We were waiting for the detective. So, the detective's going to seize your phone. >> No one told me anything. You told me that you were about to take me home. >> Okay. So, I'm not going to sit here and argue with you. So, you can hang up You can hang up your the phone and I can take you home. Yep. So No. They're not taking my phone and letting me leave. You got I will I'll look it up maybe. Let's get Let me see while we Let's get the video play. Where am I going to go without my phone if I do the interview? >> That's That's up to you. No. Well, if I do the interview >> You can go do the You can go do the interview, but your phone's going to currently be seized. Can I talk to him first and he come down here cuz >> Nope. We're We're not going to do that. So, you can hang up the phone or I'm going to take the phone. That's how this is going to work. >> the phone. >> No, absolutely not. So, She said hang up the phone and they're going to take the phone cuz at this point I'll be a threat. It's not a threat. I've asked you several times and you're just going to go back and forth with me. >> as to why my phone is being taken. So, >> talk to >> going to be under investigation by the fire department. So, stop Stop Don't interrupt me. >> to do with my device? >> interrupt me. The fire is going to be under investigation. >> I'll be in this car. Don't ever tell me not to interrupt you. I'll be in this car. So, the phone's going to be seized. So, in a second I'm going to take it. I'm asking you I'm asking you a reason. I'm not We're being rebuttal. I'm asking you a reason. >> So, if you would like to talk to the detective, you can. Why is my phone being seized? >> If you would like to talk to the detective that is seizing it, you can. Do you wish to talk to him? >> Yeah, but >> Do you want to give the interview? No, I wanted to ask him why my phone's being seized cuz she said she could take me home, but without my phone. That doesn't make sense. It still It sounds like that's >> So, are you going to talk to the detective? No, I need I need everyone to come and tell me why my phone's being seized cuz no one told me this until right now. So, Cuz it seems like >> question So, the question >> it seems like he's being petty cuz he won't let me do the interview. So, So, the question So, the question is are you going to talk to the detective? >> of fact, are you recording this? Are you going to talk to the detective and provide an interview? Yes or no? Is that with or without the phone? Without the phone. The phone's being seized. Are you talking to the detective or no? >> Phone That might That's not my question. I need an answer for that before I get So, the question is are you going to provide an interview? No. No? Okay. Go ahead and me the phone. I have to know if my phone is being recorded. >> me the phone. Hand me the phone. Hand me the phone. Do not kick. Okay. Put your legs out. Stop. Relax. Relax. Relax. We just want your phone. That's what we want. We want your phone. Taylor, no. STOP. STOP KICKING. Stop kicking. Hey. Taylor, give me your Give me your hand. Give me your hand. Taylor. Turn her to that way. Oh, it's too late. >> Relax your arm, Taylor. You're under arrest. Relax your arms. Do you know her date of birth? No. We got her. All right. Get up. Okay. Okay. Relax. Relax. Didn't you let her down low? Okay. Hold on. Let me tighten them up. Get off the Stay down. Relax. Stay down. >> GET ME OFF THE M- RELAX. STAY DOWN. >> WHY AM I ON THE FLOOR? ALL RIGHT, TAYLOR. HEY, we're going to roll this way. Ready? Why are you pinning me on the floor? We're going to get you up. Relax. You are pinning me up. I got my [ __ ] human. Roll left. Roll my way. Roll my way. We're going your way. All right, stand up. Get to Go to your knees, Taylor. Y'all just okay with this. All of y'all. Oh, girl, shut up. You are a black African-American woman. Where's her property? Where's the phone at? You're black. All right, we're going this way. You're white. What I expected from them. You're black, dude. You also kicked me in the head, so You also I CAME HERE WILLINGLY CUZ I TRUSTED YOU. And look at what you're doing. Are you willing to provide a statement or no? What does that mean? Are you going to talk to me if we go back there or not? >> You are forcing me to. >> I'm asking you if you're going to provide >> But you're forcing me to. >> I can't force you to talk. >> You're taking my items. I'm seizing this for now, yes. What does that mean? >> You want to provide a statement? >> My Detective, I need to talk to her. I need an attorney present. >> you can Okay. I need a lawyer. >> You can take her to jail. All right. Take me to Where's her property? Whatever charges you guys have. Do you have resisting and aggravated battery of a police officer? Why would I do that anyway? Okay, I'll do the interview. You still have the charges. I didn't I didn't aggravate you. You assaulted me. Okay, [laughter] so relax. Say I didn't aggravate you. You assaulted me. I'm 18 years old and you assaulted me. Of course I'm aggravated. I I wasn't under arrest. This thing arrest. You didn't SAY THAT I WAS UNDER ARREST. Is this the back of your earring? Are you arrest Are you putting something on my record? You're being arrested. I asked you So, listen. Don't I asked you to provide your phone and you refused, okay? When you refused >> You didn't give me a reason. So, no. I said your phone was being seized. You never gave me a reason. Don't interrupt. They told you. >> I said your phone was being seized. I asked you the reason. I trusted you. That's why I came here. You did not hand me your phone, okay? Then we took your phone. >> I came here willingly. >> You're going to jail. I kicked you out because you all were manhandling me. I couldn't move. I was scared. >> to take police officers, but >> I was scared. Hello, you would do the same thing. >> The cuffs are supposed to be double locked. If they weren't double locked, then >> They weren't. Go ahead and double lock them. Double lock them? I can't move. Are you guys serious right now? How are you going to do this to me? I'm like Bro, I just got out of high school AND YOU ALL ARE SCARING me for Do you need to transport her? Do you mind? Or are you guys busy? What are you talking to >> I'm just doing paperwork. I'm not busy. I'm I'm I'm fine. Yes. You do? Yes. >> Okay, it's not going to affect any charges they have on you. Okay, then just What is happening right now? I came down here cuz I thought I was doing an interview. Why am I in cuffs? >> like to still interview you. That's not >> But why am I IN CUFFS? I'M SCARED. WHY ARE YOU [screaming] TOUCHING ME? YOU KNOW WHY. Why is my stuff being seized? You told me I was coming here for an interview. I CAME HERE UNDER FALSE PRETENSES. THAT IS A CASE ITSELF. >> TO GO BACK AND TALK or not? There will be three cases filed in the morning, I promise you. >> Yes or no? Do you want to go Let's go. Let's go to the cage and jail, wherever we're going. I need to make a call. I get one call, I know that much. Okay, I'm parked this way. Okay. I get one call, I know that much. Okay, well shut up. Please do. Do you want to go with him? Do you have something or no? Uh I'm just going >> Do you have any charges for this? No. No. Don't ask me no more questions. >> aggravated battery. I I RESISTED BECAUSE YOU GAVE ME NO REASON. You cannot search ME OR TAKE MY ITEMS WITHOUT GIVING ME NO REASON. SO, that you have a case for. And it wasn't aggravated assault. It was me defending myself when I feel that I'm in harm's way. And that's the situation that you put me in because I thought I was coming for an interview. And now I'm in handcuffs without a phone. I'll pat her down. I'll search her right now. Why would you lie to me? >> I didn't lie to you. You did lie to me. >> not lie to you. You told me he was here when we got here. You told I was doing an interview and you would take me home. Why are you treating me like I'm a criminal? There was a fire at my house. Correct, and that's what you were here for the interview. You said >> Yes! So, stop yelling, okay? I'm going to talk to you. You said you were here for an interview, correct? >> Right. Our detectives come in from Bloomington. I don't know how long it takes them to get here. I get you out of here. >> mad at you. I told you that. >> that. You said you did no longer want to do that interview, right? >> No, CUZ I'M TIRED. I SAID I won't be of much help right now. >> So, that's why you went to the lobby. I was going to take you home. Right. >> At that point, the officer wanted your phone seized. >> You didn't say that. You said he wanted my phone confiscated. You didn't give me that specific reason, ma'am. Cuz you were yelling at me for about 5 minutes, so I couldn't talk to you. >> understanding and I'm asking you the same question. I asked you the same question multiple times and you did not answer me. >> Put your knees in. You didn't answer me one time. Does that not matter to you when I'm sitting here talking to you? >> I tried to talk to you and reason with you. You were just >> reasoning with me. >> And you were just yelling. >> just telling ME AND I'M ASKING you questions like a human being. Please close the door. >> Okay, Taylor. Step out for me. I'm going to grab your I'm going to grab it. The suspect was charged with two counts of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer. Following the incident, she filed a federal lawsuit against Normal Police alleging excessive force. The case remains ongoing with the next hearing scheduled for August of this year. If you enjoyed this video, leave a like and be sure to subscribe. Well, that's one thing you probably going to lose, sister. I don't know about that. You don't know? I don't know about that. I don't necessarily agree, but I don't know whether she going to lose. Let me let me tell you something, though. Mhm. What I was about to say, oh damn, it was on my mind when she was talking. >> Yeah. It was something. But, hold hold let me say this. There is a place called Normal. Yeah. It's in Illinois. Uh is that where they are? Did they say anything about >> I think I think so. Yeah. But I it is it's a Normal. I That was weird. I never seen no place called Normal. >> Neither. That's just like Virginia. >> one thing though. What's that? That there are normal police in the world. >> I know, right? >> [laughter] >> I know, right? Yeah. No, I'm just kidding. That's just like all the Virginia. Yeah, yeah. >> And and you know what's so crazy about all Virginia? The Whittakers live there. They are. They and they they I think they're named that that because >> Of the Whittakers? >> of all those people like that. >> You think it's cuz of the Whittakers? Not just them. >> Just like the whole family? >> part of Virginia is is very suspect. That's all I'm saying. Yeah, I know what you're saying. >> Yeah. Yeah, that Well, I didn't know there was a Normal. Mhm. But but Let me say this though. You know what I'm going to say. Let me let me let me say this first though. Let me say this. >> It's It's I said it in another video one time. The cops don't trust us and we don't trust them. Mhm. So it's like a back and forth thing with black people and cops and cops and black people. >> Mhm. So in my mind it's like when they doing their job, we don't trust them to do their job and they don't trust us uh with how we going to act Mhm. and stuff and erratic and stuff like that and then you know all that stuff. It's like we got to we got to come to a common ground with each other. You get what I'm saying? To learn to just trust each other. That's Do you do you get what I'm saying? Yeah, I get what you're saying. Like we automatically She just said, "You're doing this cuz I'm a black woman." You're doing this cuz I'm a black >> [laughter] >> Don't go cry wolf so much until when something really racist happens, Yes. the courts ain't going to believe you. Right. You know what I'm saying? They telling [clears throat] you "Hey, we need to get your phone. The fire is going to be investigated." They told you 15 times that this thing will be investigated. "We need your phone." We love our phones so much that we are scared to just give them up. Mhm. Because let's be honest, we probably have a Some people have things in their phones they don't want you to see. Some girls like to take pictures and be on OnlyFans, nudies and stuff like that, and talking to dudes and guys, and they don't want you to see their text messages. So, they're so scared >> Mhm. that you're going to see all that stuff and read it until they're like, "Oh, no. Don't I don't want you to see my phone." I get it. >> Mhm. Nobody That's privacy. You don't want nobody knowing your stuff. >> Right. So, I get it. But, if they're telling you, "Hey, this phone is confiscated. I I need to confiscate it for investigation." That's all you had to do. Was that Was that simple? Yeah, I I think it was pretty simple. >> It It was simple then she started just going off. And and then and then she said the black cop said She said, "You lied to me." I'll never forget what I heard a cop say in one of the videos. He says He said, "We, by federal law, are can lie to you Mhm. to prove a point in our investigation" or something like that. >> Mhm. Cops can lie to you. Mhm. Y'all learn to be on TikTok and learn these laws. Y'all need to learn that they can lie to you to get what they need done for the investigation. So, you didn't You didn't know that, Miss Thang. >> [laughter] >> You didn't know You didn't read that part of it. So, of course they are lying to you to do what they need to do. You can't lie to them, which I feel is unfair. Yeah. But, it is what it is. You cannot lie to them. I mean, they can lie to you to get what they need done. Mhm. But, I just >> feel like this was like extra and all you had to do was just listen and here's that word that people don't like, comply. I guess I'm a punk. I I just I I'm never My mind is like, if you ain't doing nothing to hurt me and you just come to do your job, I'm like, yes, sir. All right, do what I need to do. Let me go ahead and just do the invest- let's do our talking. Mhm. If I got to be arrested, okay. Do you know how stuff can can fall in your favor but just being simple? Right. The cops say, you know, he was he was respectful. He let us do what I needed to do. Let's drop those charges. Simple as that. >> Exactly. You don't want to comply. Mhm. You know what I'm saying? I'm a I'm a complier. I'm sorry. Unless I feel like something ain't right. And if ain't something ain't right, I'm going to fight it in the court. I'm saying, no, okay, you go ahead and do your arrest. Later, like she did, I'll come back and do the sue thing later. Mhm. I won't fight the cops. I'm like, come on, do what you got to do. What do you want to add to it? Um in the beginning, I think she was looking for she as the uh young girl. Mhm. She was looking for a particular word or verbage to be used >> Mhm. as to why her phone was being confiscated. Mhm. Police are so um calculated >> Mhm. and strategic. They know not to say certain words to get her down to the place because they know they were going to confiscate her phone. That's why they didn't want to use certain phrases. That's why she said, "But you're not telling me why." Cuz the woman used the exact same phrase over and over instead of saying, "We think you had something to do with it. >> Yep. That's why your phone is being confiscated." >> Right. She did not say those things. Mhm. Because you can't give information >> Right. as an officer. Exactly. >> But that was the thing she was waiting to hear >> to give up her phone. She wasn't going to give up her phone anyways. >> Right. >> [laughter] >> She wanted to Prying a 18-year-old from her phone is damn near like taking away their blood or air. So You you take you take a phone from a kid or the or the iPad or the internet, [laughter] they say they can't live. Yes. Turn that damn internet or Wi-Fi off. They come out the door like, >> [laughter] >> "Oh, I can't make it." And remember our lights was off? Mhm. We made it. Yeah, oh be specific. When the lights went out, we didn't get our lights turned off. Oh yeah, we had a storm. >> No, this YouTube Yeah, you know, yeah. We had a storm. It was like 2 years ago or a year ago. Yeah. >> And our lights went out. Yeah. And man, we made it. We had a we had a little little charger. Like a camp out in the house. Yeah, we was good. Her son >> [laughter] >> "Oh, can I go to the store with you?" He was so bored cuz they they don't know how to make it. We old school. We know how to make it. You know what I'm saying? We probably got to we got to find something to make it with. We going to read books if we got to. >> [laughter] >> But yeah, that's I I feel like cops are so smart. They not going to tell you what what what you want them what you want to hear. They don't use certain things cuz that that'll mess up their investigation. Like for instance, like I be seeing those unalived videos. And the person is telling you they say, "Is that my son? Is that my son?" They say, "Ma'am, just calm down. We get the information soon." It's like they wait to tell you. They don't want to come out and say, "Yeah, your son I'm I'm I'm blunt. Yeah, that was your son. He got shot." Yeah. Cops know, "We give you information. Come on. Let's go sit down and talk." And so, is your son name so-and-so? And when is the last time you seen him? "Can you just tell me if he got unalived or not?" They They They so strategic with these things. Yeah, like that's just that's the way they are. But to the normal police, thank y'all for being normal. >> [laughter] >> And what I want to know though, I want to come back. I want to look her up. This this been 2023. Mhm. So, I know she know something. Now, did she win the case? And was she Did she have something to do with the fire? I want to know that. >> Yeah. That's what I was going to get try and get to. Um I think that they probably have put things together. Mhm. Um I don't know whether she was when they say there was a fire at my house, I don't know whether she was at her own house, like moved out 18, got her own house slash apartment or whatever. Uh-huh. Or I thought it was like a dorm. >> Me, too. And she I don't know why in my vision I was thinking she was at a dorm. I don't know why. That was the police station, but that was just weird that I just thought she was at a dorm or school. Sometimes your mind paints a picture that's not even there. I was just thinking school. She's at school or whatever. So, the the police got her down to the police station. >> that's the police station? Yes. It's That's the normal police We saw it right there, right? I was just Didn't you think that that was she was at a school or >> Yeah. Yeah. I thought it was a dorm. >> [laughter] >> She was at the police station. >> Yeah, she was at the police station. So, um that's why sometimes when you go back and look at things, you get things wrong, like if somebody ask you questions, cuz your brain tries to go with the most logical thing. >> Right. So, now we'll say, "Where was the girl at when I saw her? Um she was at uh a library." She wasn't at a library. She was at a bookstore, but you just saw books. Yep. And you know, you get the things wrong. But, anyway, so because of all of this happening, the way that the police phrased it, they got her down there to take her phone or confiscate her phone, because I believe they think that she has something to do with the fire. So, that's that's another reason why they skirted around or skated around the fact that they were taking her phone. They didn't want to say that. But, I do want to know again, is this was 2023 if whether still ongoing in still 2026 >> Uh-huh. whether or not she won the lawsuit. And the reason why I said I don't know whether I agree with you whether or not she was going to lose is because with the right lawyer they can find just a way any loophole to >> true. say, "Oh, police didn't do that. Oh, you didn't read her rights before you put the handcuff, you know?" So, Yeah, they'll find something. >> Yeah, so that's why I said she may or may not have won her. I want to look up cuz I want to see cuz it she may as they said it's ongoing 2026. Is it still ongoing? Well, I said 2026 because it's right now when we're watching the video, but I don't know when it was released. Yeah, I I want to see did she win it? Or did what she did she have something to do with that fire? Mhm. Yeah, but y'all come to the comments. Let us know what y'all think about this one. Um we'd love to discuss these thing things. For the people that say we talk too much, thank you. >> [laughter] >> We are doing our job. >> Yep. Cuz we're discussing it. >> Yes. Body Cam Vibes. Imagine being a channel named Body Cam Vibes Discussions and you have no discussions. >> [laughter] >> Until next time. Don't get caught slipping. Okay.
