So, it looks like it's going to be inside the wall. >> So, he asked for uh backup code three, which is he's got an emergency. We don't know what's going on. [Music] You're not going to see [Music] [Music] Oh, >> wow. >> Yeah, that's going to be a traffic stop all day. So, we're going to stop this vehicle. Fail to maintain lane, too slow for conditions, two signs of DUI, and then uh when they hit their brakes, the reverse lights are activating. So, there's obviously some electrical issues. So, we're going to stop them, see what's going on, make sure they're not drunk, uh make sure they're aware that their rear lights are malfunctioning severely. South 24 traffic >> 160 and 372 with Colorado Charles Lincoln zebra x-ray 27 silver Toyota Camry failure to signal right [Music] recording. Yeah. Oh, wow. >> Hello, Deputy Davis, Knight County Sheriff's Office. How you doing this evening? >> Fine. >> Okay. Um, so the reason I stopped you is we're coming down 372, you failed to maintain your lane, you crossed over that white line a few times, you're also going a little bit slow, 31 and a 35. Those can be indicators of someone driving under influence. But on top of that, um, when we went to the roundabout, I don't know if you know this, but when you hit your brakes, do you know all the lights on the rear of your vehicle light up? Your turn signals, your reverse lights, everything. >> Yeah. >> So So you knew that. You know that you got you obviously got an electrical issue or something going on. That's why I was out here to have my friend fix it for me. So, I have I I've ordered new tail lights and that's what the situation is. But I'm sorry. >> Okay. No, you're fine. Then on top of that, I know you used your turn signal to switch lanes and then when you came back to the right, you didn't signal when you when before we came on to 160. So, >> I didn't know whether that was a cop behind me and I didn't want him to see the lights go bad. >> Okay. It's okay. Do you have your license on you by chance? >> Yes, I do. >> So, is is it electrical? Is that what's going on? Okay. So, are you from Colorado? >> Well, we just moved there about a year ago. I've been uh Okay. had pro my house here in Pump for, you know, since 73. The family has a long time. So, >> so kind of here for the winter to avoid the blizzards up there for the summer. I I don't blame you one bit. Do you have a proof insurance by chance in the vehicle? >> I see you have one of our statement forms in the back seat that uh we come out and talk to you or what's going on with that? Uh yes. I I wanted to I went to about uh squatters. >> Oh, okay. >> This sheriff's department. >> Okay. Is your property in Comtock by chance? >> No. >> No. Okay. There's a property I've been dealing with over there where the resident lives in Colorado and Vegas. So, I wasn't sure. >> Well, that might be Comtock. I'm on road. Where is that at? Is that >> No, no, that's that's farther west. Yeah. >> Good. Don't worry. No, I hope that's a Let me see. >> My sister's car. Okay. >> And >> so that Yeah, that's the regge. So that's good. >> And then no, this is your insurance, too. It's the USA. >> Okay. >> So, all right. Sit tight for me, sir. Okay. Yes, sir. >> All righty. >> All right. So, he's a dual resident out of Colorado and Perump. So, that's pretty common. >> 127 2024. Insurance is good. So, he might actually have an expired. Well, this this tag is an old one. So, let's see. Kind of weird that you're go meet your friend at midnight to fix your vehicle. All right, sir. Here's your uh license back and all your documentation. Just so you know, the registration sheet you handed me, the old one is expired. I see that your tag is good in the system. You're current. Just make sure if you have to update that like or you have to update it, keep the updated registration in the vehicle. Okay. Um, beyond that, I'm not going to cite you for anything. The main thing was to make sure you weren't DUI. Um, but yeah, you got to get those lights fixed cuz as soon as you hit the brakes, I'm telling you, it's like a Christmas tree. The whole as end of your car lights up. So, um, >> we got the new tail light coming and we're going to put it in. >> Okay. So, any questions, concerns for me? >> No, nothing at all. Thank you so much for my safety. >> You have a safe uh rest of your evening and, uh, please, um, like I said, get those fixed as soon as possible. Okay. >> You do. Thank you so much. >> Have a good one. Hi, my name is Brandon Ross and I own Ross Feed and Repair here in Trump, Nevada. We heard that the guys from US Cops had some truck issues with their Ford 6.0, which we specialize in those. So, we told them come on in so we can get them figured out and take care of their truck. [Music] Right now, we're looking for a hit and run vehicle. Um, injury accident as well. The vehicles involved in the injury. >> Where was your last traffic? I'm sorry. We're looking for a white >> open alcohol container in the vehicle. >> We are looking for a white minivan. Uh the vehicle just fled from an accident. >> Come here. >> Possibly has front end damage. >> Where where were you heading? in that left lane over here. Okay. Waiting for the waiting >> where that big rig's parked right now. So, you were getting ready to turn >> and make make a left turn. Got my left turn signal on and all that. >> And I got my I I got I had my foot on the brake, right? >> Okay. >> And the next thing I know, I go to put to the forward and and this over here, but that's that's a parking brake. The parking brake. It started backing up. Like, what the hell is this thing backing up for? Talking about stupid, huh? Well, that wasn't me. I didn't have it in person. >> Yeah, but how did >> I couldn't believe. >> How did you get damage on the wheel back there? >> I don't I don't know. >> I thought the one I heard. What the heck is that? All right. So, hang tight. >> All right. So, after reviewing surveillance, we were able to see exactly what happened with the accident. Um, the white van was in the eastbound lanes to go eastbound on Winery, but he says he was trying to go northbound on 160. So, he reversed and sideswiped the other car that was in the left lane to turn northbound. So, he's going to be at fault for this. Um, we already showed our other deputy who's doing the accident report the video and right now we're just going to go over there and see exactly if they need any help or anything. >> How's your day going? >> Well, what's that? >> How's your day going? >> Not good. >> No. >> Going to a call where uh it's alleged that an individual has killed two puppies. Um, we don't have details on method or why or anything like that, but apparently he messaged a girlfriend or ex-girlfriend that two of their puppies are dead. um sent those text messages to our dispatch who verified that um she did receive them. So, we're uh about to pull up on the address. We're going to make contact with the individual. We're going to check on the welfare of the dogs and figure out what's going on. So, 24 arriving. >> Where's he at? >> South 9 secondary code three with K94. He's going to be at Happy and Wilson. Can you code for >> 24? Put me on that. >> All right. So, he asked for uh backup code three, which is he's got an emergency. We don't know what's going on. >> You got one at gun. Copy one at gunpoint. All units on station dispatches code red for one at gunpoint. All units on station dispatches code red one at gunpoint. >> The [ __ ] is he? >> Yep. Sometimes they do. >> You want her out? >> Yeah. >> Put him somewhere. >> Walk up over here. >> Oh, you should give my wife a kiss real quick. >> We'll bring her over to you. >> I'm going to bring her to you. >> We'll bring her to you. Chill, bro. >> Hey, I love you, man. >> Just walk over here and we'll bring her to you. Okay. You guys be acting like [ __ ] weird as [ __ ] man. Can't even give my damn wife a [ __ ] kiss. >> We told you Liz will bring her to you. It's going to be a lot easier than having to go through a window. >> My my left side is messed up from an accident. April, sir. >> What's your What's your name, man? >> I'm Evans, brother. >> Oh, okay. I told my name and everything, man. I >> That's fine, man. Do you have any weapons on your Okay. Face the car. I'm going to make sure you don't have any weapons. Okay. Dispatch, clear code red. All clear code red. What's your first name? Uh >> Cody. >> Cody. >> Same last name. Was it? >> Same last name. >> You know what? What I'm being detained for anything? >> So, there was an incident that occurred with your brother. Um but before you say anything, man, I want to make sure. >> Yeah. I got a lawyer already. >> Okay. Well, like I said, we're still Even if you got a lawyer, we're going to read you, Miranda. Um but I want to, like I said, I just got here, so I want to talk to Deputy Murphy, find out what's going on, then we'll go from there. Okay. >> Yeah, it was a little weeny, man. Yeah. So, it is what it is. Is that girlfriend or wife? That's my wife. That's your wife. Okay. >> All right. Can I pull my sleeve down a little bit? >> Yeah. I'll pull him down for you, bro. >> Thank you, man. >> I know it's cold. Did >> you want to respond over here? >> The other one. >> Hey, man. >> Come over here. >> They said I can give my wife a kiss real quick. >> Yeah, I know. So, we're not going anywhere. I want to put you in the car. It's too damn cold. You going to wait for me? >> Okay. We're not going anywhere yet. I just want to put you in the car cuz it's warm. Right. >> Give her a kiss, though. >> Yes. >> Oh, man. And I got medicine, too. She has it. It's in my backpack. >> Okay. What kind of What kind of medicine is it? >> I have uh AD pills. Uh Terra and Sarah. It's in It's in my bag. >> We We'll definitely make sure you get those meds if you end up going to jail. So, did you miss court or anything, man? Do you have a warrant? Is that what's going on? >> No. No, I don't have a warrant or nothing. >> Okay. Well, before we get any further, man, let me read you something. I know you know, but I'm still going to read it to you. Okay. Uh, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say may be used against you in court. You have the right to the presence of an attorney before and during any questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you free of charge before any questioning if you want. Do you understand that? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> I'm not going into specifics about the case. I don't know much about the case. Okay. >> So, as soon as I looked back and I saw you, I recognized you and you told me your name was Cody. >> Yeah. Yeah. Hang on. >> So, obviously, >> you know, I got to make sure that everybody's safe in that situation. I don't know if you have a gun on her. I don't know if you have a gun on you. So that's why >> everything went down the way it did tonight. Okay. No disrespect amongst both of us. We've both been cool with each other. >> As long as we've dealt with each other, right? >> Exactly. >> So I'm not going to start disrespecting you tonight. I'm not going to disrespect you in the future. All right, man. As long as you're cool and cooperative with me, I'm going to be cool and cooperative with you. All right. Let me go get her out and let her come talk to you. Okay. >> Yep. >> All right. I love you. >> All right. Um I'll let let you know, I guess. Call me. >> Responded to uh assist deputy Murphy on a traffic stop. He had one at gunpoint. Um, by the time he got there, our supervisor had arrived. They had him out of the vehicle. They were detaining him. Um, turns out it's a suspect we've been looking for regarding u a shooting that occurred back in October of 2024. Um, Deputy Murphy just saw him driving. Um, recognized him, did a traffic stop on the vehicle knowing he's a wanted person, and from there he was placed into custody and he'll be booked in an I County detention center for numerous charges. Um the driver is his girlfriend who was admonished about harboring. So the deputy that admonished her called him sick today and is not present. So we're probably going to have to follow up with that tomorrow. It's very likely she ends up going to jail for harboring a fugitive. Um if that deputy does confirm she was admonished about this individual and advised about the harboring statute in in the state of Nevada. All right. So we're arriving in this animal abuse call. We're going to go check the welfare of these animals and see what's going on. Sheriff's Office. >> Hey, how's it going? Deputy Davis Knight County Sheriff's Office. Are you Anthony? >> Yeah. Hey, do you mind if I come in and talk to you real quick? >> All right. >> Is there Hey, hold on a second. Is there anyone else here? >> No. >> Okay. Do you have any weapons in the residence? No. >> You have no guns? >> No. >> All right. Um, >> it's cold. >> Whoa. What happened in here, man? >> This is how my tenant left me, dude. >> Okay. Um, do you have any dogs here? >> Yeah, there's two in that back room. >> Where? All right. Are they Are they okay or what's going on? Okay. So, can you stay here with my supervisor? Which back room? Hey, Anthony, do you have any puppies here? Like small puppies? >> No, just those two. >> Okay. So, let me be honest with you. So, the reason we're here, um, how do you know Jennifer? >> She was my ex-girlfriend. >> So, did you guys recently break up? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, she gave us a call and said that, uh, you sent her a text message saying you're going to dogs. >> No, >> you you didn't send that text message cuz she sent our dispatch on something called prepared live and imaged that text message stating that um that they were going to pass peacefully. So, I didn't know if that was going to be >> call animal control and have them euthanized cuz she just abandoned them and they've been eating each other. Look at them. >> Okay. So, like I said, I see the dogs in there. They're fine. >> But obviously, she left her animals and she was >> Oh, yeah. I mean, this is pretty uh I mean, stains and it's pretty bad. >> I mean, you see the room that they're in, right? All the [ __ ] that's in there. >> She left it like that. I haven't been here. I just got back because >> she finally left. >> Okay. I appreciate it, sir. Thank you for for being cool with us. >> Yeah. >> So, were you subleasasing to her or did you own it and like she was a girlfriend moved in and then you guys broke up? >> She was my girlfriend. She moved in and she just >> Okay. She abandoned her brother with me first of all for 2 months. >> Okay. >> I was taking care of him and she refused to help cuz she did the stability checks for him. >> So she moved in here. Where were you staying at? >> This couch right here. >> Okay. All right. >> We were both sleeping on this couch right here and her brother was over there. >> Cuz I was going to say if uh she was a tenant of yours and she left it like this, I'd go after her civily. But I mean if you were here and it just slowly degraded to this over time. >> Honestly, like I said, dude, I'm over it. >> I hear you. I want this to be done, you know, but obviously >> she's not over it. So, >> okay. So, well, like I said, I'll still advise you the TPLO process. So, if you want um you can go down to the prompt justice court, file a temporary protective order. Um how long did she did she live here? >> Two months. >> Two months. And she has voluntarily left like took all of her property besides her animals. >> Officer here earlier that said >> um when he was here, she told him that she was going to leave by 6:00. She wasn't gone by 6:00. >> Okay. But anyways, >> what I would do, and I actually had a call like this earlier, I'd get her property that she left here, besides the dogs. You don't want to leave them outside. It's too cold. >> Yeah, >> put that stuff outside. Not outside your fence, just outside in the property. And when she shows up here to collect it, >> she we can do what's called a civil standby. You can call us, >> make a time. We'll show up here. She needs to be aware of that time to show up here, collect the property. She gets one time to do that. put that crap outside and after 30 days if she doesn't ever show up or have any contact with you to pick up her property, give us a call. And at that point, I think >> I'll have to do a little more research on the statutes and all that. But at that point, it becomes abandoned. You can you can toss it. Okay. >> So, we arrived to uh the residence, make contact with the individual who was allegedly murdering puppies. Um grant us consent to go into his residence, checked on the dogs. They're fine. They have food, water. Um, he calls them puppies. They're about 40 lb German Shepherds, so bigger puppies, I guess. Um, the text message he stayed the text message he sent to his now ex-girlfriend was that they were her dogs. She abandoned them and he was going to call animal control and assume that the animals would be euthanized. So, in some cases, that's true. if they're not adoptable. I did uh provide him some information, pointed them to maybe reach out to some animal rescues out here in Perump um that will adopt the dogs out and not euthanize them. Um as an animal lover myself, I'd prefer that over a dog being put down. Um but as abandoned animals, um I don't know if he'll take my advice. He's not required to by law. And if there's a lawful reason for them to be euthanized, I mean, there's there's nothing I can do about it. Um I know animal control out here is really good about trying to adopt animals out. They just don't put them down or anything like that. So um gave him that information. Animal or uh information for the animal sanctuaries and rescues out here locally and um told him if his ex-girlfriend doesn't return, doesn't want our dogs and he he says he can't afford to or have the time to take care of them and give them the attention they want, um surrendering them is going to be the best option. The test the text message he sent like I stated was that uh he assumed they would be euthanized if they were surrendered to animal control and I advised him that's not that's not the case at all. So um animals are fine. He's fine. He had no warrants. Um I'm about to call girlfriend update or ex-girlfriend update her and uh that'll be the end of that call. So it's a good ending. Dogs are fine. Everyone's fine. Um hopefully they'll get adopted out. We're going to the Department of Motor Vehicles, the DMV. Someone's calling and saying that there's some sort of pillar in the parking lot that's on fire. So, I'm assuming it's going to be next to the structure. So, we're going to we're right down the street. We're going to pull up here in a second, see exactly what they're talking about. Hi. What's up? >> Over here. >> Oh, man. I don't have my lashes on. >> I don't have my lashes on. Let's see what's on fire. >> Recording the wire in the bottom part. They push that, but I think it's traveling up. >> Oh, like electrical maybe. >> Might be. Yeah. >> Oh, I see. Oh, you can see the smoke. >> So, it looks like it's going to be inside the wall of one of the pillars by the front entrance. There's smoke showing. They use a flare to extinguish part of it. Break. It's possibly something electrical. They said they use the part of the extinguisher for that. You can see it coming out of the >> That's not good. >> Yeah. Oh, it's coming out the light now. That was loud. You can see it's coming out the uh light fixture now. >> Is this pillar and then it's starting to come out the light fixtures right here. >> Light fixtures. >> Yeah. So, they called the DMV called us because they said they had a structure fire going on. Uh, we showed up and from what we can see there's smoke coming out of the walls and it's starting to come out of the light fixtures right now. So, we're assuming it's probably something electrical. We're not sure if there's actually fire inside the wall, but the smoke is definitely getting bigger. We can start seeing we can see more of it now coming out of the wall. So, the fire department's going to have to get in there and probably either break the wall down or use their um their like they have a machine that's canteen and try to figure out where it's coming from. But, uh they got to make sure there's no flames inside. I'm not sure how deep it goes into the walls and other businesses surrounding it. So, What's wrong? Robots [Applause] again. >> Hello. I'm Pastor Daryl. How can I help you? The fire department's got a fire working. We're not sure how far deep inside it goes. It looks like it's electrical possibly. So, he wants everybody on the streets to evacuate. >> Get out of here. >> Yeah, >> we're I'm out now. >> Appreciate you. >> Leave this unlocked in and just get out so they can check everything. >> Uh maybe if it depends on how it spreads. You can leave it unlocked. It should be all right. >> Okay, good. I'm back. >> All right. Heat. Heat. ground. >> This was just the uh the dry run. So, we came to the DMV here, Department of Motor Vehicles for a uh structure fire. We showed up >> and uh it looked like there was some smoke coming out of one of the structures in front of the entrance and it was coming from the inside of the structure and it slowly was spreading up towards the roof coming out the lights and everything. So that was leading us to believe that it was possibly >> status >> an electrical fire and then it started to spread and get smoke started to get heavier. So when FD showed up, they had to make some holes get to gain entry to the roof >> gain entry to where the fire was. Um we didn't see any smoke or flames. So everything is contained inside the actual structure. They're still knocking it down, trying to make sure that there's no other areas that are on fire and then they got to do their assessment after they finish the initial fire uh fighting portion of it. So, they're going to be there for a while. So, we're clearing out. This couple is still on scene and then uh see what else we got the rest of the day. Heat. [Music] Heat.
