male um upon initial arrival made contact with a male um who was being verbally abusive towards his wife um it drew a crowd to the area um also noted that there was two kids um possibly their kids um standing next to them so as I made contact with him to deescalate the situation uh took his hands put him behind his back um two kids seen it uh they were obviously upset and begging us not to take their dad to jail um kind of keep them calmed down get the dad away from the situation kind of get him calmed down and stuff uh I just I kept his hands behind his back escorted him kind of off the property into the parking lot placed him down on the uh the curb um was able to get his information get a brief statement of what had happened um there was a series of events that had taken place uh prior to our arrival about an hour earlier um at a different location um they kind of got back to the hotel um started drinking at the hotel bar and temper started flaring and stuff like that which caused um the issues um officer reev stood by with uh the male I made contact with a female and uh she stated that both of them had been drinking um once again the prior issues had been brought up um they walked out into the parking lot to kind of get away from everything verbal altercation ensued um and it got to the point that it kind of Drew a crowd from people that was inside the hotel coming out um got them separated once they they stayed separated um instead of going domestic violence we decided to actually Place him under arrest for public ints he admitted to drinking uh three or four whiskey drinks and a couple of beers um he had bloodshot eyes um slurred speech while talking to him he was staggering on his feet and uh you could smell like alcoholic beverage coming from his uh his breath um so officer Reeves placed him under arrest for public in transported him Ox for City Jail um I made contact back with the female to kind of update her uh the male is going to have a 8 Hour hold and we'll have to blow triple zeros on our Drager machine before he can bond out um once he was booked in we were good to go so we're going to a call of a pickup truck at an intersection and and the driver is slumped over the caller stated that he uh passed the vehicle a few minutes ago and came back in that same direction and the vehicle and the gentleman is still slumped over so we're in patrol car had paramedics come and check on his girlfriend they're going to take her to the hospital for further evaluation um he'll have to do a 24 24-hour mandatory hold in our our jail before he can even make bond and that would give her time to get a PFA or whatever she would like to do to basically protect herself from him what's PFA uh protection from abuse order yeah all right we got a call of a possible intoxicated driver in the Drive-Thru or the parking lot of Olive Garden so me and officer price are going to try to make contact with the individual and uh find out what's going on issue I kind of feel like if you're sober you should know where your driver's license are so at this moment I don't have anything as far as him um actually been intoxicated but I'm trying to figure that out um he's not safe to drive based off of what I've observed so I'm going to get him I'm going to get him out of the vehicle and see if I can't get him to speak with me further see if I can sure you're safe to oper vehic and right now what I'm looking at I I don't feel like you're safe to operate a vehicle you don't mm they just my that has nothing to do with it can you step out of the I or no answer um the Jeep to my right was the Jeep given they thought that the male may be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage um so we got here and made contact with him um while speaking with him he had slurred speech um I didn't immediately get a odor of an alcohol beverage coming from his person I inquired um about a cup that he might have had in the center console he told me it was coffee um it's currently 4:30 in the afternoon it's kind of an odd time to drink coffee um I also noticed that he had on a side of Ridge golf hat um which means he was probably playing golf um like I said playing golf drinking alcohol it seems to be a thing um also the lady that we made contact with who is an uh a worker here made contact with him initially and uh he made statements to her saying that he had been drinking all day been playing golf all day all of that kind of stuff um I asked him out of the vehicle to further my investigation um noticed that he leaned up against the vehicle and uh to me that's a sign of possible intoxication um he did um go through fi Bri um he did not do so great he faed all three portions of that and based off that um I felt that he's less safe to operate a vehicle he was placed under arrest for DUI and off to the jail we go we're headed out to Spring Street we got a report of a male shooting off rounds out of a handgun uh don't know any further it's uh going to be in C County's jurisdiction um but they probably don't have a deputy close by so they're asking for us to back them up due to the nature of the call we can usually get there a little quicker so we're going to go out there with the uh the units that have already been and see if we can't locate this individual what's going on buddy remember me yeah I remember you Kyle how you doing the one that went there and said he was ready to kill him you guys got a couple deputies here all right I'm make sure my star just go with me leaving if you guys anything holler yeah no problem Woodard so we assisted Cen County Sheriff's Office uh with a call about a male uh shooting off shots uh we got there and assisted them um C county is going to finish finish up the investigation but as of right now they've got one male detained uh and they're questioning two others it looks like a dispute um between two households over livestock and uh both parties are pretty much saying that the other side shot at them first so the uh the sheriff's office has got two additional investigators on their way to take statements and uh collect evidence they're picking up shell casings off the ground trying to piece together what really happened but uh since they just called for assistance and we've already got one detained and enough uh deputies there to hold the scene now uh all of the Oxford units are going to go ahead and get back in service1 all right so we're pulling up on scene atono Lodge a person staying at the hotel called and said um okay here C said somebody knocked on her door appeared to be homeless asking for help so we're going to get out here and see what's going on with her make sure she's okay they had a similar call about a suspicious person's last night and it we'll try to give people rides if we can right if calls permitting things like that but we need a specific address to take a person to because we're not just going to drop them off in some other city so another jurisdiction has to deal with that we don't want that happen to us we're not going to do that to another another Police Department um she refused to give us an address to take her to she said she had a place in hefin but she she refused to give us an actual address so at that point there's nothing else we can do so uh I'm sure we'll get more calls on her throughout the day but if we
