So, the victim's uh he's gone. >> Need an ambulance. >> Okay. >> Juvenile male who is overdosing. >> Back up. [music] Back up. You get pulled over by the cops, man. Be cool. >> [music] [music] >> I don't even know what it is. >> Uh, got a call for a panic alarm over at one of our um banks over here. We typically get panic alarms from them constantly. Um either by them hitting it with their knee or they're having difficulties with it. So we're about to be unseen to find out what's going on. 729 10:23. They're not open. No. And they're probably embarrassed now. Hi Y >> I'm assuming it was accidental. >> All right, good. Okay, it's right. Don't worry about it. Thank you. I appreciate it. 729. Everything's code for it. It was accidental. You can show both units 108. So, it was just accidental, which I kind of figured, so I like it. Before we jump to the next scene, I want to thank Aura for sponsoring this episode. We all know these annoying scam calls. There's a local number showing up on your phone. You answer the phone and this guy knows everything about you. Your name, your address, and then he claims he's from your bank or from your insurance. Well, he's not. He got that information from a data broker website. Aura scans the web to find these sites selling your data, gets it removed, and keeps it off for good. You could technically contact these brokers yourself, but there are hundreds of them, and everyone has their own forms, their own rules. Aura handles it automatically. It also gives you a VPN, anti virus, and a password manager for everyday protection. And if ever anything happens, you are backed by identity theft insurance with a coverage up to $5 million. And real people in the United States are available 24/7 if you need any assistance. Try Aura free for 14 days by using the link or.com/first responders. The link is down below in the video description and in the pin comment. So, we're heading just across from the PD on 78. Um, about half mile away, there's a juvenile male who is overdosing, suspectedly overdosing. >> His mother said that he's been gone all day. um probably hanging out with friends. >> Came home and won't tell her what he's been doing, but he's got slurred speech, trouble balancing, his lips are turning white, so there's a lot of um signs of an overdose. So, we're going to go back up EMS. Uh we're not running code because there's not really a whole lot we would be able to do in that instance to help him. Um what we're mainly doing is going over there to assist EMS just in case he becomes aggressive, becomes violent, somebody becomes aggressive or violent. You know, we're really there to protect EMS and allow EMS to do their responsibilities. Um there's certain things we can do to kind of save somebody if they are overdosing and they start to lose consciousness. Um, but a lot of it's limited to CPR and general first aid. Um, but we we mainly just allow EMS to do their job. >> Another reason why we're not running code is we also have other police units that have already made it on scene. So, um, >> depending on how bad it is, the first unit may run code to one of these calls, but there's already other officers on scene. There's not really a reason for us to run code. That's going to be that house right there. >> Watch out for that dog, too. >> Hey, Pup. Hey, puppies. Hello. >> 747. I'm 1023. Focus. Mhm. Good job. Come on. Come on. Um talked with the mother. Mother said that he had been out all day. um him being a 13-year-old, we're going to document this incident. Um she has no idea where he may have gotten the drugs, but from his reactions, um most of the officers out there, including myself, were kind of suspecting that he was smoking at one point and may have gotten a hold of some spice, not knew it was spice, and then some of these reactions that he was having, um you know, stiffening, locking up, legs are shaking, that's kind of a sign of spice use. So, spice just being synthetic. Um, usually laced with some other kind of stimulant or or depressant, but uh he's going to be transported to RMC. He'll be treated um they'll do a blood draw. Um state is going to require that the blood draw is done by the doctors. >> Then they'll just they'll treat all his symptoms until he's good to go and he'll get released back to his mother. >> So, we got sent to a disturbance. The actual incident occurred at a separate address where we're going. Um, supposedly a juvenile got into an altercation with his sister's boyfriend and they have separated. So, we're going to contact him at his apartment and figure out what's going on and go from there. >> What kind of dog do they have? >> What's up? >> What's up? You called me, dude. What's going on? >> Uhhuh. >> TJ. >> Yeah, sure. >> So, me and my sister were arguing. And >> you and your sister. >> And then, uh, she just started fighting me, I guess. And so, I just kept sitting there while she was hitting me. >> And then I spit on her. And then so TJ got up and then she started yelling, he spit on me >> and then he just started putting hands on me and while I was in the corner and then Trent came in and then just tried blocking him and it took a minute and then I actually got out and I just ran >> and then Are you injured at all? >> I mean I'm hurt but not injured. >> What do you mean? Like you're sore. >> Do you need anything else for anything? >> No, you don't need anything else. >> Cuz she was being disrespectful. She said she's going to beat me and train up cuz how our mouth is just saying I was being disrespectful. >> You and Trent. She said I was being disrespectful and show she started [snorts] getting all mad and saying she going to beat me up cuz and she just started mentioning Trent cuz she don't like Trent and she said she going to beat herself cuz we have a dish now. >> Okay. Where'd she hit you >> first? Okay. >> Cuz she just started grabbing me and punching me. >> Like where where is she touching you on your body? >> I don't remember. You got to ask her. >> Okay. But it's your body. You're telling me you don't remember what happened? >> I I got punched in my face a bunch of times >> today by your sister >> by TJ. >> No. Okay. >> So, you don't remember what happened with your sister? >> But you get into an altercation with your sister and you spit on her and then TJ got mad and so he started hitting you and then Trent came in and tried to break it up. >> Okay. Well, he was watching for a minute and then tried to >> Okay. Where did TJ hit you? >> In my face. Right here. Cuz he kept going from my side cuz I was blocking my face in the corner. >> How many times do you think he hit you? >> Like six times or five? Six or seven. And he missed a bunch. >> Okay. Is he closed hand like a fist or open hand like a slap? He >> was punching. Okay. >> Was he saying anything while he's punching you? >> A lot. >> Do you know what he was saying? Yes, I'll say it. But he's he to he kind of grabbed me by my face a little bit and I was like trying to get him off and he was like call the cops kill you. And I was like I wasn't listening cuz he says that all the time you >> nervous. >> Yes. >> Okay. Um do you know what's going on with with uh >> I mean everything was cleared out. I died. I mean, it's between them and the sisters and siblings. So, I mean, they're both calm down. I'm sorry you guys had to come out here. >> Okay. >> So, are you wanting to press charges at all for the battery? >> No. >> Okay. >> I didn't even know you guys were coming. >> Okay. Well, he called us, I think, as he left TJ's house and was headed back this direction. So, >> Okay. So, I mean, we're good. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Uh, we're just going to document it just because we've been out here, made contact with everybody. Um, anybody have any new phone numbers or anything? No, we're good. >> Okay. >> All right. Thank you. >> Yep. >> All right. >> Have a good night. >> Thank you. >> Um, so we just got done speaking with the calling party and the father. So, it's a disturbance between both siblings. They're both under the age of 18. The parent doesn't want to press the issue. Doesn't want to press any charges. So, we're going to document that. We went out there and contacted them and we'll just leave it at that. on a way to a domestic violence call. Individual says that he's trying to get some property and sounds like he got beat up. >> 23 122. We're going to be in the church parking lot across the street from Bradford >> Glenn. ID. >> Yeah. Are you okay? You okay? >> Need ambulance. >> Okay. See, bless. >> You got his ID, but he speaks like no English. So, >> it's Pedro. >> You got it. You said you got him identified. >> Yeah. Yeah, he he gave me his ID. Fore. Okay. Um, so basically his name is Samuel, not Pedro. My bad. It's the last name. Um, basically he's private. Basically, he's saying he's been having issues with his girlfriend. Um, he said the apartment's in his name. He lives there with her kids. Um, basically the issue with him is that he's not getting any privacy there. So, he's been tired of it and they've had arguments over it. So, he voluntarily chose to leave. Well, he says he comes back over here cuz he wants to get the rest of his stuff. He says he's at the pool. uh girlfriend shows up. They start arguing. He said he gets upset, starts screaming. He admits to cussing and being animated like the hand motions he was making. >> Yeah. >> They're having an animated uh heated argument by the pool and he thinks he's saying the kids his her kids saw this and one of her sons has his friends with him and he thinks they may have misinterpreted what was going on. Well, the they get physical. They follow them out here and they beat him on the grass for like 3 minutes. He says they're kicking and punching before they eventually stop on their own. Uh he said all he could do is basically get into that fetal position um while they were beating. Um he says he eventually runs off and comes this way and then waits for us to get here. >> So it's one of her kids and his friend. >> Yeah. >> Okay. And his friends. Yeah. He said they're all minor. They're all minor. No other injuries. No. No. Okay. Which which son hit him? >> John Paul. Okay. >> John Paul should have a warrant. >> Yeah. I' I've dealt with John Paul before. Cool. He's uh he wants to get his personal belongings like clothes, >> clothes, shoes, pants, stuff. Yeah, I understood some of those words. >> Nothing. >> Yeah, just just personal stuff so he can >> He said he got here on foot, but he can call his brother. >> She says they've been hanging out at the pool like all day. her. She went and picked up a friend at like 2:00. They've been hanging out at the pool. He find she says they are not together. He keeps finding reasons to say that they're together. They're not together. Just like they broke it off. He does still have property there, but says that uh he comes over and he just like hops in the pool like he's going to start swimming and like just inserting himself there. >> He said he has swims on. That's why he pulled his shorts down was to show his swim trunks cuz his shorts are wet. >> Okay. And I don't know what caused the argument from there, but basically she says he just starts freaking out and he's like, "Well, I'm going to go get a judge and get all this stuff and get involved to get all my property." She's like, "I don't know what you're freaking out about. You can go get your property. We're just here right now and you're freaking out." Um, her 15year-old son, who she does not want to give me the name of, and >> it's John Paul. >> Okay. and told her to and told him to run when the police were getting called because she doesn't want him to have any police contact. >> Yep. That's that's a consistency of the the apartment. >> Okay. >> Supposedly, he has a warrant for him. Yeah. >> So, uh he's not here. Uh sees that and she doesn't want to say anything else other than my son's not to defend me. So, it sounds like he and his ex have been on and off here recently and came over to get some of his stuff. Gets into a altercation with his ex as well as her 16-year-old son. So, 15 16-year-old son. So, he's uh we're going to go over there so we can grab his stuff so we don't have any more issues hopefully tonight. >> 1223 and 23. >> You want to go first and let her know we're going over there? >> Yeah, I'll jump up there. >> Yeah. Police department. 23 to 122. No one's answering the apartment. No, >> somebody. >> They did. Hi. Hey, is Samuel able to come grab his stuff real quick? >> Yeah. Tell him to go to the back door. No one's here. It's just me. >> Okay. Yeah. Hey, 23. Uh, we got an answer at the door. Uh, they say go to the back door and he can grab his stuff. Are you Which one are you? Sorry. >> Okay. Were you here with all this crazy stuff? >> I was sleeping. I woken up to it. >> You're like, "What the heck?" >> Yeah, I was like that. And then I told my mom I was like, "Why you got to know that the pool making a scene?" >> She said they weren't making a scene. So I was like, >> "That's fair." All right. Thanks, man. >> Cool. can't I can't give you right today. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Okay. >> He'll get there. >> Okay. All right. Give us a call back if you need it. >> Okay. Thank you. >> So, uh we were able to let uh that guy get his uh some of his property out so he doesn't have a reason to come back. We'll document everything he said and his uh ex said and send it up to detectives. So, we got a call for it originally came in as a fireworks, but now it's going to it's changed to a citizen dispute. Apparently, there's about 11 people fighting right now. Uh pushing and shoving. Um we got a little bit of a code run. This is going to be fun. copy. Breakfast heading towards this distance coming in at Ian Memorial Park. The RP did advise someone drove by and started shooting. We're getting multiple callers for it. The red Mustang >> 29. Did you say go to Ian Deutsch? >> You just wanted to Ian Deutsch. Be advised, I have reports that someone's being shot and they're needing medics. >> 13. I'm going to Ian Deutsch. >> I have their victim on 911 saying he's been shot. >> Where's he at? >> Trying to find out. >> So, we just got a call for >> the hospital. He's the victim. He's in a car in the back of the hospital. We got we were in rout to a fight that happened to Ian Deutsch. The victim is self transporting to the hospital. He says he's been shot. Hang on. >> 2922. Is it a confirmed gunshot warning and where is it at? >> Uh did not confirm. We're just going to get to DVH at least on the park and then we'll assess from there. But we're panicking and freaking out. Someone's trying in the back and a lot of people are in that vehicle trying to get them to deviation. >> Okay, >> stop hanging out of the car. >> K95, car one is trying to get you to stop driving to the hospital. He's advising to stop driving to the hospital. >> 95, copy. They just arrived at the hospital. We will tell them not to. They're in the lobby area now. >> Copy. >> K95 one. >> Gunshot. >> Back up. He has multiple gunshot wounds. side. >> I'm just confirming if we have anything else at Ian Deutsch Park if there's any other victims or if we have any other victims that we know of this way. >> Was he ever you ever see him respond at all? >> Y >> where's the shoot? Come with me. Come with me. Come with me. >> Oh my god. >> Stop. >> Take a break. Take a deep breath. >> Oh my god. >> Take a deep breath. >> We as they're working on him right now. He hasn't been called it yet. Okay. Take a deep breath. HEY. >> Oh my god. >> Take a deep breath. Take a deep breath. >> Dude, I saw him. We almost My kids almost got shot. I saw >> What happened? [laughter] This dude in a red Coro named Carlos came with the >> Carlos suit. Do you know >> we don't even know these people. We don't even know these people. They're in a red a red Camaro and they have an automatic they let they let off the whole clip. All my kids were in the truck and Joey they just they >> shot at the truck. >> They shot at my truck. Joey was in >> talking to him. [laughter] >> Listen. They shot at my truck. They were baby stop it. They shot at the truck with all my kids. Joey was inside of the back of the truck. He just got jumped by the dude. The guy that was that was starting a fight was at his cousin. >> Dr. Toin. It's not your cousin. >> It's mom. I promise it's not my >> Do you want me to send medic >> 13? I got a weird feeling we're going to need another hand over here. >> Find something else to do. >> Hey, bro. >> Just do me a favor. >> I know you. You know me. Okay, let's relax. Okay. >> What the What's so necessary about this? Just ignore them. Okay. >> Tragedy sucker. >> Bro, check it out. Come talk with me. Okay. >> So, the victim's uh he's gone. >> Yeah, they called it. >> Do they know that yet? >> No. No. Family doesn't know. Mom's not here yet. I don't have it next to Kim. >> N County police are searching for two people believed to be involved in a deadly shooting at a Peron Park. And tonight, Fox 5 is hearing from the NY County Sheriff after one of the suspects turned himself in. Police say 22-year-old Joey Perry was killed Saturday night after multiple people fired shots into a crowd during a movie screening at Ian Deutsch Memorial Park in Perump killing in the Perump killing. According to witnesses, the incident followed a large fight involving about 50 juveniles. >> Like I literally covered up my 5-year-old like I was standing next to Joey like this and I said, "Get in the truck." Oh my god. The camera came and said like turned around and said and it was gone, dude. and it hit the like at the truck and Joey got hit and I was like this with my 5-year-old. >> So, we got a call for a weapons offensity in Deutsch Park. Um, it was kind of all over the place and really jumbled up. So, we ended up going down there and on our way down there, the victim of the of the weapon offense turned out to be a shooting. The victim of the shooting was already loaded up into a truck and was on their way down to the hospital. At one point during their way to the hospital, they came across K9 five who's Deputy Wills. And they waved him down say saying, "I got somebody hurt in the back of the car. We need to get to the hospital." Wills ended up escorting him. Then we kind of followed him behind him. Um and then we got down to the hospital, pulled up here. Once we pulled up, we all got out of the car, evaluated the situation, found that there was an individual with a with uh gunshot wounds to the chest and to the arm. uh multiple gunshot wounds. Um when I flipped him over, he wasn't breathing. He was I mean, he was unconscious. Uh medics or medical staff from DVH came out and they began uh life-saving me uh they excuse me, they began to perform life-saving measures on the on the individual, but ultimately they failed. They uh he was pronounced dead in the hospital. Um, we had a detective come out. He did the his whole thing with a with a deceased or with a with a with a gunshot or excuse me, a homicide. Um, we have to have a detective come out. They come out and do their thing. They interview everybody. They take pictures of the body. They take pictures of of the of the scene of the vehicle, whatever it may be. Um, and they do their their whole in-depth investigation. >> Um, at one point during the uh >> during the at one point during the investigation, Detective Fans had to leave. Um, and we had to kind of finish everything up. But as of right now, um, deputies and SWAT, they're currently on a house right now looking to try to, uh, try to catch these guys who did it. Um, we're not sure exactly. I'm not sure exactly where they're at right now or or how much of the of the items that they've found yet, but hopefully we'll get a little bit more of an update soon here. So, one of the things that uh happened while we were here is while we're trying to get uh the the victim, Joseph, into the hospital, more and more people kept showing up. And with emotions that high, it's really unknown what can happen. and they could if they're trying to get back to see the see the victim for themselves. They could try to push back pass through the through the doors ultimately hurting some of the medical staff. I didn't feel comfortable with any of it. I called for I called for a secondary unit or excuse me a third unit because there was already two of us there um to come kind of help and kind of push back all these different people that are showing up cuz they um and then we had uh with you guys I I don't want you guys getting involved in that and a lot of times with emotions that are so high especially with with the situation that we were dealing with I I didn't really feel comfortable with you guys being around I didn't feel comfortable with all these people showing up ultimately it became a safe safety risk for us, for for the camera crew, for anybody who really anybody or everybody on scene. So that's why we called for another unit >> be in front of two star towing with one. Oh, I know who this is. What's up, bro? You're uh what's your last name again? >> Yeah. >> Okay. You're not the person we're looking for. Never mind. >> Uh somebody called and they said they said that you look like somebody that was one of our wanted guys, but as soon as I pull up, I'm like, that's uh last name, though. >> All right, bro. >> See you, man. >> All right, brother. Thank you. I appreciate that. No, that's uh Yeah. kind of looks similar though. >> Yeah. >> Oh, we can keep I guess keep looking. Yeah. All righty. So, that was definitely not our wanted individual. I've known him from prior contacts and definitely not him. We're going to keep on ATL in the area just in case. So, we just got attached to an investigation. It's for a followup related to a homicide that occurred yesterday. Um, we've got two I don't know their exact involvements. We've got two gentlemen who are at our office right now willing to give a statement related to the homicide. I don't know if these guys are uh potential suspects or if they're related to maybe some of the victims. But, we'll get down there >> and uh go ahead. get them, you know, into our interrogation room or interview room, if you would call it, and we'll let the detectives know. The detectives will come down and do uh interviews related to it. Like I said, I'm not sure of these these guys involvement, but we'll get down there and uh get them ready for detectives to come speak with them. How are you? >> Well, you gentlemen here to speak with the detectives. >> Yeah. Are we able to go somewhere with AC or do we have to? >> Yeah, we're just waiting out here. They got to come unlock the door for us. >> Champlain. Pleasure. Okay. You guys have IDs on you? >> No. >> You don't have an ID? Okay. No weapons, guns. >> No. Okay. Can I do a pat of you real quick? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Just going to make sure you guys don't got any guns. You're good. You can stop. You can stop moving. You're good. You're good. I'm just going to patch your waist. Now, I work for core stepping. I get tired of Gotcha. Make sure you guys don't got no gaps on you. >> Good. >> All right, we just hang out right here. Like I said, we got a detective lieutenant coming over. >> Um, and they'll we'll get you inside. There's an AC, water, all that good stuff. >> I heard they r my mom. So, >> Okay. So, you're Are you big brother? Okay. >> And yeah, I I did go to Lakeside last night. >> Okay. >> Um I had people question me while I was there. And >> yeah, well, I'm not going to do any questioning. Just >> just hang out and then we'll get the >> wait inside the car or we have to stay out. >> We'll hang right here for now. >> All right. We're going to walk in. You guys got everything you need. Phone, wallet, keys, doors locked. Okay, we can take this sidewalk over here. >> We don't want to Yeah. We don't want to mess up the rocks. >> Typically, especially in a situation like this where someone's dead. >> Mhm. >> It's usually in everyone's best interest, especially if they don't have a part in it, any information related to it >> is is pertinent because at the end of the day, someone's someone died. >> Exactly. And regardless of their involvement, regardless of who they were as a person, regardless of if if they were, you know, the cause of it, someone still passed away, someone still died from from another person >> Yeah. >> shooting them. So there needs to be consequences to it to to a, you know, full extent of what we can do. And and the more information we have, the more information that we can give to the prosecutors, the the better it is for really everybody. cuz for this to go un unpunished or un uh >> you know unaffected would be bad. >> Yeah. >> Hey, do you mind talking to me just a couple of minutes? So, I appreciate that. >> Thanks, LT. >> Well, you didn't get washed out in handcuffs. >> Oh, no. >> That's good. >> I'm happy. At least that's all I cared about. >> Yeah, >> I just go home. >> What are your plans for the rest of the day? >> Yeah. Go home and be grateful. grateful I had. >> I thought that was going to lead somewhere else. [laughter] >> I don't know how they how they were making this sound. My mom made it sound like y'all were just ready to come give me like >> Dude, full house got ready. >> I was going to I was going to activate the FBI for you, dude. >> Figure, man. >> High high value target. High value target. >> Go home and chill. Enjoy your Sunday. >> Yeah, that's all I could do. Be glad I get to be out here on the other side. >> That's right. >> Yeah, dude. Eat some good food, too. >> Hey, listen. Don't be dogging on jail food. It might be bad. >> It might be bad, but Neutral Loaf is good. >> Nah, you know what's good in there? Just the commentary, probably. >> Yeah, but it's expensive. >> It is. >> You got to pay like $6 for a bag of Cheetos. >> Oh, yeah. Three $4 for a ramen noodle >> for And they're like the tiny little cup ones. >> You $3. You can never really warm them up, right? >> Ever. So, we just got done over at the office with uh the detective lieutenant. He interviewed both of those subjects. Um they ended up being witness related uh not suspect related or or victim related. They were just witnesses. Um so, all in all, pretty good. Neither were detained or arrested. They spoke with uh lieutenant and and answered what questions he had. So, they were free to leave. They left and uh we also left. No questions for us. So, we're around the corner from the candle light for Joey Perry. He's the individual who died um during that shooting. Um what this is is this is this essentially is what it's it shows how much the community here from comes together. Um, everybody probably will be here and whoever is here are relatively close friends with him, have dealt with him in multiple times, um, or who are real close. Um, this really just shows how how big how close of a community we are and how, uh, how much of an impact one soul does to the whole community. So, we're pulling up right now. I appreciate you guys being cool, man. >> Can I touch the cop? I'll call you back. >> I'm not trying to sign no problem. >> No. And and that's what is very apparent that that's the case. It's just there's so much emotion right now for everybody over there that like any little bad look, any little wrong sneeze, man, it's going to set everybody off. I I don't know how close you were with the kid, but if you guys are close, I'm sorry for your loss. If you guys weren't that close, I appreciate you showing your respect at least. Um, but yeah, if you guys don't mind just kicking just go. >> I'm not talking about the job. I just got out. That's what I'm doing. >> Okay. >> You feel? So, I'm just trying to >> All right, man. I keep my nose out of the >> I appreciate you [music] guys taking off, man. Love you. >> Love you. [cheering] [screaming] I would just like to say thank you to Deputy Brian and Sheriff McIll and Under Sheriff >> um for everything that they have [music] done through this case. Um I dealt with Deputy Brian at the hospital. Um, he is the one that walked me in and told me Joey was deceased. Um stories >> and then for all the work that Detective Brooks or Detective Brook Gentry and um the under sheriff and Sheriff McIll and just all of the department has done behind the scenes to catch these guys and that they're still doing. Um just thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Um, all I ask is for justice to be served for my son.
