on July 5th 2022 at approximately 6:40
p.m. an officer in Georgia was
dispatched to an intersection following
a report of a male in a red truck
experiencing a suspected
overdose he's breathing and he's got a
pulse all right let's get him out of the
car and onto the ground
back IND you hey man were you with him
when yeah he picked me up uhuh and as we
were pulling away I was telling him he
was falling asleep M I took her the
steering wheel I got us right here so he
was driving yeah he was driving okay
were you with him when he took whatever
he took no no okay did he mention
anything about taking anything no oh my

vehicle run that tag run his license try

this is Sergeant Albert Savannah Police
Department how are you okay sir how are
you uh not too bad you work for the
Sheriff's Department yes sir so we got a
call from some somebody called in saying
that uh your son well we found out it
was your son was overdosing on in your
truck our officers came here and found
him unresponsive and gave him
Naran and saved his life he got
disorderly with our officers and uh they
had to use minor force in order to put
him in handcuffs because he was acting a
fool we're calling you out of courtesy
to uh come over to the the scene pick up
your truck so we don't have to tow it
and you could probably bring your son
home too but even though he's going to
be charged with uh disorderly conduct
and arrested for a misdemeanor offense
but as you know you guys don't take
misdemeanors at the jail so he's going
to be he's going to be released on
subpoena did they ever put y yeah I did
that in training but they only did for
like 5 minutes right put y'all in cups
how was it you get ma too fun time
nobody put you in those handcuffs but
yourself took them off your hip put on
your actions put you in those handcuffs
but that wasn't logical what you just
said was charged with disorderly conduct
and obstruction and was released on a
subpoena his father arrived shortly
after and took possession of the vehicle
