She had sent me a text that she was going to be on the phone right >> with her boyfriend some privacy. My husband wasn't here. My mother was actually in the back room anyway reading. So it didn't matter. It was only me. And so I didn't bother to him. I was cleaning up the vomit. Otherwise, I would have been the one kicked in the stomach. >> Okay. >> But she kicked him in the stomach multiple times. But that's because she was drunk and high. >> Okay. >> And now she's not so high. >> All right. >> But you can see the eyes though. I know you have a concern and I don't plan on [ __ ] drinking and I plan on continuing my IOP. >> July 28th, 2024 around 3:30 p.m. Clifton, New Jersey. A mother called 911 and said, "My daughter is out of control. She's screaming, throwing things around the house, and she just kicked her father in the stomach." The girl's name is Elizabeth Callahan, age 19. But this wasn't the first time Elizabeth had caused chaos at home. When police arrived, the mother was shaking, neighbors were scared, and Elizabeth, she claimed, "I didn't do anything. My mom is lying. But after officers spoke with everyone in the house, it was clear this wasn't just a family argument. It was an emotional breakdown. A family that had lost all hope in their own daughter. >> Hey, how good. How are you?" >> I'm okay. Well, good, Mom. >> Hello. Hello. >> Well, so >> how we doing? I mean, so I came home from work. She had actually she had actually Yeah, you guys know >> she had sent me a text that she was going to be on the phone >> with her boyfriend some privacy. My husband wasn't here. My mother was actually in the back room anyway, so it didn't matter. It was only me and so I didn't bother. But I would say oh a good 45 minutes later at least maybe even an hour I was going up to do some laundry >> and I couldn't hear a thing. I knocked and it was pitch black. I knocked quietly. I opened the door. She was naked under the covers covered in vomit. There was vomit on both sides of the bed. The back of the bed, the wall, all the clothes, the comforter stuff in the hamper. Okay. >> I mean just light all over her. I couldn't. It took me I would say at least four minutes to try to get anything and then she just grabbed the covers. Okay, >> that was after 5 minutes, but then wouldn't say anything. I tried to get her eyes open and they didn't. When she finally fussed at me, no, it was more than 10 minutes later. Then the eyes, they were twitching. They went to the back of her head and she still >> refused to answer. And of course, as you know, there is well, as you know, there is an attorney involved. There are charges involved. So, she has she was explained for 90 minutes between recovery like a facility and she was given the choice. >> Remember last month you guys were going the one, right? >> A 5day >> detox. You guys are going up on the road up there. >> Yes. Well, then Yeah. But the problem is that she was actually and then nonresponsive. Yeah. and she died. So there Yeah, it >> I never died. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Okay. Well, she was totally nonresponsive. She had whatever. >> The bottom line is she Okay. So, her let's just put it this way. Her livers had failed and her pancreas had failed. They were all in red. Instead of it being 30 to 40, it was 450. >> Oh, wow. Okay. >> Okay. Yeah, that's right. Number five. >> Alcohol. Blood alcohol. >> And the blood alcohol was 445 and the day before that it was 0.5. So, that is dead coma. the night that you saw us sir >> that day. >> Okay. >> That night >> that day and then the next day it was basically >> it was even higher. Right. So >> the bottom line is she is extremely sick. We are grateful for the progress but uh today so there was >> we don't know what she's on >> a fall but we don't know what she's on. That's the problem. So I when I open the door I could smell. >> Is there anything different than the normal medication she takes? because I remember you were telling me she takes >> Yeah, those are all the herbal stuff. >> The bottom line is that just so you know, almost two full hours ago now she was given an opportunity to go and they were ready for her. They're actually still ready for her. They would love to see freehold. >> Nope. This is a place in No, cuz she needs >> she needs to be in a detox now, right? Not she was doing intensive outpatient and freehold. Yes. Where she was today actually. >> Okay. So she could go to a detox in a facility right now where they are expecting her or it was being transported to the hospital. She refuses to go to the facility. Okay. >> And so it's either the facility and they are waiting for her in South Amboy or you are taking her to Jersey Shore. And I'm sorry but you do have to take her to Jersey Shore because you know the track record. You know what Mammoth Medical Center did and stole her property. Sorry. and the so she has to have this. >> I got you. >> Is that okay, sir? >> I'm sorry. >> Wherever you guys want her to go. >> Can I speak with her alone? >> Of course. Yeah. But so if you guys just want to >> just so you know, do you want to like go in the kitchen? Obviously, we're not going to allow her upstairs because there >> I'd rather go. You want us to go in the kitchen? Yeah. What? I'll go upstairs. Wait, my phone is >> I will go wherever you want. You want me? You guys, you guys could just wait in the kitchen with the door shut, please. Thank you. >> Sure. >> Appreciate it. >> Yeah, you Oh, you're coming with us. >> All right, we know how how it is between you and your pants. So, what's up? >> Do you need first aid? >> Look, Sergeant. >> No, not Sergeant yet. >> I know. >> Okay. >> You know, I was going to call you that. >> Yeah, I know what's going on. I know how I was last month. >> You're a lot better. You're definitely doing a lot better. >> I'm not doing that way right now. >> Okay. What are you What are you trying to do? >> They want to kick me out. >> Okay. So, can I ask you this real quick? What What did you take? Anything that we need to be worried about? >> No. >> Okay, that's all I just want to know cuz we have first aid here. Do you want first? >> I want to worry myself. >> No, I got you. And that's good. >> So, do you want first aid to come and look at you just with everything going on? They just take your vitals real quick and then you could say, "No, >> there's literally no need to." >> Okay. >> I mean, they can if they want to. They're going to see my pulse is high, but when is it not? You know, >> I know you got a lot going on here. >> So, you want to just come in real quick, check your vitals and stuff like that so we can uh figure out what our next step would be >> if they really want to. >> All right. I think that would be for the best. Yeah. >> Okay. So, you're doing good. >> Yeah. >> I know. It's just hard. It's It's hard. >> Yeah. But it's not as hard as you think. >> That's good. That's good. So, what made you throw up? I don't know. >> You don't know? >> Yeah. >> So, what do you think our best option would be for tonight? >> Well, >> do you think we should try the South AM boy thing? >> What is South Amboy? >> I guess another facility or something like that. You think that'll be >> No. >> Would you like to go to the hospital then so they could check you out? >> No. I was going to offer to pay for a hotel for a night or two. like how that was one of my deals one of the other times just cuz I've been to impatient for so long. >> Yeah. >> And I've been doing so well. >> You have been doing well. You seem a lot calmer than when I've dealt with you in the past. >> I know >> you're doing good. You're on the right track. >> Well, cuz I've been I've been doing good. But >> yeah, >> the thing and we even talk about it in groups like >> family not being able to understand. >> Okay. Yeah. So, we're going to have them check you out real quick. They'll take all your vitals and everything. You'll just let them know what kind of medications and stuff like that. Okay. And then we'll we'll go from there on figuring out what our next step will be. All right. We'll take it in steps. All right. Sound good? Sure. Okay, >> you got the rest of it. >> Hi, this is Joe and Mario. They're one of the best. >> I can guarantee you I have a high heart rate. >> Having a rough night. >> No, I just always have a high heart rate literally no matter when I've ever taken my poles. Um Joe, you want to take Mario and they can explain her medical history then? >> Mario, you want to go with you speak with the parents? >> Just take deep breaths. All right, Elizabeth. I know there's a lot going on. >> Pip. >> No, just close that. Yeah, a little bit high. >> What is it? >> 128. >> Well, it's not that bad. >> Not too bad. >> Yeah. >> What's it usually? >> What's it usually? >> Honestly, congratulations. >> No, cuz I know it's usually up in the 140s. >> Nostrous. >> No. >> Wow. Oh, that's such >> like I said, it's a lot different than usually when we're here >> cuz you're doing better. >> Yeah, I feel like I am. >> You look like you're doing better. >> Thank you. >> I just want to make sure we keep going. You know, we can't stop. >> No, we are. >> Yeah. So that's why I was I was suggesting whether we go to the facility that your mom was talking about so we keep it going because I think honestly in my opinion if you go to a hotel room by yourself I don't want to be worrying about that all night long. You know >> that was the camera right here. That was the camera. Um, >> I don't want to worry about you having a a problem by yourself and no one's there to help and stuff like that. Okay. So, that's why we were thinking whether you either go to the facility just so someone's there to help you keep going or we take >> Well, the last time I went to a hotel room for two nights by myself, it really helped. >> I know, but you got to know where I'm coming from cuz we've come in contact now a couple times, you know. And I've seen you at your worst and I'm seeing you at your best. Now >> this is not the best >> that I've seen. This is the best that I've seen. >> You know, >> you maybe so that's why I was thinking you or even if we just go to the hospital just so they check everything out just go to Walmart. >> I don't know if we're going to be able to do that. We got to see what's going on. Okay. So, we'll see what's going on. We'll see. Uh, what's your opinion with her vitals and everything? Everything okay? >> Going to take her blood pressure. Okay. Can I take it? >> Yeah. >> Can you roll up one of your sleeves and then I'll do it? >> Uh, I guess when the rig is here, just have >> Yeah, I'll have them wait outside person come in and just do paperwork. >> Yep. >> That's it. You remember me, Joseph Santoro? >> Okay. Cuz I grew out my hair, so it's I kind of look a bit different. So, >> I play guitar now, so I'm like, I got to grow it out. I got to fix the rocker vibe. >> I stink at guitar, but at least I got the looks for that. I have one more time. Can I straighten out your arm? >> Thank you. Perfect. 74. Dispatch, the rig's >> 10 94. >> The rig is >> 10 9 days. And then she was pitched out. And so now we made another >> kind of hard to hear. >> Is that usual for you? >> Um I don't think so. >> Hold on. >> I'm going to try feeling it and I'll do it this way. >> Okay, there we go. I feel >> I'm just going to have them get one person in here to do the stuff. Good evening. >> Good evening. We just need uh just one person to do her paperwork. I don't think she's going to go to the hospital or anything like that. >> They getting vitals already. >> Yeah, Joseph's doing it now. >> All right. >> I don't know. Pressure water. Um, not as much as I usually am. >> Okay. Maybe not. >> Elizabeth, she's just going to take some basic information. Your name, date of birth, and stuff like that. Okay. >> One second. Hey guys. Do you guys mind just coming in and checking her vitals and stuff? >> Yep, we can do that. >> She's calm. She's on the steps. We separated her from her parents. Everyone's It's a calm situation right now. Uh she's clearly have to go to the hospital or >> the parents want we're not that far yet. We're going to find out. The parents want her to go, but she's saying >> I know what they know. >> Yeah, exactly. Yeah. So, um we convinced her to let you guys come and just check her vitals and everything. We know she's in talks somehow. She's not saying what, but she said that's usually what it is. Yeah. But she we said like, "Anything we need to be desperately worried about right now?" She was like, "No, definitely not." Okay. So, thank you. >> Thanks. >> Okay. >> Yeah. So, we're going to have them check you out real quick. We'll take all your vitals and everything. We just let them know what kind of medications and stuff like that. Okay. And then we'll we'll go from there on figuring out what our next step will be. All right. We'll take it in steps. >> All right. Sound good? >> Okay. >> Hi. >> This is Joe and Mario. They're one of the best. >> Nothing. I can guarantee you I have a high heart rate. Having a rough night? >> No, I just always have a high heart rate. Literally, no matter when I've ever taken my pulse. >> Um Joe, you want to take Mario and explain her medical? >> Yeah. Mario, you want to see your laptop on your lap? >> Just take some breath. All right, Elizabeth. I know there's a lot going on there. Hello. Remember the first aid here. If you want to just explain Elizabeth's good >> medication again. >> Hey, how are you? >> Good. How are you? >> I think the door has to be shut. >> Yeah. What happened last time that we could do it? >> So, the last time when you and I were in the ambulance together, her blood alcohol was five something. So, she was literally dead in a coma. That's five. The next day we had to call I called you guys again. Oh, no. The day that the night that we drove, I don't remember, honey. There have been way too many calls. All I can tell you is the last two times of the book, it was.5 something and 445 that morning. That is death and coma. That's what it is. >> They understand. >> Yeah, you guys know that better. So now, so I I can smell the I came home from work. She was naked in her bed, covered in vomit. The bedding was covered. The floor is covered in throw up, clothes all over the floor, more stuff in the hamper, which I had just done this morning. So, whenever some her eyes were twitching back to the head when I could finally try to get her going, >> I'm pretty sure, >> well, she's got mar she has marijuana in her fanny pack with a vape pen. She's also ridiculously addicted to vodka, as you know. if there's any right now that I don't know. She did do intensive outpatient therapy today where she is she would have been tested for stuff, but this all happened in the afternoon after 2:05 p.m. >> after she was released from the operation. >> Well, it's it's it's a 10 to 2 program with lunch. So, she was there from 10 to 2. I don't know if she did it >> before she left. My mother was the one actually who picked her up and brought her home. But sadly, uh, she actually asked my mother if she would be allowed to drive the car. She's not allowed to drive our cars because she has crashed two of them. >> And then we learned, um, Labor Day weekend that she had driven drunk multiple times. So, thank God she hasn't killed people or herself. But the bottom line is she put her life in jeopardy today, my mother's life in jeopardy, and I don't know who all else. So, she needs to go to the Jersey Shore Hospital. Period. Unless you guys are going to be able to get her willing. She is. There is a bed that they have lined up for her at RCA, which is Recovery Centers of America. South Amway Southway. >> It's right in South Amboy. I have the address. If you can get her to She was the attorney. >> Her attorney attorney. >> Her I thought I said her. >> Her attorney cuz you probably don't know this, but there are charges from other things. She's right. No. So because of that situation, she was given very graciously >> she was but she was given over 90 minutes in this house to go to South Amboy where they are they were actually expecting her 20 minutes ago. >> But they're happy to be late. They would rather her get they would honestly everybody would prefer her to go straight to there now >> than the ER because if you go to the ER >> well mom is way worse. >> No no but both of them >> that's right you're going to be in and out there. >> I have the address of Southampton boy. If you're willing to get her there I will pay whatever I have to. Maybe you can help her get in our I don't know. Are you guys allowed to take her to Southampton? No, we are not allowed to do you guys to get her in our car willingly and my husband. >> That's going to take some talking. That's what we're going to try to do. >> Okay. Because obviously, >> we want her to save herself. >> We don't want to have more charges. We don't want to have Right. She's 22. And I know you don't know this. >> I didn't really tell you a lot, but there are some very heinous and horrific traumas. She has to get help and get therapy to work through them, >> but you have to first be like sober and whatever. So, at least she did do successfully detox. She made 18 days >> and then she was pitched out. >> Yeah. >> And so, and now we made another week actually I guess almost to the day. So, but it does take time and of course a lot of love. >> It's a process. It's a process and obviously the right part of the process is not >> to go to the ER. It would be to go up there and they are they would very much love to have her. >> It's not like she's going away being locked up in the facility, right? It's better than going to jail >> and Right. And they these people know what to do. >> Yeah. >> And they would love to have and we've already made all the phone calls. They know everything about the insurance. They have everything. They are expecting her. I will hopefully. I mean, >> so that's going to be our goal. Obviously, try to get her done >> and it's called RCA. It is in South Amboy. It's recovery centers >> and and you know how to get there >> for America. Well, I actually I have the address. >> Yeah, I understand. >> Definitely. I would avoid Jersey or any anybody. >> Definitely not going to mammoth medical center. I can tell you that right now. >> I can't do that because they don't have cycling. We can't do that. It has to be Jersey Shore. The only place that she could possibly go >> that can >> convince her to go with hopefully at this time my husband's gonna drive. I don't want her to even have the phone because she hasn't earned having her phone. >> I don't I don't give one excuse. >> Do they let them have the phone in the facility? Do you know? >> I doubt it. Not on detox. Of course not. No. That's the whole >> But you know what? That's not my problem. No, of course. But no, I mean, it's not my problem that she wants to hook up with one of multiple guys tomorrow and she screwed it up. It's happened time and time and time again. >> Mhm. >> And this guy is is my age >> and married with kids. Okay. >> Well, that's what she's been telling us. trunk. You You can let them know they need to take her to the hospital because she can't Right. She can't stay in the house or Right. or the facility. Right. >> So, they say she needs to go to the hospital. >> No, >> no, no, no. They're saying, well, first they wanted the FAC. I'm just talking to different Sorry, this is the attorney. >> Gotcha. Gotcha. Gotcha. Uh I should you drive a 3day bypass all emergency rooms. That's another >> trauma that she goes through. Not needed. Not >> needed. It's pretty opposite. Has a a fantasy. >> Yeah. Okay. So where I save the Here's the address. >> I I have the address. >> Where the devil's the I asked him to send it. >> Yeah. There it is. You have it. 901. Well, why didn't you say that when I asked? E R. >> You didn't ask me. >> Okay. Um, >> it's 23 minutes away by car. >> So, you should know the only other thing that the attorney is saying is that we don't spend a lot of time reasoning. If she's not going to go to the facility, then she's going to the ER and she can Because we have we don't know what we don't know what she's on. >> We know she's addicted to vodka. We know she's addicted to marijuana. Wait a second. It raped. When I came in, it rireed. >> Well, it smelled like vodka. She was sleeping. >> But it also but she was naked covered in vomit. She's still covered in vomit. Her room was covered in vomit. >> Close her nose. There was a vape pen in the thing. Ven doesn't do that to you. >> Marijuana does not rape. Yeah, marijuana is not. >> So, I don't know what the amount is, but I know that time is a but we're not crawling all over the house again like we did that one night. This is it. You I don't care what your time limit is, but you should know that for over 2 hours. >> We mistakenly tried to reason with her. The attorney said there is no reason. It's She has been given almost two She has been given over 2 hours. >> Mhm. Has she drinken any water, eaten anything since you found her with the vomit? No. >> Nothing. So, she hasn't Okay. >> Nothing. She was I couldn't get her a response. >> Yeah. >> She's telling you all kinds of lies right now. I couldn't get a response. >> Okay. >> At all. >> When I finally I tried to pull the eyes open, the eyes they did flutter flood twitches went way in the back of her head. She couldn't even get up. >> Yeah. >> It took her 90 minutes before she could actually sit up. And she was still then when I got then my husband and I were dealing with her, her eyes were still fletching and twittering and flying in the back of her head and all over the place. >> She is way out of there on a kite >> or whatever they call it. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> But um this is I'm sorry, but this is the at the police will care. >> See, she's not in a position to decide. This is the attorney saying this is so sadly can I let you excuse me? You need to go tell him it's it's enough. >> If she he doesn't want any more reasoning with her. She is not in the state to be reasoned with. She's not allowed to make any decisions. If she's choosing not to go to the facility, it's to the hospital. Period. >> Okay. So, let us talk to her and then we'll try to get >> There's no more time. I'm not telling you how to do your job. I'm >> I know. We just don't want to agitate make the situation worse. for us. Okay. >> Quite quickly. >> That's what I'm saying. So, we got to >> No, no, no. I know. I just want you to know that wasn't me. >> I know. I know. Okay. All right. So, just give us a couple minutes. All right. Thank you. >> So, yeah, if you guys need like a two week vacation, I say slam boo yourself into Cherry Hill. >> Take the two weeks off. >> Yeah. I'll be right back. All right. >> Mhm. just in case. >> How you guys doing? >> Good. How are you? >> Good. So, they she still has the room at the Yeah. >> And they're saying do our best to convince her to go. >> The attorney is pressing the parents to just >> give her an ultimatum right now because of all the charges and everything, saying if you don't go there, you're going to the hospital right now to the emergency room. So, the mom is kind of pressing. I told her, "Let us talk to her. Try to get her to willingly go to South Amboy before we make anything worse." >> That's the rehab. >> That's the rehab facility. Yeah. They said, the mom is saying to have a bed ready. She was supposed to be there, I think, 45 minutes ago. They were expecting her, but they said that they'll accept her admit her late and everything cuz obviously they'd rather her be there than not go at all. Yeah. So, I told her, "Just give us some time. Let us try to convince her to willingly go." Yeah. So, I don't know. Yeah. How's it been in there? >> She's fine. She's doing a lot better. It seems Yeah. >> Okay. We'll let you guys know. Thank you. Couldn't figure out how to get out. So, I do know them like that. Sometimes >> I still have a golden. I don't know if you remember him. I'm not sure you ever saw him. >> Yeah. I don't know. >> Uh he's like 13 now. He's pretty old. >> So, he's kind of white. >> Yeah. >> They get that that muzzle. >> Yeah. The face is all white. The paws are all white. Sad. Missy's getting gray hair in her body now. I've never noticed before in any other cat. >> She's getting older spreading that gray hair. >> They have hair everywhere. >> How old are your dogs? >> My dog Daisy, the one that kept looking away, is like seven and a half. >> Okay. And the darker one that kept looking at us is like three and a half. >> Okay. So pretty though. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> So RCA said the parents cannot transport her there. >> The parents can. >> No. If they if she's going to go to RCA, they will have to send a car to pick her up here. >> Ra. They will be able to do that tonight, >> right? Yes. >> So, whatever we decide, it's like one of you had to stay here. >> Yes. >> Say they were sending someone now. >> If we make the right once you make the decision, we'll let them know, right? >> All right. So, yeah, we'll try to talk to see what happens. All right. Thank you. He was a boxer. Yeah. But I remember mom was like so worried I would play soccer. She thought I would catch something walking through the field cuz it was just disgusting. Oh man. [Music] All right, Elizabeth. This is where we're at. So I guess your parents talked to your attorney that you're using with everything going on. He's thinking that your best bet is to go to the facility at South Avoid. They'll send someone here to pick up so mom doesn't have to take you. >> Mhm. >> And one of us will wait here with you until you go. >> Yeah. I heard them talking about that, but I'm not doing that. >> Why not? >> Because don't you think that would be the best for you instead of sitting? >> I've done a lot of it. I have plans for tomorrow. 8477 >> for tomorrow. For what? >> For my day, >> I like to do stuff. >> Yeah. >> Okay. But >> that I haven't been able to do in over a month. >> Yeah, I I get it. But it's just, you know, where we're at and you're doing so well. >> We don't want to take a step back, you know. >> No. >> What? I said I don't know. >> That's why I'm thinking this might be our best move instead of sit. You don't want to sit in a hospital, >> right? >> Yeah. I'm not going to sit in the hospital. Do I need to pack my bags to go to a hotel tonight? >> We can go to a hotel tonight. That's not really the option that we have. >> So, we can have, like I said, if we make the call right now, if you disagree with us and go over to that facility, I don't know how long it is. I can't tell you. uh a time cuz I don't want a lot of you. >> Okay. And they'll set you up there. We'll go through that and then we'll take the next step. >> Sound good? >> Not going to another place >> cuz it would be either that or the hospital. That's what the attorney think is the best at this point because of everything else that went on prior. >> Yeah, but if that's what they think is best and then my parents just don't want me being here tonight, then I can just get my stuff and leave. >> No, it's this. >> All right. So, you're not going to the hospital, right? Cuz I don't want to keep these guys anymore longer than we have to. Oh. Oh, yeah. If you need to. >> So, you don't want to go to the hospital? >> No. >> Okay. So, we'll do that. We'll start it there. So, if she needs to sign her >> RMA, >> we'll do that. >> We'll work it in steps. >> Just Just do me a favor and consider it for the facility leading point while we're standing here. Like I said, we'll wait until you go. just so we know you're good to go and everything like that. Okay. So, what you're gonna sign here is just saying you don't want to go to the hospital. And all you have to do is use your finger and put it in right there. So, she's not really I'm trying to push the facility for >> Hang on a second. >> Wait. Now, here are the cops. Wait, hold. This is the attorney. What? I just I I have to be able to hear what you're going to say. >> I'm trying my hardest without getting her riled up for the the facility. She said she's not doing that. >> So, take her to the ER. She has to immediately go to the hospital. >> But we can't force her to go to the hospital. >> You have to because she kicked she kicked my husband in the stomach repeatedly and tried to grab me. >> Why didn't you tell us that when we got here? >> Uh because I was actually funny. I didn't even think about it. But I Well, we had first waited for a bit. she had finally come down the stairs cuz she was totally naked. I was quite frankly I was more very much more concerned on the amount of alcohol and weed and non-responsiveness just because we've been dealing with high alcohol. >> Listen, I've I've been here through it all. >> No, right. And and I think were you here the day that she was blacked out on the couch? I mean, she's punched out a tooth. She had all of her hair, >> as you know, two feet cut. Bottom line is I Steve, you can either listen or call me back. The bottom line is if she's That's fine. If she's not going to go to the facility, then she has to go to the ER or Well, I mean, you can't take her to Well, you can take her to jail, but she's going to need detox meds. I mean, >> we're we're trying to avoid that situation cuz I don't think that's the best. >> Yeah, situation right now. >> I don't think it is right now either cuz we >> we're trying cuz she is doing well. that we've seen. She's doing better. >> She's doing better. That's right. Well, right. >> The last three or four times ago. Yeah. The last five since the last five times that I've called you. That's right. >> Um that's why >> Yes, sir. But the bottom line is she has to go to the ER cuz she needs meds. This is our attorney >> who can just put them on speaker. Oh. Um to witness it. >> Yeah, I'm just going to put her. I thought it would be smart enough to fill in her name, but no. You can witness >> either one. Yeah, it doesn't matter. >> Cuz you did the paperwork. So, >> Elizabeth, have you ever gone to a facility before like and stayed there overnight? How long were you there for? >> 19 days. >> 19 days. And how was it? >> Was it the same one as the South Amboy one or was it a different place? Um, no. It was a different place. >> Do you know where it was? >> Cherry Hill. >> Cherry Hill. >> Did you How was it there? >> It wasn't too bad, but it was kind of bad. >> So, our thought process with this is I think I think I've only met you maybe once. You're much more familiar with state officer uh Felicia over there. But he even said that you've come a long way since the first couple times meeting him. And I we'd like to think a lot of that has to do with the facility and the outpatient stuff that you've been in. So the thought process is if you go to this facility willingly, obviously no one's forcing you to do anything, but willingly you'll get even take another forward step. So that way we could try to put all this behind us for good and not have to keep revisiting and keep taking step backwards, forward, backwards, forward. That way if we think by doing this we'll take that permanent step forward. So where you could actually begin to live your life how you want to live it. >> You know what I'm saying? That's kind of our thought process behind it. Why we're trying to >> like I said, not force you to do anything, but with everything going on. >> We think that was definitely the best move at this point in time to be able to move on from this in the quickest way possible, safest way possible, cuz that's at the end of the day what everybody wants, right? We want everybody to be safe and we want to put all this behind us. And we think by doing by you doing this, going to that facility, >> I think that will be the best and quickest way to get there. And like you said, you have you want to have plans tomorrow and stuff like by doing this for the however long it takes, you'll be in a position to be able to carry out any plans you want without having to worry about this >> permanently. do what you think is best, Elizabeth. It sounds like he's got some good suggestions. >> But I haven't dealt with you before. So, >> I do need to go to my plans tomorrow. >> Okay. Were you willing to go to the care facility after that? Are your plans in the morning? Are they in that afternoon? >> If I relapse after that, that's fair. But if I don't, then I think that's not fair. Okay. So, >> I don't know if that makes sense. >> Explain that to me real quick one more time. >> So, if you real So, you're saying from tomorrow, >> if I do my plan, and this is pretty much Rose earlier. If I do my plans tomorrow and I come home and I stay sober, then I don't need to go somewhere. But if I come home after doing my plans and I'm like, "Oh, I'm going to start drinking again." Then it's like, "Okay." Yes. Where you have to call someone because you obviously can't control yourself kind of deal. >> I don't Does that make sense? >> That makes sense. No, I I understand that. But our concern now is with that is if you're in a state of intoxication, you're not going to want to go >> and just going to be back to square one, which is what I'm trying to explain, which is what we don't want to do and keep taking steps backwards. No, I I understand that, but I I >> you know, so why don't we sec >> knock? Would you like to try to Oh, sorry. Officer, I just >> Would you like to talk to Steve one more time? Is this Steve? >> You just talk to Steve. >> Do you want to talk to your attorney again? >> Okay. Because it's >> All right. So, Elizabeth, it's Steve. What I want you to do is go to the hospital. The police are going to take you there. so that you can get the medical help that you need cuz all this drinking is just, you know, a battery to kill you. So, I'd like you to go with them and then we can talk tomorrow, you and I, about what the next step will be. I'm hoping it'll be a treatment center. All right? But it makes no sense health-wise for you to stay where you are in the house and your parents can't have you there in this condition. So, please go willingly with the police, go to the hospital, and I'll talk to you tomorrow. Okay. >> Okay. Well, there's no answer. So, so no. So, that is the end, >> right? Well, you can the eyes aren't quite >> That's the point though. >> Well, yeah. And so, >> please go back in the room, please. Thank you. >> That's all in the kitchen. Thank you, guys. Shut the door, please. >> Thank you. I listen I >> so again with the whole facility I think that's a much better move than going to the hospital tonight for your future because the hospital is only going to lead to possible backward steps which we just spoke of which is what relapse and that's what we're trying to avoid so that you could get on with your life and live it how you want to and be able to make plans without having to worry about any of this worry about interacting with us fighting with your parents and we think you going to that facility will help all that. >> But I'm not going anywhere tonight. I didn't do anything wrong. >> I know. But they're concerned for your health. >> I technically just can't stay here. >> But they're concerned for your health. That's the bottom line. >> I know. >> I know. >> I am too, obviously. >> So, one of the two options are going to have to happen tonight. I will go to a hotel. >> That's not one of the two options. >> Why not? I didn't do anything else. >> I understand that. But we have >> Why isn't one of the options? >> Because the hotel of you being by yourself, I explained earlier. It's not the best option for you. And we're looking at the best options for you. >> Which one's a option? That one's Daisy. The lighter one. >> Daisy. >> Becky. >> Becky. Becky. >> Hi, Daisy. >> The hotel part's really on. >> Yes, it is. >> No, it's not. >> And me and you both know that. And >> like I said, one of us will wait here for that person to come and pick you up. >> Who? >> For the facility. You could either one of us. Yeah, >> we'll wait for it. >> And that way you don't have to stay here like that. And >> I'm not doing that. >> Why not? >> I'm either staying here or going to a hotel. >> Well, they're worried about it if you stay here. >> So, it's either the facility or the hospital. They know you don't want >> here or a hotel. Now see what I just said. It's either the facility or the hospital. What are we thinking? >> You even said you even said when you went somewhere last time you enjoyed it. You didn't want to be there, but you enjoyed it. >> I'm not going back. I just got out and I've been so relieved to get out. >> I know, but look what I did. It's helping. Right. We're here till 7:00 a.m. So, we're not in a rush. >> I was going to say, to be honest, if you wanted me to deal with you, then I should be very intoxicated. Cuz right now, all I want to do is take a shower. Hi Becky. See Becky's Becky agrees with us. [Music] Hey, cookie. Hey, T. Bless you. >> God bless you, Daisy. >> What are we thinking? >> About what? >> Our next step. I was thinking about putting my laundry in the washing machine and taking a shower. Hi, Cookie. >> What? >> You know what? >> We need to make a decision. >> We can't stay here and we can't take you to a hotel. And why can't you take me to a hotel? >> Because the best bet right now is either to go to the facility, which they still said they're holding your bed. >> So, it's a best bet. So, I will leave the house then. It'll be out of your hands. >> Have I ever complained about coming here? >> No. >> Once have I ever complained about coming here? >> Nope. have ever complained about talking to you on the side of the road up on Tulle in Clover Lane. >> Clover Hill, right? And when we went up there, when we were up there, everything worked out. You got to trust me on this one that it's going to work out. >> Okay. So, I'll pack my stuff and then call my ride and then >> Your ride for the facility, correct? Not a ride to a hotel. >> Sure. I like the way you word heard that. I'll go pack right now. >> No, I'm serious. Cuz we're going to call. Elizabeth, stay down here. >> Cuz we're calling. >> We're going to call the rod cuz we know who we're calling. >> But you guys don't need to bring me anywhere. >> Yeah. We need to figure it out whether it's going to be the hospital or the facility. We could call the ride from the facility and then we could one of us will stay with you. You could shower, get your stuff together and that way, like we said, you don't have to interact. Go upstairs. Okay. Or one of us could take you to the hospital. >> We know you don't want to go to the hospital. >> All three of us wouldn't want to go to the hospital. Cuz like I said before, you've been down that road before. We've all been down that road before. And that just leads to a step backwards, not truly a step forward, which is what this point >> hospitals are pain in the asses, >> right? >> I know that night we went to mom and dad, it wasn't great. channels. >> Can we make that call to the facility to have someone come? Elizabeth, hold on. >> Nope. Elizabeth, come here. >> Hello. >> Elizabeth, come down here. >> Come on, Elizabeth. >> Elizabeth, come on. Where you going? No, I said no. We're not doing this again. I'm sorry. No, I'm sorry. But no, this is our house. You heard from the attorney. This is not happening again. She can't because of what she has drunk, which we don't know how much marijuana she's had, which we don't know it. She cannot be here and she can't be with you because we don't have the medication and the detox. So, just like you guys were told, we are worried obviously for her safety. And you know why? Because of more things than what you know about. >> I said if you gave me my phone, I would >> I'm sorry, but you have been told that you have to take her to the hospital. We told you which one because of it. So this is my husband in my house. >> This is how it goes. Now >> you've been told she has been you you guys have been told to go. You do have to do detox. >> We're passing out through >> the bottom line is but this can't happen. She was totally blacked out in her vomit, right? I mean look >> the comforter. >> Look. Oh well. Now I have Do you want me to bring it out of the laundry room? Pat, can you go get the >> This can't keep going on. You even You were told by the attorney and us. There's no more negotiating now, right? I don't know how much alcohol and weed is in her system. She hasn't told me the truth. Her eyes were twitching for over 90 minutes. I couldn't even get them to look at me. >> That's not true. >> It is true. >> No, >> it is true, Elizabeth. >> It's true, Elizabeth. You were laying here. Look at that. I mean, enough. >> Elizabeth, let's go to the hospital and we'll >> ask her. If she's not going to go willingly, you heard what the attorney said, then you're going to have to cuff her. She's not going to die here. >> There's no >> I don't know what she's going to take. She's not going to die here. >> She's going to die. >> Yeah. Okay. Do you want to see the hamper, sir? >> I see it right there. >> You don't want to smell this? >> Elizabeth, let's just go to the hospital. Let's go. Come on. I'm trying here. We're trying to do the right thing with helping you out, but you're not helping us out. So, let's go. >> I don't need to go to the hospital. No, I don't. >> Come on, then. Let's go to the facility. >> I don't need to go there either. I just did that. >> Okay. Well, we're going to have to go again. One of the two. That's it. I'm trying to be nice and trying to trying to get you to do what you got to do, but you're not helping us out. I didn't do anything wrong that would require me to have those kinds of options. >> Do me a favor. Just leave that down. What is >> water? >> Just put it just put it on the thing for now. No, thank you. I would like you to start doing what we're telling you to do. >> That might be water. I mean, the bottom line is but she you can't reason. >> I mean, please. It's like they said, you don't know what she's on. So the more hours this goes by, >> go call Ward. >> I don't know the situation. >> So like I mean that's if she doesn't >> you want to go willingly Elizabeth, but you have the option to go to the facility or the cops. You refused to go to the facility. You said call the cops. Here they are. But now if you don't go willingly right now, they're going to handcuff you. There's no reason >> you have to have medication. You heard from the Elizabeth, you've been told by Mr. There is no more naked. >> I wasn't sleeping. >> You were naked. You were naked in your vomit. >> And you can't vomit from Can you vomit from marijuana? >> You can vomit from anything. >> Oh, I I don't do Okay. But usually she doesn't vomit from being high. It's from the alcohol. But the bottom line is she was naked under we don't know what she's on. That's why she needs to go to a hospital >> so that she's safe. >> We don't know what else she has. We don't know. >> We don't know anything. >> You've never been able to find anything else. >> And she hasn't said anything of the truth. She hasn't told us anything for what's now what two and a half. Becky, come here. Come on, baby. Such a [ __ ] lie. >> It's not a lie, Elizabeth. >> Yes, it is. >> So, you're going to deny that? >> Your bed sheets. I don't smell the vomit. You want to deny that? >> How about all the alcohol and the door shut? Come on, Elizabeth. We'll take you to the hospital. We >> don't need to go to the hospital. What did you take? >> One today. >> What time frame? Like earlier before what? When? I >> mean, yeah, earlier than now, obviously. >> Well, yeah, cuz we've been here for almost an hour. >> So, like an hour and a half earlier than that. >> Okay. Did you drink anything? >> Or I mean 30 minutes. >> Did you drink anything? >> No. Well, he's calling the supervisor to see what our next step is. >> Who your partner? >> Yeah. So, we're going to go from what the supervisor says and then we'll go from there. We need to get to the hospital. >> I have the other stuff. This is This is >> What's in there? >> Is about to be load number three. Sorry, that's only I took out the top half. My husband thinks that I should not wash it until you either see it or smell it. It's covered. You can also see it all over the bed. It's all over the floor over here. Her phone. It was gum all over the place. >> My partner's calling the supervisor to see what our next step is and we're going to go from there. >> Mom, give me my phone back, please. >> It's also not her phone cuz she's not paying every month. >> Except I paid for it and that's what we said. >> You paid the money for it and also the charges. You know what? So give me back my >> as the attorney said we are not engaging. I if her cuz her life means everything to me. I hope it's going to mean something to you people because it's it's she needs help and we're >> I need my help. We're not doing here obviously [Music] to go to the hospital now before I don't want to have more. >> So she smoked weed earlier. >> Okay. >> And >> you know that she out and punched out her top front tooth, right? >> Did you know that? >> Yes. How many months ago? Wow. >> You know that she since you last saw her, she now has hair to hear here because there was so much vomit in it, gum in it, and she blacked out and she did not shower, brush her teeth or anything for 11 and 1/2 days. >> And so she's lost all that. So these are natural consequences. She needs help and the only place they can give her help is a facility of support >> or a hospital >> and she knows that. >> What do words say? >> Can you please tell her to stop talking because she is the opposite of what they teach you to have and support. >> Mom, let's go to the hospital, please. >> I'm not going to the hospital. 55 from 74. >> 55. >> Can you swing out here, please? >> Thank you. Thank you. Was it anything else other than the weed that you smoked today? >> No. >> And be honest. >> Nicotine. >> Okay. >> Like a vape or a cigarette? >> Mhm. Okay. Just wait for the first time. >> Yeah, I know. I want to know. >> I'm just waiting for the supervisor to get out here so we can >> Okay. >> Cuz we really I understand the concern. We can't force people to go to the hospital and I understand the concern. Listen, I listen. I understand. >> I'm going to tell you then what and it's only because I was worried about her life. >> I understand. The supervisor is coming out here. The supervisor is coming out here >> and you can explain the situation and we can go from there. I can't force her to go to the hospital. >> 2 and 1/2 hours later. >> Listen, I understand >> if she dies tonight from like this is not a joke because she has to have the meds. >> I understand. What medication is she on besides besides the herbal supplements and the >> I don't know what the detox meds are. I don't know what they give them in facilities. >> Okay. >> All right. So, like that's why the attorney told you guys that you have to take her to the hospital. >> I understand. We cannot. You don't understand. It's one that's why she's that's why she was violent >> to him. I was cleaning up the vomit. Otherwise, I would have been the one kicked in the stomach. Okay. >> But she kicked him in the stomach multiple times, but that's because she was drunk and high. >> Okay. >> And now she's not so high. >> All right. >> But you can see the eyes. Those are not normal eyes. >> Not normal behavior. >> So I'm going to wait for the supervisor outside and then we we'll go from there and >> we'll see what he That's why he's a supervisor. >> Yeah. She she can't she can't stay here. >> Okay. And if we are paying the monthly fees, then the phone actually belongs to us, right? >> No, she's not. >> So, just hang tight. All right, we'll be right back. He's up there with her right now. >> What's up? >> Yeah, I got a cold ward real quick. They were here. They left. >> She made She's not like She's intoxicated, but she's not bombed yet. Um, so basically, we're just trying to convince her to go to >> to rehab. >> To rehab. We're like so close. But like the attorney and the mom and dad want her like, "We're not negotiating. We're not doing this. If she doesn't want to go to the place, we're just getting her to the hospital." and she's saying go to the hospital. So, she got >> Where's her rehab? >> It's in South Amboy. >> Does she want to go almost? >> She's She was just came out of a rehab, I think, for 19 days. It clearly helped and we're just like on the verge of getting her to that point, but it's like, >> you know, you're like, >> am I helping or hurting the situation by going in? >> Probably hurting at this point just cuz the mom the mom is pressing everything now. Yeah. So, let me call Ward. Heat. Okay. So, so just an update. Um, first aid left. She armed RMADED. She's not like completely wasted. She's intoxicated on something. She's not saying what. Um, we're trying to convince her to go to the rehab. They have a bed for her right now. They said they send the car over if one of us would wait, but she's like denying and then she seems like she's going to agree and then she'll revert. But now the mom and dad and the attorney are kind of pressing it, saying they're not going to negotiate with her and they want her just to go to crisis essentially. Now, he tried speaking to her. She didn't say anything to him. Um I that's exactly I know they're saying that they don't know what she took, how much she drank kind of thing. Um, so yeah, but like regardless, we can't. Yes, it's like slightly slurred, but it's not nowhere near like you know the last time we came. It's like not near. She could definitely hold a conversation with us. I know. Okay, that's all right. All right, let me tell I'll tell Steve cuz he's up there right now. like in the present time, right? Not like Okay. without her want. Yeah, exactly. Okay. Okay. So, I'll try to explain that to my mom without her. Yeah. All right. All right. Thank you. Bye. And we're we're not able to do it here obviously. She she has got to go to the hospital now before I guess I don't want to have more [Music] earlier. >> Okay. And >> you know that she's blacked out and punched out her top front tooth, right? >> Did you know that? >> Yes. How many months ago? >> Wow. you know that she since you last saw her, she now has hair to here here because there was so much vomit in it, gum in it, and she blacked out and she did not shower, brush her teeth or anything for 11 and 1/2 days and so she's lost all that. So these are natural consequences. She needs help and the only place that can give her support >> or a hospital >> and she knows that. >> What a word. Can you please tell her to stop talking because she is the opposite of what they teach you to have in support. >> Mom, >> let's go to the hospital, please. >> I'm not going to the hospital. >> 55. Can you swing out here please? >> Can you swing out here please? >> Thank you. >> Thanks. Was it anything else other than the weed that you smoked there? >> And be honest. >> Take a good >> Okay. >> Like a vape or a cigarette? >> Mhm. >> Just wait. >> Yeah. Wait, Steve. We can't make it. >> Yeah, I know. I know. >> Mhm. >> So, you wouldn't rather just go to a place than have to deal with this? >> Continually, continuously. Excuse me. >> Cuz I'm sure you're tired of this, right? >> Yeah. I'm sure you >> I know. Exactly. have spent a week at home since coming back from my duties in rehab. >> Okay. >> I'm not allowed to stay here tonight. I just want to go to a hotel for a couple nights. >> But our concern is >> I know you have a concern and I don't plan on [ __ ] drinking and I plan on continuing my IOP. Like I don't know. There's nothing else I could say to make it clear that I genuinely am going to do that. >> What's an IOP? >> Intensive outpatient. What I've been doing right now. >> Okay. And how's that been going? >> Well, I've been doing it for a week and two days. A >> week and two days. And what you go there? >> Coming back from my 19 days in rehab and it's been going well. Okay. >> But then what did you drink today? >> Well, >> was it just vodka or is it more? Did you mix things? >> Some new weed. >> Okay. >> What would you drink? >> Cuz I don't think the smoking necessarily would have caused all the vomit. Usually it's alcohol that does that. Yeah. Yeah. Usually, >> usually I do drink after like the day after drinking. >> Like I'll wake up and need to puke. >> So, what was it like vodka? There's vodka you had with the weed smoke too >> today? >> Yeah. >> No. >> No. So, just a smoking today. >> Okay. You sure? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Typically though, is it when you throw off alcohol and stuff, it's usually vodka. >> Um, it's usually the next day. >> The next day that you th from drinking. >> So, you're saying you drank yesterday? >> Oh, no. No. >> Okay. That's what that's what it sounds. >> I didn't drink yesterday either. No. >> Okay. >> No. Absolutely not. No. No. Stop. No. Don't make me look bad. Um, you can check my PE tests. But >> no, I just want to clear it up. That's all. >> Usually if I do throw I was saying from the perspective of like if I do throat from drinking, it'll be the next day. >> Okay. Oh, really? You never throw up like that day of drinking? >> Yeah. Like maybe I did it like twice in 3 years. The same day. >> Okay. So why you're saying this? So today the vomit's from the marijuana. >> Oh, I don't think it's from marijuana. >> So why' you throw up? >> I don't know. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> You said it was new stuff. >> Mhm. >> That you never tried before >> before today. Did one of your friends have it or like did is that how you heard about it or something? >> Uh, no. I bought it from a an actual >> dispensary. So just higher like THC volume essentially. >> One thing that I bought was Yeah. One thing is it usually like a um do you take like the edibles or are they usually you smoke it? It's always like a a pre-roll >> like a card. >> I don't know what that is. >> Perfect. >> What is it? So it's like a So it's What is it? almost like a vape kind of thing, but it's marijuana. >> That Yeah, but sometimes in the vape things, you know how you can see the liquid? >> Okay. >> In this one, you can see the liquid. >> Okay. Gotcha. So, it's that that was the new thing you got? >> Yeah. >> Okay. And that was the first time you've ever tried it. You never tried it with anyone else before? >> Nope. >> Okay. You always been smoking >> for a couple years? >> Yeah. In school and everything, too. Where'd you go to school? >> Um, Eard College in St. Petersburg, Florida. >> Florida. Oh, wow. Warm. When did you gra Did you finish it? Yeah, I graduated with my bachelor's in May 2023. >> Oh, wow. Okay. So, last year, what was what did you major in? >> Marine science major with a concentration in biology and a minor in sustainability. >> Okay. Dolphins makes sense. >> I like invertebrates better. Actually, the shell and you have the whole jar of shells here. You like going to the beach, getting the shells? That's cool. You went to Cold Snook. >> No, I went to Mast. >> What's that? >> The Marine Academy of Science and Technology. >> Oh, wow. What is that? >> It's one of the vocational schools in Mammoth County. >> Okay. Is that on Kazoski Road? >> It's on It's It's on Sandy Hook, New Jersey. Oh, okay. That makes sense. So you guys could experiment stuff in the water, huh? A lot of dolphin stuff. So what on a more serious note, don't you think just going to the facility even though I know you don't want to like no one would have wanted to go? >> I have to be somewhere tomorrow. Like these are plans and like if I was going to cancel it would have had to been 3 days ago. Like even if I wanted to cancel at this point, I couldn't. You know what I mean? I also don't want to cancel. But even if I had to, it's like >> But also, >> what time are the plans? >> Huh? >> What time are the plans? >> 9 to 5. Literally a work day >> around here. New Brunswick, >> huh? Where you're meeting up with people. >> Are they from New Brunswick? Are they from out of the area? Is that why? >> From close to New Brunswick. >> Okay. Where'd you meet them? Are they like friends that you've known for some time? >> Mhm. >> Yeah. Well, you're just spending the whole day. Why do you think you can't cancel? >> No, like I actually know that I It's not I think I know. >> But like what do you think? Like what will happen hypothetically if you did? That's the camera. Sorry. It beeps every like 20 minutes. >> Oh. Um not hypothetical. I just cannot miss it. I cannot. It would literally be the worst thing that I have done in a while. I've done some pretty bad things. >> I was going to say I don't think it would be the worst. I think it could be a good decision because you would be getting help to the point where you can make these plans without having to worry about this. And that'd be a much more freeing day than say tomorrow you going there and still having this looming over your head. >> I'm not doing this tonight. >> Okay. So what's the alternative here? Like when would you be willing to go at all? >> I did already. Like say if if you give me a week and I haven't been good all week, then you can send me. I feel like that's fair. >> Okay. But we noticed. I'm sure you noticed. Your parents noticed like how much better you are from that first session. And I don't think there's ever been a case >> where someone's recovered fully from one session. It's not. You're not going to convince me right now. >> Okay. >> So, you think a week of you think that's the the deal essentially? No, I just think that it's fair that given what I've put in so far that for them to give me one week from today and to see if I [ __ ] up again anywhere in that week, then I have to willingly go. But if I'm good for that week, then >> Are you still doing the outpatient thing? >> IOP. Yes, >> IOP. And then how long does that go for? >> I am doing it 4 days a week. Okay. So, tomorrow's not one of those days. >> No, I only Friday. >> It's Monday through Thursday. >> Yes. >> Okay. What about work? You doing anything for work? >> Not right now. Right now, I'm trying to move out of this house and then finding a job is number two. >> Okay. >> But moving out is number one. So, >> yeah. Okay. Well, like I've been saying, I think, you know, whether it's tonight or in a couple days, going to this rehab will expedite that process for year number one because ultimately that's what everybody wants is for you to go so you could get better. And I'm sure deep down that's what you want because you want to be healthier. You don't want to have to deal with this over and over and over again cuz I'm sure you're tired of it cuz >> 8455. >> It's a pain obviously like to have to deal with this. No one wants to, you know, >> have to argue with their parents non-stop, have to deal with us non-stop. So, excuse me. Like I said, I think the facility kind of just expedites you being able to do what you actually want to do without having to worry about this. Whether, like I said, whether it's tonight or a couple days a 7-day thing then that if in the next 7 days I have one slip up um going no matter what. >> That's I can't make that agreement cuz it's not like that would just be a verbal thing. Obviously, that's just something that you would have to >> it's all verbal things. Not necessarily the facility because a facility you're physically doing it and you're there >> to be honest. Oh god. Yeah. I really just want to take a shower and go to sleep. So, if we can decide on whatever will the whatever give me the 7-day trial, which is I plan on being good anyway. >> I'm just worried that if you do slip up again and you're very, you know, intoxicated, you're not going to you're going to say no to going and you're going to continuously to say no >> and we're just going to be back to square one again. time saying no doesn't work in this family. So again, wouldn't you Okay, so a lot of the things you brought up were issues that like you don't agree see eye to eye with your mom and dad and stuff. Like wouldn't you think going to the facility, going to the rehab, just doing it, getting better, and then moving out would ease all that stuff for you? >> I don't. >> Rather than prolong it. >> I only did that one week ago. Like that's the >> And you got better. Yeah, you got better. It's clear as that you got better. >> So, what I'm saying is >> take a shower then cuz honestly I'm not getting use out of this. >> Okay. I can't let you go in the shower right now. Hopefully soon. Um my sergeant's here. >> Soon. >> Yeah. Do you think we can go back downstairs where you were sitting on the steps? I think it'll make things just go quicker. >> You think so? >> Rather than Cuz yeah, the communication is they have to come up here, then downstairs, then up here, then downstairs. >> Very good. Hey puppy [Applause] dog. >> Oh, wait one second. >> What's going on, Elizabeth? >> Yeah. >> Hey, how you doing? Sergeant Word. Uh, can I talk to you real quick? We going >> I was going to have to go back. >> He'll speak with you as soon as she's done so with her. >> Thank you. I guess >> how you feel. >> Good. >> You don't want to go to the hospital? >> No. There's >> negative reasons for me go to the hospital. >> Okay. Do you want to hurt yourself? >> No. >> I have to ask. That's why I'm asking. >> No, I don't want to hurt myself. >> You want to hurt your parents? >> No. >> Okay. I just have to ask the other way. Okay. >> No, I don't want to kill someone. >> You don't want to kill yourself >> or myself or my dogs or my siblings that don't even live here. >> Okay. You don't want to go to the hospital or anything like that? >> No. >> Do you have any plan for the rest of the night? >> Well, I need to >> Well, on top of a shower, I was going to take a bath just for my skin to sweat out my skin. And then I was going to shave everything cuz I have a date tomorrow with my American boyfriend. >> Okay. >> And then I was going to go to sleep. >> Okay. >> Those were literally my entire plans >> for the rest of the night. >> All right. All you sit tight. Okay. >> Okay. >> Daisy. Daisy. I love you little curse. My god, you're so bad. Dear God. So beautiful. I love you. >> Why are you looking at me like that? >> You were looking at me. >> I literally heard the door, looked up, and you were looking like >> I'm just carrying some sheets. Daisy, where is she? Where's my >> go get her? Go get her. Who is that? Go get her. Go get her. Doesn't want to go up the stairs. >> It's lazy as [ __ ] Daisy, who's that? Who's that? Daisy. She wants a treat. >> Come, Becky. >> Come, Becky. >> Hey. >> Wow. Becky. Becky. Wie. Wolfie, no. Cookie. >> Oh, sorry. I said hang out with Liz. >> Becky. Cookie dough. Cookie Monster. >> Becky. Cookie. >> Oh my god. Amazing. That was funny. question. Allow No, my sister. So, we're trying Miss is so apparently now the supervisor was at here. Yeah. Thank you. >> Hi. >> Okay. So, you know that that time He was here in the kitchen. >> Wait, Elizabeth, what's the plan? What's the plan for tonight? >> I would go pack my stuff to go to the hotel right now. >> So, I need to call her because when I came home from work, she was covered covered and she was naked on her covered in the the bed, the clothing, both sides of the bed, the rear of the bed, everything. So, some stuff actually I don't know how she stacked her up together, but she's she not just passed out, but black out less than what barely two months ago and the top frontier she has blacked out. So, multiple times I have her ground. So, the question is, it's really simple. Please tell me that you are going to immediately take her to the hospital so that she is safe >> and she needs the medication. >> Did I say that rightly? >> This is actually the She can't. [Music] See you later, guys. Who's that? Who's that? Get him. Get him. Oh my god. Who is that? Who is that? >> Oh my god. Yeah, >> man. >> Guys, someone's outside >> right there. >> She said what? In the room. >> Threw something over there. >> Daisy, who's that? She got the toy. Got the toy. The toy. >> Oh, Cookie. Good dog. Okay. >> Go ahead. That one doesn't play. Two is too lazy. >> That one's my dog. Trust me, I think it's bad as [ __ ] >> Looks like he's fine. She >> Yeah, it looks like it is. >> A little vicious. >> Daisy, good doggy. No way. Back again. Becky >> Becky friend. >> Oh, they don't know anything at all. bring >> Daisy bring out her head. I mean Yes. >> Took a bad bounce. >> Good. Daisy, bring. >> Daisy >> tired. >> Enough playing for the night. Still looking for it? >> Yeah, I think she got it. >> Becky >> smells it. >> Becky, bring the cookie. I should have just let her because I just don't I'm sorry that I'm on your third load of laundry. I'm just going to go give you all your followup >> cookie. Bring the cookie. [Applause] Good. This one doesn't get tired. >> Nope. >> No. Huh? So if you stay here in the shower and you go to bed. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Late, right? >> Yeah. I'm going to get up at like 6:30 tomorrow. Can I [ __ ] go to sleep now? >> What's the plans for tomorrow? Anything good? I have a date. >> Oh, do you? Where at? >> This nice. >> A lot of good restaurants there. >> Yep. Where are we going anywhere? Good. >> Oh, I don't plan anything. I just get told to wear and when to show up. >> It's one way to do it. >> Yeah, it works out great, actually. I don't have to do anything. don't like looking at the menu prior >> or if you don't like anything when you get there. >> I will like something. I like too much food. >> Yeah. >> Right. Daisy, are you fat? Do you like anything on the menu? Daisy. Oh no. So cute. >> Okay. I'm just going to show you how long this has been. She doesn't stop. >> It never quits. So annoying. >> You should see it in the pool in the summer, in the snow. >> They like the water. >> Yeah, this one does. >> Shows up in the water. >> Yeah, she'll >> like doggy cannon balling. Becky. But if something does not say this mind is that correct >> I know you They say that's her. I'm just >> cookie >> Oh, Cookie Monster. Look at you. She said, "Whoa, >> Cookie, I will kill you." Don't put that on record. I don't want to get arrested again. Please. I'm not [ __ ] homicidal. Just want to go to sleep. cookies. >> All right, go ahead. >> I don't know how it's so entertained. >> It's a squeaker. 3 hours ago. Yeah. Ew. Cookie. >> That might be it. >> Do you see where that went? Yeah, it went all the way into the corner behind the >> should [Music] back corner behind though. >> Yeah. Come So we do that again. So, Elizabeth awak >> like you said upstairs >> that's your point >> for uh rehab and everything. >> Yeah. >> Oh, you can also tell us that it's that she will not be given her phone. The only way that she gets the phone is to go to the facility for detox or she can go to the hospital with you. It's the same thing that it was. I just want to make I am actually very concerned for you right now because my husband's going to go to bed and I'm worried. Okay. So either I leave or she does and she's not allowed to leave then I'm forced out of my home that I can't I can't do this anymore. I can't I couldn't walk for charges. >> All right. Um, can we talk real quick? Elizabeth, >> I I'll go up so you guys can see. All right. So, that's your plan for tonight. Like you said before, shower, clean up, go to bed, ready for tomorrow. >> Well, yeah. I need to get ready for tomorrow. >> Okay. All right. Um, your mom mentioned that they took your phone. >> Okay. >> Yes. And I paid them $700 for it, so they should not be taking my phone. But I also need it to >> so >> talk to my plans tomorrow. >> Okay. >> Among normal activities like setting my alarm. >> I can't I can't force them to give you your phone back because they paid for it. They paid the bill. You're still >> I literally paid them for it. >> That's something I can't force them to give it back to you tonight. >> It's all being documented like you're on camera and everything else. Um is there any other way you communicate with these people you're trying to set up plans with? >> No. Okay. >> The plans are already set. It's just >> just making sure everything's on time and all that. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um, so you say your mom's not giving your phone back. I can't force them to give it back to you. Okay. That's the first thing. Um, we really don't want to have to come back here tonight. >> I have something to do with it. You're not coming back. >> Okay. Well, I think your mom said she's going to she's going to leave for the night. Your dad's going to go to bed. My mom is not going to the biggest lie I've ever heard in my life. She has never spent a day away from this house. >> That's what she told me. >> You know whether she's lying or not, you will know. You will know whether she's lying. All right. So, we're going to get out of here. Um, if you have any problems, please call us. We don't have to come back here tonight. All right. Do you need anything else? Do >> you have any questions? >> Um, I don't think I have anything else. >> Okay. You You have any questions or anything like that? >> I don't think so. >> Okay. All right. If you do, call us. All right. If anything happens, call us. All right. All right, girls. >> Okay. >> All right. Take care. Okay. >> Good night. Hey, what is that? >> You guys? >> Yeah. One other thing. Your dad mentioned that he was waking up. >> Yeah. >> Did Did anything happen physically between the two of you? >> Me and my dad? >> Yeah. When he was trying to get you out of your bed? >> No. >> No. Kicking punching? >> No. >> You said that you got kicked in the stomach. >> No. I've been violent with them in the past, but I'm not violent with them tonight. >> Okay. And he wasn't violent with you. >> No. >> Okay. No, nothing violent between your mom and you and your dad and you. I want your dog get out. >> Oh, no. No. Not between >> either one. Cookie. >> All right. All right. >> It's not a waste. >> Not a waste. Good night. >> Good night. Okay, let's go. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] 8455 county. I'm guessing Pip told you like the rundown. >> Yeah. >> So, I even told the mom that we can't force her to go anywhere to the hospital or anything like that. >> Okay. >> So, then she started saying that she got combed with the dad and now she's saying that he hit him in the stomach. So >> that she >> she hit the dad in the stomach, I guess, when uh they were cleaning up the vomit or whatever cuz she woke up in vomit. She said she smoked weed today. >> She won't go to the facility and then she signed the RMA and the mom doesn't want to hear that we can't force her to go anywhere. >> So I figured hearing it from you directly, I don't know if it's going to make a difference. But then then she's saying, "Well, this that and the other thing with her getting uh physical with the dad, I guess." Um >> the mom's saying this. >> The mom is saying this now. >> The dad is like just sitting there like, "Oh, well, you know, like so I don't know cuz nothing came out until after we told her that we can't force her to go anywhere." So I don't know if you want to talk to mom. Mom doesn't want to hear it. She called the attorney. >> Okay. And the attorney was like, "Uh, yeah, we're looking in safety of her health." I go, "Yeah, we are too, but we can't force her to go anywhere." >> The first day of squad came out and treated her. >> They came out, treated her. She signed off. Vitals were normal. They said >> a little high pulse, but with the situation. >> Mhm. >> And it's normal. She even said that that was low for her pulse. So, Piv's up with her. She's sitting on her bed right now, but the mom doesn't want to hear that. We're not doing any >> any suicidal comments, any >> Nope. >> Nothing. She's doing better cuz she went to a 20-day re like rehab or whatever and then she came out I guess a couple days ago and then she said she literally just said it now that she smoked weed today earlier about an hour and a half before we came here. >> Okay. >> So I was like that's fine. Like >> you can do that. >> Um they're worried because her I forget what they said their pancreas some level counts are like red and the last time they went I was like okay well I'm not a doctor. If she doesn't want to go to the hospital, she we can't force her to go. So, I don't know what mom's gonna Mom is on the bank of the attorney telling us to take her to the hospital, but we can't make her unless we have a court order. >> Mhm. >> So, I mean, I don't know what you want to talk to mom about, but she's not >> really happy with what we have. >> Yeah. Oh, did I I figured we are. So, cuz she even said that she'll leave and go to a hotel, but I know mom's not going to want to hear that. >> Let me go. I'll talk to her first, Elizabeth. >> Okay, she's up in her room. >> She's up with him. Straight back. >> Yeah. >> I was going to have to go back. I thought you were says all of us. >> No, he'll speak with you as soon as she's done speaking about with her. >> Thank you. >> Speak with you real quick. >> I just want to speak with you real quick. Sure. >> So, what I know your wife said she got physical. So, what happened? Oh, just when we're trying to get get her >> just trying to get everything cleaned up and everything like that. >> She was just like fl like >> um No, actually I was trying to get her off the bed and all that and she said she started kicking me. >> Okay. Just like like kicking while she's laying down or something like that. >> Yeah, she was laying down the time that she kicked me. >> Okay. >> Trying to >> We're just trying to get her You know where we're coming from. We can't force no matter if the attorney tell unless we have a court order. We can't force people to go to the hospital. I've been here multiple times. I know the situation. We're trying to do the best for everybody here. >> Um, we're real concerned. >> I know. Health issues. >> Well, yeah. Yeah. I mean, she uh seemed to have recovered pretty quickly from being passed out in her van, but >> I know it's just a hard situation. I know you guys go through a lot with everything going on and all that. So, >> yeah. Through it. Yeah. We're trying to keep try to get her into the therapy. >> Mhm. I mean, you guys were use useful for that in um before and actually we didn't call you. You know, we got her on the uh um domestic violence, but it got actually another time. I was she really beat up my wife, but we didn't call you guys that time. >> Okay. >> But anyway, >> how you doing, sir? I'm Sergeant Ward. So, I know you've been talking speaking with the other officers. Um based on everything they told me, I just spoke with her. We we cannot take her out of here. Um she's 22 years old. She was checked out by the first aid. She didn't want to go. I have no legal or medical reason to forcibly remove her from your house. Um I know there's a lot going on with her with the history and everything. And you're as a parent, you're very concerned for her, >> but I can't just force her out of here. Um that's, you know, that's against her rights as a as a person, as a citizen. Mhm. >> Um, that's that's where we're at. I if I had if I had a legal basis or, you know, medical reason, I would do everything I can to help you guys out. I know you're worried about her being her dad and all that, but me taking her out of here is, you know, that's a violation of her rights, and I we can't do that. You know, she's a juvenile. That'd be different. She We'd be gone already. But with her being 22, that's her, right? You know, she signed off the first day, checked her out, everything. Um, that's where we're at right now. >> Okay. Well, I guess it get it gets tough because if we can't force her into therapy, we can't being an adult, you know, we're going to these uh places and they're telling us to they're telling us to put her on the street and so she hits rock bottom. She's not going to look for help or she can't imagine doing that to your daughter. >> No, absolutely. >> I can never imagine doing that. But we don't know how to. But the other thing is again like today she was passed out under vomit, right? So what do you do? >> Yeah. Okay. >> The only thing would be to continue trying to get the rehab process going and that's really the best thing that we can do right now as of this moment. >> Have you have you tried seeing if they'll send a counselor out to speak with her? Have anybody come out to the house and talk with her? Well, she's been into she um >> cuz I know she just got done with that 3-w weekek rehab. >> It was actually supposed to be longer and she did broke some rule which we don't know because um >> they have you know confidant she's an adult. Yep. >> And she had to leave so she ended up coming here and then going back to freehole during the day. >> So that's that's the I think she's just like skating around. She um I don't know. I just I don't know. >> Okay. Um where is she set set up to go to rehab? >> They said well right >> some place in South Amboy I think. >> Well well that was we were trying to get her there which is a residential program. She's been going during the day this past week since uh she was uh thrown out of the other facility. She goes during the day to um it's across from Sam's and Freehold. There's a place in there. Okay. Um that little circle, you know, I don't know if you know how to get into Sam's Club. >> It's right. It's the first building on anyway. So, she goes there from 10 to 2. >> Um supposedly daily and they test her for drugs and all that. But >> do they have any like I I would I would see if they have any inh home services where maybe they could send somebody out here, speak with her, work with her one-on-one, maybe convince her to get to somewhere. Yeah. >> Or even >> No, my sister who's a trained psychologist contacted the um uh New Jersey. >> I'm just going to get mom so then we can do this all at once. Miss. >> Yes, sir. >> Uh, if you want to just come downstairs. Uh, >> supervisor finally came. >> The supervisor is speaking with your husband. If you want to just come down here as well. >> Okay. Yeah, good. cuz I'm kind of I'm just a little puzzled with uh I mean cuz this is so apparently now the supervisor Becky You know that when she was here, >> Elizabeth, what's the plan? What's the plan for tonight? >> I would go pack my stuff to go to a hotel right now. So I need to call her because when I came home she was covered [Music] the floor the bed of the bed. So some stuff actually but she's she not just passed out but blacked out less than barely two months ago and the top front she has blacked out so multip so the question is it's really simple please tell me that you are going to immediately take her to the hospital so that she is sick and needs the medication. >> Did I say that rightly? They said, "What's outside?" >> Right there. She said, "What in the room?" >> Daisy, who's that? >> The toy. >> Oh, Cookie. Good dog. Okay. doesn't play. It's too lazy. >> That one's my dog. Trust me, I know. >> Yeah, it looks like it is. Daisy, good doggy. >> No way. >> I know. Becky, >> Becky, BR. So, so now what? So now she >> get out again. many times. I mean, lost it. >> A bad bounce. >> Good. >> Daisy break. >> Daisy. >> Tired. >> Enough playing for the night. about >> still looking for it. Okay, I think you got it. >> Becky >> smells it. >> Becky, bring the cookie. because I just don't I'm sorry that I'm on your third load of laundry. I'm just going to go give you all your throw up >> cookie. Bring the cookie. Good. Hi. This one doesn't get hot. >> Nope. >> No. [Music] Thank you. So, if you stay here, you're going to shower and go to bed. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> It's late, right? >> Yeah. I'm going to get up at like 6:30 tomorrow. Not [ __ ] going to sleep now. >> What's the plans for tomorrow? Anything good? I have a date. >> Oh, do you? Where at? >> Brother. >> Nice. Nice. >> A lot of good restaurants there. >> Yep. [Music] do that again. >> Yeah. >> I didn't tell you. No, nothing. >> So, Elizabeth was a weak. >> You better walk in. >> What? >> Like you said upstairs. >> That's your point >> for the rehab and everything? >> Yeah. I go, "Yeah, we are too, but we can't force her to go anywhere." >> The first day we squat came out and treated her. >> They came out, treated her. She signed off. Vitals were normal. They said >> a little high pulse, but with the situation. >> Mhm. >> It's normal. She even said that that was low for her pulse. >> So, Pips's up with her. She's sitting on her bed right now, but the mom doesn't want to hear that. We're not getting >> any any suicidal comments, any n >> nothing. >> She's doing better because she went to a 20-day re like rehab or whatever and then she came out I guess a couple days ago and then she said she literally just said it now that she smoked weed today earlier about an hour and a half before we came here. >> Okay. >> So, I was like that's fine. Like >> you can do that. >> Um they're worried because her I forget what they said their pancreas some level counts. are like red. And the last time they went, I was like, "Okay, well, I'm not a doctor. >> If she doesn't want to go to the hospital, we can't force her to go." So, I don't know what mom's going to Mom is on the bank of the attorney telling us to take her to the hospital, but we can't make her unless we have a court order. >> Mhm. >> So, I mean, I don't know what you want to talk to mom about, but she's not really happy with what we I'm familiar with. >> Yeah. Oh, I'm I figured we are. So, all right. cuz she even said that she'll leave and go to a hotel, but I know mom's not going to want to hear that. >> Mommy, I'll talk to her first. Elizabeth. >> Okay, she's up there. >> Upstairs. >> She's up there. >> All right. [Applause] Where? Straight back. Elizabeth. >> Yeah. >> Hey, how you doing? Sergeant Word. Um, can I talk to you real quick? We going room or I was going to have to go back. All right, that's fine. Yeah. Yeah, we'll go downstairs. I'll talk to you real quick. all of us. He'll speak with you if she's not. >> Very busy night, right? Yeah, >> I guess. >> Okay. Um, how you feeling? >> I'm good. >> Good. You don't want to go to the hospital? >> No. There's >> negative reasons for going to the hospital. >> Okay. Do you want to hurt yourself? >> No. >> I have to ask. That's why I'm asking you. >> No, I don't want to hurt. >> All right. Do you want to hurt your parents? >> These are things. Okay. These are things I just have to ask you to get out of the way. Okay. >> No, I don't want to kill someone. You don't want to kill yourself >> or myself or my dogs or my siblings that don't even live here? >> Okay. You don't want to go to the hospital or anything like that? >> No. >> Okay. All right. Do you have any plan for the rest of the night? >> Well, I need to >> I mean, she >> Well, on top of a shower, I was going to take a bath just for my skin >> to sweat out my skin. And then I was going to shave everything cuz I have a date tomorrow with my American boyfriend. >> Okay. >> And then I was going to go to sleep. >> Okay. >> Those were literally my entire plan. >> Okay. >> The rest of the night. >> Okay. All right. I'm just try again. All right. All right. Just sit tight. Okay. >> Okay. >> Thanks. >> Daisy didn't call you guys. >> Okay. How you doing, sir? I'm Sergeant Ward. So, I know you've been sp speaking with the other officers. Um, based on everything they've told me, I just spoke with her. We we cannot take her out of here. Um, she's 22 years old. She was checked out by the first aid. She didn't want to go. I have no legal or medical reason to forcibly remove her from your house. Um, I know there's a lot going on with her with the history and everything and you're as a parent, you're very concerned for her, but I can't just force her out of here. Um, that's, you know, that's against her rights as a as a person, as a citizen. >> Um, that's that's where we're at. I mean, I if I had if I had a legal basis or, you know, a medical reason, I would do everything I can to help you guys out. I know you're worried about her being her dad and all that, but me taking her out of here is, you know, it's a violation of her rights, and I we can't do that. You know, she's a juvenile. That'd be different. She we'd be gone already. But with her being 22, that's her right. You know, she signed off the first day, checked her out, everything. Um that's where we're at right now. >> Okay. Well, I guess it it gets tough because if we can't force her into therapy, we can't being an adult, you know, go we're going to these uh places and they're telling us to they're telling us to put on the street until she hits rock bottom. She's not going to look for help or she can't imagine doing that to your daughter. >> No, I can I can never imagine doing that. But we don't know how to. But the other thing is again like today she just passed out under vomit, >> right? So what do you do? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> The only thing would be to continue trying to get the rehab process going and that's really the best thing that we can do right now as of this moment. >> Have you have you tried seeing if they'll send a counselor out to speak with her? Have anybody come out to the house and talk with her? >> Well, she's been into she Um >> cuz I know she just got done with that 3-w weekek rehab. >> He was actually supposed to be longer and she did broke some rule which we don't know because um they have you know confident child or she's an adult and she had to leave so she ended up coming here and then going back to freehole during the day. >> So that's that's the I think she's just like skating around. She's um I don't know. I just I don't know. >> Okay. Um where is she set set up to go to rehab? They say you ever been there in South A. >> Well, well, that was we were trying to get her there, which was a residential program. She's been going during the day this past week since uh she was uh >> thrown out of the other facility. She goes during the day to um it's across from Sam's and Freehold. There's a place in there. >> Okay. >> Um little circle if you know how to get into Sam's Club. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> That's right. It's the first building, right? >> Anyway, so she goes there from 10 to 2 >> there. >> Um supposedly daily and they test her for drugs and all that. But >> do they have any like I I would I would see if they have any inh home services or maybe they could send somebody out here speak with her and work with her one-on-one and maybe convince her to get to somewhere. Yeah. Yeah. >> Um or even, >> you know, my sister who's a trans psychologist contacted the um uh New Jersey mom so that we can do this. >> Okay. >> Anyway, so we're trying to get her to to do that, but you can't make her do anything. >> I can't Yeah, >> that's what we've run into. you know, I I don't I don't I don't know. >> Has she been violent or anything like that? >> Um I mean, well, before I don't know if you were involved before. >> Uh I a couple months ago I was out here, but but she wasn't. She was on the floor. So >> Oh, that time. Yeah. Before >> in the kitchen. Yeah. Be >> before that. I mean, she's beat up my wife before. Yeah. >> Okay. So, okay. >> You're you're aware of the fact that she's in danger. Her life is in danger. Are you aware of that? Just knowing all the history cuz we do have two wonderful officers here. >> I've I've been here before. Um the last time I was here, she was on the kitchen floor. >> Okay. So you know that that time when she was here on the kitchen floor her blood alcohol content >> over 12 hours after that was 0.445 445. >> Okay. >> The night before that when you were not here it was 0.5 something. >> That is death in a coma. >> Sure. >> So I made the call sir because when I came home from work she was covered covered and she was naked under a covered in vomit. The floor the bed the clothing the both sides of the bed the rear of the bed everything soaked. some stuff actually some I don't know how she staggered up to get but she's she not just passed out but blacked out less what barely two months ago >> okay >> and the top front tooth she has blacked out so multiple times >> I had her drown in a tub so the question is it's really simple please tell me that you are going to immediately take her to the hospital so that she is safe >> I I understand >> and she needs the medication I understand the background. >> You say that rightly, sir. >> This is actually the attorney because her charges. >> I I understand her background. I've been here before. >> Yes. >> I can't base my actions tonight on her past. I have to go on what's going on tonight. >> Okay. You also know that she kicked when uh I needed my husband to help her that she kicked him. >> Then I will talk then I will talk to him about it. I I can't take the report for that from you. I will speak with him. >> So what I understand. So, what is your >> So, tonight she she was checked out by the first aid. They got her vitals and she signed off. She's 22 years old. She see she's an adult and has the right to do that. >> She's lucid. She's talking to me. She admitted that she smoked. >> She's drunk and she's high and she was >> which is not against the law. >> Which is not against the law. >> You're hearing this, right, sir? >> I have plainly asked her if she wants to harm herself or anyone else. She's denied that. >> Okay. I'm sorry, but this is the attorney, her attorney, right? Because she has several charges against her. >> And you know, I I explained to your husband, I would >> even the attorney said to please, you know, >> save her life. >> I I need a reason to take her out of here, and I don't have one. I can't violate her rights in order to help out. >> Do you want me to hang up with you, Steve, or because I feel like I would like for this officer to know what happened to you because maybe they would actually listen then. Yeah. He's asked you to take her. I mean, there are people who don't have >> their children are dead. >> Mhm. >> Because they weren't taken to a hospital. >> Sure. >> Okay. >> What What else do we have to say to you? >> Like I said, I have to go on what I have tonight. What my officers have seen, observed, and how she is acting tonight. I understand the past history. big difference between 2 hours ago and 3 and 1/2 hours ago and right now. >> Then that's why we had we had her first they had the first aid squad come out. They checked all her vitals. She signed off >> and they saw the >> she's 20 she's 22 years old and she signed off. She refused it. >> Are you going to tell them? Are you actually going to finally say cuz I know you don't want to finally Yeah. Well, she did. She kicked me. >> I know she did. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Where did she kick you? in my stomach. >> Can you show me? Do you have any >> Oh, there's no there's no marks. She bruising or scratching. >> She was naked in bed. She was drunk and >> Okay, I will speak with her. >> And that was after 90 minutes of me I had smacked her. I'm Well, that's not hard, but I mean, I tapped her on her cheek over five times to try to get a response. I couldn't get anything. I had her hip a couple times. I had to shake and tap her hand a bunch of times. I couldn't get anything. I, you know, after doing that minutes and minutes, I was trying to drag my husband out of a meeting. I, you know, well over an hour later. >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> So, um, so now what? So, now she gets to drink and get high even more and then maybe black out again and crack her head open and die cuz that's it's already happened, sir. >> I I know. I know. I was here. She was on the floor last time. I mean, and were you here when she actually punched out the tooth cuz she fell down from the standing position? >> The last time I was here, she was on the kitchen floor and we barely woke her up and we got her in the hospital. >> That's right. 445. And it was the night before that that it was 0.5 one or three, I can't even remember. That's definitely >> And that that night she was going that that morning that we came here, we took her to the hospital. She didn't want to go, but I forcibly took her to the hospital because she was a danger herself. the night before we drove her. And so that's going to happen again. Now he wants me to actually try to go to sleep before my alarm goes off. >> I have to go with what I have presented currently right now. >> She's lucid. She was talking to me. I went through everything I can to try and get her. >> All right. >> So, the only way it's going to go down is if he presses charges against her kicking him. I will speak to her about that. But right now, I don't even have enough to mandatory arrest her because he has no remember because she's I have to get her side of it. >> It's okay. But she won't she's not going to remember. >> I I'm a I'm a parent. >> She doesn't remember what she did. >> I can I can't even imagine what this is like. >> I had to have surgery on my knee. You know, from the time that you were here that night before. >> Mhm. >> She actually hurt me so badly. I had to have surgery on my knee. >> Okay. >> I was only here that morning, so I wasn't not aware. >> 12 hours before. >> Yeah. for her. >> So, this is this is like blowing my mind >> and >> I'm wanting to know why I even bothered calling. I should have just let her stay in her vomit. >> Well, cuz you care about her and you want to get her help. >> You know what? No, I'm just going to go put all cuz I just don't >> a lot of frustration. >> Understandably. I I can like I said, I can only imagine what this is like. Um, I said I, you know, I explained it to you is, >> you know, I understand where you're coming from. >> And like I said, she has to be, you know, a danger to herself or someone else for us to take her to the hospital or, you know, she's got to break some sort of law criminally, law-wise. I have no reason to arrest her or rip her out of here to go to a crisis screening. Medically, she's lucid. She's talking. I asked her if she wanted to hurt herself anyway. She wouldn't want, you know, I go through everything I have to go through in order to >> Right. Right. >> Um >> Yeah. She's one thing is the downside of going to therapy is like there's people in there that are like really rough. >> Yeah. >> And guess what? They're in group therapy and she's learning all these ins and outs. She actually knows, okay, when the police are coming, you know, >> they start learning all the tricks and they learn what to say and what not to say. Exactly. going forward. So, they're they're getting an education on it, unfortunately. >> I'm also, you know, concerned cuz I don't I don't know if it was alcohol tonight, but she did something that made her, you know, throw up >> and um I doubt it was just the vaping pen. >> She told us she smoked marijuana tonight. She told the officers and then she'd been drinking obviously, but beyond that. >> Yeah. Well, I just get because you know she's telling me tell me these guys like oh yeah he does fol like methadone. >> Yeah. >> These are the people the >> take you take them for substance abuse treatment. This is what they get. >> Yeah. >> Exposure and education. >> They Yeah. They start Yeah. >> Okay. Um, I would maybe reach out to her rehab or reach out to um, one of the like the hospital like Mammoth Medical has a crisis unit or call one of the hospitals and speak to a crisis screener, a crisis somebody in a crisis psychiatric ward and get them on the phone and see if they'd be willing to come out here. Um, I don't have enough to call them out here right now just based on this. But if you can, if they talk to you and you get the history on her and I'll give them the whole whole story front to back, they might be willing to have somebody come out here. >> Um, for our purposes, I I I don't have enough to call them out here. Um, but you can call them and see, you know, if they'd be willing to come out. And if they do, they usually call us to come back out just to provide an escort for them in the event that she is taken to the hospital that they want to cuz they have that that authority where they'll do a they'll do an inhome crisis screening. If they sign off, listen, she's got to go. Then we can take her, but we don't have the authority just to take we're not psychologist. We can't just take her out of here. And like I said, from a from a criminal law pers I mean say criminal from a law perspective. I don't have any reason to take her out of here. [Music] >> Okay. >> All right. >> So, she what kicked you in the stomach when you're trying to get out of the bed? >> Yeah. >> You don't have any marks? No bruises? No. >> No. No. There's no marks. >> Yeah. I mean, >> did she say anything? Was it intentional or is it more? >> Oh, yeah. Absolutely intentional. >> Okay. Just trying to get you. >> She's very very, you know, willful. She's >> Sure. She's just suddenly laying and throwing up. >> Okay. All right. >> Yeah, it was intentional. It was meant to, you know, control my behavior. >> Sure. Sure. >> So, that's weird. I'm just going to go and do my thing. >> Um, >> I put all the vomit shirts. Oh, >> that's I mean, I've done three loads now already. That should show you how long this has been going on. I have done three full loads. There's a fourth in the machine. >> And I just dumped some of the vomit stuff, her clothes on her bed. >> And if you looked, you could see the wall behind her bed. >> Question. >> Both sides. No, I mean, it's it's just it's >> Yeah. >> But you know, you don't throw up for marijuana >> and you don't. >> Yeah. And so, um, the handles of vodka, it's true that I think there's no question that she didn't drink >> an entire bottle. Obviously not, cuz then she would have blacked out and cut her head open. Um, so I have, which is an interesting text, because like I said, there is an attorney involved. So, >> sadly, I guess you guys, cuz at least this can be on record. I'm sorry, it has to be me. >> But if something does happen to her, God, I hope not. But if she does do more, you know that you apparently this I'm the I was told to say this with the hopes that you guys would change your mind that you guys are going to be liable. You would at that point be on the hook. >> Okay. >> Is that correct? Cuz that's what I was just told. >> If that's what you're being told, I can't give you legal advice. Um and I can only tell you what we're able to do or not able to do. >> I know. No, you did say that's her. I'm just like I said, I am repeating what >> I I understand. I understand that part of it. Um what you're going through. I can only imagine. >> Um I was telling your husband one other thing that I can recommend is call one of the local hospitals and ask to speak to somebody in the crisis or psychiatric unit. >> We actually we have a facility in South Amboy Detox that was willing to take >> but call call the hospital because they have mobile crisis screeners. Somebody who comes out from their psychiatric facility. >> Yes. >> They said it has to be from the cops that you guys can call. I just told your husband, "We don't have enough to call tonight, but you can call as a parent and request it." And see, because what'll happen is if I just call them out and tell them what they have, I'm telling you right now, they're not going to come out. They need something more like she's suicidal, she's homicidal, she's been violent um against herself, then they might. But if you call and get but they'll they'll give you if you can get somebody on the phone and give them that whole background, the whole from the beginning of end, they might be willing to send somebody out here. And when they do, if they do, they usually request us because they can have her committed to to a psychiatric unit. I don't have that authority. >> They actually tried. >> They can we >> because only somebody from the hospital who does it really does a screening. >> Well, the thing is she's she's not right. >> No, but no, but right now No, right now nobody's going to she's not in a crisis. >> Right. Right now. Well, 3 hours ago. Yeah. Yeah, you can't do anything. >> That's when I try to get you. Yeah. Anyway, >> like I said, I >> No, no, no, no, no. Thank you. >> And I I believe me, I I want to get her to the hospital. I want to get her out. I'm not doing it because I >> Right. Interesting. >> No, she's she is going to present. You should know that because she is, as my husband says so >> beautifully, >> she is a functioning alcoholic. >> Sure. >> The worst one. So, the bottom line is, I mean, I'm sure that you know even more than I do, but since we know our daughter, so she's drunk, >> she is high, >> and um >> obviously she wants to hook up with one of many um friends tomorrow for a couple hours. >> Yeah. >> Um >> that's Yeah. Yeah, I asked her what her plan was for tonight and she said that, you know, get ready for a date tomorrow and she go to sleep. >> So, it's only for a couple hours on Friday, but >> okay. >> And uh that's why she won't go to the fac. But um >> so you should know that she's going to be screaming for her phone. Her phone is no longer here. I made sure and it's even though she gave us I don't remember. I think it was $600 cash. It doesn't matter because we pay the monthly fee on it. >> So that means it's ours. Is that correct? >> Yeah. It's your fault. >> Okay. Well, that's good cuz it's not here anymore and she's going to be screaming for it. >> Okay. >> It's not my problem. >> She's listening. Even though she's even though she's 22, it's still your house and your rules. >> Well, well, she's not obeying by the rules cuz there she is drunk and high. >> But her phone. It's And she's not paying rent or anything like that, right? >> I would tell you nothing. What I'm getting at is sure how if she doesn't like it, you can always have her leave. >> If she if she so much as attempts even to lay a finger on me, I will call you immediately back cuz she's going to be screaming for the phone. >> And I tell you what, you better walk in this time, handcuff her. I'm not going to have all this. You got And you guys are wonderful. Um, former Air Force officer. Thank you. >> So, I take you guys very and adore you. >> Yeah, we appreciate it. >> Love you. I mean, no, truly like it's I couldn't say enough. wonderful things. >> Thank you. >> But if I do, you're welcome. Thank you. But if I do have to call back, >> I don't want anything other than you carry her out. Period. >> I've already You don't want to know what all has happened to me. >> So So based on tonight, I'm going to tell her this. If if we come back tonight, she's leaving tonight. She's out of the house. >> Oh, it's going to be with But you can also tell her that it's uh it's she will not be given her phone. >> Okay. The only way that she gets the phone is to go to the facility for the detox >> or she can go to the hospital with you. >> Sure. It's >> the same two things that it was 3 and 1/2 hours ago. >> Okay. >> Or three and change. Sorry. >> Yeah. No. >> I just want to make sure because I'm I am actually very concerned for me right now cuz my husband's going to go to bed. >> Okay. >> And uh I'm worried. Okay. So either I leave or she does. And since she's not allowed to leave, then I'm forced out of my home to keep myself safe. To say nothing of my mother. >> Yeah. >> Sorry, Pat, but that's the truth. >> Sure. >> Cuz I can't I can't do this anymore. I can't I couldn't walk for over 5 and 1/2 weeks. I couldn't even move. >> All right. That's >> It's not Elizabeth. It's the vodka and the marijuana. >> I know that. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> Okay. Okay. So, I'm going to speak to her and we're going to get out of here. Um, I'm going to get my stuff. I got to get ready to go. No, I think that if I'm not here because if she were to come at me, it's going to be more charges that she can't handle. >> Okay. >> All right. Anything at all? Please call us. Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> All right. Um, can we talk real quick, Elizabeth? You want to I'll go up so that you guys can see. Thanks. [Music] All right. So, that's your plan for tonight. Like you said before, shower, clean up, go to bed, get ready for tomorrow. >> Well, yeah. I need to get ready for tomorrow. >> Okay. All right. Um, your mom mentioned that they took your phone. >> Okay. >> Yes. And I paid them $700 for it, so they should not be taking my phone. But I also need it to >> so >> talk to my plans tomorrow. >> Okay. >> Among normal activities like setting my >> I can't I can't force them to give you your phone back because they have paid for it. They pay the bill. You're still you're still in their house. >> Paid them for it. >> Okay. That's something I can't force them to give it back to you tonight. Okay. It's all being documented like you're on camera, everything else. Um is there any other way to communicate with these people you're trying to set up plans with? No. Okay. So, I think your mom >> has something to do with it. You're not coming back. >> Okay. Well, I think your mom said she's going to she's going to leave for the night. Your dad's going to go to bed. >> Okay. My mom's not going anywhere. That is the biggest lie I've ever heard in my life. >> That's what she's telling me. >> She's never spent a day away from this house. >> Okay, that's what she told me. I don't know whether she's lying or not. You You will know. >> You will know whether she's lying or not. All right. So, we're going to get out of here. Um, if you have any problems, please call us. We don't want to have to come back here tonight. All right. All right. Do you need anything else? Do >> you have any questions? >> Um, I don't think I have anything else. >> Okay. You You don't have any questions or anything like that? >> I don't think so. >> Okay. All right. If you do, call us. All right. If anything happens, call us. All right. All right. You're all set. >> All right. Take care. Okay. >> Say, "Who is that?" >> Should I lock you guys out? >> Yeah. Oh, one other thing I want to ask. Your dad mentioned that when he was waking you up. Um, did >> did anything happen physically between the two of you? >> Me and my dad? >> Yeah. When he was trying to get you out of your bed? >> No. >> No kicking? No punching? >> No. >> You said that you got kicked in the stomach? >> No. I've been violent with them in the past, but not violent with them tonight. >> Okay. And he wasn't violent with you? >> No. >> No. Okay. No. Nothing violent between your mom and you, your dad and you. Oh, I want your dog to get out. >> Oh, no. No, not between >> Okay. >> cooking. >> All right. All right. All right, Elizabeth. We're going to get out of here. Okay. >> Okay. >> Take care. >> Sorry to waste time. Oh, >> my apologies. Always.
