Division um and I'm assigned with a narcotic certified K9 um who I've been paired with for approximately a year um I got into law enforcement really young in my uh in the beginning stages I was a Explorer for this agency I was 13 years from the age of 13 to 18 years old I was an Explorer basically just riding along with the agency and and learning the jobs and roles of a of a police officer and then transition later on when I became 21 um to becoming a full-time patrol officer here for night County been here ever since I'm a active field training officer um so one of my biggest roles is is teaching the new guys and and mentoring the new guys in their uh early stages of their career so right now we're on our way to an alarm at a residence um looks like it's a interior motion detector detecting motion inside of a house um looks like they got no contact with the property owner so we're going to swing by and make sure everything's okay and secure and uh make sure no no uh nothing's while they're moving through the house um but everything seems okay there's nobody else inside just her the dog and the cat and the child so we'll be uh we'll be done and moving on to the next one what's WR yeah so we observed this uh Ford Expedition up here pulling into the gas station uh ran this plate Insurance coming back expired registration is coming back expired no license plate lights that the driver of the vehicle had a warrant for his arrest he failed to show up to drug court and take the drug test so there was other licensed drivers in the vehicle and the vehicle did have uh valid insurance according to my partner um so we let the vehicle take off with a license driver because it did have valid insurance and we let them off of the warning about the registration um so that's what we're doing tonight it was just transporting him over to the jail and wrapping this thing up so we just pulled up into the Detention Center here we're going to go ahead and put them into the booking room while we do all of our uh booking on the warrant and stuff it's pretty quick pretty easy after we put him in that room detention is gonna find a cell for him and house him until he can see a judge in the morning and that's it well doesn't seem too happy to be in there but I don't blame them I don't think anybody would be happy to be in [Music] there [Music] n
