[Music] 17 in route. So, right now we're on route to a possible pursuit. Um, Deputy Ramos is trying to catch up to a vehicle that is failing to yield. It is a quad. >> He's turning west. >> Turning west. North, east, south. He's on Pump Valley. Um, he's chasing a quad at this point. 17. I'll be on black and j >> um red quad black >> and black. >> He's coming right at me. >> Where are you at, dude? >> He's coming up on black. Headed eastbound on black. >> On black. We're on black. >> Headed north. Northbound on black. [Music] >> Continuing northbound on Black. Passing Cal. >> Passing Cal. >> There we go. >> South 19. I'm taking up call outing north on Black. >> They're right up here. >> 19. We're going to continue eastbound on Red Rocks. >> Eastbound Red Rock. Turn around. We're not heading eastbound on Red Rock from Florida. 19. We're continuing northbound on tiptop. Approximately 45 miles an hour. No traffic. [Music] Cop 19. Looks to be a WMA wearing a gray shirt, black mask on with blue jeans. >> 19 looks like he's digging in his waist, man. >> Can do it, dude. Can do it. >> 19 is going into the desert. Heading eastbound now. South 19. I believe we're going to be >> Silver Peak. >> South 19. Somebody else can take calls on what road we're on now. >> 17. I'll take over southbound on South Peak or Silver Peak. We're going southbound on Silver Peak. [Music] >> We're going southbound on Silver Peak. Approaching Red Rock. He is now heading west. He's cut through the dirt again. He's going to go back on um the street we were just on. >> 19 back towards Red Rock now 19. We're now northbound on Red Rock. We're continuing now back westbound through the desert. >> Let's see. We're going to go that way. 19 westbound on Dra Ford past Adams. >> So they're going that way. >> Where you guys at? >> They're going towards comfort. >> Westbound. >> Westbound or eastbound. >> Northbound on Corbin. >> Corbin. Northbound on Corbin. Yeah. >> Get stopped. westbound through the dirt. >> So he's trying to get >> on. >> Damn, he's way out there. >> Southbound on Warren. >> Southbound on Warren. [Music] We'll go here. Let's keep going. Charleston Park all the way. One thing in pursuit you always got to be wary of is those intersections because of the fact that cars may not necessarily hear you. or see you. Especially in daytime. >> Southbound through the desert. >> East of Flamingo in the desert. >> Eastbound on Flamingo through the desert. >> So he's over here. We got our deputies over there. >> Eastbound on Cody. >> Eastbound on Cody. >> Cody and Banovich. Uh >> let's see. Where's Where's He's still going eastbound. I see him on >> southbound over there. [Music] >> Cool. So, we got >> 372. >> Okay, he's going back on 372. >> Spike 372. >> Oh, nice. We got spike strip set up north. We're going to cut them off right there. See if we can cut him off on Cody. >> He's on, man. He's back south. >> He's back south again. I just washed my car, too, like a few days ago. That's the sad part. >> Headed south. He's south from Alvra headed toward 372. >> He's south from Alvra. >> Heading towards 372. We can cut him off on 372. >> He's down from the desert. >> There he is. >> He's on Venus. Dirt road to Venus. >> Are we doing it? Are we doing it? We're Let's get it. >> That might be northbound on Windy. That next street is Windy. >> Unit on Mars. He if you go northbound from there, he is going to I'm here. You'll see him on your left. All right, cool. He's still He has eyes on him. I don't see him. I'm going to go Charleston Park. >> Heading westbound. He's going westbound now. So, he's on the street right up here. Right where we're at. Here it comes. We almost had him cuz Wendy's right there. >> He's going north southbound on Barney. Have you said somebody? >> One thing you also want to keep into consideration is our sirens and how fast we're going because typically people won't hear our sirens by the time until the time we're like right on their bumper. So, we got to take that into consideration, too. We'll just go this way. >> Northbound on Happy Lane. >> Northbound on Happy Lane. >> Happy Lane. >> There he's up there. Yeah, I can see him. 96. He's going to be still northbound happy. >> So, because of the fact that he has blew their stop signs and it's more of a risk, we're terminating the pursuit. Um, we're going to try to see if we can see him from >> So, he's we've turned off our license sirens. We're just we're bubbling in the area. So, we're going to see if we can see him up here in the desert. Um, he's on our right side somewhere in that desert. So, we're going to come up to Basin and see if maybe we can just see him at least. But right now, because of the fact he blew through the intersection, the stop signs at like 70, we terminated because it's a public risk. And we're back on. >> And do not chase him. If we can get in front of him and stop sneaking, that's great. >> He's headed through the desert headed towards 372 from Charleston Park southbound towards 372. Looks like he's stuck. Oh, >> yeah. >> He is stuck. >> He's stuck. Let's try to get into him. Yeah. Hands >> on. We got a fight. >> Oh, we got a fight. >> Fight station fight. >> They're in a fight up here. >> Nice. Got him in custody. Yeah. Good job. 17. If he's in custody, we can lift the red. There you go. There's your guy. That's your motorcycle. Your quad. Cool. All right. So, one of our deputies, he stopped a vehicle or he tried to attempt to stop a quad. Um that quad ultimately took off from him and he uh led us on a pursuit. Um we >> we got him into custody after he got stuck here in the desert. Uh while he was trying to get his quad back working again, he ended up fighting with the deputies and they were able to take him into custody. So as you see back there, there's the quad. He's in the backup patrol car and that's the end of that call. He's going to jail most likely for felony eluding uh for endangering the public. And right now they're confirming to see if that quad is in fact stolen or to see if he is in fact uh wanted or why he ran and stuff like that. After a pursuit and going through the desert and everything like that, we typically like to inspect our vehicles to make sure they're still up and running. Make sure we don't have any flats. Make sure we don't have any thing that can prevent us from getting to our next call. So, right now I'm just going to check our vehicle, walk around, make sure everything's good. I can still smell my brakes. Um, but other than that, that's pretty much it. >> All right. Going to walk right up this uh stairwell here. >> All right. So, regarding our pursuit from earlier today that Deputy Ramos initiated with the uh red quad, um we got new intel basically stating that he admitted to getting in the pursuit because he just got the quad and he wanted to test it out and see exactly how it how his quad goes and how fast it goes. Needless to say, he probably needs a faster quad because we caught him. But, um that's pretty much why he ran. So, right now we're going to go back up another unit who's currently in pursuit of a motorcycle that's occupied twice. Um, >> traffic still light. Speed 70. It's going to be a black street bike occupied two tracks. It's like one male on the driver's seat, female on the rear seat. >> So, got a male and a female passenger. Um, >> traffic. >> We're in the area. So, >> it's actually in my sector and we're in the area. So, we're going to >> be able to capture. >> So, right now they're trying to figure out what's going on. Sounds like South 22 is uh trying to key up, but >> southbound through the desert. coming south through the desert. >> Sounds like they're staying in the valley and the street bike continued to go southbound through the desert off of the area of Stephanie and Bel Vista. So, our units currently trailing him through the desert. Jones, we're going to be running could be running no time over time. >> Sounds like one of our unit is in a foot pursuit with the gentleman right over here. Uh I'll get your address. He's hiding behind. Stop right there. Stop right there. Stop right there. You going to be in this property right here directly southeast or southwest of you. >> Shut up. Perimeter. Where is he at? Where's he talking about? All right. So, we're currently containing the area. It sounds like our unit possibly may have lost him in this area. So, we're going to contain and see if we can get eyes on this guy. Make sure you're watching east towards the desert. He's out clear. Is he out with the female? >> Oh, what is that? That's a good position, dude. Saying it's possibly Blake Jones, dude. So, we just received some information from our deputy that he possibly believes that this is a wana fugitive that we've been looking for for a while. His name is Blake Jones and he has a history of eluding us and he has gotten away from us a numerous amount of times to the point where there's other agencies that are involved and they want this guy um locked up. So >> only on Fox 5 tonight, the Night County Sheriff's Office wants your help to find this man. They say he has been a one-man crime spree. This is who the sheriff's office is looking for, Blake Jones. On the NY County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, one poster calls him the real life Charlie Brown. The sheriff calls him something else and is worried he could hurt or kill someone. >> Our unit saying that it was possibly him in a pursuit with uh with the deputy tonight. So, um he had just crashed on the street by the deputy saying that he's hurt and he's somewhere within this property. Um, so hopefully we can we got a perimeter set up and hopefully it's a good enough perimeter to where we can lock this gentleman down into one specific area and uh and uh get him into custody. >> There's a subject standing on Bell Vista couple hundred yards past the residence where we are now. >> Copy. Is that going to be to the west? To the left. Fair. [Music] Let's ask this guy. >> Excuse me, sir. Have you seen anybody standing in the middle of the road over here? >> No, sir. >> Okay. >> No. >> All right. Thank you, sir. >> Okay. Thank you. There's nobody, dude. >> He wearing black shirts. >> He's in front of this residence. He just ran back in >> DOS two. Step over here. Step over here. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Why? >> Put your hands Why? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Why? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Yeah, dude. >> Oh, hi. Oh, you guys are doing the show again. That's what it is. Why are you being so abrupt with me? >> Why are you so nervous? >> It's in front of you. >> Do two. >> I'll be Bel Vista and Corbin just north of with that female. I want to talk to someone superior to you. I really do. >> Do two, she is now detained. >> For what? For what? >> I'll let you know in a second. >> Oh, will you? >> For what? >> Cuz you just ran in the street. >> How did I How did I run? I did not run. >> Alexandra, don't play this game. >> I'm not playing this game. You guys need to stop playing this game. And that officer of you guys, you guys need to take control of that guy, too. You know that? >> Well, maybe you guys should stop running. >> No, maybe. Why are you guys chasing? Why are you guys chasing? That's what I want to know. No. Why are you guys chasing us? Why? >> Right now, you're detained. Who are you? >> Yeah, I'm sure. >> You know, you know what it was for? An FTA, right? You're not going to care. No. No. You're not going to care. It's okay. I'm going to get a [ __ ] lawyer and I'm going to handle this. I'm sick of this [ __ ] >> Step out. >> Step out for what? >> I got to search you real quick. [ __ ] >> No, you're not going to search me. [ __ ] [ __ ] you, [ __ ] [ __ ] taggot. [ __ ] piece of [ __ ] [ __ ] cop, dude. >> Oh, [ __ ] >> Now you're going to [ __ ] jail. >> Well, I am going to jail. I'm going to jail no matter what. What are you talking about? No matter where I go to jail. Are you serious? This what you guys do. >> You won't get judged. [ __ ] this is [ __ ] Search. Search. Search. Bro. You're not going to find >> All right. Get in. >> Oh, thanks. That was [ __ ] That was a search. >> Can I get my wallet, please? >> Yeah, I'll have it. >> What's your name? A name name and badge number. >> My name is Deputy Diaz. Mhm. >> My badge number is 004268. >> Thank you. Yep. They're in full pursuit with them right now. >> The Knight County Police Department is top three of the most corrupt police departments in the whole nation. >> In case you didn't know that, >> Alexander, just chill. Relax. >> That is not a lie. >> Look, we're not at the end of the day. >> At the end of the day, >> at the end of the day, >> yes, >> you're not the bad person, okay? You just associate with bad people. >> No. And and and but but you know what though? I wouldn't associate with bad people. You know, >> like there's perspective is a there's a big thing to perspective. You know what I mean? A lot. There's many variables that many people don't see. Unfortunately, >> so they have one custody. Um the uh female party that we were out with on Corbin and Belle Vista is the girlfriend of Blake Jones and that's the gentleman that we've been looking for for a while. So, um, we're going to reconvene with the other units and see how we're going to proceed. Mr. Jones, definitely going to jail tonight. So, um, we're going to see what's going on. Hey, Alexander, you need medical or anything? >> No. >> Okay. >> Hey, where's the girl at? Uh, she couldn't get off >> this time. I don't think she had nothing to do with it, but we'll talk to her. >> Don't move. >> Yeah, you're good. >> Just don't move. >> Keep pushing. This one cup is killing you, dude. >> It's not killing you. >> It's tight as [ __ ] Look at it, dude. It's pretty tight, dude. Just a little bit. Yeah, >> that's sweet. >> [ __ ] >> Damn, dude. You look way older than what I remember you looking like. >> Running from the la takes its toll. >> It takes its toll, dude. >> Jumpy. >> Hey, good eyes, man. I was heading over there. He was waving that flashlight. So I started getting up to the fence. I was like, >> "Well, that's why I ran drove up cuz I saw him." He walked out and walked right back in. He thought he was evil conval though. Wrecking bikes, running around. >> He been for a minute. >> Yeah, but I was involved in the foot pursuit this time. >> Oh, yeah. That's why. Huh. >> Yep. >> 25 years will get you. >> Yep. How long you been running, Blake? >> Too long. Probably feels like forever, huh? Looking over your shoulder, running every chance you get. >> Well, you So, >> so you'll keep my stuffing. >> Did you pick up his stuff over there? Hey, Beard, you know, if he picked up his stuff. >> Uh, on the ground, dude. >> Okay, >> sir. Sir, >> what? >> I'm going to pass. >> I can't understand what you're saying. >> It's okay. If I sit down, I pass out, sir. You're going to pass out. >> They sit on the push bar, bro. Right there. Turn around. Sit there. That way. At least you're Yeah. You're not laying on the freaking hot hood. >> That's more comfortable for him anyways. >> Yeah. I'm going to fall. I swear you guys feel kind of dizzy. >> So, what's up with your girl, man? Why are you putting her life at risk? You're running with her in the back >> on a bike? >> On a bike. Dude, >> you're going to be famous, Blake. You're not county famous now. You're going to be like world famous. Let me ask you this. >> Do you guys not think you guys have not humiliated us enough? >> What? What? What do you mean? >> I'm telling you, people don't take the time to listen to someone's story or what's really happened. Yes, >> we're getting the medics. This is not right. >> Alexandra, we're getting the medics. They're right down the street. >> How do you not feel bad about this, dude? Do you even know what's going on? Well, I got I'm going to talk to you in a minute. >> Will you talk to me? >> Oh, yeah. >> Are you even going to care? >> I'm I'm going to Of course. >> No, you're not. Yes. >> Be quiet. >> Dad, be quiet. >> Stop talking. >> She's a grown woman. She can do what she wants. >> Thanks for losing my cuff the other. >> You know what? >> You're welcome. Well, >> he wrecked the bike at pretty high rate speed. He's got like some lacerations on his arm, >> hands, and his pants off. >> Stand up, man. >> He's saying he's dizzy water. Yeah. >> Well, stand up first and let them assess you. >> Here, turn around and sit around. >> You wouldn't be so thirsty if you weren't running, bro. >> That's a you problem right now. >> I'm going to be nice to you real quick. Take some sips of water. >> Yes, sir. >> Did you fall on your back at all? >> I see some scrapes on your back. I'm sorry, guys. >> You spit on my deputy. >> Oh, sir. I wasn't yet, sir. >> You just spit on my boots. >> Oh, >> I'll forgive you, Blake. >> Sorry, sir. Still, >> one scratch right there. Does this hurt? There's >> a scratch right there. >> Did you lose consciousness? >> No, not right there. >> What's that? >> Knock. >> No, I'm talking when you when when you knocked when you >> your bike. I just can't breathe, guys. >> All right. >> I have really bad asthma. >> You're strong. Bad asthma. You were running. So that's not good. >> And you're running a thousand cc bike from the cops. I mean, >> what do you take for your asthma? >> Cheers. >> Super tactical. >> Super tactical one. >> Oh, yeah. >> All right. Did you take anything else tonight? >> No, this cut's going pretty tight. >> Was that a few together? >> Well, well, I mean, there's cause and effect, but I'm worried about you right now. >> All right. What's your name? >> Blake. >> What? Blake. >> Yeah. >> Blake, what's your last name? >> Okay. You know where you're at right now? What town? >> 12. >> Very good. You know what year it is? >> 214. >> Very good. Who's the president? >> You don't have to like him. Who is >> If I give you four quarters, how much money you Very good. Let's check some vitals. >> Well, you got your driver's license on you. >> You want to go to the hospital? >> Relax arm. Okay, you're getting a full sauce right now to check your oxygen. >> Nice. >> 98%. >> 98%. >> Yeah, it's really good. >> That's really good. >> I think you're tired cuz you just been uh on a little pursuit. >> I don't I don't wish you >> I wish I wish that you >> common sense and get away. >> Well, I mean, he's going to like jail. So, I was sitting on uh I was sitting on Greta basically waiting for another vehicle to go mobile. Uh at that time, I saw a headlight that looked like a motorcycle light. Uh basically coming down eastbound down Greta and it was a substantially long distance. Uh a lot of people don't travel Greta that distance for any reason uh other than take back street. So, I was blacked out on the side of the street between a couple bushes. And as it got closer, I turned on my radio. I had my windows down. I could hear the engine and I I realized it was a street bike. Now, uh there's a subject that we had been looking for that was a wanted suspect and a whole bunch of other uh felony evading, felony pursuits. Uh and it was said that he was driving this black street bike. So based on that information, as it passed, I immediately kicked out behind it and activated my lights and sirens, at which time it took off at a high rate of speed. Uh during the pursuit, it lasted about 5 6 minutes. Uh we ended up all the way over here off of Banovich and Belle Vista area where he uh uh took to the desert, the dirt roads. Uh lost control once and ejected the female passenger uh which is now learned to be his girlfriend. At that time, uh, he continued away from her at a high rate of speed through the desert. Uh, taking a dirt road, almost losing control again before cladding with a fence. Uh, that resulted in a quick foot pursuit to a property where I lost visual. Uh, we set up containment. Through setting up containment, we blocked his route of escape. Uh, he sucked back into the property and then he ended up making a break forward across Bell Vista to the north into the desert where he was uh, eventually caught and apprehended. Uh, at this time we're just basically running medical through them, make sure they're cleared, and then we will be towing the vehicle and uh, heading to jail to take them into custody and get them booked. Alexandra, so here's here's my thing, Alexandra, is if you're going to sit here and be mad at me. >> All right, >> I'm very upset with you. Yeah, I'm upset with him either, but I'm still with you. Of course I am. >> Right. Right. But if you're going to be upset with me, >> right? I'm upset with myself. I'm upset with him. >> Well, I'm just saying I didn't drive the bike at a high rate of speed. Correct. I didn't even know who you were. >> I pulled out behind the bike and you took off. >> I didn't know who you were. >> How is that? It's always you though. What's that? >> It's always you cuz you're just that good at >> It's always me. Yeah. >> Yeah. Right. >> Strange, right? It's like God God put us together for some reason. >> I think you and I believe in different gods. >> Oh, maybe I believe in the God that takes bad guys to jail. >> Crazy, huh? >> I think you're a little ego, too. >> So, here's here's the thing. All right. I know you were on the back of the bike. You had no way to get off. Do you understand? So, I'm not charging you with nothing. Do you understand? So, at this time, you're free to leave. If you like to talk some more, then we can talk. >> All right. >> You know, I almost wish we could so that we could come to an understanding, but I know it's not going to help, >> you know. But >> Alexander, I have nothing against you. I already spoke with you before at the last pursuit. Do you understand? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, if you're if you're mad at me, >> then you're mad at the wrong person. >> Go ahead. Step out of the vehicle so I can get you a question. >> Where was your backpack at? Where was your backpack at? I don't know. >> Did you leave it over there? >> Have you seen it? Do you know where it's at in frontage? >> Oh, it's got to be over there. So, before I can let you out of car, I got to go through I got to go through your backpack. >> Are you okay? >> No. >> What do you want me to do? >> No. Hey, come on. Come over here. The other car. >> Where are you hurting less? I'm going to help stand you up. Okay. >> I can't breathe. >> All right. Let me know. >> I'm going to help you stand. I can't get myself. >> All right. Ready? >> Yeah. >> Let's go. >> All right, bro. We're going to ride right in the back of my car. >> I can't breathe. >> It's all good, man. >> Good drinks. I can't. >> Uh, we'll get I'll get some water when we get >> thirsty, dude. >> All right, man. >> All right. Listen, I know you've been a bad dude. You've been a bad boy lately, right? But I'm I'm going to let you I'm going to let you say goodbye to your girl, okay? >> Oh, [ __ ] Thanks. All right. Oh, now you're >> Can you stand up for me real quick? >> I can I scared? >> Yeah. Let me Yeah. Can you stand up for me real quick, bro? >> And turn the wall. Let me just get your wallet and stuff. Okay. about my shoe. >> Oh, no. Not yet. Not yet. >> I got on him. >> Drink him, >> man. Die, man. >> Oh, please give me like a cup of water to help. I'll get you. >> I ain't going to forget about you. >> Uh, right now we're headed to back up another officer. He's in a pursuit with our robbery suspect. It's our robbery suspect from earlier and he just robbed another business [Music] on 520. >> Taking a left on the down [Music] in the woods. >> He's in the woods. We're right on foot. We're in a parking stre with him. >> All right. So, uh, he took off on foot, um, which was expected. He's running through, uh, the Civic Center right now. So, there's they're a foot chase with him right now. We're about to go hopefully intercept them. [Music] >> Okay, sounds like they got him. [Music] I have no idea where they are. So, it sounds like they got him in custody after a short foot chase ensued. So, last night um he broke into one of our businesses at about 4 in the morning. Uh he stole cash registers. Um, he also hit up a business in Aniston at midnight prior, which we didn't have knowledge of at the time. Um, and then today he just broke into yet another gas station closed business. Uh, he did do by way of force he threw rocks through uh the windows. He's got a pretty pretty lengthy history of burglaries. My car is smoking. That's what I told him. I was like, he's going to come back. >> There's a bridge. There's a bridge. There's a bridge right here. No, you can put them in there. My car is just smoking, so it was a little hot. >> Hey, do you want to put them in my car? I got an actual cage on my >> windows. Now I'm in the window. >> I got your wallet. >> Some air condition. >> You need some water? >> Somebody give me some water. >> I don't have any cars up there. >> I'm going to get you some water. >> Hey JTK, you got some water? >> All mine's in my truck. >> I don't have any water. All right, I'm going to shut this door. I'm going to get you some water. So he led us on a chase. Uh came down 78, pretty high rate of speed, went up Jimmy Henton. Um he hit the interstate. Uh took off for a while, slowed down. Uh he went down through a field directly off the side of the interstate. Uh foot chase ensued. Um I guess county was on the pursuit with us. Uh which I did not know at the time, but uh I'm glad they were. Um they got behind him, started chasing him, tased him, and uh we got him in custody safe and sound. Everybody's okay, and that's the important thing. >> Hey, look, man. You're going to let our medics check you out. We're not going to cause them any issues. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. All right. You just stand right there, bud. What do you need? Where'd you get tased at, man? Where'd you get hit? >> Back. >> In your back. I would assume they already pulled him out. I don't see him. He's got a little scrape on his arm right there. If y'all just want to use some water, >> check his vitals and stuff. >> Very dehydrated for one. >> For sure. Just make sure one >> you know where the other one hit you at. It >> was both in the back. >> On your upper back? Let's see. I don't either. Might be on his shoulders. >> All right, stand up straight for me. We're going to take your blood pressure and check your heart rate. Okay, turn around. between >> going to be east of west of Pacific channel on 20 eastbound. Well, it did just take off running. Do you think it's got anything to do with that? >> It's 160. >> That's That's pushing as far as as far as between normal and >> I got you. Let me get Let me call my sergeant real quick. >> Recommendation. paint. >> Hey, there's >> We can sit here and monitor him for a few minutes, but >> as his heart rate sits right now, it's too high for us to really leave him and >> Okay. >> He's safe. So, >> so there's they're saying his heart rate is extremely high. Um, they said it's at the point right now where it's not safe. We're gonna follow you guys. Uh, if y'all want to, uh, >> we can walk him over there. Yeah, >> bud. >> Might be easier for us to keep them on the monitor just to roll over here. >> That's fine. It's up to you. It's your show. >> We'll do that. >> Hey, bud. You're not going to be in any trouble for anything, right? But have you used anything? >> No. >> Nothing at all. Nothing that would maybe interfere with your heart rate. >> I mean, I know that, but you know, I got to I got to ask questions. >> I'm very tired and dehydrated. I promise you. >> Well, I mean, it's like >> I'm going to really pass out. I happen to need some water. >> It's like 95% humidity and you're out here running. I mean, >> I'm very dehydrated. I need some water. >> Well, none of us have any water, unfortunately. We did ask. I don't care. >> We're about to.
