so we're getting a call that this lady reported her dog stolen earlier this week she just drove by and saw the dog at the address we're currently heading out to him she says her dogs chipped so she's down the street um near the house we're gonna go see if uh this dog is in fact hers and if so return it to her if not charge somebody stealing a dog [Music] someone stole your dog right here showing he's my dog I got my license right here he's more down the road down there I just saw he pulled up he's home so how do you know they stole it did it get out or did so what happened is you heard about the Michaels Ammons um no oh Michael Garcia this is my boyfriend's cousin and that was he um see like uh yeah okay yeah I think I know jungle yeah or it's your cousin's boyfriend 's cousin Okay so the boy the cousin Michael that's his brother stepbrother whatever and um from what I heard he broke into my dad's house and took the dog oh so you know who this is I know who he is I just I've been waiting for a cop I've been waiting like I just found his house and I caught two I talked to uh Sheriff Smith Christopher Smith or something like that he said to call a detective or a sheriff or someone as soon as I found out where he lived so I can show you guys my paperwork and we'd go over there and get my dog okay so what paperwork you got here this is showing that he is my dog my ownership um I paid for all this red healer mix red white like they said his name's trigger I paid for all of his shots I paid for everything um but so this dog was at the house on Atkinson yes yes do you live there why is it your dog my boyfriend's dog it's Michael's dog but he too my boyfriend and that's why they put it under my name because I was the only one who had an ID I didn't stole it from your boyfriend's house yeah yeah my boyfriend's dad's house we go there you live at 3161 Z Street yes yes do you know um Jacqueline Grenier Cummings oh okay that's my boyfriend's aunt's house it's your boyfriend's last name okay would your boyfriend say anything about the dog being here like did he give it to him nothing like that nope so the story is when I go talk to him is he broke into the axis the house on Atkins Atkinson's and took the dog took the dog okay and we know that because why exactly okay all right um just hang out here I'm gonna go down there and then I'll call you okay okay I don't really know who owns the dog She's Got Papers saying it's chipped so um we'll see if we can't just fix this verbally who's a good boy hey how you doing so um I guess somebody's reporting let's be straight up with you somebody's reporting that they're dogs here that it was stolen what are you doing yeah I guess she had her dog taken it's a red healer I think it's the dog that's back lives here my wife is here I think it's a red dog that's a Healer that's a Healer oh that's the one maybe we'll hear about the dog so I guess there's a there's a girl down the street who says this is her dog and she and she has it shipped okay yeah how did you how did you get the dog so so this was his dog correct and then this is who this is a girlfriend of do you know who I'm talking about Jasmine sailor you don't even know who that is did you get permission to go in there did you yes you did would you get permission from okay all right all right the reason I'm asking that bro is I got have your ID on you hey go ahead and come up here and just park behind our vehicles go so he was staying at the house your boyfriend who lives at this house [Music] went with you to go tag the dog came back and now somehow he's got the dog she's telling me he had permission I don't know who he had permission to go inside the house and take the dog how am I supposed to tell who am I supposed to believe here like I don't okay well it's his brother so he's saying he's next of kin and he was allowed to go inside the house and get his brother's belongings okay but he's has the right to his brother's belongings right what was Mr Garcia's closest relative was it parents okay and his mom do you have any kids have a wife so that makes him mix of kin I love text message proof that Michael said that is Jason's dog yeah before he passed yes yes I have to go back to my house and get the phone but I do have text message proof saying my poop that is Jason's dog that's proof right there the dog is in your name I know but it's weird because he's passed away now and he's saying that it was always his brother's dog and he has the right to his brothers stuff it doesn't it doesn't I'm telling you it doesn't matter in terms of the law he's next to Kennedy he can get his brother's stuff so if I show you text message proof saying Michael gave that dog to Jason we get that dog can I can I see it a text message it's not on my phone you didn't bring your proof to you thought I thought I could show you the paperwork and get my dog because that's what the officer I talked to today okay well I don't think he understood the full situation but Ray Williamson the guy who originally owned this dog he has since passed away I know I know both of them okay so this guy is next of kin it's his brother um and Mom and Dad are not here now this is this is the chip for the dog she has a chip in the dog under her name what she's saying is that she has text messages she doesn't have them honor of course that the dog was her boyfriend's okay and he her boyfriend Michael no her boyfriend is just a friend of Mr Garcia that passed away she says she has text messages of Mr Garcia saying he can have the dog and then he came one day to get you know uh his brother's belongings because he's Mexican and took the dog with the belief that it was still his brothers so I don't know who owned the dog after he passed oh so oh sounds like oh brother who didn't own the dog and that it was someone but there's text messages between his buddy and Michael I have about the dog the thing is he it looks like he gave the possession of dog to somebody else and they literally have paperwork saying it's chipped yeah of course you want to look at it right there yeah it's got her name on it her address it's got the kind of dog that it is okay it's a Healer Cattle Dog two years zero months it's got its rabies vaccine whatever this is the dog and she she has it shipped yeah sure no I appreciate it okay so that's the people's uh why can't you guys run the chip and see I don't think we can but if you go to the vet they can is that like the collar you found on her yes this is the color that's always been on him ever since my brother got him too does it say anything on the collar um no it just says this right here what's the serial number here I'm gonna read it back to you 981-02045-353-091 that's what I got bro so she's probably gonna go with the tugman it's got her a serial number on it South 6th South 16. South 6 South 16 the cereal the serial number on the microchip matches up with this paperwork so I'm gonna go ahead and bring him over there um do you think you'd be okay if I took him over there the dog no I mean like you think the dog's gonna freak out no I mean you want me to walk into the car for you yeah or just just out here and look dude if you so you you have an attorney and whatnot right or no no so if you want you can grieve this in court and say it's your dog um bringing evidence you have right now all the evidence we have says it's theirs I mean I literally have pictures instructions he's gonna go with somebody else for now nope come on come on come here hi buddy yep so he he's wrong to give you guys a dog I mean we talked to him and we told him about everything that we have shows that it's yours um he might contact the public administrator as far as you know his brother's belongings so yeah all right pretty simple cut and dry one I mean at the end of the day she's got the proper paperwork that she was able to provide had all the serial numbers on it he's not a religious with no problem but he was worried he had warrants bye buddy says Williamson said you know he's acting kind of funny I think he was worried he had warrants he ended up having nothing he gave the dog over no issue he was just obviously kind of upset about it but everything told us that she owned the dog as weird as it was so she at the end of the day is going to give the dog I'm just glad there's no issues and he didn't give us too much of a fuss [Music]
