They assaulted me. >> All right. You're You keep getting close to me. >> The guy that did the drive by shooting on my house. >> Five or five or six shots. [music] >> [music] [music] >> You fresh to death, man. You dripped out. >> Right now, we're doing some patrol work, proactive work, uh, along the Kellogg Hotel District. Um, a lot of these are going to be our older hotels or our our cheaper hotels. Very similar to what Officer Bloss was explaining about the Broadway uh area with their hotels. These have a lot of high crime uh high drug activity. Uh there is has been some human trafficking in and out of here. Um, it makes for a lot of problems for patrol, a lot of dispatch calls to come out of here. So, it was uh it was a project that was created by uh a few lieutenants on patrol west and some sergeants. uh they decided that they wanted to have us ride down here and just devote our time to trying to stop some of these guys and let them know that, you know, we're down here and hoping that would deter some of the crime that is happening. The last couple of days, we've been working in and out of the Motel 6 here. Uh we've caught multiple people in cars backed in and parked that were appeared to be passed out, so we stopped to do welfare checks on them. Uh, one individual had warrants, a firearm. Uh, the next two that we stopped, there was paraphernalia inside the car. Uh, they said that it wasn't their vehicle. We wound up just cutting a case on that and letting them go. But we've had a lot of overdoses in this area, specifically in this lot. Uh so having someone passed out in a car, it is a good idea to stop and check on them and make sure they're not overdosing. So we mo noticed some uh pedestrians walking on the roadway here just north of one of the hotels. Uh Officer Boss observed they were walking with the flow of traffic. Uh with our city ordinance, you have to be walking opposing lanes. So we're going to stop and contact them. about 5800 West Drive. >> Hold up. Hold up. 201 the street and walking with traffic, right? >> 2011. Go ahead. >> Uh, city hall states that you must be walking against traffic so that you can see cars coming at you instead of being ran into kind of understand that. Do you guys have your driver's license or or uh IDs or anything like that with you? Any of you? What's your last name, partner? >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah, you are. >> Yeah. You're going to get a ticket for walking in the roadway. >> What's your social, Kyle? >> Uh, I don't I don't know. >> What's that? >> I don't know. >> How old are you? >> My social? >> Yeah. >> Uh, 33. >> You're 33 years old. >> And you don't know your social? I'm going to give you one chance to be honest with me, man. >> I I I don't know in my heart. >> Whenever I asked you your last name, you paused and you stuttered. I want you to be honest with me cuz I'll take you to jail if you're lying to me. >> You got a little misdemeanor warrant. I ain't worried about that. But I need you to be truthful to me with who you are. And not knowing a social as a 33y old man, that's not normal. All right. >> My first name, my first name is Nick. >> Nick, where you guys staying at? >> Motel 6. >> What's that? >> Motel 6. >> Motel 6. You need to get down there and jump in the pool, man. It's hot. >> What's that, bud? >> So, you say you mentioned you're not or not worried about a misdemeanor warrant. >> Depends on what it is. Okay. If you got some traffic something, >> I'm going to work with you. Okay. >> You know you got one. >> You think so? Is it traffic? >> What's it for? >> A paraphernalia. Did you just miss court or what? How long ago was courted? >> Two months ago. >> Two weeks. Okay. >> 104. Thank you. >> 218. Can you start one for transport? All right, buddy. Hop up. You do got a bench. Blueberry unoff. >> What? >> Blueberry, have a seat for me real quick. Austin, hop up, partner. >> You got a You got a warrant for what? >> You got a warranty? >> Yep. >> I do. >> You got a bench warrant, man. >> I didn't know. >> You're good. >> I don't have nobody bomb me out, man. >> Okay. >> You're all right. >> Please, please, please. >> I'm going to let that slide down. All right. >> I have a bench war. I'm not >> I'll tell you what it is. No, you're good. I just turn the wrists this way cuz it's more comfortable. I wasn't trying to force you or nothing. >> I didn't. >> Okay. I'm going to double lock them so that they don't tighten up on you. Okay. >> Yeah. Uh I I don't I haven't done nothing wrong. >> Okay. >> I hear you, man. We'll get it figured out. You guys don't have any warrants or anything. If you want to take off, >> uh I got to get it figured out. They just say >> you just got out of jail. All right, man. Yeah, you're good. You're good. Uh, I don't know how well you know these cats. I know he's got the backpack and all that. I'll ask him if he wants to release property to you if you're cool with that. Otherwise, we'll just take it. Hey, Austin. She's wanting to know what's up with you. You're over 18. I can't just be telling people. If you're good with me telling her, >> I would like to know what's >> Okay. I'll I'll call down there and I'll ask them what it is for specifically, but generally when they get us on the radio, they just tell us whether it's a bench warrant or not. It's a bench warrant. >> That's the thing is I don't Everyone stops us quickly. >> I hear you. What's up, man? You say the judge, you say you don't know if the judge signed off on it or not. >> Hey, >> so you have one non-bookable, what we talked about. I would just be giving you a court date and being on your way, but you also have a bench warrant. So, you've got two. I'll serve you the one with a court date when we get down there, and you're going to get booked in on the one that has the judge's signature saying I got to book you in. Make sense? Hey, it's uh 218. Hey, I ran Austin a moment ago and you advised he had a warrant, I believe. Hey, take your hand out of your pocket. Should be what? >> Take your hand out of your pocket. >> What was his war warrant for? Okay, perfect. Thank you. >> It's a petty theft bench warrant. >> Hop up for me real quick. >> They never I never made >> nothing on you that's going to poke, stab, stick me, anything like that. >> There might be. Please, before you do that, can I talk to you? Please, >> you can talk to me. That's fine. But I still got to search you. >> I wasn't How did I get to pay for it? I don't have any. >> I don't know. I can look the case up for you. Maybe they ID you through cameras cuz we do that a lot. There's video surveillance if somebody could ID you and a detective. I don't know, brother. You're asking me a lot of questions that I haven't had a chance to research anything yet. I promise I will, but that doesn't change the fact that you got a bench knife. >> You have a knife on your hip. Okay, sir. That's fine. >> Sir, please. Please. I'm just trying to get I'm not sir. I'm not going to tell you no. I got my pocket. Please be careful. >> You got a what? There's a syringe in the pocket. I was holding >> You got a syringe in the pocket? >> There's a syringe in my pocket. >> Which one? >> That pocket there. >> This one here. Thank you very much for telling me cuz I do not want stick. >> Sir, please understand. What? What the hell, man? Can you light one of those for me? >> Absolutely, man. >> Hold that. Thank you. >> There it is. Hey, quit [ __ ] farting out of me, dude. >> Really? >> No consent. Cool. >> Relax. We were at a motel that we were leaving. >> Motel that we're leaving. >> That we Okay. I had got a hold of her, but nobody was done. She's pregnant. >> Nobody's done it until I was like >> Your girl. >> Yeah, she's pregnant. And that's why we let her do it. And we agreed we're going to go rehab after she pissed. Okay. >> I don't I don't want no trouble. I just want you no consent, man. >> Hey, relax. Relax. >> Good for that. >> H >> good for that to light it. >> Yeah, he can light it. 137. >> We're going to go right over here. >> I finish this. I'll stand right here. >> Yep. That's fine. >> I'm not trying to. >> You're good. I just got to hold on to you cuz I can't have you falling down in handcuffs. You know what I mean? >> No, I won't fall off. >> Well, I know a lot of people think that. I'm not trying to get you down. >> You're good, man. You're doing a good job. I get it. >> Your ash went down my vest, man. >> Sorry. >> You're all right. Just trying to make sure I don't catch on fire. >> Take one more puff off that and I might let you get another one before we go. But I'm going to go over here. All right. >> Perfect. Thank you. >> I'll go ahead and spin it out. Step on it. All right. Have a seat right here. Give me one second. I'll be right back with you. All right. >> All right, partner. Hop up for me real fast. Nothing on you that's going to poke, stab, stick me, right? >> I can't remember. >> I'd rather you remember. I don't want to get stuck, brother. >> When we're done, >> there's a possibility that you do those. What you're telling me? >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. >> You doing all right? Uh on our first individual that I patted down or that I searched got pretty decent amount, probably about 3 g. Uh he was real concerned about going in his his backpack as well where Officer Bloss is searching. Second individual told me he thought he had a needle. It looks like he might have maybe some residue here. We'll test it whenever we get down to the county. Uh but he does have a couple warrants that he's going to be going on. He's also got a THC vape, which for us is still going to be considered illegal. Uh but we're going to wait and see what Officer Bloss has uh out of the backpack right now. But right now, those two are going. Uh the initial reason to take him into custody was just warrants on both of them. So, we'll see what he's got in the bag. Yep. Not sure what those are. Then these are the set. These are unmarked. >> Look like they might be oxy, but we'll get on full identifier and check. >> Hello. >> Hey, Mom. >> Yeah. >> I got to tell you something. You're allowed to write me off if you need to after this, but I need your help because mom, I'm in the back of a cop car and I ain't even done nothing wrong. I ain't been stopped since 2023 by I have any police contact since 2023, but they're picking me up a petty theft warrant that I didn't even know I had. I think it's from when I went to rehab >> and I would have missed court. >> Wait, I don't crap. >> I got a job like I got a job interview tomorrow and >> can I call you right back? >> That's fine. >> Oh, are you talking to somebody? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, I was on a call. >> I'm sorry, Mom. you. >> So, what's going on? >> Well, tomorrow I got a job interview and then also your new and upcoming grandbaby's mom is needing to see her kids tomorrow. >> So, basically, I'm going to take him down to Cedric County Jail. Uh, I'll find out there if he has a bond on the warrant. Uh, I told him that it potentially could be an oarable offense where he can just go out on his own reconnaissance and then promise to make a court date. Uh, most likely it'll be a bond though. He can probably use a shity uh which is a bondsman to get him out. >> Yeah. >> All right. We'll give you a call whenever we get down there. Okay. >> I love you. >> All right, guys. >> Watch your foot, bud. We're going to go down. So, we just finished up at the the jail. Uh the two in custodies we had uh initially whenever we stopped them we had uh warrants on on both of them. Uh when we performed our search incidental arrest we unc undercover uncovered narcotics uh paraphernalia. Uh I'm guessing it's probably around 3 to four grams. Uh there was some pipes for smoking. Um there was some uncontrolled pills that were still require a prescription. So they got uh in possession of uh non-narcotic drugs without a prescription. Um they also got booked in on the reason that we stopped them uh which was the pedestrian violation walking the on the wrong side of the traffic way. Uh so essentially they'll be booked in uh the way our district attorney's office does it. any dope charges, which is or the the pills, it'll have to be sent off for testing uh before they get any type of charging for that. Uh so they'll just be let out on those charges. Uh the one individual had a warrant that had a $500 cash bond, so he'll have to come up with $500 cash. The other individual had a a bond for $100 cash, which he was already making arrangements to get out as we were leaving. So, uh all in all, it was a pretty good stop. and uh that area. That's that's something that's kind of typical for us to to run into. So hopefully we'll catch something else later on. >> Right now we're sitting close on a driveby. There's about three calling parties uh reporting >> a white vehicle had or white truck had driven down one of these neighborhood streets and they heard quite a few gunshots. Uh we're waiting on uh my back and then we'll make contact and attempt to locate the scene. >> We don't. >> Hello. Did you hear all this stuff going on? >> Okay. You didn't hear any gunshots or anything? >> Yeah. I thought someone sounded like someone was knocking on side of my house. >> Oh, good grief. Okay. How many did you hear? >> Uh five or six. >> Five or six. Did you see anything or >> No, I was in I thought in the bathroom. >> Okay. Uh, somebody in the drive-thru come looking for us seen everything. >> Seen everything. Perfect. Okay, we'll go chitchat with them. And you said guy guy in the driver uh drive-thru saw everything. >> Well, a woman. >> A woman >> telling me and my son about it was a white pickup with white tape all over the windows. >> White pickup >> said you went that way and then shot west on Bailey. >> Shot on Bailey. >> Yes. Or went >> turned on Bailey. Went west. >> Okay. But somewhere on the Okay. >> Yeah. I didn't see no bullet holes in that house. >> Okay. Okay. All right. >> They were shooting in the air or shooting at something. >> Uh, we will try and figure that out. Appreciate it, John. Hey, Going. You want to double check Bailey from Ida to Washington for me. >> Yeah, potentially they could have shot on Bailey. >> I got you. >> It was We driving. seen it happen. >> It was a big white pickup truck with tape on the window >> from Lincoln. We thought they was about to pull in the liquor store and get in front of us, but they kept going. It stopped right here in between this dumpster and five or five or six or five or six shots. So, right where you're sitting is where they're shooting. So, you just drove into this dumpster and >> Okay. So, they pulled up right here. >> He was in the drivethru. >> Yeah, we was at the store. >> Okay. Could you see the driver? >> No. >> Could you see how many people were in the car? >> Uh, no. It was tin windows. >> Windows. But they had tape on the window. The back window. >> Like the the back windshield or the back. >> Was it the back window or the back passenger window? >> It was either the back >> back window or the back passenger window. >> Okay. If you can do me a favor, please, and back up and go that way. Okay, >> you're good. >> Yep. And but they was literally right here. >> Going this way because of y'all. >> No, I got you. I got you. I understand that. >> You can ask that man right there. We literally >> We don't know where it was, but we know somewhere in this vicinity. in this vicinity right now >> somewhere in this. How many shots did you >> like five or six shots? >> Okay. >> We seen him. Yeah. And we yelled for him to come over to the liquor store. >> Okay. >> We thought we was getting shot at. >> Okay. Give me one second. Hey. Hey, John. We'll take care of that. I appreciate you helping. I do. But thank you, man. >> Okay. Um >> Oh, he must have been the other person we seen with the >> I got you. Okay. >> I was like that. >> Yep. Yep. You can pull into this drive, back it up, and go that way for me. >> Thank you guys. >> Not that we know of. >> Nobody's crying and saying, "Ouch." So, >> all right. >> So, right now we're getting told that potentially the shots happen from around here south. So, I'm looking for casings, which sometimes can be very difficult. Hey, Sarge. this word. >> Uh, so white cars in the drive-thru of the liquor store, they see a white pickup truck with tape on a back window. >> Okay. >> All butt in here, and they thought they were going to scooch into the store, but instead they drive over here around this area. They hear about five or six shots, and then the truck beat pizza out of here. I think it's related to the chase that Westside picked up. It's >> a white truck, so It's Friday night. I'm going enjoy it. And then you're getting >> I didn't see anything going on like fights or yelling. >> Okay. >> And then I was right here inside of my room. This look literally how I am right here. >> And I just heard like and then I just >> like duck and you're like holy cow. >> And I didn't know if it was safe to go outside cuz you know how like sometimes >> it can get even more dangerous. >> Yeah. I know. I feel you. I got you. Well, we haven't found any uh casings. Um, pretty much consistency is about five to eight shots. Uh, we'll document it and, uh, detectives will probably follow up with some, uh, canines that are able to detect, uh, cartridge casings. They'll be able to come out and sniff for them if there's any that we actually missed. So, we'll go update supervisors on scene and probably go back in service. So, we're on route to a jumper on I35 in Harry. I don't know much details. They just put us on it right now. Looking over the edge into the canal advice. It looks like he's suspect wanted to jump. >> Okay, we finally got the right location. We're going to be operating over here on >> white with 20 pins in wearing jeans, gray t-shirt, black pajama bottoms, red brown looking over the edge into the canal. Looks like he wanted to jump. >> Okay. So, they're assuming >> going southbound far left. I'll check the canal. Heat. Heat. Uh just checked the canal. Got a bad information on where this guy was located. We're going to check the uh the next busy uh next uh [clears throat] city street up right here where officer Reer is at. >> It looks like he's crossing the lake. >> Yeah. So he just crossed the canal 135. I'm out with him. Did he cross through the water? >> I don't know if he crossed through the water or not, but when I pulled up, he was he was on this side of the he was on the west side, but he was walking up this steep side and he just hopped the ledge. Soon as I got out of the car, he threw his hands up like he was going to say something, but I couldn't hear him over the traffic. >> Right. Yeah. So, um, subject was on the west side of the canal. Uh, someone called in thinking he was going to jump in the canal. He ends up crossing the lanes of traffic and then officers make contact with him on the on the west side of I35. So, we'll go around and see what the story is. 1373 You good? >> He just didn't know he couldn't cross the highway. >> Oh. >> And didn't see the bridge >> and crossing as >> Well, I saw him in the canal as I was over crossing Harry. And then he started crossing as we came across. So, we stopped him. We're going to give him a ride to the Lord's diner. >> Cool. >> Awesome. >> No suicidal ideation. So, >> good. Thanks, buddy. All right. Well, he didn't know he could he couldn't cross the the highway, so he's just getting a ride to the Lord's diner, which is a homeless facility that feeds the homeless. So, we're going to uh threaten right now. RP stating that the granddaughter is saying she should be shot and put in the grave with Joey. RP states she is scared and they are locked in the bedroom right now. um saying negative weapons, negative intoxication. RP and husband advised they are in fear for their lives. So, they're both separated right now. We're going to see what's going on and um see if we can come to some sort of resolution with all parties involved. That's not going to work. Hey, it's Dos one. That uh what's that code again? Yeah, it's not opening the gate. Oh my goodness. Well, I'm glad this isn't a priority call, dude. Nobody's in danger. >> All right. I was about to say I'm all locked up here. >> No, it's fine. And can I talk to one of you officers again? What is this for? >> Oh, they're just filming a documentary. >> Please don't. I don't want to be on live TV. Please take me off. >> All right. >> I didn't give you rights to film. >> Are you uh Okay. my grandmother. >> Okay. >> I can you please take me off this camera? >> Yeah, they they you can talk to us. They'll be able to like bore you out and stuff like that. >> Me and my grandma, we have arguments. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, whatever. I left the house for a week. I didn't take care of my dog. I came home. I took care of my dog. My dog is okay. She has food. She has water. >> Yeah. >> I was on the phone with my friend talking about Joey Perry. Okay. >> Okay. She thought it was towards her. Me and my friend were making a joke saying that we're put So, here she comes. Her threatening I don't know if I keep it open. Hurts me. And also I >> Shar, give me one second. I'll be right with you. Okay. >> Yeah, I'm done. >> Okay, I'll be right with you. Give me one second. All right, ma'am. >> Bro, this is Why am I on live pe? I'll be able to blur you out and everything. Okay, >> I am 18. So, I I just want to know why >> you're 17, aren't you? >> No. >> Are you sure? >> Told you I was 17. >> I just thought you were 17. >> My birthday is >> Oh, okay. All right. Well, I was mistaken. All right. So, >> no. >> Go on. Um, so basically I came home, we had a little disagreement. I had said something about Joey Perry and how I was going to put put somebody in a grave. That's a joke. Okay. >> Not a Okay. Okay. So, she she thought, "Oh, yeah. That was towards her." >> You know, it wasn't towards her. >> I'm just sick and tired of her trying to kick me out. I can literally show you my paper my rent receipt. Yeah. >> Stating I pay rent here. I'm 18. I pay rent. >> I have everything documented. They gave me a receipt just because I couldn't pay $330 because my SSI hasn't went up because I have social security. She >> starting and she's been trying to get me out of her house. >> Okay. How How long have you lived here? [sighs] >> Since last month on the 21st. >> Since last month. Okay. >> And do you have an ID on you, ma'am? >> No. >> No. >> If you need to see my >> Yeah. Do you mind? I just got to log that. >> I can show you my school stuff. >> All right. I just got to log that I talked to you. >> Yeah, I get it. I'll show you. What school do you go to? I don't go to school anymore. I used to go to Miley Achievement Center, but I'm online. >> Oh, okay. >> But it's me. I look different. I have blue hair now. >> You look way different now. >> Yeah, I have blue hair and I have no tattoos. >> Oh, okay. >> So, yeah, that's me. >> All right. >> And also, I got a short wearing in my room that you guys went through my room for Carlos cell phones. >> I have none of Carlos cell phones. I don't know who Carlos is. >> So, I would like to know what the search warrant was for cuz you guys took my phones. >> Yeah. Come. Uh, while I speak with Sher. Is that grandma? >> Yeah, that's my >> Okay. If while I speak with her, if you want to go grab those. >> What? Grab my search warrant papers. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Let's go over that way. How are you? >> Not good. >> What's going on, >> Brit? This is her mother. Oh, >> okay. >> She's been threatening me ever since she walked through that door. She's been gone for six days. >> We got a search warrant served on our house the other day for her. She told me tonight you I need to hit you with the switch and bury you with Joey Perry. Okay, I'm done. H >> how long has she been here with you? >> We've been here 30 days today. >> Okay, so you guys moved in together? >> Yeah. >> Okay. And before that, did where were you guys at, if you don't mind me asking? >> Will you speak with her mother? >> Yeah. >> Here, let him go ahead Brit. That's Britney. >> Okay. Hey, Britney. It's Deputy Diesel with Night County Sheriff's Office. Oh, hey. What's up? >> I didn't know you were Na's mom. >> Surprise, surprise. >> Oh, okay. What's going on? >> Oh, that's Britney. Yeah. Britney Davenport is my >> Hold on. Let me see that and then if you just want to hang out in the house real quick >> and I'll come grab you. Okay. Yeah, that's what it sounds like. That's what I'm getting right now. Gotcha. >> Yeah. So So we we did uh run her through dispatch and she doesn't have any active warrants. It sounds like the reason that they were looking for her was to search or to serve that search warrant. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Let me uh let me speak with both of them here and see if we can come to some sort of resolution for at least for tonight. >> All right. I appreciate you, Britney. >> All right. Thank you. To answer this question, you need to speak with uh Detective Fans. >> So, but in this yellow paperwork, it just says a Samsung phone. >> Yeah, they that's what they took. >> So, it it's not his. I'm telling you know, it's not his. >> So, if it's not Yeah, that's what you got to let that's what you got to let them know, you know, because >> So, it was just for a phone. >> It was for a phone. Yeah. >> Okay. Well, I have no clue where his phone is. I don't talk to him. I don't know who he is. >> I just was up at the park when it happened. And is this is this allowed to be posted? I am in my box room. >> Bro, >> enough with the camera. Okay, we're not here for the camera. What are we going to do tonight? >> I'm going to sleep. >> Do you have anywhere to go? Like to separate for the night. >> I just got home. That's what nobody's understanding. I just got home and she came after me after I asked for the goddamn mop. >> Okay. >> I asked for the mop. And the reason I'm saying this because something's not working between you guys, right? >> No, she know. And then how do you know my mom? >> Cuz I know probably your brothers if she's your mom. >> Oh my god. >> Yeah. >> What did Rico do to you? >> But look, so there's nowhere you can stay for the night like go to friends, nothing like that because >> gone home after being gone for days. >> Please shut up. He's having a conversation with me and you have no respect >> because this is this is like I feel like we're going to continue to be out here. >> No, you won't. In my room and I'm going to sleep because it's always a situation with her when you guys come out, but it's always me getting targeted. How >> I'm not targeting anybody. I'm just saying three battery charges is because of her. >> She's had bruises and she's called the cops and said I've stayed. I've hit her. I've served time because she lied. >> So, how long has she been here? cuz she's telling me she's been here since the 21st. >> We moved in on the 21st. >> Yeah. >> She went to She was here for the nine days of June. >> She went up to the park. She was with friends before that. Went to the park on July 4th. >> That shooting happened. She came home, told us that she was a big shooting and the bullets were whizzing by her head. >> Yeah. >> Then she was gone for seven days. Came home for two and been gone for six more. >> So, she's been kind of in and out. >> Yeah. And she's got a dog that weighs 100 lbs up in her bedroom that she's not taking care of. And I can't take care of that dog. >> It sounds like this has been going on for a while, Sher. How How long has this been going on with her? >> A long time. >> A long time. >> Yep. >> You think it's probably time to kick her on out of here? >> Yes. I I would Listen, we're new to Perump. We did the prepaid power thing. Okay. Yeah. >> Our power went off Saturday and we couldn't get a hold of anybody. So, we had to go take care of the power. Tomorrow, I'm filing a restraining order. >> So, yeah, you can either do that, you can do the eviction, or you can do both. >> Okay. >> But what is tomorrow? Tuesday. So, the courthouse is open. >> Okay. >> But the thing I mean, >> we can't do this anymore. She's >> I don't I don't blame you though, you know. I don't blame you. She's kind of all over the place, right? >> Because she's doing drugs. >> Yeah. It It's >> So, now she's 18. I'm done. >> Yeah. You don't have no cuss. She's a grown woman now. >> Yep. I wonder >> as soon as as soon as you kick her out, she's >> like by herself. She has to figure it out, you know, and I think that's going to be tough for her because it I don't think she I mean, I don't think she's capable of it just the way she's acting. >> You know what? She's bipolar. She's ADHD. She's ADD. She's got an anxiety. She's got like seven things wrong. She's not on her meds. She's not taking them. Yeah. >> She keeps threatening to kill me. So, in a situation like this, I I trust me, I wish I could just trespass her from your house and tell her you're out of here for the night. Like, you're out of here until she allows you back in. But the way that the laws are written, I mean, she's already established some sort of residency here. So, I I just can't kick her out, ma'am. I I wish I could. I wish I could. >> Then she's leaving my way. >> Well, I mean, she >> You'll be back. I don't know if that's a good idea because Sher at the end of the day. I get it. But but like if you do that at the end of the day, who's the one that's going to be getting in trouble? It's going to be you. And at the end of the day, she's going to win. >> You know what? I've never been in trouble in my life. I know. So why start now? >> Deal with the cops because of that kid. >> Why start now? But you you have to >> You know what? I'm 67 years old. I've never been in trouble in my life. My husband is 71. He's never been in trouble. Do you know how much stuff we've caught with the police? >> I understand. I understand. And and it's one of those situations. You >> see my car? The guy that did the drive by shooting on my house that we left Las Vegas for. [snorts] >> He did a driveby [clears throat] on my house. Her boyfriend came. >> Who was her boyfriend? >> His name uh Ricky. >> When did this happen? >> Oh, just not too long ago. He did a driveby on our house. He did a year and a half in jail. Okay. This guy is 23 years old, hanging out at the middle school. That's how he met her at 15. After this guy served a year and a half in jail, he came back to my house again. [laughter] Again, [snorts] >> you know, you got to get her out of your life. I mean, this there's you're like you said, you're 67. You've never been in trouble in your life. And I mean, you're you're in shambles in you're in shambles in front of me, Sher. And this, you shouldn't be like this. At 67, you should be enjoying your life, retired, doing your own thing. Get the drama out of here. Kick her out of here. Um, I mean, I told her obviously that I didn't want to be back here, but if you guys have another issue with her, >> just call us back. I don't have a problem coming back here and then we'll play it on on a case by case basis. But right now, the way it stands, ma'am, I I don't have any teeth in this, you know. >> I know. We're always we're the ones with our head. So, don't tied all the time. >> Don't hesitate to call us, okay? But if hopefully, and I'm I'm rooting for you, that stuff calms down for the night, go get that eviction. >> I'm going to Yeah. All righty, Sherry. >> Drama's going to be >> sometimes that's the way you got to do it. >> Yeah. >> All righty, Sherry. Let us know if you need us, though. Okay. All right. So, we're just wrapping up that call. It sounds like they're definitely feuding pretty hard. Um, grandma doesn't want her there anymore, and I really can't blame her. Um, she did they did move in together. She has been here for an extended period of time. and they've been living together for, from what I gathered, years. So, unfortunately, you can't just kick somebody out overnight like that. You have to go through the eviction process, which really ties our hands when it comes to verbal altercations like this and parties not getting along and neither party either being able to separate or wanting to separate. So, we can't kick anybody out of their homes. Um, she is 18 now and hopefully she can be an adult for the night and just kind of simmer down and have everything relaxed. That way they don't get into any verbal altercations and just kind of chill for the night. So, um, they've been advised of the eviction process and hopefully we don't have to come back out here and stuff just kind of settles down for the night. So, right now I was dispatched to a theft call. It's an older one. Happened a couple weeks ago. Uh the person reporting stated she hired a mobile mechanic off of Facebook Marketplace. The subject went to O'Reilly Auto Parts, picked up her part, and she hasn't heard from him since. So, I'm going to attempt to track down the subject uh based off of his Facebook profile. He has a local address out here. Uh if I can get in contact with him, try to see why he hasn't followed up on fixing her car. Uh this if it is the subject in question, he does have a warrant. So, he could possibly be making a trip to jail as well tonight. Your destination is on the left. Sheriff's office. Sheriff's office. >> Sheriff's office. >> Put your pants on. >> All right. >> Get back. >> What's up, Travis? You, Travis? >> Yeah. >> Hey, why uh you're supposed to do some car work for some chick off of Facebook? >> Yeah. >> She's saying that you went and picked up the parts and she hasn't heard from you since. What's What's that chick's name? >> I don't know what her name is. >> You don't know what her name is? >> Yeah, but I got her I got the part. I just haven't had time to go do it. >> Well, has she been reaching out to you? >> I reached out to him yesterday and told him I'd be by today, but I didn't have time to do it today. >> Can I at least see the message so I can verify [snorts] verify with her son. [sighs] Message him. And this is where I talked to him yesterday. red yesterday. So, you're talking to her son? Son, >> not her? >> Yeah, it's his car. Who I'm working on? >> Okay. She How old is he? >> He's 32 33. >> Okay. All right. What's the part? >> It's a radiator. It's evaporated core. It goes inside. Go ahead. >> All right. So, it goes on the radiator. >> No, it goes in the dash just for the >> I'll drop it off to him tomorrow. He can keep it >> if he would like it. >> All right. >> What did they have to say? >> Who? >> Uh the people. >> They just said that you they hired you to do some I tried to call her. She didn't uh she didn't answer, but based off the notes, I was like, "Well, let me just go see what his side is." >> Cuz if I could come here and say, "Hey, what's the deal? Do the work." Then we can kind of alleviate doing a police report for theft. >> That was their biggest concern was that >> you up uh >> she's been trying to reach out to you and said she couldn't get hold of you, but yet the part was picked up. >> So, she's wanting to >> Yeah, the part's like I said, right there. And you seen where I talked to her son yesterday. >> How are you getting around town? >> Uh, just this and that. >> Cuz you're not supposed to be driving, right? >> Yeah, I can drive. >> Why can't I drive? >> I thought that's one of your stipulations. They just read off. >> No, it's not. It's not. I can't drive. I got a uh Intox lock in this. >> I'll have to look on the computer then. All I heard was them say that you weren't >> supposed to be driving. >> I got a val. Not that I'm doing anything cuz obviously you're not driving tonight. But >> I got a valid driver's license. I even went down the DMV and had my my license reinstated >> because I got the Intox lock and the SR22 in. >> Okay. >> So, it's probably you can't drive anyone else's car, just your own cuz you have to blow into it. All right. How are you contacting the lady or her son? >> Is it through Facebook like Messenger? >> Through talking. >> So, you have his Yeah. >> What's his phone number? >> Do you know her name? Yeah, I'll have to go look it up. Let me see. All right, give me a second. Is it a chick named Kim or something like that? Does that sound right? Let me see if she'll answer the call. I don't know if that's cuz she didn't put nothing about a uh her son. So I don't know if you had >> Please leave your message for 77. >> Uh yeah, the only notes we have is it's from a she hired you a few weeks ago. They ordered a part from O'Reilly's. You picked up the part. We're supposed to come finish the work and you haven't come back. And now you're allegedly avoiding her call. Part was picked up on July 2nd. >> July? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. That's here. You want to talk to the son? >> Yeah. >> Here you go. What's his name? Robert. >> Robert. >> Or Ron. His name's Ron. His son and dad's name is Robert. >> Hello. >> Hey, is this Robert? >> Yeah. >> Hey, it's Deputy Rou with the Knight County Sheriff's Office. I'm here talking with uh Travis. >> Okay. >> I guess uh what's your mom's name? >> Uh Kim. >> All right. Was she >> Travis just texted me right now? >> Okay. Yeah. Supposedly, your mom was trying to file a report that you guys haven't been able to get hold of him. Obviously, he's been in contacts with you. I was able to make contact with him. Uh, he showed me the part he's got. So, um, are you with your mom right now? >> Uh, I am, but she's sleeping. >> Okay. >> I just got home like two hours ago from Vegas. I just want to verify or figure out from her that you guys have all been kind of in communication because like I said, she she I don't know if she tried to file an online report or we just didn't get dispatched till later in the night cuz we were busy for dayshift. But as long as long as she's good with you guys are still good with him doing the work or whatever, I just want to make sure that if you know a police report doesn't need generated, we don't generate one. Um, >> yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, I I agree with you 100%. No. Um, >> so I I don't know if you can if you I know I know she's sleeping, but if you could wake her up just so I can talk to her, that way we can smooth this all over real quick. Put it on mute. All right. So, yeah, it's obviously him. Um, I don't know if he probably said something to mom like, "Hey, I tried to get a hold of him. Haven't heard nothing." And maybe that's why >> they set it off. Yeah, maybe that's why she's like, "Oh, he's trying to skip out." >> I mean, it is Sunday. >> I just told him I might be able to get to it today. >> Hello. >> Yeah, I'm still here. >> Yeah, she just woke up right now. I'm sorry. >> All right. >> I'm going to put her on the phone right now. >> Perfect. >> Hello, Kim. This is Deputy Roo with the NY County Sheriff's Office. Uh, you're on a recorded line on my body camera, but we're calling from Travis's cell phone, just so you're aware. All right. So, I was able to track down Travis. He does he did show me he does have the car part for the vehicle. Um, so at this time it's kind of for you guys to figure out if you still want him to do the the work or if you want him to just drop the car part off and figure some other means out. But you're on speaker phone. He's right here. So you guys can kind of figure this out real quick. He said he's been in contact with your son, but you know that's for Travis on the phone. Okay. Okay. Um, I'll go ahead and talk to him. >> All right. He You can talk. He can hear you. You're on speaker phone. >> Travis. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Uh, we want to know when you're going to come over and either get the work done or give us the part. >> I'll stop by tomorrow. Uh, how's, uh, tomorrow at 9:00? I'll stop by and talk to you guys. But either we can either we can either figure out me to do the job tomorrow or just leave the park there cuz I got in my truck. Um, son, do you want him to come over in the morning about 9:00 and either do the work or get get that or just drop the part off? >> Hey, is this trap? >> Yeah, I'm here. >> Yo. Hey. Uh, are you going to be here tomorrow? >> 9:00. I'll stop by at 9:00 and talk to you. >> I I got you. Yeah. No, I just thought you were going to be today or >> No. Well, I know that you had things to do. I was caught off guard right now, bro. So, I didn't do all that. [laughter] >> You and me both. >> So, I was like, "Oh, >> uh, I thought you were going to stop by today, but no, I get it. You ain't got nothing going on or whatever. I had I had to go on to Vegas earlier." >> Yeah. >> And then >> I came home just like I told the deputy two hours ago. >> Yeah, I know. It's all right. I'll talk to you. I'll come by tomorrow in the morning. That way, it's when it's a little cooler. >> All right. So, that's that. Um, obviously, I'm not going to hold you out here. Uh, if PMP comes back and says I they need further contact, I'll knock on your trailer door. >> So, you're good to go back inside. >> All right. >> All right, man. >> Appreciate it. >> All right. No problem. >> Have a good night. >> All right. You, too. >> All right. Right now, we're going to a disturbance call at racetrack. There's a female um with a gun. That's about all the information we got right now. >> 740. >> All right. 740. Callers in a leopard print shirt 1210 Olympic Drive Morris Family Fund Center. Caller advised there was a male outside with a 1032 unknown description. They advised they moved all women and children to the back. They're advising the male has left. Caller disconnected during transfer. >> Okay, everybody's with >> 736 1023. You want to beat everybody. I swear to God for everybody here. They just left me at this store assaulting me. All that. >> Ma'am, what's going on? >> Yes, sir. They just left me at this store assaulting me. >> All right. All right. All right. >> Then the run infinity. I'm going let you know what I'm telling them. Hey, I'mma leave your >> ma'am. >> I got them on. Hey, take a breath. All right. And just talk to me. All right. >> Yeah. >> All right. I'm this close. You want to be yelling at me. All right. >> So, what happened? >> Damn. assaulted me. >> Okay. >> PUTTING ME OUT THE CAR. WE WAS ON THE WAY TO A TRIP OFFICER. >> OKAY. >> They assaulted ME. I'm just a little sick. >> I understand. >> Okay. Boom. They left me in the car landing me. >> Stop yelling. Stop yelling. Yes, sir. >> You ain't got to yell. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> I'm right here. Who did it? Did you call them? Okay. >> Well, >> yeah. First things first be safe though. You you don't have to call them right now. All right. >> Full [ __ ] be safe though. Yeah. They said 48 uh 4862 or something. I JUST CALLED. YES, SIR. They assaulted me on the side. >> All right. You're You keep getting close to me. Stop getting close to me. >> Yes, SIR. THEY ASSAULTED ME ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. >> OKAY. Stop yelling. >> In the car. >> Hey, stop yelling. >> Okay. >> Okay. You ain't got to yell, >> sir. >> Okay. JJ says talk to me. You don't got to keep coming close to me. I can hear you just right. >> I have hypertension. Of course, I'm upset. I just got jumped. >> I understand. I can I hear >> out of the road. >> I hear what you're saying. I feel for you. I do >> in real life. >> I'm I'm here. I'm trying to help you. >> I'm really not here TO PLAY. I GOT four children. >> Okay. >> I just even left Birmingham. >> What are their names? You know their names. >> Was a white guy on a black V6 Camaro. Unknown direction. >> What were they driving? >> Infinity white truck photo. >> A a white Infinity way to Florida. >> All right. I ain't in the business of playing with nobody. >> Okay. >> Everybody going to get I'm I'm going to call them back just to let you know. >> Oh, you don't have to call him back. >> No. >> No. Oh, you ain't got my ass going to get pulled over. >> All right. Have you been drinking at all tonight, ma'am? >> Because I ain't had nothing but a mic. >> Okay, cuz I I I can smell the alcohol. All right. >> I ain't going to lie to you. I ain't had nothing but a mic from Birmingham to here. >> All right. And hey, that's okay. I just need to know what I'm dealing with. >> First of all, pay me out my money. >> Okay. >> And try to store with me. >> Okay. I hear you. >> Try to fight me. They don't want to die. female fight me when I was even in the mood to >> How many people were there? >> Four of them. >> There were four of them, >> including me. >> Okay. So, there was >> three of them in the car. >> There was three pulled off. YES. BEFORE YOU GOT HERE, >> they want to face you. >> Okay. >> I'm being real with you. >> They don't. >> Okay. You You keep stepping close to me. >> I'm sorry. Sorry. Sorry. You down by three. >> How old are you? >> I'm down. between and they're and they're older than you. >> 40 50. >> They're they're what? >> Like 40 50. >> They're 4050. Okay. So >> they a all white photo infinity. >> Okay. >> With the I just called y'all police department. >> Yes, ma'am. >> And I gave the tag number. >> Okay. Are you wanting to pursue charges or anything like that? >> They jumped on me on the side of the highway. >> I hear me. >> Where are you on your way to? And we was on our way to Fort Lauderdale Florida. All of us put in a truck together. >> Okay. Y'all y'all were going together on the intersection. >> Where's it at? In your purse. >> Yes, sir. >> You mind if somebody gets it out? I just We don't know if you have any weapons. That's all. We don't want you pulling no weapons up on >> permission. I don't I don't care if you smoke. I I hear you. I hear you. You can you >> I hear you. I hear you. >> Sit down. >> I got a couple of questions for you. I know Officer Matt's already asked, but you're You said you're not looking to pursue charges. Do you have a ride that can come get you? >> Oh, my ride on the way. Come on now. >> They were trying to fight me. They had already jumped on me on the highway. >> Mhm. Before we got here, they let they let a girl off jump on me. >> I hear you. >> I done nothing to nobody. >> We got you. But you would be you would be surprised how many people end up in a situation and then when we ask if they've got a ride, they're like, "Well, do I need one?" Well, probably if you don't want to stay down here. So, that's why I'm asking. Okay. >> And poor dog left me right here when I'm not in the I hear you. But you can't be cussing like that. All right. There's kids around. All right. >> So, >> hey, and we on our way to Fort Lauderdale. I need my lick back. I don't even care. >> I'm going tell y'all I need my dick back. I hope I push hand. My name is Chimera. >> Chimera. >> Yes, sir. >> All right. Sir, right down in the street. >> I I hear you, Camarra. Yes, sir. I hear you. >> She just jumped on me. They let her >> Can you please take a seat for me and just smoke your cigarette? Come down. You haven't even let your cigarette yet. I promise you I I ain't no sick. >> I I understand. I understand. We're just asking you to take a seat. >> I respect I respect all y'all. >> You ain't done nothing to us. But >> I respect I called y'all. >> Hey, you're up here though. And like I said, we need your damn back. I mean, >> I get it. But there's kids present and they don't need to they don't need to hear you cussing like that. >> Yes. And look, I'm not trying to take >> without respect. I won't cuss no more. >> Hold on. And like I said, >> I know how to express myself when I cuss. Let me talk. Yes, ma'am. Okay. >> I don't feel like you need to go to jail, but if you're going to keep yelling and cussing in front of women and children and all the club and you go to jail, okay? So, I'm not trying to take you. >> We want to do the best we can to avoid that. All right. Have a seat. >> I feel I feel like this is a goes without saying. Don't go on another trip with them. >> Yeah. Whatever happens in Fort Lauderdale happens in Fort Lauderdale. >> Yeah. Um, but yeah, you said your ride's coming from Birmingham. So, >> come your your ride's coming from Birmingham. >> Okay. >> Okay. Well, if do you have any other You have any questions for us? >> True. I'm not that way. I swear to God, I want to get ass real. >> Where are they from? Birmingham, too, >> y'all. They from Birmingham, but I know all they name. >> That's how we getting up here. Come down here for me. Come down. >> I know all they name. >> Come down here for me. >> I need it. Green. That the greens. >> Make the green. Okay. Well, look. Last down here for me. Okay. >> That ain't going to play. I'm going to beat the ass in Fort Lauderdale and beat the out. And I'm telling y'all ass. Ain't nobody going to put their hands on me. Hey, hey, >> hey. And I don't get no justice. >> You got to bring it back down. All right. >> She just drove me on over on my way. >> I hear you. >> Hey, come here. >> I drank a little alcohol and smoke my cigarette. No drug. >> Hey, come here. Can you do us a favor? >> Can you Can you fix your shirt for us, please? >> Can you just make sure it's covering everything? >> We go inside and use the bathroom. Can't have no I just need to pull it down and she probably broke it. Don't be real. She probably You have another shirt you can put on. >> If they come back, call us. But we can't stay out here until your friends get here. Okay. >> Like I said, the the employees have said that you can stay until your ride gets here. As long as we don't have any other calls coming out here about you, you ain't going to see us again. I won't do that. We might have one more cigarette. >> I hear you. Listen, I'll tell you what. >> We're in the area, right? So, we'll be we'll be close by. >> Get your car. >> I I don't have a car. >> Unfortunately, we don't have business cards. >> We don't have business around. I promise. >> But if you I I'll even swing by the parking lot a couple more times just to make sure you're still here. If you stay in this spot, I'll see you. All right. >> All right. And if they come back this whole and come here, hey, you listening? >> Okay. If they come back, all right, you >> going to come back? They too scared. >> I got you. But if they do, you going to call us. All right. And we'll come back and we'll handle it. All right. Yes, sir. >> All right. But are you going to be okay to stay here and wait for your for your friend to come get you? >> Yes, sir. >> All right. Are we going to have any calls about you being disorderly? >> No, sir. Don't worry, Terry. You get the toilet, will >> I? I'm just I'm just making sure with you. >> You are. You are. I did. Nobody. >> I know. But I also know you have a little bit of alcohol in your system and you're you're a little emotionally elevated right now. All right. So, I just want to make sure you're going to be all right if we leave. You going to be all right, Camira? >> Yes, sir. >> All right. We're going to get out of here now. Okay. You call us if you need us. Okay. You try to have a better night. All right. Okay. So, and to to address uh her actions towards me, uh her being [clears throat] emotionally elevated, I understood this the circumstances of she just her friends just kind of beat her up, so she's going to be a little elevated and upset. Uh I didn't take her as being upset towards me. Uh she I didn't cons perceive her as much of a threat at that point. She was barely wearing any clothing, so there wasn't any sort of concealed weapons on her. Uh she's very petite woman, so I confident in my own uh abilities to handle the situation if need be. That's why I was more lenient with her, kind of letting her emotions come out. Um, >> she was getting a little close to me at some points and that's when I would ask her to step away, but I was just trying to let her let her get her emotions out before I had to take an extra step in any sort of direction. Uh, if it was a different situation, if there was a 6'5, 280 lb guy who was upset at me go a little bit differently. We' we'd probably end up having to detain him in cuffs until he calmed down. But I didn't I didn't see a need for her to go into cuffs at that point. That probably would have just escalated the situation when it didn't need to be escalated more. So, we're going to a disturbance uh previously occurred or it just occurred at Samco East at the gas station. a white female and a green t-shirt, blonde hair, >> walked into the store. >> We're going to be between Wendy's and Texico. Also, there's going to be a male walk towards the front of Texico. He's going to have a black duff bag. >> Wendy's and Texico, but she was causing uh a disturbance. >> Going to be back here with me now. Okay. She was in walking into the Texico and uh the workers suspected her being on narcotics. Um stated that she was causing a disturbance inside the store, cussing at customers and uh personnel in the in the gas station. So they want us to come make contact with her. So that's what we're going to do. Get my bait. >> Get your bait. All right. You mind if I throw your pocket? >> No. >> No. You don't mind? >> All right. Give me a second. Stay there. >> Yes, sir. >> Don't move. Keep your hand right there. >> What's going on? >> Um, my friend from the Waffle House hands out your pocket. >> Okay. >> Friend from the Waffle House. What? >> My friend from the Waffle House brought me some food over here. This French fries and his hamburger. >> Okay. You still talking? >> Um, my friend from the water house brought me some hamburgers and French fries. >> Uhhuh. >> And I said, "I ain't ate nothing in 4 days." He said, "Well, I got you some food." And then he took off that way and he got into an argument with somebody up there at the convenience store. >> Uhhuh. >> But I don't know who he got in an argument with. >> I don't know. >> They said that you should argue with >> I was not arguing with nobody, sir. I promise to god I wouldn't. >> You was in Samco yelling at that I was not >> I was not at >> No, I was not at Sanco. I was not there in a conven. >> No, but actually I'm from McGra. >> You got driver license? >> No, I'm from Lraange, Georgia. >> Do you have a driver's license through Lraine through Georgia? >> No, because people keep stealing my stuff, you know. But I'm from Lraange, Georgia. Um I came down here to um Anderson, Alabama. I came to go to a rehab and when I got to the rehab it didn't really work out like I wanted to. The girls see me really bad and they disrespected me so I left and then um I came up here. This is Oxford, right? I'm going to be in Oxford. I'm going to be in y'all for the next 5 years. Y'all going to see a lot of me. I might suffer. I might be gross and disgusting. I might be sweating. I might be starving. And y'all might see me looking gross on the sidewalk, sleeping, but I got to suffer for five more years to save my life. But I love y'all. >> Say for five more. Why five years? >> Um, it's complicated, sir. Him and that black man was having a conversation. I don't care. I mean, I might know what's going on, but I'm not going to speak on it because I'm trying to save my life. >> Hey, Jonathan. She was asking for some resources like to help her get back up on her feet like better like enhancing. I don't know. I was like, I know you. >> You said the same thing, too. >> Yeah.
