we're headed over to uh suspicious right now it's just a adult female standing next to a vehicle with a broken windshield um yeah she has some binoculars and the reporting party thinks that the vehicle might be stolen so we're gonna go down there and try and make contact with the female and take a look at the vehicle and see what's going on with it so right now I'm just looking for a van uh dashvin is all messed up so the VIN should be here South 14 copy event so 14 can you repeat so we're getting clear right now for a suicide threat I believe someone's inside it right now another day how are you good my wife ran out of gas right here in the car and then uh yeah she's bringing me a gallon of gas I came down here okay where'd you get the car from I got it over in Henderson yeah you got any paperwork on it no no no paperwork because I don't have anything coming from it you got an ID on you no she's got it in her purse okay because we were just out here and nobody was here with us yeah she walked home over there to uh she ran out of gas and she walked to get it the gas and then she's supposed to be coming back yeah South 14 I'll be out with us one WMA how you doing today I'm bought by somebody else and it's stolen oh no no it's what I did because I traded the truck in on it a brand new Dodge a four-wheel drive so you traded this do you have any of the paperwork a title a bill of sale paperwork from the dealership any of that uh there was some of their Outlaws it's just a yes or no I don't need a full story I'm sorry you don't have nothing okay all right so right now um we're just seeing if we got a transport unit available to come and transport this metal detention if uh we have to end up transporting them ourselves that's fine we just gotta route all our Avenues Parable condition he was in control of it he had some drugs on him he also has a warrant out of our agency traffic warrant so so he's going to jail uh this vehicle is staying with me kidding please medical reasons I get that a lot of people do but at the same time it's still you know it's a controlled substance illegal drug um he took the chance of carrying it on him he took the chance of when the vehicle was out of the garage vehicle doesn't have any registration no insurance should not be on the roadways and typically you know it's about a year ago it's probably not going to get registration and insurance on it if it hasn't at this point what are the keys to this thing who has them a key fob and if he doesn't have them then it's probably at the house hey John where's the key fob at least she never gave it to me when I went home I mean when I was at home she came and said that she went out of gases with all the yellow was screaming out of gas I never had it I was just stuck here with it he's saying you have the key fob on you where's it at searched him he had like two three grams of meth front pocket um he was sitting in a that red Challenger right off the side of gonna move him from the room we had him in down here to booking real quick just for them help them out a little bit all right let's walk come out hang a left we got him hooked for the warrant there's a traffic warrant out of our agency um we also got them on the possession of a control substance we got to do some testing on it make sure it is uh methamphetamine and uh we'll go from there get our Declaration of rest all finished up so we can get it booked in so we've got our uh he said it was meth it looks like meth we'll go inside get it tested um go from there then we got to get our Declaration of arrest done get it down to booking so he can get booked on his charges but yeah this is generally what I'll take it out and test it but small plastic baggie it's pretty consistent with how they carry around there they're dope so it's a little good find this is the narcotics we retrieved off the mail I believe to be narcotics matches uh consistency of meth so we use Nick narcotics identification system this is just kind of like a field test that we can do to see if the narcotic is you know presumptive positive for whatever we believe it is we just need a tiny tiny tiny amount you put it in a little flick get it down to the bottom two and three just do some dabbing so it's blue it's presumptive positive for methamphetamine um pretty much what we believed it was going to be so here we have our chart each test is labeled for the amount so we used U Reds amphetamine blue is methamphetamine I'd say this is between one one and two grams way more than one is two grams so then what we do from here this can all get tossed this has to get evidence taped and then it'll be put into a small baggie like this evidence bag which will have all the information on it for the case we pull a pouch number or an item number and then we'll book this into evidence the mail that we brought in he's being denied by the jail medical staff because his fingers is apparently falling off so we're gonna go take a look um they're denying which means we're gonna have to take him to a hospital [Laughter] [Music] oh yeah it's pretty good you know so it's only me right now I'm not acting but I'm only I'm only in charge right now do you have anyone that can sit on about the hospital [Music] like that to pick it up and it cuts you yeah how long ago that happen to the doctor yeah you should have I was like but I come to a point where like I don't care anymore I mean who cares but that's like the least of my problems they're probably going to end up taking him back to the hospital um because the warrant's the only thing because we have additional charges but because of the warrant someone's gonna have to sit on him so I'll see if we can do something about that warrant so we've been on this call for a total of five hours and 21 minutes from the first contact with the mail to now we've spent the last three hours and 12 minutes at the hospital the mail suffered an injury to his ring finger on his right hand yesterday got all covered in the glue from the vehicle basically what happened is he needed to be transported to our not our but Las Vegas is UMC trauma for evaluation to his hand because they could not perform it here we went ahead and called the judge the judge lifted his warrant we took him out of custody will be long forming the drug charges so those will still be being charged against him through the D.A he's just not going to jail today so hopefully he can get into Vegas get his hand taken care of and and uh yeah let's just charges and still be there and for the future
