Shout out to Body Cam Summit for this video. They're another video with people shoplifting in 2025 and 2026. This video came out in 2025. I don't understand. And then by the original title they're saying they're pulling the race card. Let's see how this go, y'all. Let's get into it. >> Uh just ringing it up? >> Yeah, I'm ringing up everything right now. Um >> How much we got so far? >> It's This is this. I just forgot the loofah, but that's everything. >> One eighty nine dollars? >> a dollar. >> Okay. So we're only at one sixty seven so far before tax. Okay. >> Yeah. >> All righty. >> She's in the office right now. >> have the video, too? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Okay. Can I take a look at that video, too, before I talk to her? >> Well, she's in there right now and that's where our cameras are. >> Oh, okay. Um what's the problem with you guys? Things okay? We'll work it out. >> But she's asking me that. >> Hey, how's it going? >> Uh-oh, hello. >> Uh-oh, how you doing? How you doing? All right. You guys pulling that up? >> Yes, I have her trying to leave right now. >> I'll talk to you in a second, miss, okay? Right now you're not under arrest, but you're being detained, okay? >> Detained? >> You're being detained. >> her trying to leave. She did pay for a large portion of those items. Um specifically we don't really know if she had two Hot Wheels items that she kept under the seat there while she was checking out at the register. When they looked away, she pulled both of those items out, put them in the bags. Uh she still had a basket in there as well with some cosmetics, uh and then some jewelry items. She went up to guest service. She paid for a bunch of items up there, but left all those items in the basket. And then she moved to exit through those doors there and that's when we stopped her. Uh we do also have a record of her with Target. Give me one second. I'll pull that up. My system is being dumbly slow today. I can get back in the office and then today's incident where she was leaving with those items. So it is going to take us a while to get the video together. She was in here for about four hours. >> Okay. >> Um >> Four hours in one duration or over? >> Yeah, four hours in one duration. Um the Do Do have the receipt of those items? this? Does it look right? >> Yeah, so this looks right. We will double check it against the other items, but this is all the stuff that was left in that basket along with the Is that with the two toys on it? The two Hot Wheels? Yeah, with both Hot Wheels on there. Um so we'll double check to make sure there's not something else, but we're going to have to I'll actually have you go back out and just ring up. >> If there's anything else you guys can send in my way, I'll give you my email and stuff like that. >> my receipts. >> Okay. All right, miss. Like I said, you're not under arrest right now. You're being detained. Um so do you have an ID with you? >> I don't. I don't have an ID with me. >> Credit card is what you gave me for ID. Are you Latoya? >> I am. >> Okay. All right, Latoya. You want to talk to me? >> Yeah, it's I know Well, Target is so racist. Um when I was in the Soon as I came through the door, that girl with that neon shirt ran to the ran to the front door and I took a video of it. Um when I walked up to the front, no one was there. No asset protection, no nothing. And so I was like, "Oh, okay." So then I recorded him and I recorded her walking up to that door. And I'm like, "Oh, so now they're profiling." And so I went to that register, register one. And I don't even know what he's talking about with the Hot Wheels cuz I did My total was uh two >> Just shut up, man. You just said three wrongs and no rights. Just been talking. Just be quiet, man. Just Just just take your L, sister. I'll talk about this later. >> 100 and $19. >> Mhm. >> And so um when I was at the register and I had a a basket. And so the lady at the register was acting antsy that she wanted to go to lunch. And the other older lady was like, um, you can go ahead and go to lunch. And she was like, "What you going to do with that basket?" I'm like, "I'm going to guest service." And so she put everything around the basket and nothing on the inside. So I went to guest service. I had two baskets full of clothes already waiting at guest service. And so, um, >> What kind of service are you talking about? >> Over here at the service desk. >> Okay. >> Yeah. So >> For for merchandise that you had in your cart? >> Um, that I was going to pay for. >> Okay. >> They had things on hold like uh, my kids' clothes on hold. >> Oh, like over here to pick up? >> mind if I sit here with you real quick? >> Uh, I think I did I leave it over there? >> You have it there behind you. >> Is it this one? >> I don't know. >> No, it's just the small one. >> Oh, that's the small one. I might have it. >> And you have a >> I think I I literally just had it. I must have put it away. Oh, this might be it. No, that's not it. I don't remember where I put it. >> So, um, I rolled up to guest service. I did the first basket. Um, and then the Indian girl woman came and I asked her to get two kiddie pools for me. And so she got two kiddie pools and then she I guess she decided to help the other girl. And while she was helping the other girl, she just put the pool right on top of my basket and I was check out the basket. She just put the pool right on top. There were no bags. There like nothing was just sitting right open from register one. >> Mhm. >> So when I went to guest service, um, bring up all my clothes and my houseware stuff. >> Okay, but typically you're supposed to pay for all the stuff over there at the register before you go to the place that's probably right next to the exit, right? >> complaining about going to lunch. Register one. She didn't want to work anymore. >> Mhm. >> So she >> So you So you walked past? >> Mhm. >> [clears throat] >> So you just walked past and said, "Okay." >> No, she she asked me about my basket. She said it was okay to take it to the customer service. >> Okay. >> Cuz it was already in the basket. >> Mhm. >> So when I was at guest service, after she got the pool, she just put it right on top of my basket. And so, I paid for everything thinking that I bought the damn basket because I'm working with the other lady. >> All right, so what happened after? >> So, um after I'm going to go get into my car and these two people >> suddenly we went from the service desk to getting into your car. >> I paid for my stuff at customer service. >> Okay, what about the other $180 that you didn't pay for? >> $180? >> Yeah, that's what the receipt said. >> Yeah. >> Of what? Can I see the receipt? >> It looks like It looks like there were various toys, other things that we had there. >> It was everything that was inside. >> Let me see. >> Remind me of the car that you didn't pay for. I understand [snorts] if you went to customer service to have paid for the rest of your stuff because of some other situation. It's just >> What was $30? >> The black jacket. >> The black jacket is $15. >> That's the clearance price, correct? >> Are we just negotiating for the >> even on clearance, though. >> Because you don't have >> Okay, so outside of the outside of the price, these items clearly you were walking with >> They were well on your way out of the door, obviously walking away, so >> What's the laundry cleaning and closet? >> Well, Toya, what's your birthday? >> Like I told them like I can pay Like only thing was supposed to be in there was the makeup. >> Okay, what's what's a good Okay, what's a good phone number for you, miss? So, there's some things that you're disagreeing that you stole, but some things that you did walk out with? >> Yeah, so I I don't know how she She forgot What is the HH basket? Cuz that white basket she's supposed to have scanned. >> Oh, girl, you stole it. >> Is that what's on there? >> Okay, what do you remember walking out with that you didn't pay for? >> That's right. That's the the room spray. >> That's right. >> Oh, honey, but it says HH closet. What's >> Yeah, that's that's the brand. >> Oh. >> brand Heart to Heart. >> Oh, okay. >> Well, Toya, what do you remember walking out with that you didn't pay for? >> Everything should have been paid for. >> Everything should have been paid for, but it but it wasn't. So, what what then what wasn't paid for? >> The The basket they had the makeup >> Mhm. >> and a bronzer and a jacket that was supposed to be $15. >> Okay. >> Everything else was should have been paid for. >> Okay. That's That's what we got you on video obviously walking out with with merchandise that some of that wasn't paid for. >> was inside the basket for her to ring up. >> Mhm. >> But when I'm working with the one lady for her to ring up the clothes, imagine me you paying for one thing and then a lady another lady has a big pool and she's like, "I'm just going to sit it on top of your car." And she just sits it on top of your car. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. All right. You're obviously concealing stuff. So, just uh hang out with me with my partner for 1 second. I'm going to be right back, okay? >> Yeah, cuz I told him like if it's a whatever it I can pay for it. Like I don't even know how that happened. >> Okay. Think we're good. We're good to go. >> You're going to jail today, sis. >> Hey officer, did you get my basket of food? >> Basket of food? Did you How'd you get here? Did you drive or >> I'd rather not. Where's uh Where's my basket of food? >> Your basket of food is just right outside on the >> I can have it. I I don't want my food just sitting out there. >> Well, right now we're in here and my partner's going to explain to you what happens next. >> Okay. Um All right. I'll see this. >> No, that's how you boy. >> That's my card. >> Thank you. >> That's going to be the report number so you guys can send over the footage. Do you guys have a way of sharing it, right? They should I could you have a phone number or an email that I can send the request to you? Yeah. Send it over to you. >> Uh that'll be my email down at the bottom there and let me write my Albert on the phone number. >> Okay. So, what so yeah, just from what I'm seeing just report wise placing her in custody. You're going to go back to the Wheaton Police Department, okay? I got to look into a couple things and see what's going on with and see if there's a uh see what situation we're working with. >> Okay. >> I don't Okay, I don't have access to that right now so we're going to take a look at that. You're going to come with us, okay? So, what I think should probably happen with >> for $100? >> Yeah, it is. A dollar. We'd do it for a dollar. That's That's what retail theft is, okay? So real quick, you bought some food and stuff like that. It might be best that maybe you put that back on the shelf as your refund or something. I don't know what would be the best way. Oh, okay. How much stuff is there? Cuz it looked like >> Right, like this doesn't even make sense. Like >> Okay. >> This lady puts >> Do you guys have a Do you guys have a way of holding onto that? Okay. So yeah, this is the tricky thing is we don't want to bring that. Okay. Okay. While I've got you real quick. Okay, do you have a card by any chance? Okay. All right, we're good. >> What usually happens is like usually they give you a ticket. Like what's going on? >> No ticket. It's my >> No, there could be felony at >> [clears throat] >> something like this. >> You used to doing this. >> Yeah, and if you've been this could be felony point at this point. Yep. That's kind of how things go. So yeah, sometimes we do tickets, but probably not for this circumstance. >> What's wrong? Can you stand up? Are you able to stand? Like this is not fair. Like this >> Yeah, this is all mine. >> Okay. We'll come back to you. We'll bring it. >> It's even like I would have I would have hid stuff like >> need you to not go into the bag and you need to stay put. >> Okay, I'll put that in there for you. Let's just have you stand up, okay? >> Okay. >> No problem. Okay, so we're going to have some problem closing this bag. >> I'll I'll close it for you. >> We got it. We got it. >> It's okay if I grab that one, right? Where's that merchandise? Did you guys already put it back on the shelf? Um yeah, that'd be good. That'd be good. >> Yeah, cuz you can clearly see the the clearance tag on the jacket and they're charging $30. >> Okay, well the price is the price is what it is. The point is obviously you tried to walk out of this store. >> It's not That's to make me look like I'm doing something and I'm not. >> Well, then you walk out with 10 cents or you walk out with $30. I mean the point is you're taking merchandise from >> Ma'am. Ma'am. Okay, I'm sorry. Okay. Well, let my lawyer decide it. >> Yes, that sounds like a good idea. >> Okay. >> Can you grab this? If you could, yeah. >> It's all my fault. And then this is just her first patch. This is her >> Okay, we'll give you a just hold on a second. We'll give you a thing as well if you can sign that. Um I might have my officers put it on that, okay? >> I ate my food and that right there, is she charging it? That's not on the receipt. >> Okay, let's just walk right now, okay? Okay. I think that Oh Lord Jesus, man. Unfortunately, it sounds like you Okay. Yeah, we're not we're not going to let you eat there now, okay? Let us work through this and then if uh everything checks out, we might get you going quick, but we have to look at a couple things, okay? >> No, because things shouldn't matter to you. >> Yeah, this is LaToya. That's that's going to be up to the state legislators. That's not my call. That's what you told me, so. >> I never said anything. You never read me my Miranda rights. >> I told you you were detained. >> You never read me my Miranda rights. >> Well, you're in custody now, so if you want to talk to me I can read them to you. >> Nope. I'm too big for that strap, huh? >> Okay, that's okay. Why don't we just get your leg in there and then we'll work out we'll work on that after, okay? Do you need help? You got it? >> Well, I can't sit up with the strap. >> Okay, no the strap is is way up here. Oh, I see I see what you're saying. Okay. Well, I'll do this. Okay, how about this? There we go. >> Uh long time since this happened. And and and no read reading of my Miranda rights. >> Okay. Well, like I told you LaToya, you were detained. I asked if you wanted to talk to me about the situation and you did, so. >> You never read me my Miranda rights. >> When you're being detained I don't have to. Are you able to Are you able to scoot a little bit to the left? >> You said I was not being arrested. I was just being detained to get >> time, you were being detained. You were not in custody, so there was no need to read Miranda. >> Right, and even when you >> when you're in custody and when we're going to ask you questions about the investigation. >> He did. He has. >> Okay. >> He has asked me questions. >> here's the thing, Latoya. If you're just going to argue with us, we're just not going to talk to you, okay? So, that might be the best way. >> I think it's fine if we don't buckle it. >> Yes. >> Let's do that. All right, Latoya, just give us 1 second. >> The woman was charged with retail theft [music] and trespass from Target. Thanks for viewing. >> All right, but let me ask you a question though. Do she have a point? Those of y'all who know the law, is she right about what she said at the end? All right, let let's let's get let's let's get into our Well, let me say this. I'm talking to my people right now. And people get upset when I say this, like we need to learn when to use the race card. I keep on saying it all the time. If you see something racist going on and you know for a fact that it's racist, then you can say, "Hey, they're racist in the store. They're profiling me." Yes, that's when you have a fight. But don't use the race card when you know you're guilty of doing something. When you know you have uh been doing wrong. It's not racist when you're doing wrong. You did the [ __ ] So, you need to own up to it and be held accountable for it. That's what it is. They didn't profile you. You got a history with coming in Target and stealing [ __ ] That's why they're arresting you. That's the problem. I get tired of my people always using the race card when it's not uh it's not needed. Then when something really racist going on, you ignore it. Do you get what I'm saying? Uh it was this it was the store that was up the street from from mom's house. They had closed down. And my mom lives in a predominantly uh black neighborhood. And it closed down. And I asked one of the co- the workers who used to work there, I said, "What happened?" He said, "People was coming in stealing all the time, man. He said, we just had to close shop." And he said, "That makes the store value go down. And then that that makes us not trust the neighborhood." And I had to better understand why they do certain things. So, all the time everything is not racist. It's like I got to say it like this. If they see a certain amount of people coming in stealing, they going to be like, "Uh-oh, be careful this person. Watch this person. Watch this." But, at the same time, yes, there are racist people out here and there are racist companies. We know this. But, at the end of the day, even the racist company see green. If you coming in shopping with them and making them some money, they don't care what color you is. But, they still got to protect their stuff. It is what it is. So, I get tired of people always using the race card at the wrong time, sister. You know it's you. You are the problem. And then, it must be a new scheme going on out there. The new scheme is, "Oh, let me go in the store and buy something. And then I can steal a little bit. But, they can see that I bought something so they won't say I'm stealing." If you already spent $200, you can't spend another $100 and get the [ __ ] and go home? Make that make sense. Sister. And I'm sitting here laughing at her because she And I'm a big guy myself. But, I'm not picking. But, I'm looking at her and she worried about her food. "Where my food at?" "Where my bro- Uh-uh, okay, I got to eat." Sister. You got some bigger problems going on than worry about eating. And you can stay away from that table a little bit. You you'll be all right. You going to make it, sister. Trust me. >> [laughter] >> And I ain't saying it to be funny cuz I'm a big guy myself. But, I I guess cuz of me being a big guy, I can talk about somebody else being sister. You you can you can be away from that table just night. It ain't that serious, sis. But, we got to know when to when to fight. Got to know when to hold them, know when to fold them, man. Because I get tired of that that all the time that people be coming with that race card [ __ ] Oh, are you racist? They doing this cuz they profiling me. Oh, are you racist? Which is true in some cases, but not everything is racist. They just doing their job. They They protecting their their assets. They protecting their stuff. They don't care who color what color coming in and steal. They going to jail, too. We got to just stop, man. No. If you doing it Let me Let me say this before I go. If you have done something wrong, it's not them. It's you. If you done something right, it's them, not you. You getting what I'm saying? If you never stole, and then people just watching you and profiling you, and you and you a good person, yeah, it's them. But, if you done something wrong, it's your fault. Take accountability for that [ __ ] It's you. Thank you for being here. Thank you for the love and support on this channel.
