properly fastened especially when you're going 93 and it just rained okay that could be considered child neglect which is felony I'm just explaining to you this the severity of you know what going 93 and 55 is with a kid that's not strapped in properly okay can be that make sense okay it should be it should be a very is it your kid okay so it should should be a pretty important thing to you cuz if you were to slide after it just rained with all the oil and stuff on the road and he's not properly fast and he's going to get thrown out the window and die okay you have a full car seat at your house oh it's probably be a great idea okay you have a good license ma'am yes you get the registration insurance in there for your vehicle baby you guys are doing live again no they're another another film minutes I'll be right back okay all so we were sitting on the side of the road here trying to finish up um some research from our last call which we're going to go back to and we're in a 55 Zone it just rained and this car came up behind us at 94 mph we uh got the radar locked in at 93 and then they have a three-year-old that's 60 lb in the back seat his seat belt's not properly fastened and he's not in the proper car seat either so they're very close supposed to get in their car towed except they have a kid it's raining very uh it was raining a minute ago weather's not great so I'm not going to tellw their car but uh she's definitely going to get a grand amount of citations here um so is it your child too no not your child not my child just yours okay huh yeah so do you have your ID then too okay I see that real quick so well I'm going to make it an even even thing here a fair thing so you're driving so you're also responsible for the child not being in a child safety restraint because you're operating the vehicle and you're in physical control of that and passenger in the car all right see that thank you all right so and you're the dad so you're also responsible for the child not being in a car seat okay so you're getting two tickets all right number one 43 M hour reckless driving in the rain wet roads Okay so you're get a citation for that and the Child Safety restraint required because again if you're operating a vehicle you got to have child safety restraints and again he wasn't even properly in his regular seat Bel okay so again lesson for that so court has to give you a date for that so you make sure you call the court before they put nine or they have to give you the total amount for it okay so make sure you call the court before 911 2024 you can go on the website if the website does not give you the information need call the court give it about a week before they get the system and you can call them at the phone number listed all information on the back make sure you call them if you don't then you have a warrant for these two okay so there's your copy there all right since you're the since you're the dad I'm going give you the same citation as far as a child safety restraint all right and it's probably going to be the same date okay but you got to put him in the right seat and you can't be obviously going that fast with him in the right seat so um so we stopped that car we're in a 55 Zone we were trying to finish an investigation that we went back to actually to see if these people we just talked to are there but this car passes a 93 and a 55 it just rained so the roads are slick I get up to the car there's a three-year-old kid in the back seat not in a car seat just bebopping around without his seat Bel on properly um so I ended up giving the driver a citation for reckless which I don't often do Just For Speed but with the speed rain kid in the back reckless driving so she got that citation 43 over the speed limit and then she got a sight for the child restraint and then dad was in the passenger seat so he also got a sight for the child restraint cuz they both knew the kid was 3 years old and she's driving she's responsible he's dad he's also responsible so for her it's about a th000 something dollar Citation for him it's probably over 500 and something like that but court will determine all that stuff but hopefully it learns a lesson for them they don't drive like that with their kid in the car his kid in the car recklessly so I going to go back to our previous call and try to uh affect an arrest on somebody if we can so we're getting dispatched to a outside fire the uh RP is saying that they can see bright orange Flames they're saying that the Flames are as tall as trees unknown what's actually on fire RP saying could be a controlled burn but they're not sure it looks like we got fire heading this way as well so we're going to go see what's going on with these flames and if it is a controlled burn you can't have a controlled burn at this time of the year just because everything's so dry um so they could be looking at a possible citation as well so we'll see we'll see what's going on all right now we're at Ling for this uh supposed Flames as tall as trees not seeing anything so far not really smelling anything either so far it looks like it's Code 4 but we're going to keep driving around just make sure we don't miss anything here ah there we are it looks like the address at is doing some sort of controlled burn so we're going to go ahead and see what's going on these people Sheriff's Office hello hey is everything good back there yeah just okay somebody was like man we're seeing Flames as tall as trees okay what are you burning some uh okay yeah I don't I band's on okay here let me help you out here doing some weeding yeah see what the fire department wants to do do see the gentleman is putting the fire out he said he was doing a control weed burn gentlemen how are you how you doing doing all right so it's said he was doing a weed burn okay yeah I think the the the band The Fire Band still on right oh yeah no burning right now yeah no burning no there's no burning burning season's closed now put a lot of water yeah all right we appreciate it no more burning okay make sure you stir that up good cuz uh there's storm yeah no I will that storm comes in it's going to be big winds yeah I will do with the rake and put more water in it yeah okay thank you all right sir thank you okay good night all right so we pulled up and the fire wasn't that bad um so fire got there shortly after I did and they basically told the gentleman that he cannot be doing any burning around this time um I mean it is we are in summertime and it is dry out here there's a lot of dry weeds and stuff so that fire could spread very quickly and it is over 100 degrees outside so I can see why the burn band's in place um fire just decided to give him a warning let him know that uh they basically they don't want to be back out and if they are he's going to be looking at a citation so he has been uh advised and everything is good to go from here we're clearing out out so right now we are heading to a just confirming no one involved just calling in at all this going to be airmed both parties are witnesses oh both parties are witnesses to this it appears that there is a road rage incident that is occurring um all the people that are involved right now are witnesses the ones who are actually involved in the actual road rage incident with baseball bat are leaving from what it sounds like um actually yeah so it's a d it's a um road rage incident between people who are driving away now they're leaving the scene so we'll go down there and see exactly if we can either find the one of the vehicles involved or if we can actually try to locate these people and see exactly what's going on with that k for he's going to be in local he does not have any cautions listed he has a drug call as a suspect in February he you know my thing is about that stuff want to come with a baseball bat trying to hit me say he wants it say he wants me you're mine and I'm like I'm standing right here he's not H me a baseball bat I'm not scared of Fight You got a baseball I'm not about to fight some Bas swing he was swinging at me everything like like the Bas came like this close to me trying to hit me I keep dodging my on sticks trying to whack me and [ __ ] like and what was that today right yeah today trying to R it is all right either one of you want to do a statement got you yep I am getting some written statements for these two individuals um basically what these two are going to do they're going to put a written statement of what happened I know they gave us a verbal statement of it but they're going to put it in paper because if they would do want to press charges and stuff like that then ultimately the courts will read their statement they can go back in court if they do go to court they can go back in court and read their statement to be able to see that hey this is what I said on this day because who knows when the actual court date will be it could could be years from now could be you know um you may forget pertinent details and stuff like that so it's better to have it on paper so right now I'm just going to give them their written statements so that way they can write everything down of what happened um put the people who are involved and so that way also when my partner does his report it'll have all the information for him needed for his report all right so these are your written statements pretty much I just need your guys' information so your info details have address that's fine you don't need to put an address you can just get a phone number if you got a phone number number for my address or something yeah that's fine or just anyway we can contact you so um phone number works too or if you work somewhere if you want to put that address which I don't think you probably want the cop on to work if you work um so you can just put a phone number that's fine uh just basically the details of what happened you guys were driving if you remember which way you're going northbound on everything okay cool so then I might need a little bit more room than look at that yeah if you wanted to just do the written statement portion of it now like just write everything will happen while it's still fresh in your head you can do that now and my partner can just hold on to it and I'm ready now before I forget yeah and then I'm going come back and ask some more questions okay did you do the windshield too or was that already there no wind oh really damn yeah that's that's the part where you'd be able to take him to civil court and hold him liable for that and the Civil side too not only criminal side but civil side too so that way you can get reimbursed or him have to pay for the damages and stuff pict truck rever oh but I love him though thank goodness it's good car might be hot on your dashboard I don't know if you want to do it in your car or something if you're going to get this looked at and figure out what you want to do from there just take that home fill that out bring it down to the sheriff office talk to B at the window and he can get you started depending on what you want to do yeah take a picture possibly be like a t with a deadly weapon because he if he intentionally you know all that other stuff just also when he came out with the baseball bat he came out with baseball bat we picked up some rocks I picked some rocks and I hit his bone but that's under self defense right he was trying to hit me the baseball bat he came up to us this is what happened he pulled over here he pulled he pulled around I pulled to the side I parked my car mhm he starts running up him and his wife with the baseball bat that's when we hopped out he came right over there I when I was still in the car you hopped out I was no we didn't even hop out he started smashing my windows then we H out yeah we didn't even hop out we were like what I threw a rock and didn't even hit him before I threw a rock he started he smashed all my windows already and then I hopped out cuz he smashing the windows and I half my two home goes back there and they're they're they're crying they're crying and so I was like no that's my home GH right so I hit his bone but he was trying to hit me with the bat because when we're rolling the window up um he was like he was trying to hit me with the B cuz I was hit that um side first mhm inside hi hello can I help you yeah we're just seeing if your guys' cameras Point towards the street area you want me to see if my camera yeah it I we have I'll look but we have it to where it's not really more down stre yeah owner uh it's like a big video file though that's fine yeah uh where do you stay at right here okay cool I just didn't want to come out here I didn't want to get involved I feel you I get you I 100% get you I'll drive over there and come meet up with you okay yeah so like this is when I when I clipped it right here but you can see he's coming this way and then the charger is coming the other way and then he goes and cuts the charger off like right here aims for him and then there you go pops out with a batter machete or something [Music] as when he's hitting the windshield what they say happen a road rage oh yeah they know him he's unfortunately kind of sounds like the victim he's beef with his this guy for a long time and I guess oh he's the victim or these guys uh he's our suspect now yeah they've been the suspect since but yeah he's our victim and stuff like that he's like dude I was just driving he's like this dude that's what it looked like oh I've never seen this car on the street there's only a few of us on here so that's why I was like it's got to be some sort of road rage situation or something yeah we got him identified now too oh right on hell yeah yeah and like it's just a whole bunch of bouncing I don't know did anybody get hit with the bat or something or uh so he smashed his window out I don't know if there was a person in the passenger seat I don't believe so there might have been yeah I think there was when I I think yeah I think we probably missed it but I think somebody jumped out mhm nice yeah cuz I've seen that truck around but I haven't seen that car ever ever so so in regards to this whole road rage incident um we just saw video surveillance from a neighboring um resident he showed us the video showing the male getting out of the white pickup truck with the baseball bat smashing out the uh black Dodge Chargers window and saw the whole commotion seeing that he's the primary aggressor for this so we have enough as far as charges for him as being the primary aggressor so right now we're going to wait on our uh victim to get an estimate of how much the vehicle cost for the damages and then if he does decide in fact he wants spress charge we'll take the report for that and we'll go make contact with the adverse party the uh party with the baseball bat and see exactly what their story is
