I've given him a treat he was fine with that and then I I walked by him I was going to show the man some dog food and walked by him and the dog just jumped me yeah that's really great that he's walking around would you guys have anything on camera they would have yeah okay can I just get your name yeah what the fire department to come done with the fire department to come no I don't think so do you want me to look at it maybe we're gonna call you maybe okay do you want to unwrap it or well it was bleeding pretty good so I didn't want to that's why I'm wondering if we shouldn't have the fire department come take care of you it looked like it was gonna you know at first it didn't it wasn't sure it was going to bleed or you just nailed me and then because I pulled away from him very quickly he uh he said I better get him out of here he didn't give you his name or anything huh no I should should have asked for his name okay what were you stocking shelves is that what you were and he's trying to figure out what forms to fill out and everything you need to be seen if you can't come back and fill out the information we need to report a fire coming right now they'll just just come in triage her and take a look at how bad it is okay there I went in the back and they're handing her material I said no how how um longer does this happen thank you how long ago did it happen probably 20 20 minutes ago okay because I went right to Russell and we were in the emergency trying to find something to put on it okay yeah you're going to want to be seen because it's definitely well you know I of course I asked him if he had any rabies shots of course he said yes I don't know and I don't know if he was in the um he may have been in the training class before I'm gonna go check with management and see if we can't figure out who the guy is okay because I need to find the dog for sure yeah all right and he was on leash yes okay definitely Unleashed okay and it was a black German Shepherd no he had a black head and a grindel body so he looked like he was a a lab pit you know okay fuzzy smooth he's like Smooth coated he's like a German Shepherd but he he's like a Malinois he's in the same line as a malawa a certain kind of Shepherd so I don't know if he was in the training class or not okay and then what about um [Applause] the guy that had the dog what did he look like you know I wasn't really paying attention he looked a little scruffy but you know not any more than anybody else walking around on a Saturday huh yeah white guy white guy I won um probably 30. 30 early 30s maybe okay I must at 79 I'm a lousy judge of age it's quite all right everybody looks 25 to me yeah that was just coincidence that I was here and this is going on but this is good because it is reportable and we need to have a police report on it for sure okay so I don't know if it's on it's on one of the side outs I was over at the end of the blue aisle and I was just gonna I give him a treat he was fine with that I took the treat he was a little Snappy but he took the treat because I always do this and I'd ask permission and he said yes and then um we were talking about puppy food and I he's like a six month old puppy and I said boy it's going to be big so then I I was going to show him the large breed puppy food so he was down at the end of that aisle and he pulled out the puppy food and looked at it put it back when I when I went to get him when so he was standing on this side of me and it went around this way and the dog jumped from him and got my hand okay and he probably wanted another treat well that's a pretty severe bite for just wanting a treat the dog was the man put him down on the ground immediately and told him no no no because I noticed he was pretty strong handed with him but you have to be with him now alone yeah they're pretty tough yeah yeah for sure yeah my boss he's gonna love this I fell on the 27th coming down to Fred Meyers I tripped him something and so I've got an l and I claim working well this will be another one yeah eat with me he'll be thrilled I'm sure manager here any idea who this guy was you have a lot of video I I don't know anything about it yet okay she just mentioned it to me okay I just happened to be in the store but this is definitely a reportable thing to the police department and I'd sure like to get a hold of this man with this dog yeah I was gonna after she got off the phone yeah if there was yeah he did because there was just a dog shocked me that left um but I didn't I didn't get a prescription from her yet but there was a dog that just left that my associate so um so that person bleeding too um she's got she's got two just really tiny little like bite marks on her face sure she's going to get it checked like she's going into the bathroom going check it out but I I want to get a description of the dog to see if it's the same dog type blackhead brindle body oh no not that okay no no this was just a little boy okay yeah um she thinks maybe this dog was in class know I have a member I'm working white guy had it on leash um six-month-old if that's if that's possibly the case then I can go check with my trainer to see okay um because I would have information for the person if that was okay yeah all right or even something on video would be good I think the fire department coming to check her and they can check your person at the same time if you'd like somebody else get bit different dog apparently so you said it was a Malinois yeah he was he's a big shepherd He had a black head and he had like a brindle body you know in good size shepherd He said it's like a mellow okay yeah he is so he told me you know go be seen and uh you know the girls in the back I went to see if I could get some stuff to put around it and the girls in the back said oh no if you've been bit and they looked at it and they said you definitely need to be seen you need antibiotics it's the first thing they have to do is get antibiotics so they don't get an infection it wasn't me it wasn't like a heater I didn't give them a treat okay and and so it wasn't a process of that we he were talking about food and I was going to step and show him the the larger purposes hi we actually have two victims oh yeah so she's number one her hand is pretty well bitten and then he has an employee that was just bitten in the back here so or yes okay my first time kind of get like this and I've been here almost five years so yeah okay yeah where's the second fish I think she's in the restroom just two very just two very small she went to the restroom just to check it out a couple of antibiotic appointments I'm gonna go see real quick if my uh trainer recognizes I'll come up when I'm done here thank you so much I'll be right back yeah I put some antibiotics no no I just put antibiotics stuff on it right away that'll help out more yeah in the bathroom yeah okay excuse me okay let me get back here let me tell you all right given her age and stuff I thought it was best if you guys took a look at her before she went and tried to drive she was pretty shocked I just happened to be here and she got bit and then a guy in the backpack bit and I'm like that same dog different dog two different dogs so I've stepped into it here I'm gonna quit coming in here I mean when it happened not her she was she is a buffalo rep and so she was out here in the aisle you know talking to people about dog food and stuff and asked the guy could his dog have a treat and he said yeah and he had the dog sit and she thought it was fine to feed it took the treat nice yeah she backs up the dog lunges at her and bites her hand do you have any antibiotics stuff would you like him to take some vital signs for you or do you think you're okay yeah but dog's mouths are filthy yeah they're filthy infection infection is your biggest concern with this huh infection is your biggest concern with this okay all right I'm wondering if you don't you don't think I need rabies shots here that's why I need to find a dog but I'm gonna say no I'm gonna say you're probably okay but if I'm able to find the dog I'll quarantine it for sure find out all of its vaccination history okay that would be great yeah and then you have my number right I do and here's the here's a card and that's chances that we take when we're handling these dogs all the time same thing for me when I'm loading dogs on the truck so okay so how about the dog owner and all that do you know who that is um do you okay so here's the thing with dogs their mouths are filthy absolutely filthy so your biggest concern is some kind of infection in that it's up to you whether or not you go get medically treated I always recommend if their skin is broken that you get treated this is my recommendation okay okay I'm no doctor okay all right all right okay and then let me give you a card with your case number how
