Are you good doing field sobriety tests? No, I don't want to do any sorbet test. Just had a package. The whole I got to I got to run another call. You have a good night. Really, man? Can I get those biscuits? No, they're not going to see [Music] [Music] It is, huh? It's getting tough. No lights on, nothing. So, stopping this vehicle here. Um, I had it stopped the other day. Gave him a warning. Told him uh if I saw it back on the road, it would be towed. Um, he's got no lights or nothing on it. It should it should not be on the roadway. So, I'm going to go make contact with him real quick. I'll be west and second on 980 Tom 76 white Dodge pickup. Really, man? No, I got them. I had them before. I swear to God. What's that? I swear to God the lights were working. I just got them all wet. Soaking wet. They're not working right now. I just got them soaking wet. That's why I'm hauling try to get home. Who's that? Crystal. Oh, Crystal. Yeah. I'm going to the church to drop five B get these off and I had to st them cuz they just got wet soaking wet from the damn hose. What hose? The hose. I just filled up all this. Remember what I told you last time? Yeah, I know. You gave me two weeks, huh? You gave me two weeks. I didn't give you two weeks. Oh, Cunningham. Cunningham gave you two weeks. Yeah. All right. What? This truck's coming off the road. You got your registration for it? She did. Got it all. She's got everything. You got the entrance. She's got it all. She was got that new truck. That big one. Ma'am, you got ID on you? No. Here. I'm going to come around and get your info then. All right. Can I get your last name? What's that? Did the DMV catch on fire? Yeah. Last name's low. L O W E. Okay. First name is it with a K or C? C. Just C R I S T I N E. Yeah. So I was thinking that there wasn't insurance or registration on the vehicle. There is. Um so it's just a lighting issue that we're having right now. So he's definitely getting a citation this time. Um, I'm unable to tow it at this point, but he should not have it on the roadway. Um, so I am going to sight him and tell him that I do that the vehicle should not be on the roadway. He's saying he fixed the lights and that they got wet, but of of course I pull them over. They're they're not working and they need to be working if he's on the roadway. So the first of John is negative one for the validy Charles the restrictions of corrective lenses and the first of Christy and everything negative no match copy. So I'm not getting a match on the passenger. Uh so I'm going to go see if I can get some updated info on her. Hey Christine. Crystal. Crystal. C R Y S TL. Oh I thought you said Christine. All right. And then low L O W. And then did you have a name? No. No. DL. Did you have a license out of Nevada, Colorado, anything? In California. California. Okay, perfect. Awesome. Thank you. 25. Yeah. So, I stopped him last week and I was like, I do not want to see this on. It's going to be first a crystal common and should have a ID out of California. So, he's saying he just got it wet and that's why they're not working. But I was if I could tow it, I'd probably tow it. But he has insurance registration, driver's license, so I'm going to for sure sight him for the lights. Go from there. Yeah. No, the other day it was pitch dark and he was out driving around with uh without the lights on and I'm like so I gave him a warning then. All right, John. What's that? I said it's my responsibility but can I show you something? Yeah. So, see that on the battery? I had to bypass the headlights. Look at the dash. That's for sure. So, the lights were on. I spent three hours today doing it. Okay. Well, like I said, you know the deal. To be on the roadway, you got to have working lights, tail lamps. So, what I decided to do for was for the stop lights, turn signals, and other devices required. Okay. So, everything's on a ticket. Um, this is a civil citation. It's not like if it if you you know, it goes to your So, code for All right. So, there's no court date. It's up to you to take care of it. All right. You can call call this number or the email it or go down to yourself. Okay. But all information's on the citation. All right. All right, man. So I if I were you, I'd just stay off the roads tonight. I know sometimes fixed. That's why I don't understand. Okay. 09 one stop. SH pulling in a green belly. Negative registration on a green Chevy. What's going on, [Music] man? Oh, okay. For sure. Uh, new to you truck, I'm assuming, right? Yeah. I went to the place today. Okay. Is everything still valid with the 30-day? Yeah. Okay. Yeah, you got that real quick. When'd you get it? Order offline.com? No, like when did you get the uh truck? I know like two weeks ago, but I got the title last week. Okay. You have your insurance. The paper airplane. All right. Pull over like a pull. Yeah. It's all right. Long as everything's valid, it's easy. Yeah. Uh it's actually uh they're US cops. So yeah, on YouTube. So they do uh actually can I borrow that real quick one more time? Um yeah, US Cops on YouTube. Um and then they they show a lot more than YSPD cuz they follow us and they show like like all all of our calls pretty much. Oh yeah, they got a lot of episodes. Yeah, go check them out. I'm going go just check the temp tag real quick. Yeah. Yep. That's That's new to me, too. So, and they didn't send you anything else like the actual one. They might send you that in the mail, I guess. plates on by Friday. So, okay, that works. All right, let me just log your information and I'll be right back. All right, instructor pulled out in front of us. They don't have plates. He had a paper in the window. I couldn't tell if it was a temp tag or not, but it's like the emailed version of a temporary permit. So, it's still appears that it's valid in from the uh DMV. So, we're just going to check his license. He has active insurance card for the vehicle. So, as long as his license is good, then we're just going to give him a a warning. Nothing really to sight him for. All right, bro. I appreciate your time. You're all good to go, man. Have a good one. Oh, all right. Well, everything is valid. Um, valid temp tag, valid insurance, valid license. So, nothing really sign him for. He's getting plates on it. So, nothing but a warning. Okay. 23 traffic 23. I'll be prompt valley and carberry recording. Stand by for play. It's going to be a silver Chevy Suburban 25. This going to be Nevada William Ocean King 2 atom x-ray. Hello. Hello. Where'd you get me at? What's that? Where did you get me at? So the speed I didn't even clock yet, but I saw you were hauling. It was the the no turn signals on coming on the game bird and I didn't use my No, that that's unusual for me. So uh insurance uh insurance registration and then your license if you got I'm really surprised I wasn't using I am in a hurry. Yeah, which I guess it doesn't work now though. Yeah. What you Where are you heading home or? Uh, no. I'm headed to to to meet a a uh a couple that I haven't seen in a real long time. Hey, Tiger. So, I haven't gotten into this thing in months. Tiger, shut up. It's okay. [Music] Down, Tiger. So, how are you? Good. Not too bad. and stuff. Can't complain. Yeah. I I just uh I just bought this uh when my parent when my my wife and my parents died. Uh and the 3 days after I got it Yeah. guy pulling through uh Bank of America in a Peterbuilt clipped me and my son. Oh, really? Yeah. And I lost my satchel. I was looking for my lowest photo last Sunday. Nobody's used anything. All right. You're looking for just your license. I can get the insurance information off uh off your plate. Got my anchor. There you go. That's a lot of keys. Yacht. It's not a It's not a car and it's not a truck. It's a yacht. Yeah. It's a landing. Lot lots of room. Yeah. Old people lie. I said I would never buy a new vehicle. You got to spoil yourself every once in a while, huh? Well, you know, um I don't like computers. Yeah. I'm not computer friendly. And out at the mines, if uh if uh something happens, we're 50 miles in the middle of freaking nowhere. Yep. You know, and that means you you got to light your car on fire. Yeah. Yeah. To get out of there. that or uh start walking and in the summer you can't do that either. You're kind of a weird guy. Uh I was going to Can I get it? I got to get out to look over there cuz I think it's That's fine. You still at Are you at the Janet or you at the Amarillo? I'm at Amarillo. Amarillo. Okay, perfect. I'm I'm in the process of taking care of both of them right now. Okay. All right. You're staying at the Yeah. My Yeah. My son My son's in jail right now, is he? Yeah. He's He's uh He's disabled mental. He's like 9 years old in his head. He He lives from second to second instead of week to week. Uhhuh. And uh his uh therapist took him off of his riddle. And And this guy named named uh Zack Jill's meth to him. Okay. And he had him he gave him a bunch of meth and then all of a sudden the the police come in and next thing I know there's like 18 g of meth and all kinds of stuff coming out of his room. Oh [ __ ] No, it was a nightmare because uh I don't see how [Music] uh he would have the wherewithal to do that except for the fact that he said that he just had a package and sold the whole I got to I got to run another call. You have a good night. You normally work on this end, do you? You work together. Work all over. Oh, okay. All right. I'll let you just make sure you're using your signal. Yeah, I'll uh make sure. All right. Thank you. 13. There's no sticker on that plate. What's the return for it? Hello. Hey, how's it going? Good. Hey, two reasons I stopped you. headlight. And then there's no sticker on the plate. Oh, I'm waiting for the sticker. Oh, okay. Here, I'll show you. Oh, my phone's dead. But if you run the plate, I'm waiting for the sticker right now. Okay. So, I do have insurance. It's on your side. Hey, Marcos, do me a favor. Step out. Hey. Hey. Hey, man. That's my alcohol in the vehicle. You been? Um, no. I have not been drinking. Okay. All right. Cool. If I ask you a few questions. Where you guys coming from? Uh, we actually come from the store. Uh, we were trying to get home. Okay. That's it. All right. I'm just trying to get home, bro. I'm sorry. All right. Are you good doing field sobriety tests? No, I don't want to do any sobriety test. Okay. Well, I also have a breathalyzer you can use. You want to do that? Okay. It's hanging out right here for me. So, I pulled up. They had uh no sticker on the plate. Go ahead. And a headlight out. pulled into this residence real quick and then I smell alcohol in the vehicle. He doesn't want to do field sobriety tests. I know he's heavy drinker. I've come across him drunk more than once. So, he's willing to do the breathalyzer. So, we'll see where he's at and help if I can get a straw. All right, I'm back. I have to take that. State law requires upon request of a peace officer, you shall submit to a breath test. I don't want to. I don't want to. Look, so I have to go on my observations, right? Yep. You can. And I'm not doing any of that. I haven't done anything wrong. We got the license. We have everything. Insurance and everything. Yes, I do. Everything. All right, stop going into the car. What is he looking for? The registration. I don't have the registration cuz What was the license status on? Marcos, my phone's dead. But if he runs the place, it's registration's been paid for. Copy. What is it suspended for? Run the plates. It's been paid for. Okay. Right now, I can't get my phone today. All right, Marcus, come over to my car for me. All right, man. I can smell the alcohol on your breath. Don't There ain't no breath alcohol. Okay, don't screw me over on this. You have a suspended license for DUI. It has nothing to do with this car. Okay. You're still driving it? Yeah, but I'm okay. She can tell you. She walks out the car and she can tell you. All right. It's very simple. All I'm asking is you either do field sobriety test or you give me a quick breath sample and if you're, as you say, if you're fine, it'll take two seconds of your time. I move on. Okay. Are you willing to do it? [Applause] Whose house is Whose house is this? We were pulling up to a friend's house. What's your friend's name? I don't know. You can ask her. She told me to pull over here. Talk to her. I'm more concerned about you. I don't like the fact that you're trying to divert my attention to her. Well, I'm telling you, man. Like, she's the one. The one for what? She's the one that told me to pull over here. She's the one that told me to pull over here, sir. I have done nothing wrong. I put my lighters. I put everything away. I'm trying to determine if you're impaired or not. Okay. Because I smell the strengths of alcohol. I have to go based on what I see. And you're not helping yourself in any way. You're not helping me help you. You can talk to Laura. Laura, I'm not talking. I'm talking directly to you. I'm telling you, Laura told me to pull the car over over here. Okay. We're on the whole drinking and driving subject. Okay. All right. Laura, come here. So, it's pretty simple, ma'am. I ain't taking no breathalyzer or none of that stuff cuz I haven't done nothing wrong. And my rights are right. If you feel like you need to talk to her, you need to talk to her. No, I feel like I need to talk to you. Just be real with me. This goes so much How many times have we interacted? Many times, but I'm not I don't know. It goes so much easier with me when you're just honest and real, right? Yep. Okay. So, how much have you had to drink tonight? None. Okay. So, where's the alcohol smell coming from? Well, check on her. Check on her. All right. All right. How much have you had to drink tonight? Nothing. Okay. Are you good doing a breathalyzer test? I will not take one. Okay. All right. Go and do me a favor. Put the cigarette out for me. Go ahead and stand back a few feet for me. I will. At the right hand. Place your hands behind your back for me. All right, I'm placing you under arrest. Go ahead and go back to my car for me. All right. Here. Thank you. All right. Cuz I'm smelling alcohol coming from the vehicle. It's got to be coming from somewhere. It's not me. All right. All right. Are you willing to do a breathalyzer? Because No. Okay. Do you have a valid license? Yes, I do. Okay. I was in the passenger. All right. You literally live right down there. Okay. So, I've interacted with you on other occasions and you're usually a little bit more alert. Like, I don't buy it that you haven't had anything to drink. I had a one drink. Okay. So, the truth comes out. Yeah. All right. Can I at least Can I at least get you to do the breathalyzer? Determine that you're safe to drive the vehicle off. Nope, I will not. Okay. I can't let you drive on the passenger side. Well, I can't let you drive the vehicle off. You have somebody come pick it up? Yep. All right. You want to make that phone call? Yep. All right, let's do that. All right. Can I charge my phone? You can. Thank you. All [Applause] right, go a and have a seat. Are you willing to submit to a blood test to prove me otherwise? Okay, so you're willing to do that? You're not going to just get down to the jail and change your mind cuz that's usually what happens. I mean, I just be real and then that just wastes everybody time. Judge get pissed off. I get pissed off. Are you good doing a blood test, man? Okay. All right. So, as I'm sitting here filling out everything cuz I'm resting him on the suspended because I know he's been driving. I've heard multiple times. Now, I've c caught him doing it. Um I smell the alcohol. He doesn't want to do any of the tests, none of the field sobriety, no PBT. As I'm sitting there filling everything out, he's at the front of my car doing this number. And now that he's in my car, the smell is just overwhelming. Um, he's a heavy alcoholic, so he's not going to exhibit signs like a normal person would over the limit. Every time I've dealt with him, he is piss drunk, for lack of better words. Um, I can tell sitting here talking to him now that I've got him in a controlled environment and he's not smoking a cigarette running around. He's absolutely under the influence. Um, he does not want to do the blood draw. So, I'll be applying for a warrant. If that gets granted, we'll be taking his blood from him. Um, I'm pretty sure he has DUI history as well, but uh, he already has a suspended license, so his refusal is going to add another year onto that form. And now we're waiting on somebody to come pick up the car because she's lying to me, too. I can smell it on her and I'm well aware that she's been drinking. Then finally, she comes clean, says, "Oh, yeah. I've had wine." Like it it's just easier to be honest. Like I can work with you. But unfortunately, we're doing things the hard way tonight. All right. Do me a favor. Take your belt off. Dang. So, you just kick him towards me. be back shortly. So, our driver, we ended up arresting him on his suspended license for multiple violations of it. And I smelled alcohol on him when I first got to the vehicle, but he was not compliant in any way. Um, he's also a regular drinker and he doesn't distribute the same signs as everybody else would where you're wobbling, stumbling over yourself, but he's making small deliberate steps. He had the blank stare. Um, once I got him in the back of the car, the stench just overflowed with alcohol, and that way I could tell that it wasn't just coming from somewhere in the vehicle. Um, ended up getting a blood draw at the hospital. He admitted, he's like, "Yeah, I'm drunk, man." and he's like, "How long is it going to be to sober up till I can bail out?" So, he ended up actually being really cool at the end despite being very non-compliant at the beginning. And we actually chuckled about some stories and he was asking me about police work and what it's like and he ended up being cool. So it ended up being a good resolution, but he was definitely [Music] [Music] [Music]
