are you wearing your seat belt? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> And where did you relatively flip over at? >> How you doing, sir? Driving. >> How you doing? You can see the tires right here. >> Think you'll need a tow or no? >> Okay. Uh once I get photos and all that stuff, then I'll let you work on that. >> Okay. Yeah, I'll have to see what my boss will do. >> Oh, okay. Company vehicle. >> Yeah. Yeah. Just leave it alone for now and then once I'm done I'll >> Yeah. >> 5050. >> Yeah. Like not throwing it, man. >> I've seen works here. >> Yeah. At least he came to a stop on his >> Yeah. He didn't impact this, I take it. Right. Yeah, look straight up. So, he must have flipped and they just said that to them. >> Okay, >> cool. Thanks, guys. He is going to AMA for his hand injury. And >> yeah, >> we'll let him know in a second. >> Okay. Right now, we're going to take the accident report for the accident that we have behind us. And uh once I'm done my accident report, we're going to get some uh tow for one of the vehicles. and one of our drivers refused medical. So, he rolled over. Good thing is they both had their seatelts on. There's no major injuries and they both get to walk out of this without any major injuries. [Music] [Music] Hi, my name is Brandon Ross and we're over here at Ross Speed and Repair in Pump, Nevada. We heard the guys at US Cops had some issues with their 6.0 Ford and we told them bring it in so we can get them all figured out and get them back on the road. We specialize in diesel performance and regular gas performance. Uh we can do everything from general maintenance to full-on custom builds. If you need anything, give us a call at 7027159134. [Music] South 24 registration check 061 yellow 73 white crown Victoria 24 Nevada 061 yellow 73 is negative 1 valid fire 6 to 25 on a 2011 Ford four-door sand plus for the calvin out of Copy. You're show me traffic of that vehicle at Black and Calvata. >> All right. So, we're going to stop him. He's got no license plate lights and I'm directly behind him and he's also doing 51 and a 45. So, he's either doesn't aware of cops behind him in a marked patrol vehicle or he just doesn't care. So, his registration seems current. Um, we'll do a traffic stop and find out what his deal is. So, close enough. [Music] What's your problem? Hey, I'm Deputy Davis, Knight County Sheriff's Office. Hi. So, your license plate lights are burnt out and you're doing 51 and a 45 with me directly behind you. >> My ass a little and it scared me. I'm a nervous driver. >> Okay. Can I see your license? >> I actually I have my ID, but I don't have >> You don't have a license. Do you have insurance? >> Yes, it has insurance. >> Can I see the insurance? >> Can I see? Will you open that and see what's in >> I wasn't It wasn't that close. I was reading your plate. It makes me nervous. It's okay. I don't know. Okay. So, you don't have a license? >> No, I was just going to get cat food. >> Okay, relax, ma'am. It's okay. All right. How old are you? >> 28. >> Why? Why are you freaking out? >> Cuz I don't want to get in trouble. I just like >> Okay. Well, trouble. You may get a ticket tonight, but I mean, are you afraid you're going to go to jail or something? Okay. Well, it's okay. Relax. All right. Do you have your at least an ID on you? Yes, sir. Okay. >> So, you said you were picking up what? Cat food? >> I'm going to get cat food. >> Going to get cat food. Where you going? Tractor Supply? >> No. Walmart. >> Walmart. Okay. I get mine from Tractor Supply and Walmart. So, >> it's all right. Relax. It's all right. Like I said, worst case scenario, maybe you get a ticket or something, but like I said, you weren't doing like 80. You're not reckless. Nothing crazy. You're speeding. License plate light bulbs. They burn out all the time. Okay. It's piece. >> I was like, "What did I do wrong?" Like, I instantly got mad at myself. >> Yeah. So, the only reason I was actually behind you for so long, I wanted to get closer to a major intersection for both of our safety because if we would have stopped over there, there's a lot of dry brush on the side and exhaust pipes cuz I'm also in a Crown Vic can start brush fires and here obviously you can see it's a little bit more flat. Okay, so it's all right. Relax. Not a big deal. Have you ever had any tickets before? >> Um, just one and it's for no insurance. >> No insurance. Okay. But this does have insurance, right? >> Insurance. Who owns the vehicle? >> It's my father's car, Cert. Okay. All right. Sit tight for me, ma'am. All right. Take a deep breath. It's going to be all right. Wow. So, uh, as soon as I got out of the car, I could hear her yelling, "Get that out of my face." She doesn't like my spotlight. So, she admitted she does not have a valid license. She's extremely nervous. Said she's going up to Walmart to get cat food, which I get that. I can respect. got to feed the animals, but um you got to have a license to drive in the state of Nevada. So, she seems like a nice girl. So, what I'll do is I'll do her a favor. >> N copy unknown emergency. >> 9 copy unknown emergency area of comtock and Vegas Valley Drive. Comtock and Vegas Valley Drive. RB advising. There's a male out in the roadway screaming for help. Negative visual. She can just hear 24. Can you clear? >> That's affirm. All right. So, >> confirm you'll be a clear warning. >> That's a good copy. All right. All right, ma'am. So, it's kind of your lucky day, okay? Because we got more important calls going on. So, no citations today. So, your license is showing suspended or surrendered. So, I don't know what happened with that. Um, in the system, it's showing surrendered and uh movement permit or something like that. It's kind of odd. So, >> Oh, that's weird. >> Yeah, whatever you got to do, go to the DMV, get it fixed. Um, you seem like a nice girl. Don't freak out. So the reason we do this anxiety >> the reason we do the spotlight is so you can't look at us approaching for our safety but that's also why I shut it off. >> I was like why is that [ __ ] in my >> heard that's that's what I heard. Um but like I said it could be someone up here with a gun that I don't want to see me approach obviously talking to you. That's why I went over there and shut it off. Okay. Seemed like a nice young lady. Um so please drive safe. >> I will and I won't be speeding. You just made me so nervous. >> Just make sure after you get your cat food, don't do not drive until you get your license fixed. Okay? Because like I said, if NHP stops you, they may tow the vehicle for that. Okay. Yes, sir. >> All right, ma'am. Have a safe one. >> Stop. [Music] All right, so we're going to an unknown emergency where someone's reporting a males in the roadway screaming. Don't know what's going on. Apparently, he's screaming for help. So, we're uh right down the street. So, we're going to be heading that way. Talk. And I don't see anyone down there. 24 in the area. >> 24 copy. I'm talking Vegas Valley. So, it should be around here. We don't have anyone. No other calls. Comtock East. So, should be Oh, here we go. This is going to be him. 24. I'll be out with two female and a male in a wheelchair. It's pretty familiar with them. I think it's going to be our Russian guy out here. >> How's it going? What's going on? >> You're stuck. Okay. All right. Is your battery dead or you just stuck? Stuck. >> Oh, you see I'm I paralyzed. >> Okay. No, no, no. I know that. Is are you stuck or is your chair stuck? Like do you what do you what do you So what what can I how can I help you today? Do you need >> I'm I'm paralyzed. >> Okay. So you need medical? >> You want to go to the hospital? >> My house is right here. >> I I I'm very familiar with where you live, but do you want to go to the hospital tonight? >> No. No. I I just need to get >> Okay. So does your scooter Can you not drive home on your scooter? Like, are is your scooter stuck? Is that why I'm here? I'm trying to figure out what you need from us cuz you don't want to go to the hospital. You don't have a medical issue. So, >> do you have a lighter? >> Okay. Well, we're not going to smoke right now. I need to figure out how I can help you. So, do we need to get you home? >> I just need to get my my home is right right here. >> Okay. So, how how are we going to get you home tonight? What do you what do you need me to do? Does does this thing drive because you're on it. So are is your scooter stuck? Is that what's going on? >> South arriving south. Copy. >> It's So is it not working? >> Let's see. Do you have a Where's your key for it? Okay. >> Oh, you lost your shoe. How much you had to drink tonight? >> You know what I like about you guys? >> What's that? >> Do you know why I like you guys? >> Why do you like the Knight County Sheriff's Office? >> Uh, I came here from Las Vegas. >> Yeah. >> Here in Per >> Yeah. Somebody called 911. >> Yeah. >> Bang. You're right there. >> Okay. So, how how can I help you tonight to get home? >> Cuz your scooter is stuck. We're not a taxi and in your condition, man. Honestly, I wouldn't feel comfortable cramming you in the back of this car cuz I see that your feet are pretty swollen. Um, so how how can I help you tonight? Cuz I mean, we came hauling ass over here cuz someone's yelling for help like we don't know what happened. >> That's what I think. Isn't this Andre? >> Yeah. >> Andre, are you drunk? >> Huh? Have you been drinking tonight? >> Andre, what are you looking for? >> The key. >> You lost the key to the bike. >> Yeah. >> Yep. It's right there. >> It's right next to you. >> It's right next to you. To your uh left. Your left. >> This side right here. >> Oh. >> Or that one on the floor over there. I don't know. >> But there you got keys right everywhere. >> So the key goes right here. >> How much have you had to drink tonight? >> No. No. So, this is just uh what you're going to take home. >> So, that key doesn't work for it. So, you >> So, it's another key that you don't have. What happened to your key? >> If anything, this is going to be a medical lift assist to get him home. He He wants to ride home. It's going to be a micro. >> So, where's the key? >> It's right there, isn't it? >> No, it doesn't fit. >> How are you going to get home tonight? Cuz I mean, we can't we can't give you a ride. >> Well, you're going to have to figure out, Andre, cuz uh you declined medical. There's nothing I can do if you don't have the key to your >> No way. >> your scooter. I I mean I can't like I don't know what you want us to do. >> Wait for one second. >> Okay. What What am I going to wait for? >> Okay. We're going to get out of here. So >> just stay out of the road because I know you've been drinking and we don't want an intoxicated person in the roadway. Okay. It's against the law. >> When I got here, he wasn't he wasn't even driving it. It was some female that was just standing next to him. So Have a good day. >> All right. It's very interesting. I've dealt with him a lot. So, uh, pretty much we arrived, we found a male who is is paralyzed. Um, we've dealt with him a lot. He's a he's a heavy drinker, major alcoholic. He's the type who would, you know, blow a 40 and be completely functional. So, speaking with him tonight, I didn't smell any odor of alcohol coming off of him. inside the basket of the scooter. There was a half filled um bottle of vodka. He stated he needed help getting home his scooter. He couldn't find the key for it. Lost his key at some point. Um I asked if he wanted any medical assistance. He declined. I would not feel comfortable with him and his medical conditions looking at his legs and other um stuff he's got going on cramming him into my car. And we're also not a taxi service. So he lives about two streets away um in Comtock Park. told him to stay out of the roadway. It's possible that he's probably >> finish that all call on the way home, but I didn't see him driving the scooter when I arrived. He was simply sitting on it with a female standing next to him. So, >> um same thing with with the DUI. If I don't see someone actually in physical control of the vehicle, I can't charge him. >> Um same thing with him, not having an odor of alcohol emanating from his person. Um, and having previous dealings with him where he wasn't intoxicated and his third speech being normal for him, I didn't have enough to charge him with any kind of public into talks or put him on a CPC hold. So, all right. So, we're headed to assist highway patrol. Um, we had a fatal accident where a truck pretty much ran over somebody out in Armagosa, which is a rural part of our county, the other day. and the driver that ran the individual over fled the area. Um wouldn't have even been his fault according to what we were told. Uh but since he fled and makes it a felony hit and run because the guy that he ran over did die unfortunately even though it was the pedestrian's fault. So right now we're following up at an address that he might be at our suspect. Um so we're going to see if he's there. If he is there, then I believe highway patrol since they're the ones that took jurisdiction on the accident. From what I was advised, they're probably going to take him into custody. So, check the address, see if he's there, and uh and go from there. I'm about this address. But that's what I on the 18 wrench. It didn't show this one. And then I searched again. It was over here. >> Go up and ask him. If >> it is, it is. If it's not, it's not. >> No, you're you're good, sir. I just want you to know why I'm scanning over here on your front porch. >> Yeah. >> That way you understand just exactly what's going on. And I know since it ain't you, I'm good with that. I just want to tell you what brought us over here. You guys ain't no struggle or nothing. It's supposed to be a family member of the guy and we're trying to load locate cuz he did a fatal hit and run yesterday. My father had a guy living here >> for a couple months cuz he had cancer and I was over in Vegas taking care of him here. >> Do you know if any of your neighbors by you over here are Hispanic or anything? >> Uh, do you know any of your neighbors that not this guy with the Christmas lights, but the next guy over there, I'm pretty sure their family who was Hispanic. I know that one point that one of their members crashed and killed into two people on a bicycle. You know, I I keep to myself. >> Hey, I don't blame you, man. I do the same thing, sir. I completely understand. >> Just like what you said, being associated with people get you in trouble. And I'd rather be alone and tell God, "Hey, I did my best." You know what I mean? Yes, sir. >> So, here are you. Have you seen this truck in this area? >> Look familiar to you? >> Okay. Like I've seen a silver truck. That's my neighbor, but he doesn't have those stripes. >> What about this guy? [Music] >> 40. >> I think it was 40 or 41. >> Not really like that, man. >> Cuz he took off and he's got family out here and so now and the family's hiding him and stuff. >> I'll tell you what though, if I find them, I'll tackle them for you and give you guys a call. I promise you on that. >> Thank you, brother. You have something by the way. >> Absolutely. Thank you for your time. >> Yeah, have a good day. >> Y stay safe. >> Thank you, sir. You do the same. One house down over here. One over. >> Let's go down the street. We can go check over there. >> All right. So, now we are going to head to back up um one of our K9 deputies. He's out with the individual we were out with earlier, who is a male yelling for help. Um, so apparently now he's in the same spot, was yelling for help, but has a cut above his eye. So we don't know if he was assaulted, if he fell off of his wheelchair, try to get out or electric scooter, try to get out of the electric scooter and fell. We don't know what's going on. So, um, we're going to go out there and see what's up. And obviously, we got medical rolling to the scene to evaluate them. And then, um, we'll make a determination from there. Well, we're uh we're arriving on scene now. We're going to see what's going on with this male. Um see if he got his wheelchair unstuck after we cleared and went to the accident. What What were you going to do? CPC? >> I was going to hit him intoxicated and ro >> drunk as [ __ ] >> Oh, he's in the roadway. Oh, >> he's Oh, he did move it kind of. >> Did he? Oh, he polished it off. >> Oh, yeah. Is >> it on his butt? >> No, I don't like this building. offices ID or anything in here? >> No. Okay. Trying to see if this thing turns on or not. The key. >> Oh, he doesn't have the key. Keys are all down here. Oh. Oh, I think this is his uh Yeah, that's a form of ID if you guys want it. I guess he decided to like polish this off. I don't see any other keys around. >> Hey, Matt, when you guys get him loaded, can you check his pockets for keys? Oh, yeah. Let me check real quick. I haven't checked. Oh, >> did he? >> No, I'm kidding. >> Yeah, >> he broke it off. >> Yeah. Oh, that's great. Couple keys here. >> Yeah. May as well just take those keys with them. I It looks like you broke it off. >> Oh, yeah. It's still in there. >> Yeah, it's still in there. Is it? >> It's done. Is it movable? Does it roll? >> No. >> Oh, unlock this. It might. >> Yeah, it rolls. >> He's over off of uh Hamilton, right? >> All right. Uh, I don't know if I even got room in the back of my car cuz I got all my stuff in your car. >> Well, I mean, if I pop the trunk and set it on top, I can limp it over there. I would think. I mean, if there's a will, there's a way. >> Heavy as >> Yeah. Ready? >> Yep. >> Holy. Uh-oh. >> Yeah, I think it's just the seat locking, but no, that's not going to hold. Son of a bee. Um, >> what if we put this in first? >> I was thinking since this is all the weight, I feel like if we throw the ass in it, that can hang out and I think we'll be fine. >> Here we go. >> Yeah, I think that's good. All right, >> good. >> Now, we'll go over >> there. So, uh, nobody >> Yeah, I'll just make a big loop around so I'm not making U-turns. >> All right. So, uh, Mel's going to go to the hospital. He has a pretty good cut over his eye. Um, didn't really say what happened. We don't know if he fell. It's his injury isn't consistent with being punched. It could be a fall or he got struck with an object. We just don't know yet. He's going to the hospital. Um, his electric scooter is currently sticking out of my trunk and we are going to drive it over to his residence. So when he is um discharged from the hospital at least, you know, his his electric um scooter is at his residence and he still is, you know, has his mobility and all that. If we left it out there, it probably gets stolen or vandalized or something else. So, we'll uh drag this over to his house, drop it off. Um Deputy Murphy will conduct follow-up with him if needed at the hospital. Hopefully, he'll he'll be all right. nothing significant with his eye injuries and that'll be the end of this.
