I don't want to. >> I had him call just to verify that he was okay to be outside walking around. >> What did your O paper sign and say that I'm not supposed to be? [music] >> I'm going tell you right now, do not touch. So you right now, do not touch it. >> [music] [music] >> All right. So, we're heading to an address central area town. Uh this is uh we had an incident at this address yesterday in reference to a domestic call >> and one of the males own recgnissance conditions was to not return to the residence. So the judge said we're going to let you out and here's your O conditions and one of them is you can't be within 100 yards of the residence. And um we got word that he is indeed at the residence and he showed up. So, we're going to see if he's still here. And if he is, he'll be in violation of his O and uh he'll be going back to jail. Doesn't matter. I don't know. So kick t Paul, come Hello. How you doing? >> What's up? >> What are you doing here, man? >> You know you shouldn't be here. >> Well, I have to. >> What do you mean? >> She's not here. I have to take care of the dogs. >> It's you know that on your O condition, it's a condition of your release that you cannot be at this home address because she also lives here. >> Yeah, but she's not here and I have to take care. >> What did your O paper sign and say? >> That I'm not supposed to be here. >> Okay. So, remember what I talked to you about yesterday? >> Yeah. >> Following the rules. You're not doing that. >> But what am I supposed to do with them? Then >> you have to ask a neighbor or someone else to take care of them. >> Those are the rules. We don't make >> I told you yesterday, >> okay, >> when we were at the hospital, said, "Make better decisions. Follow the rules." >> You pretty much just gave the judge the middle finger saying, "I don't got to abide by your rules." If that's something that you can't comply with, you need to talk to the judge about that. >> The judge is willing to work with you. However, there's going to be things set in place where you can't make the decision. The judge is going to make that decision for you, and he's going to set these rules. And this is one of the rules that he said. >> Okay. >> He or she, they took everything into consideration, the totality of it all, and this is one of the things that they said. >> Yeah. >> So, this is something. >> How did you even get back in the house? I had a locksmith come over and open the door for me. Okay. So, you know, that's makes it a step even further that you knew you shouldn't have been doing that. You >> physically called a locksmith to let you in to somewhere you're not supposed to be. >> Well, I I came home to get some stuff so I could go somewhere and she's not home. >> But that's not what the court order said. >> I know. >> So, well, I'll leave. I'll leave right now. >> You're leaving? All right. But you're going with us. >> Well, why can't I just leave? >> Cuz it's an O violation. >> You violated it. So now you have to go back and you have to see the judge again because you didn't abide by it. >> Got to do the hint jiggle. There it goes. It's going off the gate. What's going to happen? >> You're going to have to go to court again. >> See the judge again in the morning and tell them why you violated your condition. All right. So, we made contact with the male who wasn't supposed to be here, who was out on O. Um, I mean, it couldn't have went any better than that. He was polite, respectful, and uh I think he knows he wasn't supposed to be here and he knows that he messed up, but uh he's going to be going back to jail today for the violation of the O. And uh at the end of the day, he's going to have to explain to the judge why he thought it was a good idea to violate his terms and conditions. So, it's not going to be a fun conversation. Um, but hopefully he gets something figured out because the way he's doing things right now ain't working out too well for him. >> So, the supervisor just pulled somebody over. Shar just pulled somebody over right here. We're going to go out here and make sure he he's okay. Um, hopefully we might get something interesting out of it. Basically, we're just going as backup. There's nothing. >> There's nothing here. No, there's nothing here. >> I saw the truck slow rolling and bring that up. This truck see >> Yeah. So, it's really apparent there's nothing here. They're just trying to make it home. It's an older couple. So, we'll we'll just keep going. Catch something else. >> You walking home? >> Sorry. >> Walking home. >> Actually, no. walking away from home. >> You >> I'm just going on a walk. It's I'm bored. >> Okay. Uh do you have a phone? >> Yes. >> Can you call your parents just to verify you're okay to be out here? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. You don't mind? >> 726. I'll be code five with a juvenile in front of First Baptist Church of Oxford. [clears throat] >> We just want to verify you ain't run away or nothing. >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah, we have a You'd be surprised at how common that is. Really? >> Yeah. It's It's just pretty prevalent. Yeah. [clears throat] >> Kids will just take off walking from home and then How old are you? >> 14. >> 14. Okay. If they're okay with it, we don't care. Just be aware of your surroundings. Be safe. O, it's hot. I really should not have worn this jacket. >> Yeah, it was a bad idea. [snorts] >> Of course, it goes to voicemail. They literally just went out to go to Walmart. >> Okay. >> Uh, I live just down that way. >> Okay. Uh, is there anybody else you can call? What's this being filmed for? >> Huh? >> What's it being filmed for? >> It's a It's a YouTube series that uh they do. It's a documentary. >> It's called US Cops on YouTube. Yeah. >> You'll be uh you'll be blurred out due to you being a juvenile. >> Okay. >> Hey, this is Hey, >> you good? >> Yeah. I'm just double checking I can be outside. >> Yeah. Just don't don't call me three times in a row unless something's like dying. Okay, >> you can let him. >> Hey, so >> just don't get attacked by dogs or talk to strangers. >> Finn, this is Officer Yates with the Oxford Police Department. I had him I had him call just to verify he was >> I had him call just to verify that he was okay to be outside walking around. It is 8:00. Uh they're a juvenile, so we just had to make sure that they were okay to be outside. >> Yeah. Hey, I'm sorry. >> No, you're fine. >> Okay. Yes, he's fine by himself. >> Okay, sounds good. >> We'll be home soon. >> All right, sounds good. >> Okay, >> have a good one. >> Thank you. >> Bye-bye. Have a good one. >> How often do you guys get runaways? >> Uh, probably at least once a week. >> Really? >> Yeah, it's pretty common. >> That I'm actually shocked by. >> Yeah, you'd be surprised. It's uh it's quite common around here. Usually, this is how it goes. cuz we see them walking down the road and they're not supposed to be they're not supposed to be away from home. So, >> fair enough. >> Yep. You have a good one. You do. >> Be safe. If we're patrolling, uh we see a juvenile walking down the road, we'll get out with them, uh have them call their parents just to verify that they're okay to be walking around. Uh you'd be surprised. A lot of times, uh we end up doing that and they're not supposed to be away from the house and their parents have no idea where they're at. So, we get out with them. We uh we cut a lot of uh the work on our end out by go ahead and getting them back to their parents house. They don't get too far away from home. We don't have to go 10 miles out of our way to go find them and look for them. So, we'll get out with them and try to cut that process out. They were fine. Their parents knew they were out walking. So, we had them call. Parents said it was fine. We cut them loose. Hi. >> Hey. How you doing? >> Pretty good, man. >> Yeah, you were hauling, man. >> Yeah. I'm sorry. I'm late for work. I'm trying not to get my write up. I apologize. >> What time you got to be there, man? >> I got to be there in 20 minutes. >> 20 minutes? >> Yeah. I got you at 71. >> You just buy the car? >> Yes, ma'am. >> You got your uh bill of sale with you by chance? Uh >> everything that I do. >> You can have that back, man. All right. Is it a V8 at least? >> Ma'am, >> is it a V8 at least? >> No. I wish it was. >> Come on, man. >> 530. I wanted a 540, but this is a 530. >> My mom had a 550i. That thing was quick. >> So, right now, we're headed to a disturbance weapon. just sounds like a disagreement between neighbors and one of the neighbors had a firearm um on them. It wasn't used in any crime. So, >> so we'll get on scene and kind of see what's what's going on. >> Hi. Can you get your mom or dad or whoever called 911 for me? Hello. >> Uh, did you call? >> Yeah. >> What's going on? >> Uh, we a neighbor down the street over here. Not this one, but the next one. >> Yeah. >> He's keep on passing up and down super fast, like excesses. >> There's been a couple times where he almost even hit my car as I'm backing out my even one of my neighbors have >> he did the same thing. Are you police? >> It's just they he recently went to go talk to >> I went over there to talk to adults, you know. Yeah. And he came out with the AR, pulled it back, clocked it, you know. He was like, "You know who the you're talking to? You know who you talk to." I was like, "No, I'm just trying to talk to you. Almost hit one of my kids going going down the street hell." I don't give a I don't give a I was like, "Okay, you know what? We're leaving." Me and my brother got back in the car and came back. >> Okay. >> All we try to do is talk to somebody. >> When he did that, how'd that make you feel? It honestly made me feel threatened. You know, I felt like I was going to get shot. >> Okay. >> And is this your brother that went with you? >> My dad. >> Oh, okay. Is your >> So, >> so is you and your brother that went down there? >> Yeah, we went over there to talk to him like normal person. We didn't go over there like >> Okay. I had video >> of him driving by. >> Yeah. This is when >> Earlier he passed by here. My baby was sleeping in the living room and he has a bike too and he cranks it just >> you can see here. >> Wakes him up and everything. >> Hey, why you >> over there? Please. >> Hi, baby. >> Put it back. >> Talk to him for a normal papa's talking to him. >> The only thing that I want to talk to him. >> What address do you know that they live at? Did you go to >> uh I don't know his address number >> but is the the buyer the red truck >> where the red truck >> last house >> the very last on the left side? >> Yeah on that side. >> Um [screaming] >> are you wanting to prosecute? >> We're just trying >> No, we're just trying. >> You don't want to prosecute? >> I want him just chill out going down the block cuz you know we got kids. >> We going to the car. We go put our kids in the car and he just zooming right by. >> If he's coming out with a a gun like that, try not to approach him. >> As soon as he pulled it out and he cocked it back, me and my brother stepped back. We got back in the car. >> Did it have a Did it have a magazine in it? >> Yeah, it had the magazine and everything in it. >> Okay. >> What color was it? >> Blue and black. >> Blue and black. >> Yeah. >> Hi. How are you? >> Good. >> You need a sticker? Yummy. >> Say thank you. >> Thank you. >> Hi. Hey. Hey. I got All right. I have my rifle in the passenger seat here just as precaution. >> Okay. >> Um, keep your ride along behind your car. >> Okay. >> And we'll make contact. >> Hi, you are currently recording. police department. Come outside and talk to me. >> Yeah, let me put my dog up. >> Okay, you can just step out on the front porch, talk to me. >> What's up? >> Hey, did a a neighbor by chance come down here and try to talk to you? >> Over here yelling and screaming. >> Okay, what happened? What happened with that? >> I'll explain it. He likes to go down this that road right there with his Mustang. >> Okay. >> It's a piece of red Mustang all the time. >> Mhm. >> And uh he'll I have a daughter, too, so she's out here sometimes with my dog. >> Okay. >> And he'll rev it up. He'll do all that stuff. And uh um I [laughter] don't know why that gu. Um so he'll do that all the time. And then I take this street to go out to the main street over there. Yeah. And usually they got kids. And his dad um first of all it was his dad the one that started everything cuz he would be slow down and you know don't be passing down our street like it's his street or something or he's a cop trafficking out here doing something you know telling me what to do and uh I think it was like a couple of months later then he starts like I think I'm I'm assuming it's his son >> okay starts saying hey uh uh slow down but they're yelling I mean I'm passing they're yelling at me and stuff like that and then one day he gets in his Mustang and follows me all the way down to deal. >> I mean, are you driving fast? I mean, >> well, that's the thing. 30 m an hour, but they think that that's fast enough because their kids are out there in the street all the time. >> Okay. So, you drive 30. >> Yeah. The problem is is that they think that they can do whatever they want when they're doing that over here. But then if I go that way and I'm going, you know, they can dictate how far I how fast I go and do whatever I want to do. Right. >> So, what happened today? Uh I was coming back this way, coming back from uh to my house, came in, pulled in and then they pulled up in here to the driveway and they were started yelling out there. >> Okay. >> So I came out here and started saying, "What the you want?" >> Okay. Did you have anything when you came out? >> No. >> Okay. >> Telling me what to do. And they're spinning their wheels out there parking lot, everything. They're badasses. >> Okay. You didn't happen to come out with a a gun or anything, did you? >> Okay. Why would they Why would they say you do? >> I know they've seen me out here with like baby guns and my uh It's actually right there on the in the garage. It's a a plet gun. It's like a what do you call it? Like a rifle like looking airsoft and everything. >> Okay. What color is it? >> Black. >> Okay. Does it have any other >> out here? uh with with that out here cuz the other time uh I had a guy literally that broke into the house. I called in 911 everything. I broke in. >> Um he pulled in the driveway, came out, walked right into the house with my daughter on the couch just sitting. >> So you didn't you didn't come outside with a one of those BB guns? No. >> Plet guns. Nothing in your hand. >> No, >> it's in the garage. >> It's on the side of the garage. It's >> Yeah, sure. All right. If you don't have any questions with me, I'll go talk to them and let them know of your concerns. So, it's both ways pretty much >> and not just one way. So, and we'll get out of here. >> Okay. >> All right. Thanks. >> I talked to him. Um, >> basically, he he also had concerns about you guys um saying you're driving up and down uh what is that Elm right there? >> Yeah. >> Um pretty fast, too. He says he's only driving 30 through here. So I told him, um, right now all we can do is talk to you both, get both sides of the story, >> right? >> Um, so I just wanted to let him know that your voice is being heard, his voice is being heard. Okay. >> With whatever you guys got going on, just try to be neighbors. It's always better to >> to at least get along then start butting heads. >> Yeah. That's how we like me me and this guy he go >> I don't know if he throw us go to the army or not but >> me and him we talk a lot you know he's my we don't even argue >> my neighbors over here also them over there too okay >> like mostly all of us get along besides him he's the one that be passing up and down just zooming up and down >> so at the end of the day there's always two sides to every story um the one didn't want to prosecute there's nothing other than uh what they told me to corroborate their story Um hopefully the neighbor feud they can just squash it um and things get better between them and we don't have to be back out here. So this initially came out as a parking violation. Uh said there were 35 possible cars that were parking illegally close to fire hydrants, all that other stuff. Um but due to the call text and everything else, they changed it to a party. So, us and a couple officers are gonna go out here and see if there's a party going on. See what's going on. Why there's 35 cars parked out here. She said there were a bunch of parking violations, so we can look for those as we walk up, but I don't see any. He has them now. We got a call that there was uh like 35 cars parked out here. >> Yeah, >> there's a party going on. >> It was Is the party here? >> Okay. Where's Where's the party at? >> Okay. >> Uh I didn't talk to the calling party, but I she was upset about some parking violations, I guess. Or he. I don't know if it was he or she. >> Probably a he. There's a judge that lives there. >> Okay. Have a good weekend, guys. So, I said there's a judge down here that was potentially a calling party. I don't know if he was a calling party or not, but how's it going? You have you got Have you heard like a party going on or anything down here? >> I mean, >> nothing like disturbing the peacewise in my opinion. >> Okay. The party's down over here, though. >> Okay. >> They're good people. >> Is it like a graduation or a party or >> I have no idea. Okay. >> We will see. >> Yeah. I moved that white or that whatever that is over there. >> Now that it was all farther way down. >> Yeah. >> I'll just tell your friends. Hey man, whoever's got a car close to a driveway, please move. You just have a neighbor complain. >> Okay. >> Gotcha. >> Oh, you're good. >> You're good. known. So that car right there. >> This one. >> Maybe this black the dark car in front of this Honda. >> Um >> with that white car right there. >> That one. >> Just a slew of all the cars. >> Any car close to the driveway. I would just even pull them in your guys' driveway if poss. >> Yes, sir. >> If they like to, they could just park in our driveway. >> Okay. Yeah. I think somebody was just complaining about cars being too close to the driveways. So Okay. >> It's only there's only really a few that I see. I don't know. probably some of these over here. This one back over here. But if they can pull into your driveway, that'd probably be >> Yeah, sure. >> That's nice. What are you guys celebrating out here? >> Uh oh, John's just c my my son's just celebrating summer party with the their adult uh prayer group. >> Sounds like fun. >> It is. It is. >> So, yeah, this is calm, cool, mellow, so we're not tripping over the party or anything like that. >> Great. Great. Yeah. But usually when we have party calls, it's usually the parking is one of the the biggest things. >> One of the biggest complaints and then sometimes the noise which >> you guys are welcome to use the driveway. >> Perfect. Perfect. >> I love it. >> Everybody like >> Oh man, you guys parked like way down there, too. >> Yeah, the ping was way down there. >> Someone called from over here. >> Okay. and you'd be like, "You're a little nervous." >> Yeah. Okay, we'll move our cart away. >> Yes. Yes. Let's keep that room. >> Do you know I had a party at Christmas time and they're like 65 >> probably 50 cars and I didn't get one complaint >> at all. >> I watch you guys like I watch those US cops. >> Yep. US. Yo, [laughter] let's go. That's cool. >> Well, we have our car. I don't know where Paul is. >> I think he pulled in >> for me. [laughter] But >> he left you here to party. That's what he said. >> We're not here to party. We just thought we'd come say hi to your friends and then we were going to leave. >> God, I'm glad we came home. >> Yeah. >> Hello. >> How you doing? >> Pretty good. Am I currently the issue? >> I literally have no idea. >> The dark yours the dark Kia or the silver car? >> The uh dark Kia. >> Yeah. I would just move it around. >> They say you can pull in the driveway if you want. >> I can find room. That's That's fine. My apologies. Oh, you're good. >> Yeah, you can pull in the driveway. >> So, we can pull it. >> Seriously, you can. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Sorry if we be the party poopers. >> No, no, no. You're doing your job. We get it. >> No worries. >> This is like the coolest place you can come to do this. Yeah. [laughter] >> Uh, so this was just a party call. Ended up just being a uh a church group get together where they're having a little summer bash. Whoever the calling party was just didn't want them to block driveways, I guess. So, we uh advised them to move their cars. That way, they weren't committing any infractions and nobody could complain. And that was it. So, there it was a good group of kids. We weren't trying to cause any problems, but also didn't want people to keep calling on it. So, just have them move the cars and hopefully we don't get called back out here. So, we just got rerouted to an assault at the homeless shelter. Uh, calling party said there's a client there that punched the security guard in the face and requesting EMS. So, we're then show up on scene and um, see what we got. >> We asked him to leave because he he's kicked out of here. And he punched him in the face. And so we all we took him down. He's handcuffed right now. >> 48 can move in. >> Yeah. >> Eye is messed up. >> They're coming. They're coming. >> Uh where's where's he at? That dude right there. >> Yeah. They told him to leave. Uh jumped on my back. It was not staff. Sure. >> Is your name Levi? >> What's your name? >> You're not taking reports from us yet? I'm taking I need your info. >> True. My first name is Levi. Information from them if you choose. >> I my fifth. >> Spell your first name. >> I knack my fifth. >> Okay. What's your last name? >> I knack my fifth. >> You have to identify yourself. Okay. >> Oh, under criminal. >> Yeah, you have to identify yourself. First name, >> date of birth, >> middle K, last name. >> Okay. >> What? No. My I have a No, I have a witness. Someone I is it you to be able to you bro I have someone that's speaking >> Levi Levi >> no don't no Levi me >> relax >> okay just calm down >> where is she at >> so you want to tell me what happened Levi >> you have dude go inside and ask them >> okay >> I'm going >> there's always two sides to every story that's why I'm giving >> two sides every story my side the subjective their side the subjective and the whole truth >> okay >> there's three sides to every story >> I agree with you sir Yeah, hold on. >> Going down there. >> Hey, stand up. >> Stand up for me. >> Stand up. >> What? To for what? >> Cuz I'm going to get you. >> Be detained. >> I'm I'm I'm being detained. I'm fine with that. >> You are detained. I was then going to get you out of those cuffs and into my cuffs. >> Do what? >> I was then going to get get you out of those cuffs and into my handcuffs. Are you okay with that? >> Uh, it's I don't Do we have to do that right at this point? I'm willing to submit to anything we have to do. I don't want to >> Well, I just didn't want to wait around. >> I don't want to wait around. >> I don't understand. I'm following orders. I just don't understand. >> Where did that blood on your head come from? >> From from this man here. And where's the And where's the other one? Is that you pant and breathing? No, it was the younger man. >> Are you bleeding from anywhere? >> They told him to get out of there, too. >> Hey, what's up? >> The camera's out here. >> No, no, that's fine. >> Yes, sir. I will. Do you need me to stand? You said I will I will stand up, >> sir. Left leg lift first. >> Just turn. Face that fence for me. Okay. >> Pull my little pocket. You can run a PS if you need >> Yeah. Okay, >> this is this doesn't Why am I leaving uh security security guards handcuffs to police handcuffs with no >> just so I know that my cuffs are proper fit and everything and not relying on a security guard handcuffs. Okay, >> four people on me again. >> How was big guy? I told him. Yeah, I told him. I told him I told Amen. It was there. He was the only one. I saw one fin and everything in the neighborhood. >> Yeah, he's in custody. >> 411 in custody. Make >> sure you're parked over there. Come on. >> Yeah. >> Come on. >> Yeah, >> Levi. Come on. >> All right. Happy Father's Day. >> Face car. Spread your feet for me. >> Anything in your pockets? >> Uh, I don't have any paperwork. My husb put up that. >> Yes. >> Oh, a couple drives would be beautiful. Okay. >> Can I get two drives? Sit down and take a quick back. >> Huh? >> Can you put my seat back in my pocket then? >> Get out. >> Here. Just have a seat for me. >> My seat's clear. >> I have my seat, please. Oh, not not in my personal. >> Okay. >> So, can you talk to me a little bit? I'm not going to run. >> Yeah, I'll sure. I'll talk to you. >> What do you want to say? No, I can do the opposite. >> Yeah, you're >> putting me in my body away. >> Put your feet in. >> Levi, put your feet in. >> Put your foot in real quick. >> I know your first and last name. >> Yeah, I gave you that. >> I know. I'm not saying I know you. I I know your name. >> They have an They're send out. He may have an outside warrant. >> So, I'm still waiting on that return. Um, so he didn't give you any kind of statement? >> No, he said he don't he didn't want to talk to you. He wanted to go to the hospital. He couldn't even think about anything, but he did want to press charges on me. >> Okay, I will run over there and get a statement from him. >> So, I just finished up a follow-up interview at the hospital with our victim. Um suspect's in custody, so he'll be going to jail for simple battery. And um right now, victim's getting checked out and hopefully all is okay. And um there just some minor injuries.
