Um we read them Miranda, um giving them the opportunity to speak on if they have anything else on their person because if we get down to the jail and when they get searched, if anything else is found, um it will be added to them. It'll be added to the charge. So, we'll just have to get down to the jail and figure out. All three of the female subjects that we have, they're going to be charged um with a felony tonight. So, we're going to be transporting them down to the Oxford City Jail. And then after we do our booking process and arrest reports, we'll be um transferring transporting them to the Cullman County Jail since they have felonies. So, some of them have warrants, but with us having our own charges at the time, those will come first and then those other agencies after they get the chance to bond out or something like that, they'll have the opportunity to place a hold on them, stuff like that. Uh got a call from Home Depot. There are two individuals. One's inside the store and one's in the car. They have had prior thefts from Home Depot and Lowe's. Um he called me to tell me cuz he heard the radio traffic that the same suspects, based off the description provided, stole from uh Walmart and Lowe's while he was working shift last week. Um he told me that she normally keeps stolen property in her purse. Um and so we actually should I think we've arrested them. Um he stole two headlamps and a knife or attempted to conceal them in Home Depot. And then um he had a he had his girlfriend wait outside for him. So, Officer McFarland was talking to her. Uh when I went out there to make contact with her, we were able to see in plain view inside of the car some items that we believe to be stolen. Um so, you know, advised her her Miranda rights and and speak to uh the suspect's girlfriend. And at that point um she pretty much admits um to to having knowledge of a lot of property in the car being stolen. Um So, she points out specifically what property in the car is stolen uh to me and to Officer McFarland. And um it's it's a pretty hefty amount. Um probably from upwards of four or five different retail uh stores in the city of Oxford. Um that's just by my guess so far. We'll see what investigations turns up. So, we brought him to jail, booked him in for theft fourth. Um he's probably going to have some more charges in the future uh based off of the investigation of all the stolen property that we recovered. As far as this morning goes, she wasn't necessarily involved in the theft. Um and she was pretty cooperative. She helped us recover a lot of other stolen property. So, she was left and and free to go from the scene. Uh we might have some question questions for her um at a later date and time. But, for right now, we got a bunch of paperwork to do and uh bunch of stolen property to put into evidence to hopefully be returned to the uh to the rightful owners. So, that's it.
