typically act like they're alarm companies or they act like they're um selling stuff just so they can go inside the resident and they try to act like they can go inside the resid so that way they can kind of scope out what they want to steal and stuff like that um typically happens quite frequently but biggest thing is don't let strangers in your house I guess um so we're going to go in here and talk to the RP he didn't let anyone in the house he said he he let them stand by the front door but that was it so he said they told him that he would be they would be back by 2 p.m um so we'll see exactly if they're here or not if they ever showed up so we'll go talk to the RP and see if we can get a better description on them as well good afternoon good afternoon so what's going on uh we had a couple people come in about I about 1015 this morning said they were from uh Brinks Home Security okay they were going to check out my keep keypad whatever the hell you want to call thing on the wall and I said one guy had look I guess it's an iPad and he was telling about different types of things he says I need to look at your unit I said okay I let to look in stick his head in the door so he could see he says it's a 2K or something or other he said that's one of the things they probably going to have to replace I said okay he said I need to come in sit down at your table go over this with you I well I got an appointment at 10:30 so you have to come back he said okay we'll be back in about 2:00 mhm in the meantime after he left I called Brink security they didn't know [ __ ] about this guy he was a guy about about his height size maybe a little heavier uh dark complexion I couldn't tell if he was uh Native American a middle east or afroamerican okay he was dressed in all dark clothes he had white blue white uh probably Nike shoes or whatever and there was a girl with him she had a a black top and white shorts on and she was going be about I don't know maybe 25 26 years old well it was he was standing here by the door know about that far from the door talking she's standing way back here in the background and she looked like she was nervous apprehensive about what was going on uhhuh that's the thing I noticed about her and they said well we'll be back and after I called bring security you know they told no they if there's somebody coming we call you and notify you yeah tell you who it's going to be what time they're going to be there individual's name okay so after we we had some stuff we had to do after we come back I called you guys office explain to the girl on the phone what was going on our dispatch okay yeah and nobody's ever showed up uh they were driving I couldn't tell if it was a Nissan Toyota it was a black four-door sedan but they weren't driving their Brinks vehicle no no and he had an ID badge on but I couldn't see anything on the badge what said or anything like that okay and they stopped down at the not not Jerry's house but at Bill and sher's house I don't think they went in cuz they have Brink security too okay and I saw the car down there next thing I know I heard the door slam and they they took off I don't think they went inside yeah okay to me it sounds like some type of a scam they want to get in the house get in the house see what they can come in and steal or they want to try to wait till you're not here and break in because they already kind of have a layout of what your house looks like and what they want to steal he didn't see much in my house that's good that's good yeah typically um cuz we've had that a few times where people would actually allow them in the house cuz obviously they sound convincing or whatever the case may be um same thing it's like don't talk to strangers don't let strangers in your house you know he said we need to come in and sit down at your table I got an appointment at 10:30 so you'd have to come back and on top of that it's like we can talk outside you don't need to come
