11th 2022 at around 1:21 p.m. officers
responded to a report of a disorderly
person at an apartment complex the
caller Ashley salus reported that her
exboyfriend had damaged the windshield
of her car when officers arrived at the
scene they met with Ashley hi where's
everybody else at they they're inside
inside okay what's going on so um I came
um we had plans to me and my boyfriend
to see each other so as soon as he come
into the car you know he has aggression
in him because he got upset about
something earlier and then he I told him
to get out of my car because he grabbed
my phone and I literally had to fight
him to get it he bucked at me and then
he did this to me I like he was going to
punch me and then when I told him to get
out of my car he got his foot and he
broke my windshield okay are you rested
under the vehicle um no this is my um
under my dad's name where's your dad at
so he's um home at how you doing he yeah

of days ago she found a girl on my phone

just on a break so I'm
guessing like two days ago maybe she
just call the girl name my phone and you
know we've been kind of going back and
forth you know trying to explain to her
it's not like that you know you was
single I was single yeah trying to
trying to yeah but get that and then
that turned that was today yeah okay
what transpired inside the vehicle for
the windshield to get broken in your in
your glasses to get broken so
basically we'll just talking about the
whole situation and she basically she
got mad because I kept trying to let me
tell her that I was single you
know and she just she doesn't like that
so she grabbed my
glasses oh she broke
them how she break what what she do
breaking she hit me she hit me first but
then when my glasses flew on her side um
I tried to grab them but she grabbed
them first and she Twisted
them and I'm I'm half blind without my
glasses so I can't really
see so
basically then she tells me to get out
her car get out her
car and
you got out when
inside
so
but while in the meanwhile all that I
guess my elbow hit the glass and that
happened which wasn't meant for it to
happen
but oh Bo you're getting out your elbow
hit yeah well when I was trying to reach
for my glasses like oh interesting
I was trying to hurry up and get them

bit he's going to pay for the windshield

thing okay as far as the windshield
getting replaced that's not something I
can dictate that's between you him and
possibly the

he can you can get his insurance and
that insurance will do that cover it
right is car insurance yeah no this car
insurance no that car insurance covers
vehicle the vehicle it doesn't cover
this individual damaging a vehicle car
insurance doesn't work that way he'd
have to come out of pocket to pay
that so what is the point of calling the
police if then there's nothing I could
do about my windshield I mean there's
something that can be done about the
situation we're going to get your
information if we can find probable
cause to make an arrest we're going to
do that because this is a domestic situ
situation now as far as restitution goes
that's not something that we can enforce
I can't force someone I assume that's
why I call so we can just file a report
and get that windshield
fixed okay because this is domestic
violence still just CU you weren't hit
it's still domestic

I I just stared at him and then um when
I told him to get out of my car he would
not get out and then oh we had a um
fight he grabbed my phone and um he
wouldn't let let go on my phone so he
bucked at me and um raised his fist at
my um my face and which made me like
jump and then um what else
happened and then um that's when I drove
I tried to drive away but I was like
please get out of my car and he wouldn't
get out so that's when I grabbed his
glasses and just put it and I put it in
the back seat and then that's when he
started hitting my uh windshield with
his foot and then um when he broke my
windshield I did grab his glasses and I
that was in the back seat and I broke it
so that's what happened to his glasses
that's in his hands okay but I did
not I don't know

vehicle insurance Works thinking that
his vehicle insurance would cover the
cost of damages to her car but no it
doesn't work that way unfortunately
insurance companies don't work that

like that because she she does a lot of
damage on

because she do the most she do she used
