that there's no exren emergency or anything like that right now our dispatch is trying to call the number back but they keep getting a voicemail and no one's answering the phone so we're going to go there and uh check to make sure everyone's all right so the good thing today we uh received our aeds which is automated external defibrillator what that is is if someone's in Cardiac Arrest we're able to go to our patrol cars get the AED attach it to them and while doing compressions we can actually shock their heart back into a normal Rhythm to where it potentially could save their life because uh without the AED the chances of them surviving cardiac arrest are very slim and every minute that you don't have an AED attached so for every minute you lose about 10% of your chance of coming back so within 10 minutes you could ultimately be just pronounced to cease so it's good to see that we have the aeds now so that way when we get to the scenes first before medical gets there we're able to at least try to get them a better chance to be able to have a chance at living there we go how you doing hello Deputy Wills night County Sheriff's Office for you uh I got a 911 disconnect from this just right now I'm just documenting that we had a force entry so I'm taking photos of the uh damage so that way we can fill out a uh a damage report showing that we kicked in the door and this is the one at the residence hey buddy did you trigger the alarm so right now appears there's a a golden retriever at the front door that's where the alarm came from so dog doesn't look to be in distress or anything like that um we're just going to go ahead and check around the property make sure everything's all right but we just saw the little doggy in there and basically he might have possibly triggered it just accidentally doesn't appear to be any signs of force entry or anything like that so we're just going to knock on the front door see if anyone's at the residence so it doesn't appear that anyone's home so I'll try to call the key holder and see if um if there's anyone that um I can get in contact with but right now appears that the property is uh no Force signed the force entry this is where the alarm came from they have their dog right here so possibly he might have triggered it just from hitting the door or something like that dog doesn't appear to be in distress as well so I attempted to contact the key holder but there was no answer um yeah the number that was provided uh is out of service so it doesn't appear that there's any damage to the property it doesn't appear that there's anything suspicious any signs of forc Entry or anything like that so uh we're just going to chalk this one up to a false alarm all right so right now we are going to a unconscious so we're just going to um head over to that right now it just says detail state that a 73-year-old male friend went over to go check on him think he's not breathing breathing or possibly deceased so have as of right now we have identified the decedent and um we have not notified his family yet but we will notify them or we will have another agency in Michigan notify them because that's where the form the funeral home usually gives to the family after they've died after they died so why do he got it now I don't know he's apparently he knew he's sick yeah I don't know he's coughing out blood and all sorts of stuff but yeah interesting that's why it says death certificate info important information inde I didn't even look to do that now I know 24 can you run a plate copy thank you PA will the door and then I don't know if you want to add registration that's what miscellaneous paperwork oh that works too I'll just put Miss paper death and vehicle rge all right so right now uh we're pretty much done here the mortuary has came and uh collected the deant so they're going to take him to Las Vegas to the Clark County Corner's office where they're going to do their whole uh autopsy and everything to find the uh cause of death for him uh the pa uh public administrator is now leaving what they do is they pretty much um they'll go to the property if there's no actual next of kin available to come to the property and take possession of stuff they'll put a seal on the property and then they'll hold on to it until they get in contact with the next of Ken and right now what we're going to do we're going to finish up our report our paperwork and then we're going to send everything off all of our photos and everything to the Clark County corner office here in uh Clark County so that way they have it and then they can um go from there so that last call we just had was a dead body call and typically your dead body call can last anywhere between 2 hours 2 and 1 half hours it just ultimately depends on how long uh it takes for all your resources as far as like the mortuary to get there to be able to collect the uh decedent or whether you're waiting for detective So It ultimately just depends on each circumstance that call itself probably took us about 2 2 and 1/2 hours because the fact that uh we had earlier uh dead bodies so the mortuary was driving from Vegas all the way back here which is about an hour hour and a half drive for them and so at the time when we called for them they were already heading towards Vegas so they had to come all the way back here and they got here so now the most important thing is obviously trying to eat when you can so we ordered us some food just so that way we can try to eat something because we made may end up going to another call so there may be times where we may miss lunch we may just have to grab something on the go and keep eating and keep working so just part of uh law enforcement the career we chose [Music]
