Be courteous. Thank you very much, sir. Ma'am, that drink won't be able to come inside. I said that I >> I appreciate that ladies and I stand right here. [Applause] >> She stated that if you continue to take >> What crime have I committed? >> Are you going to let me talk? >> To be trespassed from a public lobby, I have to first commit a crime. >> He eventually steps outside but doesn't go far. Class C warrants. I've already explained. >> What warrants? You haven't explained anything. >> You have nine class warrants. >> I understand what you're saying, [ __ ] >> But you're not telling me what warrants, son. I don't have any. >> Instead of exercising his so-called first amendment rights, he ends up in cuffs over the nine outstanding traffic warrants under his name. >> How you going to arrest me and not tell me what I'm arrested for? >> You haven't told me anything. You just came up and put your hands on me. >> We both know I'm not even going to see magistrate today, man. Oh man, >> do what I want to do. I guess you can't leave my phone right there, sir. My property. That's my property. >> It'll be in your property. >> He's taken into custody, leaving behind the unresolved debate about federal property photography. Number three, sovereign citizen refuses every command and traffic stop. It's a Friday night and police stop a driver during a routine roadside check. As soon as officers approach, the man behind the wheel starts recording and launching into sovereign citizen rhetoric. >> Well, this is unfortunate, isn't it, soldier? What is that? Sorry. >> This is unfortunate. >> Yeah. >> We've got an upstanding community member, have we? >> Do indeed. >> Do you ever raise arms against a civilian? >> Oh, I wouldn't do that. >> Good lad. >> You got your license handy, mate? >> No. Thank you. >> Where you headed? >> What? >> Where you headed? >> Just too long. >> What are you heading down too long for? >> Cuz I can. >> Hey, >> cuz I can. All right. Hi. >> No, thank you. >> What's your name, officer? >> Jamie Giller. So, we'll stop the vehicle here. I seriously need to clean my windows by the looks of that. >> Anyway, >> let's just keep it recording. What are your names, officer? >> My name's Jamie Gillard. I'm a sergeant police station. >> Okay. Who are you, sir? >> With driver's license under the road safety act because you've been driving a vehicle today. Well, interesting because I've had a conversation with I've had a conversations with Vic Roads. >> Yep. >> Sorry. I'm just hearing you. >> Well, that's okay. You're not going to break my window, are you? >> What? >> You're not going to break my window? >> No, not at all. >> The officer is asked multiple times for his name, license, and proof of registration. The man refuses each time and makes up several excuses. >> No. >> Right. So now I've had a conversation with Vic Roads who have got the commercial instrument through and I am not required to carry a license. >> No, no, no. But you need to tell give us your license whilst you're driving a vehicle. >> No, I don't need to do anything. >> No, you do. >> No. So, are you familiar with rights? >> You're required to state your name and address. >> No, I'm not required to. No. No. No. >> So, just just be cautioned. You're being filmed. >> Yep. We're well aware of that. >> And you're being recorded. >> Yeah, you're being recorded. State your name and address. Otherwise, we'll have to arrest you for the purposes of ID. >> No, thank you. >> Sorry. >> No, thank you. >> Come on. >> Do you just want to get out your license and then it's all over with, mate? >> No, thank you. >> Is this car registered to you? >> Have you read the notice? >> Is this car registered to you? >> I do not contract with your corporation anymore. >> Are you familiar with rights? >> All right, listen carefully. I now require you to undergo a test. No, thank you. >> Oh, refusal. I now explain the consequences to you. If you fail to provide me a sample of your oral fluid, you think this is funny, do you? >> I don't contract. >> If you failed to provide a sample of your oral fluid, you'll be charged with that offense. And if you're found guilty at court, you'll lose your license for 2 years. If you got a prior conviction for either or drink driving, you'll lose your license for four years. >> No, thank you. Are you still refusing to undergo >> a preliminary oral fluid test? >> Yes, I am. >> And I've got the device right in my hand. >> Yes, I know. >> Now I'm asking you to provide ID. >> No, thank you. >> Car registered to you. >> None of your business. >> No, it's not. But we'll do a um >> I don't consent to any commercial ID, mate. Driving a motor vehicle. >> I've spoken to Vic Roads about this. I've got the commercial instrument through Vic Roads. >> Do a radio check first. If it comes up to him, I'm happy with ID. If it doesn't come up to him, I'm going to break your window. >> No, you won't. Thank you. >> Despite being warned, the man sticks to his script. He refuses to confirm if the vehicle is registered to him, denies being subject to road safety laws and behaves like this. >> I'm going to sue you if you break my window. >> Power for us while we're talking to you. What? >> Can you please turn your car off while I'm chatting to you? >> Car is off, >> man. It is off. I can't. Is the car registered to you? >> It is none of your business. >> Okay, we'll do a check. >> Yeah. >> Right. Another thing. You are not to leave this site until I authorize you to leave. All right. >> No, I don't consent to that. >> Leave. You'll be copying another offense. >> I don't consent to that. >> I'm getting a breath test device. I'm going to check you for alcohol. >> I don't consent to that either. >> What's your name? >> None of your business. >> We've got to confirm your identity. No, you don't. >> You're driving a motor vehicle. >> I've had the right to privacy, don't I? You >> Because you're driving a motor vehicle. We've got to >> What's the crime? Road safety act. >> What's the crime? >> You're driving a motor vehicle? >> No. >> Okay. >> All rights are reserved. >> You have any photo ID on you? >> All rights are reserved on the commercial instrument through Vic Roads. Right. >> Now, now listen. >> That's okay. You can have to say just so you're aware you're driving a motor vehicle. We've got to confirm your identity. >> No, you don't. It is none of your business. Right. >> Sit on. >> It's none of your business. >> Make some inquiries. >> Yeah, you make some inquiries, but it is none of your business. I do not contract with your corporation anymore. Now, I have the right of refusal, right? Don't I? >> Uh, you don't. Okay. >> Yes, I do. Pursuant to high court, >> you don't. Okay. That's all right. You're right. >> Yes, I do. >> All right. That's okay. All right. You don't. >> And I don't consent to any commercial charges. Right. >> Now, if you do any violence tonight, it will be on YouTube. It's live on YouTube. All right. >> It's all recorded. >> Good. Well, don't do it. >> If you want to save your battery, it's all being recorded. >> No, don't do any violence. >> Wearing cameras. Okay. I know what your corporation's like. You're trying and you got the problem same problem at Kensington Flats. >> Right. I recall you to undergo a breath test to my satisfaction. Are you going to provide a sample of your breath for analysis? >> No. >> He says he doesn't recognize the authority of the police, refuses to identify himself, and claims he doesn't contract with the government. >> I'm all ready to go. >> No, thank you. >> What's your reason for refusing a breath test? cuz I have rights. >> And I'll just explain the consequences for refusing. If you refuse to undergo a breath test, you'll be charged with that offense. If you're found guilty at court, you'll be um you'll lose your license for two years. If you got a prior conviction for um refused or drink driving offens or you'll lose your license for four years. >> No, thank you. Very lovely offer. No, thank you. >> I happy with that. confirmation of ID. >> We're just doing a few more checks to confirm your ID. >> I think you might have been one of the ones that held me down two weeks ago. Not a problem. >> I've never met you before. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Not me. >> You seem nice. >> Just trying to do our job. >> I get that. >> Doing it correctly. >> I get that. But I'm also doing my job as well as a citizen. I'm holding civil rights and explain exposing Victoria Police Corporation with their contracts. So, I'm doing my job as well. >> So, you do you are aware that I have rights, aren't you? >> All right. They're aware too, aren't they? >> Yeah, we are. >> Good. He continues referencing high court rulings, claiming he's exercising rights that override state law and insists that unless there's an injured party, there's no crime. So they're taking service of the uh legal instrument there rating the instrument. So, uh sun >> um what this is all about is Victoria Police assisted steal my children seven years ago. So, since then I have learned 16 Campbell Street. >> Sir, it's none of your business. None of your business. >> There's no injured party. It's none of your business. >> I can't hear you. Sorry. >> There's no injured party. It's none of your business. >> We're not talking about injured parties. >> Uh-huh. I know. >> I'm asking to confirm your address. >> Not interest. None of business. None business. >> Do you have people break this window in to confirm his address for purposes of ID? >> Okay. You do not have any consent to cause violence here. >> Yeah. We haven't confirmed. >> You have. It is none of your business, sir. >> I need to confirm your address. >> It is none of your business. Right. This is live on YouTube, so it's none of your business. Right. >> When was his last >> I have the right to contract, don't I? >> Irrelevant, mate. It is talking about I've had the right of refusal pursuant to high court. A legitimate court, not like your magistrate court, which is a civil court. >> Well, if that's a false address on there on there, >> it's none of your business. >> I'm just I'm explaining something to you. False address, you'll be charged with that offense as well. All right. At the moment, I don't consent. I don't consent to any charges. >> I'm going to give you the offense of refusing breath test, refusing uh to do a test. >> No, thank you. >> And for refusing to state your name and address? >> No, thank you. >> All right. >> I do not consent to any commercial charges. >> Sorry. >> The man pushes back, calling the request commercial offers and repeating his refusal to contract or consent to anything. >> I do not consent to any commercial charges either. Now just just so we got this right. What's your reason for refusing this? >> Because I've got rights. They're upheld in the high court of Australia. A legitimate court. Not like your magistrate court. I've got the right to refuse any unsolicited commercial offers. Don't I? >> You you understand to do the test I explained before. Just repeating them for you. You you will be charged with that offense. Guilty at court, you will lose your license for a minimum of 2 years, a fine, and I don't know in your case, you may go to jail. >> No thank you. >> Very lovely offer, but no. >> The same applies to drink driving to do the drink driving. >> Very lovely offer, but no thank you. >> So, you're looking at another two years loss of license. And if you got a prior four years, >> no thank very lovely offer, but no thank you. >> All right. >> Going to have to >> You receive a whole heap of fine uh charges in the mail. >> No, thank you. >> You don't need this, do you? >> No. Yeah. >> No, no, no, no. >> It's your paper. >> It's your been You've been served, sir. >> You've been served a cease and desist notice. That's the notice. >> This is your piece of paper. I don't want that. >> Oh, really? I'm going to do the same to yours. >> I don't want your commercial charges either. >> What was your um question is that >> we just got some questions for you we need to ask. >> I know nothing. You know nothing about >> No issue that now get >> All right. We're just going to have to issue with you a ticket then. >> No, thank you. >> Well, what's your reason? >> What? Hang on. What? What do you mean? What's my reason? >> Well, you've come from an area that's in lockdown that you can only leave place of residence for four reasons and you come into a place that isn't. >> Yeah. Officers begin writing up a ticket which he also refuses to accept. That's my reason. So that's >> working today. >> I'm doing whatever I do. >> And what is that? >> Contract. What do you guys do? >> Sorry. >> Contract. >> Contract. >> And what do you guys do? >> Essential service. Sorry. We need to confirm whether >> Are you Are you Are you doing essential service? Contracting. >> I'm an essential worker. Yes. >> What about your contracts? Is that essential? is contracting their essential service. >> No. So, I don't consent to any of your commercial charges. I don't consent to any of your tickets. Right. You will receive a copy of the notice. Right. You will receive the instrument back. And if you put it through try and put it through the magistrate court. I've got the evidence here. And your magistrate court will cop a a cease and desist and a refusal as well. Right. So you do whatever you think you've got to do. >> So what we'll be doing today then is issuing you with a ticket. >> I don't consent to that and it's all recorded. >> Be um giving you a summon at a later date to go to court. >> I don't consent to that either. >> And you can certainly contest that at court and that's >> I won't be contested. It'll be a cease and desist notice and a refusal. >> All I've got all the evidence here. >> What's your reason for refusing to state your name? >> Cuz I've got rights. What's your reason for refusing to state your address? >> I have rights. >> They're upheld in a legitimate court, aren't they? The stop ends with officers explaining he'll receive a court summon for refusing to cooperate. Number two, sovereign citizen at the border pushes officers too far. Early in the morning, border officers encounter a woman acting strangely near a port of entry. She's seen walking with an orange cone and behaving in a way that gets their attention. Here's what happens next. >> Yeah. >> And she was walking kind of along here carrying the orange cone. Just not normal, right? >> Yeah. >> So, I kind I said, "Hey, what are you doing?" She's like, "Oh, I'm in a slur speech meeting somebody." I'm like, "From where?" And then soon as I went in real quick, get my my stuff. >> Yeah. Uh she got on her vehicle and then she been sitting there with the music up and has an open container right in the center console. >> Put down the window >> been drinking off it. And I think he just said she it looked like she had a on her too. Like >> nice. All right. >> Hey ma'am. So you're coming out of this car one way or another. So you can make it easier, you can make it difficult. >> Do you know where you are right now? >> Trying to find us. All right. So, yeah, >> I've already advised her she's under arrest, failing to obey and physical control. She's got a bottle of vodka in the center. I'm going to bust the window here and get her out. Hey, will you come outside and talk to me real quick, please? >> Pretty much refusing. >> Up until you guys got here, sh music blasting, just laying on the horn. >> Okay. Can you hear me? Do you know that you're under arrest? Can you come out and talk to me? Just come out and talk to me. Okay, you're okay. You're safe. Come talk to me. Okay, well then let's just talk. From the start, the driver refuses to recognize US authority, denying jurisdiction, refusing to hand over ID, and flat out refusing to step out of the car. >> Can you see what she's reaching for, guys? >> She's um >> Yeah, she wrote down earlier lawyer, Canadian citizen, what looked like some native tribe from Canada, and then Langly B. You know her name? No, I'm we're um my dispatch got back from me with an arrow, but I couldn't hear because >> Hey, you know you're in America still, though. That's the problem. >> Okay, why don't you come out and talk to me and we can get this all figured out real quick. >> Yeah, dude. The the line's right here. You're still on the America side. Just open the door for me. Come on. We'll get this solved real quick. We'll be done. Okay. Well, get out and then we'll talk and we'll you know, you can prove that you're not doing anything wrong. >> We're here to help you. That's all. >> Okay. We won't kick it forward. So, >> yeah. Hey, will you get out? Okay. Hey, we won't we won't touch your property if you come out and talk to us, right? But you're running the risk of force being used against you or your property getting damaged. We don't want to do that. What's your name? We got a couple more guys coming. Sweet. Will you come out here and talk to me? I just want to know what's going on. I just want to know your side of the story, that's all. >> If you're a Canadian citizen, do you want me to get the Canadian guys to talk? >> Officers warn her that if she doesn't comply, they'll break the window and remove her. >> Come out and they'll talk to you. Did you chase her up here? >> H >> Did you chase her up after you? >> No. Uh these guys called on me or called on her. >> Said she was uh walking around with that cone on the outside and then she got back in the car. >> 550. Go ahead. >> Yeah, let's do it. >> Say we're done. Come outside. You should use my phone. >> Phone. >> All right. >> What's up? >> How's it going? We have a few more guys to pull out. >> Sounds good. It's >> up to you. >> She might have warrants, too. I couldn't hear the descriptor, so I don't know if it's her or not. But >> hey, do me a favor. Just come out or we're going to have to break your window. We don't want to do that. Last very low volume confirming incoming units can slow down and get the vehicle in. Even after they explain clearly that she's under arrest for being in control of a vehicle while impaired, she continues talking like she's the one running the stop. >> Ready? >> Yep. >> So, here's the thing. Your property could get damaged or force could be used against you if you don't comply. We told you that you're under arrest. >> You know, lady >> all right. >> Hey, Drew. >> Yeah. >> Put positive pressure against his should be unlocked. Hey, so this is your last opportunity, okay? We're going to break the glass and we're going to come get you. >> This thing's kind of garbage. Turn your head away. >> You want to break that window on that side? >> Yeah. >> After repeated warnings, the officers move in and work to remove her from the vehicle. I'm going to go hair hold and we're going to pull right out here. >> No, please. No. Get up. Get up. >> Ham. She's trying to ram the barrier in my vehicle. We've got the vehicle pinned right now. I own it. >> I own the vehicle. >> Now we know you own it, but >> I don't mind any and I'm not doing anything wrong. Hey, what exactly are you doing? >> You got your cuffs? >> Yeah.
