On February 17th, 2024, the Dallas Fort
Worth Police Department was called to
the scene at the airport for reports of
a disturbance on the premises. The
following shows the bodywn worn camera
footage of what happened during the
incident.

were sitting over at Bobby and we just
noticed our phone that they had changed
it over here and we had like 10 minutes
to get over here but I had to go to the
bathroom all the way back and I was
walking in the wrong direction and he
was trying to tell me and I was thinking
I was going in the right direction.
Okay. And it just went from there cuz he
know he's my son, right? And he knows
that I get upset and he was just trying
to calm me down. Do you guys fight like
this a lot or like what? Why? Only when
I get anxious. How long have you been
here at the airport? Like all we just
got here like 4 hours ago. Okay. You
just landed from another spot. We came
from Philadelphia and we was waiting
over there for 4 hours thinking that
we're going to board there and then all
of a sudden we had to get on the plane
and rush and I got upset excited.

fine. Has have you guys been drinking or
anything? I I gave him I bought him a
drink. Okay. Did you drink on the plane
or something? Because he seems he seems
out of it a little bit. I don't know
what's going on. I brought him two long
hours. He was sitting at the bar. Okay.
But you don't need medical or EMS. No.

not paying anything. I want my son to be

relationship is and I was sitting here.

there shouting and screaming and cursing
and [ __ ] and it got worse and worse
where they were both at the point of
being combative but no country.
Okay, this guy here was just completely
totally out of control and now he's
acting calm and collected like he's done
nothing. Okay, he started the entire
incident and now he wants to be calm
because he don't want to go to jail.
But this guy, I understand why
they had to take him down because he
just did not come out. But he he got
upset and because of being upset, he
allowed his temper to override, right?
And he got
just I mean he was combat. He was
probably the instigator though. He
started to Okay. All right. Good. Right.
You don't want to. He admitted to kind
of starting the whole argument.
He wanted to use the restroom. So this
the son was mad because they're boarding
this flight. So the son is like, "No,
dad, we've had all day to use the
restroom." Type of stuff. We need to
board this flight. And then I guess he
kind of started walking the wrong way to
the bathroom. So he kind of tried to
correct them. No, go this way. And then
that's when they started yelling and
arguing at each other. That's like the
whole fight. And there might have been a
little bit of pushing and shoving maybe,
but they were done. They were done by
the time we got here. They were just
yelling at each other. Um, he's
obviously drunk. I knew from the moment.
Yeah, I was just looking him. I He's
been drinking, but he's he can he's
walking fine, standing fine, talking
fine, everything. So, he admitted to
having a drink. He said he gave his son
multiple drinks. They and they've been
at the airport 4 hours. So I'm sure they
he drank multiple places. So I have to
do a use of force for the taser when
energized. He pointed it at him. Yeah.
Whole thing. They saw the whole thing.
They see my pop screaming. They don't
think they heard my pop screaming. See
me try to calm them down.
