Hey, how we doing? Hey, I'm Officer Riker, Mount Laurel Police. Just pardon me, just got laid into the body cameras on, okay? Can I take a look at your license, registration, proof of insurance, please? Thank you. By the way, we just got this car from the shop. Okay. Um it's been in the shop for like almost a year. It's literally been there for like a year. Okay. Thank you. Is this still a good address for you, the Marlton one? Yeah. Okay. Can I ask why I got pulled over? Yeah, so it looks like your um Hey, well, you got a couple things going on here. You got the uh stuff hanging from the rearview mirror there, you can't have that. Um he doesn't have his seatbelt on, and then also your uh registration looks like it's suspended, possibly. Uh So. Yeah, it probably is cuz it's been in the car for Do you have uh your license on you, sir? Thank you. Registration probably expired. It expired like what, every year or something? So, you said the car was in the shop for a year? Yeah, basically. It had a So, they thought it was um what did they think it was? A differential? But it turns out it was a >> case. Yeah, it turns out it was the transfer case, and it took them a while. Okay. Yeah, it's >> They kept it for a straight year? Yeah, and then all of a sudden I've never heard of that one, you know what I mean? That'd be a lot of money in storage fee. I would assume they'd charge you for it sitting there or anything. They charged me 900. Mhm. Mhm. They put a starter and a back window on for me. >> Yeah, the back glass is broken. Okay. Uh do you have insurance for the vehicle, ma'am? >> That's on my phone. Okay. Thank you. Let me just pull my phone up real quick. >> [snorts] >> Where are you guys coming from this morning? From hotel. Hotel? In Mount Laurel or? Yeah, the Mount Laurel Suites. Uh okay. Yeah, yeah. How do you like it there? Was it nice or what? No, we've stayed at way nicer places than Yeah. I got you. You trying to pull it up on an app or something? No, I'm calling my grandmother cuz I'm under her phone. Okay. All right, yeah, if she could send a picture of it or something like that, as long as it shows that it's for this vehicle during this time, that would be good. I'm going to go do some things in my car real quick, okay? Yo. Yo. What up? So, let's see, expired reg, expired inspection, no insurance, suspended DL. Uh 1 2 3 4 and we're going to get um >> [sighs] >> display and proper proper display and um DL. >> [sighs] >> All right, and let's see. 39 340 So, let's see. Mhm. Mhm. Mhm. Mhm. Should I tow this vehicle? Mhm. Yeah, but the three strikes. I know in the shirt, three strikes. I was always told to do like that three strike rule where it's like suspended or no DL Yeah. no insurance, [snorts] no registration. Yeah, I'm going to Yeah, [snorts] I'm not towing it. 36 167 or 168 from 177. No okay to tow this vehicle. Suspended DL, expired reg, no insurance. Hey, I don't think uh if you got one of you guys went over the radio, I couldn't hear your response. Yeah, you're you're good to go, the uh 107, do you want me to run it again? Okay. All right, thank you. I appreciate it. Yep. All right, later. Have any luck with the insurance? No. Okay. All right, sir. Here's your ID back, okay? I am issuing you a ticket for not wearing your seatbelt, okay? It's $47, and you can pay it at the website by the date down there. If you want to take it to court, it's your right to do so in that top right, okay? >> Okay. All right, you have any [music] questions? No, I'm good. Okay. And then ma'am, can you step out of the car and just talk to me in the back here? I got some paperwork for you. You're not under arrest or anything like that, but Yeah, yep. Thank you. Don't mind my outfit. My bedtime outfit. So, listen. So, your your license is suspended. What? >> Your license Yeah, your license is is suspended for having no for failure to have insurance. I'm not sure, but they said failure to have insurance. >> my charger, not this car. >> Yeah, so failure to have insurance is the reason why they suspended it, and then they also said persistent violator. So, I guess you have 18 you have 18 points or something. Last year. How long is it suspended for? Uh I'm not 100% sure, but it's currently suspended, okay? So, there and the registration on this vehicle has been expired for a year, okay? So, that So, the registration on the vehicle is expired for a year, there's no insurance, and your license is suspended, okay? >> Okay. So, for those reasons, I can't let the vehicle be on the road, okay? We have to tow it. Tow me? Yeah, I have I have to tow it because there's literally nothing on the vehicle, you know what I mean? There's no registration. Can Can we try to wait and see if she answers it? So, the So, that's why they Well, we've already waited a long time as it is, you know what I mean? Um and you have to be able to show insurance at the time of the stop. Um if you do have insurance on the vehicle, bring proof that the vehicle was insured at the time of the stop to court with you cuz you have you have some tickets here, okay? And the insurance is suspended or mandatory court anyway. So, might as well take all the tickets to court with you, honestly. Um this is going to be for the um Sorry, I apologize. What's a good phone number So, just grab Grab whatever you guys need out of the vehicle. Um and then you can arrange for a ride. What's up? I I have to, unfortunately, because there's literally nothing on the vehicle. Like there's nothing to help me out, you know what I mean? There's Like you're supposed to have registration, a license, and insurance, and there's and there's nothing. Unfortunately, I can't because cuz like I said, so the registration's been expired for a year, there's no insurance, and she has a suspended license. And she's the registered owner. So, there's I I can't, unfortunately. There's there's nothing on the There's nothing to help me out, you know what I mean? Like if if she had a license and insurance, but the vehicle was just expired registration, wouldn't be a big deal. But without any of the three things that are needed, my hands are kind of tied, you know what I mean? They're towing the car. They're They're just getting their stuff out of the vehicle, whatever they need, and then that's it. Hey, man. Can I step out? You're good. Yep. Yeah, just whatever you need to get out of the car, just do that. Um cuz he's got to He's got to get a move on with his job, you know what I mean? And just the tow truck driver's just going to need your vehicle key, but you can take all the other keys off there and and keep them for yourself. Thanks, I appreciate you coming out. >> Yeah, no problem. Um So, this is going to be for you. Thank you. Thank you. Trophy's arrived. Hey man. Can I just explain these tickets to you two here? Yeah. So here's your here's your stuff back. You can keep these documents, okay? So listen, um like I said some of these are uh mandatory court dates, okay? So the court date's going to be the same for all of them. It's June 3rd at 10:00 a.m. If you need to reschedule, the court's address and phone number is up there, okay? Um just make sure you don't miss the court date or else you know how that could go. They'll issue a warrant and all that stuff. Just make sure if you need to reschedule you call them ahead of time, okay? Um So there's one for the the no insurance, okay? There's one for the uh reg being expired for a year. Um one for your suspended license, okay? Um and then we got So there's no front license plate on the vehicle and then this stuff hanging down from the rearview here and the inspection is no good as well, okay? Cuz that's been expired for a year. Like I said, some of these are payable, some of them are court mandatory. You could If you want to pay the ones that are payable, you can, but like I said you got to go to court anyway, so probably just take them all to court, honestly. Um but the court date's going to be the same for everything, okay? Um do you have any questions for me? Okay. Here, I'm going to leave you with these, okay? Thank you. >> [music] [music] [music] >> Hey guys. So for your vehicle, so they're taking it to Trophy's Towing. It's going to It's in Cherry Hill, okay? >> Yeah, we need to stop at the police station and get the release form. >> Yes, yes. Yeah, yeah, once So once you're able to show that there's registration and insurance on the vehicle, um and that you're the registered owner, just bring your license and show that you have registration and insurance. Also, you know, that's good enough to get the vehicle out. Just bring a licensed driver with you unless you get your license reinstated before then, um then you could drive it back. But once you're able to show proof of registration and insurance, come down at any time with your ID and then uh the officer will release it to you, okay? Okay. Can you write down where my car is at? Uh so he could give you a business card. So it's If you want to take a picture of the side of his truck or whatever you want to do, his the phone number and address is on there. But you need to come to the police station first, okay? So that's that's the uh Mount Laurel police. >> Can you grab my charger? >> [music] [music] [music] >> You guys are good, right? All good? All right. They're good. They got everything. Uh the key should be in Did you guys leave the key in there? I don't know where it's at. It's somewhere in there. So that Yeah, the key for the car. That's all he needs. >> [music] >> You see it in there? You have the Can you help him with the key for the car cuz he just needs to put it on that tow truck. >> [music] [music] >> Don't worry about it. He'll He'll put it He'll yank it up on the the bed. Okay. Oh, you got the key? Are you Are you just going to winch it? Okay. All right, I got you. Sorry about that. >> [music] [music] >> Ma'am, what are we doing? Waiting for my brother comes. Okay. She's about to leave. She locked herself in the car or with the She was about to get towed there. She locked herself in the car. There was a pocket knife in the car. She started cutting her legs with the pocket knife on her thighs and stuff like that while we were trying to coax her out of the car. Then she um spit on us, was trying to bite us, kick us, all this other stuff while we took her into custody here. Um she's obviously currently in the back of that vehicle there. Um we're waiting for a female officer to come search her since she was giving us a hard time, spitting on us, all that stuff. Um She said she's pregnant. 20 years old. Um she doesn't look She doesn't I don't know how far along she is. She's not really showing a super lot from my opinion. Um But according to them, she is. And then she like I said, just the superficial cuts. She was doing it right in front of us while we were trying to get her to drop the knife and stuff like that. But nothing to where it's going to be like, you know, obviously she's not hemorrhaging out or anything. But uh So that's where we're at right now. Um she's pretty agitated. So I guess you guys are just kind of like standing by until we cuz we're going to have to take her out of the car to search her anyway. And then she's obviously going to skip. Um let me just talk to my sergeant real quick here, too. Hello. How are you? Thanks for coming. Yes, no problem at all. Um so we got her in the back of the car there. I've read the notes a little bit. Yeah, she's spitting on us, uh kicking, biting, all that stuff. Yeah, so she's got two sets of cuff cuffs on her cuz that's just how we got cuffs on her. Um So I don't know how she's going to be when we take her out here to search her. Okay. Um she's got some superficial cuts to her legs. She was just cutting herself while we were trying to coax her out of the car here. >> Okay. Um Uh well, she isn't No, she's not drunk or anything like that. It's just um She didn't want to We were about to you know, it was just all title 39 stuff. And then she decided to Yeah, she locked herself in the car. Um and you know, like I said, she was just cutting herself kind of to prevent the imminent. Of course. Um but So yeah, we didn't get a chance to search her yet. Um She Hey Sarge, are we loading her up in the ambulance and then she's going to Willenboro? That's the plan? Uh Willenboro's got the lockdown unit though. They don't accept They don't accept people on the weekends or Or they don't? Okay. Yeah, they don't accept people on the weekends. So are they taking her to Jefferson? We just took somebody there yesterday to Willenboro. Yeah, I never heard of that one either. >> No, that's not Yeah. He doesn't want to go. Clearly. Who's riding You're riding in the ambulance? I'm riding here. Cool. Yeah, I want to get her on in the ambulance. We took somebody yesterday. Yesterday is the weekend. All right, I'll see. Central 36 177. Can you call over to Virtual Willenboro and see if they're accepting skip patients today? The EMS is saying they're closed. Yes, I'm going to get Central to to confirm if they're accepting people or not. Uh that's the boyfriend. Okay. Okay. Call him on the phone. All right. If you just step away, we have the female officer who's going to search her. All right, fine. You can still stand over here. You can sit over there. I'm just going to go to that curb, right? I'll like sit right there. Yeah, sure. That's fine. That's fine. Angiana She spits and stuff, so You got it. Yep. Yes. Hey Ange. My name's Carly. I just got to search you real quick, okay? Is there anything on you that's going to hurt me if I poke and stick you? Okay. Don't cry. You're pretty. Okay. You don't have [ __ ] You know that. It's all right. What's going on here? Okay. Something I can do for you to make you feel better? No. Okay, I just got to check your hair. She's good. How's it going, man? You're feeling all right? 35 177. We did have the arm We copy. Thank you. I'll I'll warn my my boss. All right, if you need us, please let us know. I appreciate it. All right. Yeah. Hopefully under better circumstances. All right, you want to start heading back? Yep. Let's She's under arrest because of like obstruction. Yeah. No, she's under arrest for obstruction cuz she So, basically we were trying to find the keys for the car so the tow truck driver could go to whatever. She's like trying to fit whatever. She's like, "Oh, they're in there. I don't know where they are." Right? So, we asked her, "Hey, can you help the tow truck driver find your keys real quick so you put it up there?" She goes helps him for a little bit. Eventually gets fed up with it. She's like, "No, I'm not not not looking for it." She walks away all that stuff. Then um Then I'm on the passenger side. Somehow she makes her way around. She helps in the driver's seat with her keys. And then we're like, "All right, this isn't good here." We had the the passenger side was open at that time. And then I I can't remember exactly how, but anyway, she ended up somehow locking herself inside the car. And then we were trying to coach her out. Everything was good. We were just going to kind of like buy time. Hopefully, you know, explain everything. But then kind of went downhill. Somehow the the driver side got unlocked. I don't know how it eventually got unlocked. Then she resorted to taking the butterfly knife that was in the That was Yeah, I got it in there. Yeah, she took it. It was sitting on the center console there. And then she just started slicing her legs like that and stuff to to kind of buy time and you know, just whatever. So, that and that's where we're at. And then eventually Yeah. So, yeah, the initial thing that set it off, too, is I I grabbed for the keys in the car to get the keys cuz she was sitting in the driver's seat. I'm like, "Can't let her sit in the driver's seat." And then she grabbed my wrist. And then it kind of went down from there. So. Uh she definitely spit out She definitely spit on Yeah, 100 100% Yeah. All right. Yeah, you want to Yeah, I guess we'll just make our way Yeah, I'll go. Yeah. Okay. You're good. Listen, you didn't give us a hard time at all. So, I appreciate that. Like she once she gets like that, it's like Like once she gets upset like that, dude. Does she have Is she diagnosed with like bipolar? She can't handle [ __ ] like that. Is that an actual like she's diagnosed with that? Like that's a Does she Does she take medication for it or Do you know about how long she's been diagnosed with that for? She's from Vegas. I'm going to sleep in Okay, what is And when did she come to Jersey about? Just to get a Three, four years ago. Thank you. I've never ever even seen her do that [ __ ] before. Like turn her leg, bro. I thought you guys like were bullshitting and I saw her leg. Yeah. So, she's never had any like self-harm things or anything like that. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, so we're going to The important thing is we're going to take her to where she can go get some help, okay? You're probably not going to release her tonight. >> No, definitely not. No, I would I would bet a lot of money on that. So, but the important thing is she's going to stay there for as long as as they deem necessary. Hopefully, they can get her on some medication and She's like, "I can't." It's just [ __ ] up because like I know how she is, bro. Like I know how Like you saw how [ __ ] she is when she gets upset. They're like kind of like They're who's contracted with the hospital for any type of mental health thing. Um so, they they're just the professionals with that. Eventually, she'll speak with a like a doctor, psychiatrist, or psychologist. Um and then they'll go through some things and then, you know, like I said, nothing's really She's not going to get out today. Um they're going to make sure they're going to give her a full look over. She's going to the hospital, so they'll make sure everything's good with her body. Yeah, they'll take they'll take her labs. They'll make sure everything's good with the baby. They'll obviously make sure her legs get treated and everything like that and that she's not no other injuries.
