On June 30th, 2024, Sunday night at around 8:55 p.m. at Adams Tavern, 115 Elm Street, Westfield, New Jersey, Lauren Mullins, a 32year-old woman and a lawyer by profession, arrived in the evening and ordered a glass of wine. Initially, she appeared calm and normal, but after a while, she suddenly became heavily intoxicated and aggressive. The restaurant staff tried to calm her down, but Lauren began using abusive language and became uncontrollable. Her behavior deteriorated to the point where the manager had to throw her out. Once outside, Luring started creating a scene on the street, yelling, running in front of cars, and undressing herself. Witnessing this, the restaurant staff got scared and called the Westfield police, but ended up breaking the law herself. She was arrested for DUI. And even when she appeared in court, she was still intoxicated. The judge wasted no time and sent her to jail. Now people refer to her as lawyer gone rogue. Her most recent and serious incident occurred in March 2025 when she hit and killed a 73-year-old man named Daniel O'Neal with her SUV in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She was kind of accusing the bartenders of yelling at her saying that they were going to call the cops which they never did. Um and then she so she left before that last rainstorm when she was I went outside she was on the bench and then I guess after the raintorm she came back in and that's when she just started getting more aggravated. I sat her down asked her if she has an address. I can do a ride chair for her. She can do the right share. She didn't say anything. Um talked to her friend on the phone. She said that she gave me your address and then she started saying that we had attacked her and we didn't do that. So yeah, she said that we refused to call her ride share and that's all we've been trying to do. She wouldn't tell us her name. Wasn't really sort of being coherent. Got I came in to take inventory to help tonight. Saw it on the camera. So I came upstairs. I brought her outside. I said, "Ma'am, it's time to go. We're going outside." Told them to call the police. You guys came. When we were waiting for you, she was like, "I'm sorry. I I'm taking this out on you. It's all my dad's fault. I'll go to the train station. I don't know if she had a lot of drink before she came in or if she So, when she first came in, how was she when she like when she had that glass of wine already? So, I was downstairs um the bartender upstairs, but they said that she was like coherent. Um she she ordered she literally Yeah. So, she wasn't even touching her glass, I think, until like the end when she started getting a little and then I guess she like chugged it and then left and all she had was that one glass and then she came back. Yeah. Yeah. So, we didn't serve her anything. No. No. So, she left, came back, and when she came back, was this kind of how she how she was? Yes. Gave her a glass of water. She smacked it across the bar. Okay. It's all on camera. Oh, yeah. Okay. The couple that's in the center though, they did say that they she was escorted outside of out of her over an hour ago. Okay. But I feel like it's probably like 2 hours at this point because she was When did she first come in? What time? Honestly, what time is it now? It's 9. Probably 7:30. 7:15 7:30. Okay. All right. Was there any sort of physical altercation or was she just kind of acting acting wild like how we kind of got the tail on when we first showed up? We got a little bit of it when she was outside with you. Nothing physical. She was just kind of Okay. Um, I think the only time that I might have touched her husband's because her top was coming. I might be thinking she didn't strike you or anything like that. Nobody in here or nothing like that. Okay. All right. That's her number one concern. Our number two concern is do you have any any complaints right now or do you want her do you want us in here and you get home safe? Okay. Yep. That's our only concern. All right. That's Yeah, we'll definitely we're kind of working on it now. Our big thing is we just didn't know if anything occurred in here. Oh, no.
