investigation. >> This guy is a jerk. Well, WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING MOM, WHY IS SHE TOUCHING ME? WHY DID SHE JUST TOUCH ME? He was parked in the law enforcement parking spot. What's up everybody? In today's video, we have a police impersonator Karen who gets arrested after flashing a badge that doesn't belong to her. But first, I want to show you a tasing that happened in the most unexpected circumstances. Without further ado, let's get started. There you are. Thank you. Make sure signal 39 5095 Columbus Street. Um who's the homeowner? Okay. I'm Detective Dixon with the UC Police Department. So I'll be doing an investigation. Who's This your mom? Yes. Okay. Does she have any illness? She's all right. Come on with this. Yeah, she's been sick. She fell last year. She has arthritis and a hip injury. That's her illness. And she's been in the hospital. My mom has a illness. No, that's not her illness. We don't have to explain NOTHING SHE GOT A phone guy. She got a phone guy. Mom. She got a Mom, stop. She's been in the hospital and she's been in the hospital a great I DON'T CARE. SHE JUST CAME HOME LAST WEEK. She's been in the hospital for 2 months last She just came home last week. I'M TRYING TO HELP MY GRANDMOTHER. WE HAVE other times we can explain later. Just calm down. Answer the one question. That's it. Yeah. Do you have a >> a healthcare proxy. So if y'all want to ask anything, y'all can ask me. I'm I'm I'm the guardian of you So, any questions y'all want to ask you can ask me and I'll answer it. Since when did this become an investigation? The [ __ ] THE [ __ ] MOM, COME ON. THEY GOT TO GET UP OUT OF HERE. THEY GOT TO GET UP OUT OF HERE. THEY GOT TO GET UP OUT OF HERE, MOM. SO, THE investigators are there for a reason. Maybe they think it's foul play. Maybe it's just a protocol to just ask some questions. Maybe there's something unusual. The worst thing you can do in this situation is have a complete meltdown and temper tantrum and bring attention to yourself. Now, most likely there's no foul play whatsoever, but at least let them do their job. And I understand that they're running on high emotions. They just had a death in the family. That's sad and I can empathize for that. But, at the same time you still have to act like an adult. This is the day of my life. Never in my [ __ ] life. I've never witnessed no [ __ ] like this. >> What's going on? I have no idea. They said it's an investigation. Since when we doing an investigation cuz somebody died? Uncle Washing died in our house we didn't have no investigation. I never witnessed nothing like this. Yeah, right. We ain't never had this protocol. Auntie Evelyn died Auntie Evelyn died in her house and they didn't do none of this. Ain't nobody ever did nothing like this, Mom. They doing an investigation right now. Okay. But, that's not true. We was in this house when her brother died and GBI was not in this house. We're not GBI. Or whoever you are. Whoever you are. Whatever. It's okay. Okay, whoever you are. We was in this house and nobody came in here by no investigation. Nobody No, no. AUNTIE EVELYN JUST DIED in her own house. Her kids found her and I ain't seen none of that. Can you tell us tell us what what what it is? We'll tell you when it happened. It is just a simple >> let's get them up out of here. Let's get them up out of here. Let's go. You're nice. You We're not blaming you on this situation, okay? I don't know what the [ __ ] they doing to my mom. Make that clear, okay? But this is protocol, so we have to come here I ain't going to say nothing. medicine, take pictures. We also have to talk to the medical examiner everything. That's just the protocol that we do when we respond to these situations, okay? Well, okay. >> So, if y'all need to know what's wrong with They don't need to know nothing about my They got an MRI and gravy. That's what they told you. Mom, I want them I want them to That's what I was trying to ask what was her last illness. That's what I was asking what was her last illness. What was her She had the fungus in her leg. She had She had the fungus She told me, but she was also She had the fungus that they said that they it probably will never go away and they can't get the antibiotics because the insurance won't pay for it and it and it's very severe. I haven't even spoken to my sister. They told my grandma that the fungus that they can't pay that the the insurance couldn't pay for that they said that's real So, on one hand, I totally understand what they're going through. They just lost a loved one and then the cops show up at their house and ask a bunch of questions. I get it. It's annoying and they might feel a little bit on the defensive. But what's about to happen is just so completely unnecessary. At the end of the day, they are adults and they should realize that the cops have a job to do. >> And that probably killed her. That already put her in the septic healing and that probably killed her from the beginning. So, that's what it is. Okay. >> the problem. It don't matter what color they said what the illness was. That's the illness. The last thing the fungus in her the leg that they couldn't give her medicine for. >> Ma'am, okay, thank you. They can't give her no antibiotics. Why are you Why are you touching me, honey? Why are you touching me? BUT WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING ME? MOM, WHY IS SHE TOUCHING ME? WHY DID SHE TOUCH ME? WHY DID SHE JUST TOUCH ME, MOMMY? BUT, why did she touch me? She wouldn't She wouldn't agree with HER MOTHER. SHE SAID SHE Y'ALL GOT TO Y'ALL GOT TO UNDERSTAND THAT Y'ALL GOT TO DO WHAT Y'ALL GOT TO DO. BUT, at the same time, if this was your grandmother or your mother, you would be responding in the same way, too. You would be responding in the same way, too. So, y'all give us a goddamn minute. Y'all can't give us a goddamn minute. So, 100, 200, 10 more minutes in the house. And she TOUCHED ME. I DIDN'T TOUCH HER. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. SHE DIDN'T SAY NOTHING. I DON'T I DON'T KNOW. PLEASE DON'T DO THAT. PLEASE DON'T DO THAT. PLEASE CALL THE POLICE. PLEASE CALL THE POLICE. PLEASE CALL the police. Please call the police. HELLO. HELLO. HELLO. HELLO. HELLO. HELLO. WHY ARE YOU ON MY BROTHER? SHE WANTED TO TAKE ME TO THE GROUND. SO, IN THE END, THEY DETAINED HER, BUT SHE got no charges whatsoever. She tried to get all these cops fired, and the police chief wanted to offer his condolences, but she refused. So, that's where it ended, no charges, and I sure hope that they're able to move on from this without too many issues. But, next time maybe try to act like an adult. Anyways, let's move on to the next body cam. And this body cam is really interesting because I actually covered this cell phone footage over a year ago on my other channel. And now we finally have the body cam footage. But first, let's take a look at the cell phone footage. There's no statute. >> towed. There's no statute. No, there's not. Show me the statute. Is there a statute? What? You're the police officer. Why don't you look it up? >> I wrote it down. But why don't you look it up? Why do I have But you should already know it. You can tell me what the statute. Tell me what the statute is. >> Please read the sign. Does it say anything about the car will be towed? You're not a police officer. I am. No, you're not. Not with the Not with teeth like that. Not with teeth like that. Ma'am, you're not a police officer, ma'am. You're flashing a badge around. It's It says Bellevue. Excuse me. Excuse me, ma'am. She's flashing a badge around like she's a police officer, and she's not. She's not a police officer. >> leave it alone, sir? Yeah. But you guys going to tow my car? No, but you can Thank you. See, you heard what she said. Your car is can't be towed. You're not a police officer. Your car is not. Why are you flashing a badge at me telling me you're a police officer and you're not? You're going to be in trouble for that. Where would I get a badge from? You buy it off of Do you just carry your badge around when you're off duty? I'm not off duty. How do you know what I'm doing? You're You're on duty with Crocs on? Do you know what I'm doing right now? I don't care what you're doing. I don't care what you're doing. You broke a rule. >> That's not a rule. There's difference between rules and laws, man. That's a rule? You can't give me a ticket. Give me a ticket. I'm going to stay I'll be right out here. Please give me a ticket. I'm asking you please Assaulting an officer? Nobody saw me assault her. So that was the entire footage that I reviewed last year. Clearly she was impersonating a cop and she's just being a nosy Karen and that's where it ended. But now we have the body cam. So let's see what happened when this guy reported the crime at the police station. Uh hi there. Hey, were you the one that called about the Walmart incident? Yeah, what's going on with that? >> to see this? Yeah, sure. So I'll before this is just something I always do. It's no offense to you but you just have to understand my stance on it. >> I'm a personal friend of the auditor. Okay. And I record I record I record everything. Okay, yeah, no problem. You have to just you have to strike now you put it in Yeah. Oh yeah, yeah, that's unfortunately the process. You don't mind if I get your name and badge? Yeah, uh Sergeant Facetti 3799. Okay, thank you. So here's what happened. I was at the um quarter neighborhood market. The one up here, not the big Walmart. >> No, yeah, this one over here. >> Yep, okay. So I parked where it says reserved for law enforcement. Okay. Partners reserved >> Do they have that at the neighborhood Walmart? >> Yeah. >> Okay, I knew they had it at the I parked there sometimes. I have a bum foot today so I was like I'm just going to I had a little running here. So That's just a courtesy thing. There's no law against it or anything. Well Thank you. Yeah, and you're telling me that somebody said something so okay. So this is the Here, I'll I'll hold it if you want. >> the note that I came out. Somebody left this on your car? >> I Well, I have her I have her on camera, too. Okay. She's flashed a badge at me. And she So, I went into Walmart to ask them about the note and about the parking. Can I get towed for parking there? They said, "Absolutely not." I guess she I guess the person the person who wrote this note overheard. So, I was walking I was like, "Whatever." I'm just walking back out to my car to go home. And I found this. Well, I found that first and when I was walking back from Walmart the second time, she comes out, flashes her badge. She's wearing um I think white shorts, Crocs, and a tank top. Seemed like off-duty type or was it like professional wear? Like was it like she was working at the time or No, she claimed that she was she was on the clock. So, clearly what we're dealing with is a Karen so powerful, I don't think we've seen a Karen of this magnitude before. This woman walks around with a badge that doesn't belong to her and impersonates police officers to have her Karen meltdown and boss people around. Now, should the guy have parked in the law enforcement-only zone? Of course not. He's kind of a douche, but it is what it is. It's not like he parked in the handicap spot. And even if he did that, she still wouldn't be able to enforce anything because she's just a Karen. She's not a cop. Before you better your Lexus? I am. All right. You want to go back inside and talk? You want to talk out here? >> No, we'll talk out here. My badge is inside. Okay. Is it about the situation you were just having at Walmart? Um so, yeah, something with the DCF. They called They called us just to come out and do it like the investigation. >> This guy is a jerk. He complains all the time at Walmart. What he did was he was parked in the law enforcement parking spot. So, I left a note on his car that said, "You've been warned. This is for law enforcement. What if there was an emergency?" Okay, I don't think that's what I'm here for. The what? Are you talking about All right, sorry to continue cuz I think you might be explaining a different story, but I I That's the only What's DCF? Uh Department of Children and uh Oh, I don't know anything about What's What's that about? >> So, uh you work with uh J old. He's a retired police Yeah, but you you help uh Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Okay. Uh is it So, so you you work with him, right? Yeah, but my dad was just You want to go inside my Yeah, come on in cuz this does have to do with that. I thought this is at called at Walmart that I >> No, no, I don't know anything about that. If If they called, we didn't do anything about it cuz Yeah, come on in, Officer Couch. My son's asleep, so >> Yeah. Well, thanks for letting us in. Hold on. Not cuz I'm worried you're going to run, but Okay. for behind the back if you fall down, I don't want you to bang your head. I need to come around. Probably come around the front. Does this button unlock it? Is this for the car? Oh, that's for safety. Yeah. Oh, it's already unlocked. Oh, let me actually lock it. Uh no, it's fine. >> Okay. All right. Uh let's go see if we can find your dad. I'll put the keys back inside. Okay. So, the craziest part about this video is that this badge looks real because it is real. It's someone else's badge. Now, if someone were to present this to you and say I'm a police officer, you would believe them, which is why this is a massive deal. Now, granted, she didn't use this badge to try to gain access to his house or to try to extort him for money, but the mere fact that she thinks that this is okay to do is a massive problem, and that's why she needs to go to jail. You both live here? I'm sorry. You guys both live here? Me and my son. No, your dad. Does he live here too? Or oh. No, they're in here. Hey, uh we have a unfortunate situation here, okay? Uh Alexis is is going to be placed under arrest, okay? Um I'm not sure if you know about Did you tell him about that whole incident at Walmart or >> he didn't say anything. He didn't say. Okay. Um do you want me to get into it with him? I mean it's so Um Today Officer Coats came by earlier that day. She had a confrontation with a gentleman over at the Walmart market here. Um while um she had a concern a fair enough concern about an individual parking in a law enforcement only spot there. Um while addressing that with them, she identified herself as an officer and actually wrote a note on there like, "This is a warning from the Port Orange Police." Um ended up showing them this badge here and and saying she's an officer. So, um Unfortunately Uh of a serious the incident itself never really turned into anything serious. They ended up going their separate ways, things like that. But, in general something like this could be very serious. Somebody impersonating officer whether it be with a badge or blue and red lights on their vehicle. >> badge or you keeping it? It's going to go into evidence for right now, but >> Jim's badge. Yeah, no, it it'll it'll be returned to him. Um but, I'm not just going to leave it here to you know, I don't know where it ends up. So, we'll make sure it gets back to him. He's got another one. We actually seen another one at his house while we were over there. Um But, yeah, obviously it's something that we want him to have. But, just back on the fact of just the potential seriousness of the incident itself and its nature. Um When he said it was serious, he was not joking because impersonating a police officer is a third-degree felony in Florida. Now, it could be even worse. It could be a second-degree felony if it was used at the same time as the person was committing another felony, or it could be a first-degree felony, but in this case, it's going to be a third one. Now, you guys know how the judges are these days. They drop everything. They give probation for everything. So, I don't think she'll get actual consequences, but it can be very serious. We are going to make an arrest on it today. Um she is going to go down to the the Volusia County jail. Um she will have a bond if that's something you want to work out so she's not staying there tonight. >> is this thing? Uh it is a a third-degree felony. So, it's it's a felony uh the lowest level of a felony, but it is a felony charge, yeah. Okay. And what are the Bond's probably going to be around 3,000 total. Um usually through a bondsman, if you go through them, they want 10%. So, you're looking at at least probably like $300 as as up to a bondsman. And I've got that in my bank account. I can give it right back to you. That's not the point. Yeah. I The point is didn't I say something to you? I said, "Hey, look, you're not an officer." I know. Cuz I've seen your car parked there. And it's like Jim was with me. Well, Jim was with me. >> fine, but Oh, parked at the law enforcement spot? >> Yeah, the one the far on the left, closest to the Yeah. Well, this was an instance of another guy parking there, and she said something to him. >> I said something to you. >> You're not law enforcement. You can't park there. And which really anybody can. It's not It's not like it's a handicap spot that's finable, you know, you can't be fined for parking in that spot. It's just something that Walmart puts up for, you know, if an emergency vehicle or something has to go there. Yeah, courtesy. Yeah. Um but yeah, she actually addressed that with him. You might That's not like a knife or anything. You might just set that in the >> is a shovel. Okay. You might as put it in the back. You're just setting that like a >> No, it's grass. weeds. No, I know, but Um so yeah, that's just kind of where we you know, where we're at. >> So is there any way this thing would be dropped because it's what, like a perfect >> It could be. I mean, that's up to the courts, going through the system and stuff. So And that's the thing, the judges have a lot of leeway for something like this. And personally, I don't think that she should get a very long sentence. She didn't hurt anyone. It was incredibly stupid. I think she should learn her lesson, but it shouldn't be years in prison. Now, there's other crimes where I think judges are being way too relaxed on, like DUI. I think it should have a mandatory jail sentence, even if it's your first offense, even if it's at least 30 or 60 days, it would be a deterrent. But in this case, I don't think they need that big of a deterrent. I think she'll probably realize that she was just being incredibly stupid. >> She say, "Look, your honor, I was used to bringing a police officer with me." I'm not going to give like legal advice on what somebody should say or anything. You can hire an attorney, if not, the state provides an attorney also. So if if that's that's up to you if you want to do a private one or go through the state. That's up That's for you guys to decide. I mean, that won't be later down the road anyway. She'll get booked today, but can be out today if bonded out. If not, she'll see a judge tomorrow, I think at 8:00 a.m. on the weekend, so if you can't get out tonight, you'll you'll >> Oh, that's right. It is Friday, isn't it? Yeah, you have the court appearance at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow. >> Well, it's not really an arraignment, it's first appearance. They're They have to have it within 24 hours. An arraignment is more of like when you're formally charged, which will come down like a couple months. That could be a a while before they even get to that, so if it even gets that. If something can be addressed in between then, I don't know. I don't know how it it'll play out. >> Yeah. Our involvement kind of ends here, and now it's up to the state attorney and the prosecutor's office as far as how they're going to handle the case, so Okay. All right. Well, obviously, we knew you're here, so we wanted to find you and let you know what was going on, but any questions for me or anything? She'll be able to call you here in a little bit if you want to finish your work up and >> call me when you're ready and we'll decide if you stay the weekend or what. Or that, yeah. Yeah, whatever you guys want to Whatever you want to decide, so. All right, well, I appreciate it. All right, so she was charged with impersonating a police officer and unlawfully use of a badge, and she was sentenced to two days in jail. So, like I said, the judges have a lot of leeway in a case like this. Now, that's it for the video. Thank you so much for watching. Don't forget to subscribe, and I'll see you guys on the next one.
