I'm gonna get high standing near that. Ma'am, come here. [Music] 39 Highway 78 Stewart Street on a maroon in color expedition Alabama 1028 111 Alpha Bravo Bravo Charlie 3. He send me 1048. We'll be occupying multiple times. So just be be cautious. What's going on, man? Tell me about it. What's going on with you? Nothing much, brother. How you doing? It's good to see you. You, too. Swerve right over that white line, man. Yes, sir. Got your license, prove insurance. I probably 26. So yeah, go ahead. Not every time one pull up. Y'all got Well, see, so the thing is we have enough people to do that. Our agency, we have enough people like there's some agencies around here, they don't have enough people to to have backup today. We have uh you got those two for what? Because that tag on the back, they told me from the Garner because even though it's registered to my Jeep, Grand Cherokee, it's still on the wrong vehicle. Okay. So, it's a swap tag. I got you. And then the other one was uh my license. It expired on the What? The 16th. Can I see those two tickets? Those two right there. You just got them today. Mhm. You got them. You got them from us. And he told me, he said, "Rob," he said, "You're gonna get pulled over all the time." He said, "But go ahead and take that tag off." He said, "Because he said, your bill of sale will act like a tag for 20 days." Okay. And I said, "I just didn't take tag off." But went out on the 60th. I just got to go get it. Y'all just heading back home? Yeah. Right here. We just stopped at the store. Went ahead and grabbed some black juice and Hello Candy. Got you, man. Well, I'm just going to cut you loose with a warning. I ain't going to write you no more tickets. Okay. Okay. All right. Yall have a good night. Thank y'all. Y'all have a good night. Okay. I'll give you some notes. Yeah. Basically got behind the vehicle. Uh ended up had a switch tag. He ran off the roadway to the right a little bit. Um he was coming from the Chevron 21 South or coming from Chevron 21 north. He was traveling south on 21, turned right onto 78 going west and turned right back up Stewart Street going back towards the Chevron back where they came from. his uh his pattern of travel travel didn't really make it any sense and uh due to him running off the roadway, it seemed like he was maybe checking his rear views too much and kind of trying to avoid me. So, we made contact with him. He had been pulled over early in the day for expired license and swap tag. So, we're not going to bother him too much. Just cut him loose with a warrant. So, um being dispatched to a local business reference possible disturbance um with a suspect that is either in a white Toyota or a white Lexus holding up a drive-thru line 756 1081. Do we have suspect description? female fight Toyota Lexus. No further details available. Well, I know they're saying a white Toyota or white Lexus, but we got two white Nissan literally right here. One of them sitting in the parking lot and the other one is just pulled out of the parking lot. Well, that's definitely not a white female driving that one. So, we'll throw that out. Um, and I can't tell if that's me. 1046 1028. Negative 104 1138 the area. So, the suspect is in a white Lexus and the address actually comes back to a street not too far down the road from here. So, we're going to head that way and see if maybe we see her. Other than that, I don't know what she was doing besides holding up the drive-thru line and causing a disturbance, but we'll just see if she can't make contact. Jesus. Hi. Hey. Uh, she already left right before we got here. Unknown direction of travel. Well, but there there really there really hasn't been a crime committed. It's just been an argument. Um, they're wanting to try and get her trespass from the property cuz every time she comes up here, she argues. Uh, but that tag that I run, that'll be the vehicle you're looking for. Okay. Well, I'm thinking cuz you know Edmonson's literally right over here on the other side of uh code 53. So, I was going to head back over this way and see if we can make contact with her. Okay. Looks like that door's open. Hello. Yes, sir. Yes, ma'am. Can I have a step out for a second? Mhm. All right. Um, so we got a call up to McDonald's. What was going on? I got nothing going on. Okay. They said you were stopped. You got a camera. He's doing a documentary on us. That's That's against my right. It It's not. He's legally allowed. Ma'am, come here. That's against my right. Ma'am, come here. Ma'am, come here. Ma'am. Ma'am, step out of the house, please. Miss Melissa, step out of the house before we get a warrant. You don't have to do that. I can get a warrant for interfering? Yes, ma'am. because I am trying to talk to you about an actual police matter because they are going to trespass you from McDonald's and you are refusing to come outside and talk to me. Miss Melissa, thanks Eric. She's mad at you. I'm just kidding. Miss Melissa, can you please step out for me? He's uh he he he's off the property. Um yeah, he he's left the property. He's standing by Quinn Tahoe, which is parked in the roadway. Hey, Miss Melissa, we're fixing to leave. I just want to let you know if you show back up at McDonald's, you will be arrested for trespass. So, you are no longer allowed to be at McDonald's in uh Oxford. Thank you, ma'am. Have a great day. You You did hear me, right? You don't know my sign. I tried to get it. You just wouldn't give it to me. We're trying to talk with you. They are doing a documentary about us, ma'am. Ma'am, can can I point something out? Myself and Officer Quinn are both recording anytime we make contact with any person. We record every conversation. So, you know, our we we had the camera guy step off your property for your respect. My dog, you you asked us to have him step off the property, so that's what we did. What's the dog's name? Come here, puppy. Come here, boy. [Music] Listen. Listen to me. Did you understand that? Listen to me. Okay. as soon as you go tomorrow. I want his name and everything. You you you can go to the police department and talk to them. No, I'm going to my lawyer and he will handle that. I've I've already contacted him. Okay. Do you understand that you are trespassed from McDonald's? I've never been told I was banned from there. I'm telling you now. Oh, I'm not going there since you told me. Thank you. Yes, ma'am. That that's the only reason we're here. Never told me I was banned from there. Okay. This lady scratched my leg, my arm. I ordered a lady that is real. I don't know. I better not tell you that. I've never had a problem with nobody. And sometimes it happens. I go in McDonald's. This is today summertime. This is how it got started and I should have called McDonald's people on her corporate, but I'm not that kind of person. Yes, ma'am. She's highly irritable. Uh, she doesn't really want to listen to what we're telling her. I understand there is two sides to a story and we heard her out. We listened to her. Uh, I mean, her story stemmed back to last summer and um, but we let her get it out and then we tried to explain to her a business can have anybody trespassed um, and that they wanted her trespass and she wasn't quite understanding why or how they had that ability. But we tried to explain it to her multiple times. Uh, she finally said she wasn't going to go back. So, we're going to come over here and uh talk to the manager again and let them know that we did make contact with her and we'll go ahead and do a report and put a barring notice for her. So, she is no longer allowed back at McDonald's. So, when we arrived on scene at her residence, um, she didn't want to talk to us. She got upset that the cameraman was following us, even though we did advise her that they were doing a documentary on us. She ran back in the house and slammed the door. We did tell her that she was not going to be allowed back at McDonald's and went on about our business. I was looking behind the dumpster looking for boxes. Where at? Up there. 58. No, not 58. Johnson's at Johnson's. You were going through the dumpsters at Johnson's. I was looking in there see boxes in there. Is that where'd you get all this stuff from? This I buy and sell at auctions. Do you? Okay. You didn't get any of this out of dumpsters or anything? Okay. Why are y'all taking this way home? It's faster for me. Just go back up this way and go that way home. But since I was turning come this way anyway. You realize that makes no sense. If you're trying to hit 202, right? I mean, it's just a straight circle. Yeah. If you would have turned left out of Johnson's, you would hit 202 right there. I was just heading this way and didn't really think just riding towards going right back towards any more. Y'all do this every night or No, no, no. Just a one time thing. Yeah. Okay. Y'all hang tight for me. Okay. It's definitely an interesting traffic stop to say the least. Um, I was sitting at Johnson's, which is one of our local grocery stores. Uh, I had just done a business check there. Um, and I saw this vehicle, come around the back side of the building shortly after. Uh he said they were going through boxes there trying to see if there's anything of value. Um he's got a lot of groceries in the back of his car. He says he buys and sells them at auctions. Uh we stopped him for driving in the middle of the roadway. What you got? Uh I was sitting at Johnson's and they came around the backside. They said that uh they were going through boxes trying to see if there's any food back there and then they got a bunch of food in the car. They said they're going back home which is on rowing. Mhm. And I was like why'd you come this way? And they're like it's quicker for me. I was like no it's not. Like literally just hit 202 right there cuz they said they're trying to get 202. Yeah. He's a little 1096 ain't he? You mind uh pulling him out and just seeing if he'll let you pat him down? I'm just going to talk to him. He's got a female in the front, too. [Music] You just step out for a minute, buddy. You got any weapons on you? How are you, ma'am? Honey, he's poking you up. You got a weapon under stick me, hurt me, poke me. Slide your feet. Get back here. What you going to talk to? You just sit on my front bumper, bud. All right, bud. So, you said why are you taking this path? I was coming when I was coming through Walgreens up there. I just decided we just make a long strip around on the way home. I mean, no. But you said this was the faster path. I said this would have been a little faster, but that really going over that way would have been a little faster. But I was just on my way home. I ain't really got no reason why I was going this way. And you don't know anybody out here? No, nothing like that. No, I'm not trying to visit a friend, anything like that. Okay. Look, here's your IDs. All right. Um, I'm sure don't do no damn drugs or Hey, no tickets, no nothing like that, man. Um, is there anything in the car? Shouldn't be in the car, man. Bombs, grenades, anything like that? Sure, man. Her pistols in here. That's it. That's it. Okay. You don't have a problem if I check. No. Go ahead. Where's the pistol at? It probably in her purse. In her purse. Okay. Thank you, man. You got your puppy? You mind unboking your seat bel? You can take the dog with you. Well, she ain't going to run if you hold her, is she? No, but I do have I know. He told me. I appreciate it. Thank you. Just leave your purse right there. You can leave your uh wallet in there as well, man. You can leave it in there. Okay. You want to face the vehicle for me? You mind if I pat you down real quick? Anything on you? Sharp sticks. Stab tick poke me. You mind if I go in your pockets? Nothing on it. You don't mind? Okay. Nothing in your pockets at all. Where y'all headed to? 202 Rowan Street. Back home? Yes, I ma'am. Spread your feet for me. So, you guys are headed back home to Rowan Street. What were y'all doing up uh He was checking for boxes to box some of this stuff up like Just for boxes. You can face me. Just boxes for the food. Yes, ma'am. Not boxes. Trying to take anything out of the dumpsters, anything like that. Where where all did you go before this? We just went from do to dollar journal by the house, but that was it. Dollar General on 202. Okay. You mind uh standing on that bumper next to him for me, please? What in the hell is this? That is a tire repair kit. Really? That's how they look. Looks like a melted Swiss roll. All right, buddy. Um, y'all good to go. Just if y'all are going to do something, man, just call businesses before you guys go behind them. All that stuff. Just get permission from them before you go back there. It just looks a little weird being behind closed businesses. Okay. Um, but other than that, y'all good to go. Okay. All right. See you later. Take care. Whatever. All right. Uh, so that vehicle, uh, we got out, um, Sergeant Mcichael and Officer Tomlin came and backed me up. Uh, we pulled the mail out, started talking to him a little bit. Um, asked him for consent to search. He gave it. Uh, truth be told, that vehicle was a little bit too nasty for my liking. Um, a lot of ants and stuff crawling around. We're basically just looking for anything that might have been stolen since they were behind a bunch of businesses, but there wasn't anything that stuck out to us immediately. Um, so we cut them loose with a warning on everything. You hot boxing, brother? Uh, yep. I got you. Go ahead and hop out for me. Okay. All right. Gotcha. I ain't got nothing on me, brother. You smoke all of it? I mean, yeah. I ain't got nothing on me, brother. I mean, check my Yeah, don't don't reach in your pockets or anything. I'm just going to patch you down real quick for weapons. Okay. No problem. What you just Why do you come here to smoke? Do you not have a house? I mean, I do, but like, you know, just quicker, I guess. Oh, you about to go work out? Yeah. You smoke before you go work out? Yeah. I mean, you know what I'm saying? Okay. So, where do you stay at generally? Uh, Chuga. Chakaaga. Yeah. Was you just at the Motel 6? No. I've been here for like a like at least 40 minutes. I know. I've been sitting over I've been watching you for for like the past hour and 30. Were you the one that like uh followed me whenever I turned in here? Yeah, but you left from the Motel 6. I didn't I swear cuz like I came from my crib, Chuck Loka. I came from that way. Nowhere near Motel 6. I came How did you come from Chakalaka if you came down 21 South? I didn't come that way. I came through that way. If I take a left, you came from 78? Yes. I didn't take no highway. You So you came 78 down through here and then to here. Yeah, that's I mean I don't know the road names, but So you came you came from this road over here? Yes, bro. Oh, well either way I took I did not take I did not go near Mot 6. Did you come down to Grey Street past like the ship or anything? I came from my house. I have no reason to go Mot 6. Okay. There's something going on over there. Well, I mean, there's a lot of dope that goes in and out of the motel is I wasn't either. I already had everything. My crib to Okay. You ain't got You ain't got nothing on you. I promise you I've got I got bags and everything. Okay. Take them out. Put them on the hood of your car for me. Okay. My bags. Yeah. I got you. Smoke before you go work out. That is insane, brother. You said you ain't got no more weed and smoked all of it. I promise you I don't. Okay. Mind if I check real quick? Uh, I mean, is it illegal if I say no? Man, it's not illegal. I'm going to check anyways. You have to. I mean, with the odor, I can. Yeah. All right. Yeah. Just sit on your hood for me. Or not on your hood, but on the front for me. You see it rolling out of his car? Jesus Christ, dude. Bro, I'm gonna get high standing near that. I'mma open your other door real quick. Okay. All right. Cuz it's still rolling out. I ain't trying to get contact from that. We going to let this thing air out a little bit. Brother, you get a good actually get a good workout after you smoke. How? [Laughter] That's crazy. Yeah. Why didn't you smoke before you left your house? I mean, it's just more convenient, I guess, over here, you know, if I drive. Do you live with somebody or something? No, it's just Dude, I don't really know how to say it how you like to be you like to be fresh before you go in there. Yeah, I guess. Okay. Cuz I mean, honestly, right now, I could push the issue since you just smoked and take you to jail for public in talks. Like, you get what I'm saying? But I'm not I'm not going to do that. Like it's like a little dab thing gas station. Well, I was getting at be smarter because you might run into somebody that 728 actually does care about it. Especially living over there on Chocola. You'll be dealing with a lot of the county guys like speeding down my road and got me a lot and he was like, "All right, you can't do that ever." And it was the same guy over state trooper I believe. I was like, "Okay, I need to relax. So, we on our traffic stop, I watched this vehicle, red Ford Expedition, pull into the Motel 6 over here behind the racetrack. track. Uh whenever we got done with our traffic stop, I watched it pull out of the Motel 6 and then it came and immediately parked over here and Club One the gym, Club One fitness parking lot. We sat on the vehicle waiting for it to leave. Probably sat on it for an hour, hour and 15 minutes. Uh he never got out of the car, anything. So finally made a determination just to come over here, make contact with him as a suspicious person. Whenever I get up to his window, smells heavy odor. He rolls his window down, smoke comes bellowing out. Uh, he was hotboxing his car. Get him out of the car, search his vehicle. He said he had already smoked all of it. He's telling the truth. He had smoked all of it. Said he was just smoking a before he went and worked out. And apparently he gets high before he goes works out. So, end of the day, we just cut him loose, let him go do his little workout, and uh, call it a night. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music]
