These Karens came in loud, entitled, and ready to argue, but they didn't count on cops who knew exactly how to handle them. Here are five cases when good cops humiliate the heck out of Karen's. Number five, baseball game turns into a circus thanks to furious parent. Police are called to a youth baseball game after a fight breaks out between two parents. Here's how it all gets ugly. >> What's going on tonight? Okay. So, I was sitting there under our tent and their tent was next to ours and there was like an altercation at the plate earlier in the game. Not a big deal. Um, but their player that was running knocked into whoever our catcher was and who should have been ejected. Not everyone whatever. They were like handled. >> I went to the bathroom, came back and I guess during that play, I didn't see it. My son was running the bases and they pushed him. Whatever. It's silly. So there was like a whatever on the field. I didn't see any of that. I just came and sat down and I asked my husband. I said, "What happened?" He said, "If next time someone pushes them, he should knock them off." My husband said, "So she goes, "That's my grandson. You're talking about the the mother." And I said, "So then the mom, the mom of the ch child, the grandmother and the mom started. She stood up and threw something. That's my son. >> You can't talk about it." >> So I'm just sitting there and he said something to the effect of um like your your son doesn't belong putting hands on my son. >> Yeah. >> And she goes and she just kept repeating that's my son. That's my son. So whatever. We just were sitting there and then I said, "Honestly, this is baseball. Like, no one should put hands on anybody. Like, this is crazy." So, she go, the grandmother stands up and throws something down and goes to charge. And then the daughter, probably my age maybe, stands up and stops her mom and then comes through my tent cuz I was kind of on the border of my >> Soon there's a verbal argument between her, the grandmother, and the child's mother. Tempers flare and the situation quickly escalates. >> Jumps over my special needs daughter to put her hand and like grab my hair. And I was like, "Oh no, no, I restrained her. I have training in restraining. I have a special needs child. I know how to restrain. So, I just held her down. I'm like, "Don't touch me." Like, absolutely not. I didn't hit her. I didn't do anything. I was restraining her from attacking me over her. And then some good Samaritan guy, I guess he said after he was just trying to help, tackled me. So then now I lost my edge of holding her down. And that's when someone separated us. But that's when she broke the chair, the tent, all the things. She >> There was a guy from like two tents down. I was standing right there like watching it all unfold. >> I was just holding her down like >> and I was like, "Oh my god." Like this is crazy. And I see this one guy come up from the tent and he's watching it unfold. And he's standing probably where you are, sir. And he just got like whiteeyed and charged and grabbed my wife like this and went and like the tents, everything started going. So, I grabbed that dude and just put him over here and I just looked at him and I'm like, "You better not do anything." And he was like, "Oh." Like, cuz he was on his back. >> I was like, "Don't put your hands on my wife." >> I'm I don't know how you could be that mentally unstable. Maybe she's drinking. Grandma seemed like she might have been drinking. I have no idea, >> but I have no idea. >> I'm not sure. >> I know grandma's still in there. They all of her stuff was a tent and a half over where we were sitting. So, I mean, it's clear she just charged me. Like, it was the most >> There were there was plenty of witnesses that saw her come over to our tent and engage us like we were sitting there. >> I literally the only words that came out of my mouth is this is based on no one's handed. Officers speak with both women, multiple witnesses, and family members. >> Anyway, >> I really do want to press charges against her because she attacked me out of nowhere and that's not cool at all. >> Especially the kids >> in a public parking lot. >> Can you start over? I'm sorry. I'm I'm going to end up being taken in this case, so I just I need to know. >> Okay. All right. So, I'm assuming it was the husband. um starts hollering it. I think he was yelling to his kid, "You should have knocked him out." He was talking about my kid. They had a little spat on the field, whatever. So I said, >> "This was after when he he was pushed or when >> uh >> when the catcher?" >> No, after the on the field. >> Okay. >> One one kid said that the other one pushed. We don't even We don't I know my kid does play dirty, right? Mhm. >> So I said, "You need to watch out. That's my son, you know, and he starts cussing back and forth with me." And then his wife and he like steps under our tent and it's back and forth. His wife and then my mom stood up at that point when the man came under our tent. My mom stood up and she's like, "You know, you need to sit down." And the wife stood up and said, "Who the you?" Um, and I that's my mom and then she and I came at each other and Don't know what happened there other than I'm missing a shoe and a pair of co sunglasses. So it was just it started out as a verbal argument and she stood up and >> which field was it? >> The back left back right >> uh it would be front left. >> Y'all was in between this field and the back field. >> Yes. And he said she stood up and then she How did y'all come into contact with one another? >> She was fussing and screaming at my mom and who the hell are you? And I said that's my mom and and she and I came at each other. >> Officers review the situation and attempt to figure out who physically initiated the altercation >> and I think it started. So you're saying simultaneously one didn't go to the other >> who came to who went to who? >> I I was under her tent at that point. Her husband had already left from our tent and I was under her tent at that point and we were arguing back and forth and I don't know who came at who first. I mean we both came at each other but I was under her tent at that point. >> Okay. So once y'all came in contact with one another, what happened? >> We ended up on the ground. I don't think there were any punches thrown. >> What did you specifically do? >> Uh, grabbed her about the same time she grabbed me and we ended up on the ground. There were no punches thrown. If she hit me, I didn't feel it. And my mom picked me up and her husband picked her up. >> Did somebody else intervene? >> Not that I know of. There wasn't another third party mail. >> Somebody asked me if my son asked me. He said, "Who hit you? Who hit you? Was did the boy hit you?" And I said, "I don't I don't think anybody hit me." >> So, at this point, the game was over. >> Yes. No, it wasn't. I'm sorry. No, it wasn't. They called it after because of the commotion. >> Okay. What inning was it? Was it even close to being over? >> Yes, it was almost over. >> Okay. >> We may have ended up tying. I think it was going to be >> Would you have to know if there anybody else saw this witness this I mean, >> I'll do a little >> good. Did y'all see anything that happened? >> Yes, I saw it. >> All right. So, what happened? >> She's not involved. >> Okay. She just was by stander. >> Go ahead. >> Are you grandma? >> Are your grandma? Okay. >> So, >> we're watching the game. >> Um, his kid's on second. Her kid is playing second, right? >> Um, her kid goes behind second to um protect second. whatever you want to call it. It has kid bumps into things. >> The consensus is that the verbal conflict started with a comment on the field followed by mutual aggression. >> They call Blue's called time because there was um when his kid get on a second, you know, there was a bigation and there was because of a play earlier some tension between them. Blue's called time. Call both teams to the plate, tells them they're not allowed to talk to each other, yada yada yada. Sends them back to the plates or back to places. Um, so that was it. So then he starts yelling or he is over there and he said um whatever his kid's name then should have not the him >> and um she said wait a minute that's my son you're talking about and he said I don't I'm talking about >> in the meantime he's walked over the under the edge of the tent where we >> um and she says well that's my son and turns around and he steps under my tent which we had all been sitting together. This is our second game. >> The game before we didn't play them. We had all been sitting together the whole time. And >> he says it again. And >> I'm like, "Okay, y'all need to stop." Like, "Everybody needs to stop." I said, "Leah, sit down. Y'all need to stop. Y'all need to stop." And they keep mouthing. And then I don't remember what her >> wife said, but she said it to her. My mother, she stands up and then the vitamin C up to try and break it up. And another guy comes >> to try and break it up in that room. That guy jumps in and >> and he pushes the other guy. >> Can you go back a little bit? Sorry that all the people talking. >> Are you with them? >> No, she's I'm not with >> They were sitting with me. So there was my husband. She was close. She saw everything. >> So you're not with them? >> Well, I saw what happened. There was my husband. >> Are you a third party is all I'm >> Yes, I'm a third party. >> If you want to head up to your daughter, she's right up the hill. >> Okay. Witnesses described the physical contact as more of a cat fight than an outright brawl. The two women end up on the ground holding each other by the hair. >> That's what I'm looking for. >> So, how far back? >> The husband's under y'all's tent >> under our tent >> talking, >> cussing them out. And she's, you know, I keep I'm telling him to go and hush. I'm telling And it's not just him. I mean, there's other people chattering, too. I'm telling all them to hush. I'm telling Leah to hush. And I'm trying to keep a book and watch. You know, my kid watched the game and before I can get up to grab Leah, they're at each other, the two ladies. I don't know who jumped first. I don't know who got who first. Um, >> you see any punches thrown? >> Basically, I saw them wrapped up together. They really weren't throwing punches. It was more of a cat fight. It um the tent leg got did get broke. The chair got broke, but it was more of a cat fight. More and you know, of course, they're saying, you know, we're going to sue you and have you arrested. It was more of a bicker and a cat fight. The two ladies roll bickering. >> Yes. Well, it was >> they both went towards each other essentially. >> Well, it h So, I'm sitting here facing the field. It happened behind me. When I looked, they were on the ground rolling together. >> Pretty much that lady was in the bathroom. Sons got in their little scuffle. Words were said. Teams got brought together saying, "Hey, don't talk to each other." Essentially. >> Uh-huh. >> Uh, dad is over there underneath their tent. >> Yeah. That's what they said. Yeah. >> Uh he walks away. >> Okay. >> One of the w one of the witnesses said, "Hey, y'all just cut the crap out. It's baseball." >> Right. >> He walks away. Mom comes back from the bathroom. She's like, "Hey, what happened?" >> Uh dad made a comment about Dr. Sun down or whatever. >> That's what they said to you. Okay. >> Uh mom comes back. What happened? >> Uh she sits down in her chair. >> Okay. >> Words were exchanged between both sides. >> Uhhuh. She goes over to her tent. Her tent. >> Grandma comes over as well. >> Then the altercation started. Nobody actually saw what happened. Uh, one lady said that she saw her with a ball of her hair in her hand >> while they were already >> while they were on the ground. >> The officers huddle and discuss the information they gathered from both sides of the story. >> And uh, they break it up. So it's I mean from what it sounds like from the witnesses that actually saw it, mom and grandma walked underneath her tent, >> provoked it >> cuz the one lady said she never even got out of her chair. She was sitting down when they came over >> and the witnesses said that too. >> Yeah, that's what one of the witnesses >> and then she got up and that's when they locked up. >> Yeah. >> Okay. I've concluded the investigation and I've determined you're under arrest. Okay. Stand up. Put your hands behind your back. Okay. Can you show me why? >> For disorderly conduct and damage to property. Put your hand on your back. >> Damage to property. >> Okay. All right. >> Can I just say something? >> Can I take this watch off you? Can you give it to grandma? >> Yes. We have talked to all kinds of people. People that were involved, people that don't have nothing to do with you guys. >> I'm going to get my Okay. So, so it sounds I got grandma here with us. So, it sounds like grandma can probably probably help her out here in just a little while. So, once she's taken down there, she'll be she'll get two citations. She'll be getting it just >> I did the cow but not somebody jump into the chair how the chair >> she wasn't anywhere near the chair somebody jumped me from the back I stood up and I had her arm I said baby and somebody hit me from the back and I fell I fell on the chair she didn't do it but it wasn't but it was whoever Somebody knocked me. I had back surgeries. I'm on and they knocked me out. >> Officers explained that even though the charges are misdemeanors, it's standard procedure to take her to jail to process the citation. She's calm during the arrest, but upset about the situation and accuses others of jumping her. >> But she wasn't anywhere near the chair cuz the lady had stood up had grabbed her leg. She didn't have the chance. said that I don't know where that came from because in fact I told them what we'll do is we'll get you to write us a statement real quick. >> Did anybody find my $200 glasses? >> Did anybody find those? Did they admit to having my glasses? >> All right. That's where we're at. We're going to go ahead and get down here and then go get your mother head that direction. >> No, that that's citation. It's, you know, >> misdemeanor. >> Yes. >> Why do you have to take her to jail? >> Well, we're taking her to jail because we're using the citation. We generally do on these kind of citations. >> All right. >> All right. Sorry about this, man. >> Yes, sir. >> All right. If you would just follow me to front of my car. Okay. I'm going to have I'm I'm waiting on a female officer, okay, to to search you, okay? That's just protocol that we have to do prior to, you know, transporting you. All right? If you want to, I'm going to have you send the AC, okay? In my car before she comes, okay? She's still on a call. She'll be here shortly. >> Well, I'm glad he's not here. I was hoping that he wouldn't be here by the time we we arrived back. >> They're in the middle of a game. >> Okay. Well, I'll try to get you out of here before he finishes up. Okay. >> She's ultimately arrested for disorderly conduct and property damage. Number four. Defiant driver tries controlling the stop, lands in handcuffs. A sheriff's deputy pulls over a driver after she fails to move over for law enforcement and veers into a bike lane. Here's what happens next. Hey, how's it going, ma'am? >> Sheriff, you got your license on you? >> I'm sorry. You >> got your license on you? >> I do. >> I'm just pulling you over. You failed to move over for me. Okay. And you drove into the bike lane when you passed me. >> Wait, what? Say it again. >> So, I pulled you over uh failing to move over. Okay. >> Failing to move over. What does that mean? >> So, when you see law enforcement or any first responder on the side of the road with their lights on, you have to move over to the vacant lane. Okay. Um, I guess. >> What was the other one? Just a ID card. >> Yeah, I did. Here you go. >> Okay. When did you get this one? >> Um, when I was living in West Palm. >> Oh, okay. So, your license won't be suspended or anything? >> Of course not. >> You said of course or of course not. >> I said of course not. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Do you have the ID back? Here you go. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> But again, why did you pull me over >> for failing to move over for law enforcement? Okay. So, >> I don't understand that. Can you explain it? >> I got you. So, when you see like this is a traffic stop, right? I'm a police officer. There's red and blue lights in my car. You can't drive past me in the right lane. Okay. You have >> So I had to pull up to the left side. >> You had to move over to the left lane. >> I'm sure I did it because I always do that. But that's fine. >> Uh, okay. >> The officer instructs the woman to step out of the vehicle. Now the question is, will she comply or push back? >> No, I will not. >> Uh, yes you will. >> Why? >> Cuz I'm smelling alcohol coming from your car. Your eyes are watery >> and you're acting all slow. >> Listen, I've been crying. I'm going through a really hard breakup and >> I understand that, but I'm still smelling alcohol coming from the car. Okay. >> No, there's not. >> Yes, there is. So, can you hop out the car for me? >> Uh, go for it. You got the car. >> I'm not going to. >> Come on. Okay, >> that's fine. >> All right, then. Hop out the car. No, I'm not. >> All right. Come on. >> Whoa. You're >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Give me your other hand. >> Okay. That's a little rough, but >> okay. It can be a little rough. comment. >> Yeah. When you don't want to listen to me >> and follow my orders. I asked you to get out the car. No, I >> told you to get out the car multiple times and you said no. Straight to my face. >> Um I mean >> 721 code five male >> custody. But this is on camera, right? >> Correction. Female custody. >> Yes, ma'am. It is. >> Okay, perfect. >> Any any needles or anything on you? >> No, definitely not. >> Definitely not. Roll on your side right here. or whatever you say. >> Put your knees up and I'm going to pull you this way and use your feet to stand up. Okay. >> Oh, of course. Yeah. >> All right. So, I'm still deduct uh conducting my DUI investigation. Okay. Okay, >> for sure. In front of your car. So, right here in the middle. >> Yep. >> She agrees, but her attitude shifts fast, turning combative as the tests begin. >> So, let's do it. right here. Come step on my light, okay? And face me, okay? >> Wait, but hold on because I'm a tattoo artist and >> cops get tattoos all the time >> and they've told me how it works to >> do the drunk test. >> Okay. So, you don't want to do the field uh field survival? >> I definitely do. Let's go. >> Okay. >> Face face me. Put your feet together, hands by your sides. Okay. Okay. Okay. >> Wait, hold on. Tell me to move what? So, if my light blinds you, then tell me to move it. Now, move it. Okay. >> But I'm doing your test. You understand the reason why I stopped you this morning, ma'am? >> Okay. >> You can't excuse me. I'm bored. Can you see? Let me see your driver's license. >> I pulled you over because you came out of Metro West and you cross a medium when you're not supposed to and there's a sign there clearly says do not enter. >> Driver's license. >> What says do not enter? >> Driver's license. >> What says do not enter? >> Driver's license. >> Tell me what says do not enter. >> Call 47. >> How you doing too much?
