[Music] [Music] all so we're on the way to the surgery center uh for a suspicious person in the parking lot apparently an older white male and an older model Ford F-150 has been sitting in the parking lot uh multiple times now he has no business there and it's making the employees nervous so they request for us to come talk to them and see what we can do and honestly just see what the GU is doing himself so as soon as that male just saw us pulling into the parking lot he decided he wanted to leave so we're going to see what's going on your what's going on nothing I was just checking to make sure my truck was start and now it's shut up and I hope it does start so have you been here multiple times I was here yesterday a couple days ago okay what are you doing hanging out in the parking lot I was just sitting there for a second for just no reason at all that's the parking lot you're choosing do you know anybody that works here uh why this parking lot it was shade right there shade okay you still live yeah well I don't live there where do you live now I'm staying with a friend up in what's the address there I don't know the address it's up there right by the police station okay what's the friend's name charene Charlene huitt did you sell your house do what did you sell it no I got kicked out I got you stay where I can um Family Home wife buddy my mom died my sister she Liv in and she has I got you so you got kicked out of the house because of that no I got kicked out I I got you so you don't know anybody works here all right give me one second okay story is not making sense so he's saying that he just randomly pulled into this parking lot because truck and because it has shade but he did it a few days ago too hey Jen I'm going to go talk to them I'll be right back are y good how are you good so do you know this guy he said he was something was wrong with his truck and he just sat here but then he said he did it a few days ago too this is the third time this guy's been here um does anybody seen his face no no somebody took a picture and zoomed in on him but so Allison he was here gosh I don't know we called him so Alison Hardman I know she called Josh at that time but um he was he was parked on the other side facing this way no and was there the reason she noticed it was she went out for lunch at 12:30 and when she left at 400 he was still there so that Drew a red flag and so she called well he pulled out before the police yeah soon as he saw us he threw it up9 called her she said last week that she noticed that he was here and she had called Josh and he left before any body got here and so just a few minutes ago our receptionist said that guy is back out there yeah and so so has he ever walked in or anything not that we're aware of okay he's always just been sitting right there you know like I said we would have paid a bit of attention had she not been like he's been here for 4 hours and there's no patients here there's no staff I mean there's no family's re checked around and he doesn't belong to anybody's yeah that's what here yeah or I was concerned if it was like an ex or something like that not that anybody I mean cuz everybody upstairs as soon as I mean upstairs is way panicky and so they all come running going who is he you know like and they said no they don't belong to any of them okay so well I'm going to tell him to leave okay and never come back here yeah and this is the third time in like two weeks yeah so if he does come back just give us a call okay all right we'll do that thank you all right Mr Stone all right so why are you sitting in this parking lot I finished my Burger King today okay what about the other day the other day I was just waiting to meet this guy third time they get you on cameras here oh is it yeah I don't mean to be okay so you guys I think randomly pulling up not in in a business just sitting here for no reason I was just in the shade people get nervous okay I understand so don't come back here okay all right appreciate that have a good day so we got a call of a man sitting in the parking lot and uh for they said all day but apparently it's just been a couple of hours but he's been repeatedly here time and time again so they wanted us to check up on them because they were making them nervous typically with the medical center you don't really want people sitting around and hanging out so we checked up on him everything's good he's just homeless and trying to find a place to keep cool so my name is Robert Quinn I am 32 years old I've been with the Oxford Police Department a little over a year now and have been in law enforcement for a little over eight years so I became a police officer to uh help people uh I know that's a cliche everybody always says it um my family's been in law enforcement from my uncles to my grandp parents um now me my identical twin and my younger brother are all police officers in this area um I enjoy it I enjoy meeting new people um sometimes they don't enjoy meeting me but you know at the end of the day we get out there uh with the community and we've got a job to do but we're also out there to protect these people and prot protect our community the LPR system basically is a license plate reader and uh we have them throughout the city other jurisdictions also have the same ones and so they're all interl but we just had one hit coming off the interstate uh up at the exchange that 746 that's saying that it's related to a missing person so we're going to try to ease our way over there and see if we can't maybe locate it but it tells a lot um those things help us out more than anything I'll be honest with you they uh give us warrants give us stolen vehicles stolen plates missing people um and I mean it's a good way to catch people that have felony warrants to or in general people that are suspected of committing a crime and I don't think uh I don't think anybody's going to be over there cuz the other guy that's out that way I believe just called out of the station but then again you know sometimes these things aren't I'm not going to say they're not accurate they are very accurate but it can change between states so if it's a tag that's listed as stolen it may come back to like a different vehicle because that tag is actually listed through a different state so you have to verify the state and also the tag number so that it didn't misread a tag but um this one actually from the picture it looks to be pretty accurate we did have one not too long ago that was a stolen plate out of Hawaii um I actually got over here and they were in the parking lot of one of our businesses and what it ended up being was Hawaii requires two plates one in the front one in the back well one of their plates had been stolen they never changed the back plate so when it hit the tag reader it told us it was a stolen plate well it was actually on the registered vehicle supposed to be on with the owner um it was the other one that we have no idea where it's at that went with that car that was stolen all right so I believe we're looking for a white Ford F-150 leave that try yeah F-150 it looks like it's got black rims on it maybe a 2016 model anybody in our agency if they wanted them could go up and uh speak to the guys at the emac and actually get alerts I can't physically put anything into it but uh it will notify me on on when something hits it 756 1081 code 413 reference resp missing person go ahead that is not confirmed I know okay but that um person does have an inmate record for murder oh R tide the registered owner so I just want to make sure you knew this okay uh is the registered owner the one that's reported is missing it's not confirmed I run it there was nothing come back on that it just showed me that he has an inmate record for murder and he's a Al probationer okay any uh so nothing nothing related nothing yeah nothing about a missing person [Music] so at this time we're unable to locate the vehicle it could have gotten off the interstate and went into a different neighboring jurisdiction or um it could have got back on the interstate and kept on going tag um it's like a little decoration around the tag was blocking their tag sticker um nothing to it they had insurance um the driver of the vehicle's license was good so issued him a written warning for driving an expired tag and they said they were going to get it taken care of today and gave them a verbal warning for the tag cover sent them on their way no findes no court date nothing like that just a reminder to get it fixed there they are so just observed the vehicle with no tag on it don't drivers wearing a seat belt either but either way it's an old white pickup and there's no tag on the vehicle at all so see if we can catch up to it and get a stop on it it's currently eastbound on snow street so trying to catch it I think there's two cars between us and the vehicle so but they should be coming up on a red light at 21 in snow so we'll be able to get closer there y they're the third car in front of us we good we're taking it 760 1039 1039 snow passing Creek Side on a white and color it you're driving or revoked I know you've been warned about the insurance before I ain't going I ain't going to hit you with an insurance ticket okay I am going to have to write you for driv moreok and I am going to have to tell the vehicle it doesn't leave me much Choice there okay all right I know it's it's a crappy situation all right but we got to get this license fixed okay if you're working yeah I work at night so I sleep through everything look at me if you can call up there and get a hardship license that'll cover you going to and from work you can put some money back to start it only covers you going to and from work man but it'll help you out I know this is your truck cuz it's registered the VIN comes back registered to you you don't have a tag on there so I mean we talking four or five right there but I only wrote you two and I will be willing to work with you if you will get these fixed okay okay see what we got to do to get these fixed okay I'm cutting you a break on the vehicle and I set your court date out in August all right go get you a dog August 6th 3 p.m. okay that's better that's better cuz I'm 8:00 man yeah so with that being said if you can get a hardship license and come show me a hardship license and your insurance before August 6 before August 6th I'll work with you all right I'll I'll you almost two mons yeah just I tell you you want me give these to her yes all right just hang TI with offer hey ma'am how you doing I'm upset with him I understand look I'm cut him a Brak ain't going to his vehicle okay the ownership said he can leave it here so you ain't going to have to pay no impound fees and all like that okay so as long as it ain't him I'm going to tell him the same thing here in a minute if I catch him driving it again I'm going have to tow it cuz I done cut him my Brak once all right so I can drive it [Music] home okay so uh stopped the last vehicle is a white Chevy S10 I didn't have a tag on it um driver was shown to be revoked so he didn't have any insurance and uh once I ran the VIN eventually found out that the tag has been expired for quite some years now so um wrote him a warning for no plainly visible tag wrote him a citation for the insurance and the uh revoke license kind of explain how we can work with that and take care of those things um also was showing a du to a peer warrant for a seat bout violation through our agency um so he was arrested on that um cut him a break just help him out with the vehicle um it's one of those things he's already got two tickets um if we tow it it's going to have a tow bill and things like that and the the owners of the uh Shopping Center or the business complex there were gracious enough to let him leave his vehicle there until his family can come pick it up so um yeah other than that one of our new hires needed some training on the booking process and things like that so his fto volunteered to come back and serve the warrant show the process and things like that so I guess we're on to the next one [Music]
