Public's parking lot radio traffic doesn't sound normal like she seem she just seems like something's off so we're going to jump on the interstate go down and exit to where she is and get to her another officer is calling around stop and ask for help we get a lot of people that come through here that do some awful things in people's cars or people's kids no what it is is just suspicious you going to let me finish it's suspicious activity and then when I and then when I ran your tag it came back not on filed so that's why I stopped you thank got absolutely well you came around the first time when I saw you you turned around by Mellow Mushroom did a u-turn over there then you came through a couple other hotels through the parking lot let me finish then when you came out I came back around cuz I'm trying to follow you around because you didn't look the part of everyone else that's here so I wanted to find out what was going on plus I saw your passenger and I didn't know if they were passed out or something was wrong so then then I can't cut through the parking lot cuz I saw you parked that quality in and then you got out went inside came back out and then you left and you walked over here to popey's let me let me finish you came back didn't have anything in your hand then you went inside quity in again a couple of times and then you left so yes I'm going to follow you I'm going to figure out what's going on to make sure that everybody else here is around safe so like I said I saw this activity I ran your plate it didn't come back so that's why I stopped you Donald Trump interpretation I mean phenomenal record okay I stopped the vehicle due to um suspicious activity he was driving around our hotels and not stopping and it was just suspicious so when he did stop at a hotel uh he walked in and out and then left came back and then finally left again so I followed him and when I ran his plate it came back not on file so I pulled him over for that come to find out um all his information came back okay and he's going to be looking for another hotel on a different side of town I was like Ben she said the hugest intersection are you filming me no I'm over here before so him and Jose are just having issue are you and Jose friends yeah the one that lives here Jose problem but you and Jose kind of friends of you talk to him get along with him and all yeah him only all all the time I used to leave his friend and stay with him he I don't know what but I told him just stay make sure you don't come over here and I will explain all that again if you don't mind tell Jose the same thing don't say nothing to him stay away from him stay out of his yard and I said I'll explain same thing here but I will say I've been out here to a couple different trailers and I know there's several different ones having problems with Jose cuz I was out here about three maybe four weeks ago deal with the trailer over here music no this wasn't even about the music it was he had walked across over there and threatened somebody over there Jose did so then we're always getting calls about the music out here so yeah that's where I talked to Y all at that wasn't the victim I've never dealt with that victim before but this guy he's saying s harassing him I've dealt with him many of many of times different people in this trailer park all saying he's apparently get drunk and just tries to fight everybody so but we'll do a report and that explain to him to come by and he can sign some warrants out on him for harassment the offender the guy he's saying that's threatened to assault him uh I've been down there in that same trailer park with two other victims um over the last probably 3 months um stating that this man has assaulted them tried to jump them um so he's apparently just causing several people in the trailer park problems we've got several calls too about him flying spinning tires through the gravel coming through there with little kids playing and it's dangerous the way he drives through there but he does a lot of drinking every time I've ever dealt with him he's been drunk so apparently gets drunk and just wants to fight and cause problems so sorry [Music] now we're going to get a u do a a search warrant on an apartment uh for a gentleman that uh shot to an occupi unoccupied building um we're taking the Tactical Team just because of uh safety reasons um once we get there we'll make inury uh secure the apartment and then investigations will come in and uh search the actual apartment [Music] [Music] Windows on this side [Music] [Music] I got [Music] [Music] Jos uh did the search warrant um concerns were anything that might be inside any bodies that might be inside so we went ahead and uh execute the search warrant we didn't find anybody uh now that the room is the uh apartment is secure we're going to go ahead and turn it over to C which is our investigation Division and they're going to uh conduct the search of the apartment we responded to 216 West Oak in reference to ESU and Patrol units uh executing search warant we got on scene early and provided air support uh making sure that no one fled the scene and waited for ground units to make sure the residence was clear it was a tricky little um scene cuz there was a lot of trees and so the orbit had to be a certain way and then we're coordinating with a a light aircraft that was in the pattern so we had to coordinate with him to make sure we weren't going to conflict with his Landing pattern and alternating our altitudes and speeds for the orbit to keep both the front and back of the scene and and the visibility so it was a little bit of a challenge more so than we normally see in this area once the residence was clear we pulled off scene uh refilled aircraft and returned back to arer t uh my name is Tyler peek I'm an officer here with the Oxford Police Department I've been with Oxford since October 1st of 2023 um so I've been here about eight months uh before that I've worked at various police departments in the state of Alabama uh since 2017 as when I first started policing so all in all got around 6 years of experience I uh got into policing because my father was a police officer he's a State Trooper here in Alabama so I guess I always grew up with it and wanted to try to help people I used to work at the Orange Beach Police Department I uh I decided to move back back home um which is why I chose the Oxford Police Department I'm originally from this area uh have close ties to the community around here so I decided to come back do a little community policing it's a lot different working in a smaller town like Oxford than it is working for a I wouldn't call it so much of a bigger city as far as land mass goes but Orange Beach is more of a tourist destination we don't have a whole lot of residents there but uh we get people from all over the stay and all over the country coming down to visit the the beaches of Alabama so it's it's just different working with people that live in this community or from around here instead of just people that come in and out of the town and do as they please batter is not using them there it took me a my wife 5 hours this morning to clean it out and all that [ __ ] came out of there okay but it was cleaned out you know there's almost nothing in there he told us I got you you got
