He opened his eyes, but he still wasn't talking or walking. So, basically they're kind of looking for something like that um for us to kind of observe. I don't know if he's sleeping, but if you don't mind >> [laughter] >> Okay. Okay. Basically take put eyes on him. >> Um he'll come to the door. >> He'll come to the door? Oh, no, well >> [laughter] >> Do you want a candy? >> It's kind of a safety hazard if you're trying to run out the front door. >> [laughter] >> They're trying to hide something in there. >> Um, yeah, so this is like an ongoing thing with It's pretty much DCF. They're kind of It's DCF, the Department of Children and Families. I'm sorry? On the ring? So, I don't have eyes on him, but they said he's walking to the door. So, that was the the sword. The turret? Wow, that was smart. I showed a lot of sign, but they said he walked through the door, but we haven't seen him or anything. Sit down. Sir, do not make me put you in handcuffs. Sit down. Let's talk. Let's talk. We'll talk. I'll tell you I'll tell you everything what's going on, but have Let have a sit down and we'll I'm going to explain everything to you. Just have a seat for me. We're going to explain everything to you. Please have a seat. Please have a seat. Okay. >> What's your name, Mary? >> Yes. >> Mary, can I just have a seat? >> So, the arrest is for a warrant, a federal warrant, and I believe it's fraud. I don't have all the information. It's not something through the city of New Smyrna, but it's something federal. It's a financial thing. >> We've got all our paperwork and everything. >> And that's something that they can explain to a federal judge, but at this time they have enough evidence to come in here and serve an arrest warrant. >> What What was that? Because we've got all the Can I see the warrant? >> We don't have it. They're the ones who >> That is something that can absolutely be done, but right now they need to make sure that he is in handcuffs so that they can complete their their job, and they will explain everything to you. >> be taking him somewhere? >> Yes, they're going to bring him to the office. >> Yes, yes, they're going to bring him to whatever their office is for processing everything like that, and I'm sure whatever paperwork they have as well. So. >> Where's your Where's your son? >> No, he's here. >> He's here? Okay. >> Yeah. I I don't understand. What [clears throat] What happened? >> So, we we really have very limited information as well, okay? But, as far as we know that he's got a warrant. We're here to >> A warrant, but then we can't see the warrant. >> They're the ones who are >> Yeah, they have the warrant. >> But then, can we call our lawyer now? >> Uh if you want >> Yeah, you can absolutely call your lawyer. But, here's But, here's the issue. They're trying to They're trying to >> So, what's going on now that we can't see things in the house anymore? >> So, let them do what they need to do, okay? Just cooperate with us, all right? >> I don't understand um uh what happened. Is it just a hospital or what happened? >> That was That was a DCF. That was a DCF investigation from the hospital. >> separate than us. The DCF was the ones that they called. >> Yeah, they're the ones that asked for the well-being check, though. They're the ones that that require us to come out with them and and do all that. >> The DCF Uh, DCF means DC >> Department of Children and Families. >> Children and Families. Families. And what is it about? >> Basically, they they are ensuring, you know, the welfare of children, whether if they're not you know being neglected or people that can't take care of themselves and stuff like that. They're a division by the through the state of Florida that basically is there to It's like social workers trying to you know help families and stuff like that >> concerned about your husband after after his visit. >> But but but after the doctor's visit? >> Mhm. >> [clears throat] >> What Whose doctor? >> That That I don't know. All good? >> Yes, ma'am. >> What What happened? >> We have arrest warrants for Evan and Josh. >> What What happened? >> Well, he's still in bed. We have one of our paramedics looking at him right now, okay? To make sure he's fit to travel. >> Okay. Okay. >> Can you tell me what happened? We're here with the Uh, she's right there talking to her attorney. Okay. Like is he able-bodied or is he not or is he got like ailments and stuff like >> The sister said that she was that he was walking to the front door to see us. >> Yeah, she said that she would have him walk to the front door, so >> Relax. Sit down. And we'll be out of your hair. >> Yeah, ma'am. >> Ma'am It was. You have federal arrest warrants for your husband and son. Ma'am, that's all I'm going to tell you right now. You have federal arrest warrants for your husband and son. It's electronic. You don't get paperwork for that. They will be going to court to arraign them today. >> Tell us why that Huh? they got to go on a certain way, man. I'm sorry. And I'm going to let you know right now, when we get to where we're going, before we wheel you upstairs, you have to get cuffed in the back. Just so you know, okay? All right. Yeah, we get him through here. Yeah. Get in. Get in and help him. >> I think they want you in >> No, you're going to sit in the back. Your dad's going to go in front of you. We want your dad to sit in the front. Go ahead. Yeah, ease up. Come on. Nice and easy. Give me Evan. Mr. Evan. Come on, Evan. >> So, that's the >> Right there. Do me a favor. Go like this with your hands. Go like this. Can you do this? Okay, do it. Let me see. There you go. Just like that. >> Oh, wow. Yeah. Make sure that they're okay. >> Yeah. Got it. Okay, get the over lock. We're going to sit We're going to wheel you up here. You're going to sit right there in front of Josh, okay? He's going to help you pull up, okay? Okay, right here. All right, ready? 1 2 3, stand up. >> Come on, Evan. >> Come on, Evan. Come on, Evan. Come on, Evan. There you go. There you go, Evan. There you go, Evan. You got it. Climb up. Put him right there. Can you sit right there? Can you reach this? Okay, reach this. >> Yeah, all of this is new. I was literally just here like 3 days ago. When we hit the door the first time you This is off now. That they reinforced all of that. So because we broke Yeah, we broke through the had to break through the glass. Yeah, even all the boxes there was a ladder there like >> Yeah. >> They they knew. They knew. Are they they're not talking? Nobody's saying anything. Yeah, we only you know, we only destroyed the house. >> [laughter] >> This is not the first time we've been here kind of thing. The theft of the 8 million dollars. Yeah, for for him getting in there and then >> Don't take out him in the jail. >> Will they let me help him out? >> Yeah, come on in front. This man can't hardly >> Little by little, little by little. >> You got it. Come on. You got it. You got it. I got you up here. Nice and easy. >> You got to put your foot down. You got to start. >> It would be. >> You going to sit down? You going to help him? >> Yeah. All right, come on. I got you. I got you. Come on. Ready? 1 2 3 up. Up. Up. There you go. >> There you go. >> Yeah, just scoot over. There you go. >> cuz he was in a freaking wheelchair? >> Yeah, I can grab from the other side. Ready? 1 2 3 scooch. >> There you go. Sit up on me, buddy. You got to sit up on me, buddy. Okay, you're good. Where are >> In April 2020, Josh Edwards applied for a multi-million dollar pandemic loan for his family's ministry, As I Am International. On On it looked legit. 486 employees, a $2.7 million monthly payroll, over $51 million in revenue. The government approved $8.4 million, but it was all fake. When investigators went to the ministry's office in Orlando, the door was locked, and the businesses next door said nobody had ever set foot inside. No staff, no payroll, no ministry. The accountant listed on the paperwork had dementia and hadn't worked there since 2017. Meanwhile, the family was trying to buy a $3.7 million luxury mansion right next to Disney World in the exclusive Golden Oak neighborhood. Agents recovered every dollar. Josh pleaded guilty to fraud, and a judge sentenced him to 4 years and 3 months in federal >> Hold on, wait a minute. 4 years. Let me see something. And we still get PPP loans? >> [laughter] >> Oh my goodness, man. >> This is crazy. >> Oh my goodness. So, so the so the man right there, the old guy, he was not the one who did it. >> No. He has dementia. He was scammed. >> I was about to say cuz you know, listen, y'all. Listen, listen. I know people they they they People love You do the time You do the crime, do the time. Yes, yes, I understand. But I was kind of empathetic. I said, "This man old. They're going to put this man in jail like, you know?" >> Yeah. >> Uh I'm going to say this before I get into this. Not taking up for anything. I just can't help but say it cuz I Every time I see videos like this, I just want to say it. I think I find it so funny how in life and I ain't going to dwell on it long. I I find it so funny in life how the businesses, the GOV, everybody can rip us off. Credit card entries and everything can rip us off as people, and that's fine. But, the moment we rip them off, they're ready to get your ass, put you under the jail. I just find that so crazy. They can do what they want to do with us. Charge us high ass interest, uh everything high. >> Property tax. Yes. >> the unnecessary stuff. But, the moment we do it, oh, you going to jail. >> Mhm. >> Where's the fairness in that? >> Right. >> Anyway, that's all I want to say. >> Yeah. >> Anyway, so I remember when these PPP loans came out. You know, you made a joke. We saw all the people would be in jail cuz they were lying. >> And they did a 8 million. >> Yes. >> Damn, in 4 years? >> First of all, it actually makes you think about business details. If you're not a business-minded, business-oriented, or haven't had a business, or are not a CEO, sit on the board, or some type of business, it makes you think when you hear stuff like this, how much money is going into businesses on a day-to-day basis, funneled through different um avenues of income. Half these companies have so much extra money >> Mhm. >> that if this was a legitimate business, they would have had 8 million extra dollars. >> Yeah. >> And nobody would have said anything. >> Right. >> Okay, for example, there were 400, almost 500 um claimed employees, right? This dude went to jail only because he was stupid enough to put use a location where everybody could vouch there was nobody there. >> Uh-huh. That's stupid. And you know, they got to pay it back, though. >> Right. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, and then you didn't realize, okay, at least let me start a business of something. So, when somebody comes along, maybe we could dot up the paperwork something. Like, of course it's all wrong. I'm just saying like I would have at least tried to have a backup for my lies. >> just about to say that. I was about to say it. My bad, I mean it. >> No, you're good. >> just about to say that. If I'm If I'm going to lie and get $8 million, I'm going to take some of that $8 million and start a couple businesses or I would have bought some homes. >> Right. >> Rent them out. >> Yes. >> I did something. >> You were at church. You could have done a number of things. You could have started community organizations and did things legitimately. No, you tried, Mr. Josh. What was his name? Josh? >> Something. >> Whatever his name was. You were going to try and go live next to Disney World. >> [laughter] >> Cuz you want a big house. Your father has dementia. Your mama has no idea more than likely what was going on, but she's living in that house, so she knows something. >> going on. Yeah, I was about to say that. >> come on, bro. You could have done something good for your community. So, at least when they came to get you, you could say, "Yeah, you know what? I did, you know, lie a little bit, but here's all the money." I think that's why they gave him 4 years, too. They were able to recover pretty much all the money cuz he either was sitting on the money or, you know, most of it was probably because of the house that they bought. >> Mhm. >> Um I I don't know exactly how how much the house was worth that they Did they Did they purchase the house or were they about to purchase cuz it looked like the house that they were talking about, it looks like that the one that they came to. >> that's the one that they I think they purchased. >> it could have been I don't know how big it is. It could have been that $8 million house, which is ridiculously unreasonable. >> No, it wasn't $8 million. >> I mean, I ain't even say $8 million house. I mean, cuz some of the purchase for the house I forgot what they said how much the purchase was. But then so that they recouped all the money. So he pretty much was probably just sitting on the money and probably like waiting until hey I'm waiting for a couple years till my dad's gone and you know >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Just stupid man. I I got I got a little mini story >> Mhm. >> that I want to that I want to talk about and I hope he never sees this video. Cuz he probably would beat my ass to be honest. [laughter] But I know this guy who used to live I'm just going to say he lived near me. >> Mhm. >> And he was uh a dope boy. >> Mhm. >> And he got in trouble for allowing people to pay for stuff in his store with food stamps. >> Mhm. >> And I'm not talking about I'm talking about he like anything he'll put they'll buy electronics and he'll put it as a food or something. I don't know how they do that. I don't know how they did it. But he had a he had a store like that sold more than just food. >> Mhm. >> Showed me his bank account and my mom his bank $2 million he had in his bank account and he's bragging about it. >> Mhm. >> But he didn't we didn't know how he got it. We were just assuming that he was a dope boy. All right. And the thing about it is he lived next door to me with his girlfriend but all of a sudden they moved into a nice house. >> Mhm. >> Well, it wasn't a mansion but they moved in a better house. >> Yeah. >> And this guy got caught for doing this and it came out on the news where we're from. And I said I said to myself all that time I thought um well to be honest he already he had other businesses. He did have other businesses but we found out later that he was a dope boy. >> Mhm. >> And he started that business to try to be legit. I didn't know none of this living next to him. I just saw him pull up driving a nice Cadillac. >> Mhm. >> And in my mind I'm like This man This man live in my You see the You know my mom live in It's a regular hood. I said this man living here driving this nice Cadillac I hear and nobody bother him. They not know he was a dope boy. Got $2 million for just being stupid. Why would you do that? And he cried when he had to turn himself in. And he had to pay them $1.5 million back. So what he did to the others, I don't know. >> Damn. >> cried. He said man he just drained my bank account. And my mom was talking to him she said Well, why would you do that? >> Right. >> Why If you know they going to catch up with you why would you do that? >> Yes. I >> It's >> I don't understand. >> I blame society for just making us money hungry and having to survive to We just do dumb stuff just to survive. >> In order to survive. >> In order to survive, man. And it just You just want to live. So that's why they do crazy stuff. But at the same time if I'm going to do something I'm going to do nothing stupid. >> Right. >> my mind. I don't want to do nothing cuz I don't want to get in trouble. >> Right. >> But that's just stupid that you You going to buy a $3 million mansion. I just don't understand it. It's just You got your granddaddy going in and your daddy going in with dementia. >> Yeah. >> Cuz you doing stupid stuff in his name. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> got no more to say. What you got to say? >> I I don't have any more to say either. I just was like you when I saw them putting the cuffs on this man. I'm like y'all really going to put cuffs on this man? >> I was thinking to myself. >> Probably barely know his name. His body is not really able and capable of doing what y'all wanted it to do. Like come on, man. >> he going to do? >> Right. >> That's what I said in my mind, too, man. But they say well, you know, we have to follow the protocol and the law and all this stuff like that. I get it. >> I get it. >> But what the man going to do? >> Right. >> You know what I'm saying? Anyway, thank y'all for being here. Thank y'all for the love support on this channel. And if y'all got them PPP loans y'all ain't paid back cuz y'all lied about them businesses, y'all better get it paid. >> Yeah, buddy. >> what happened right here, man. Until next time, don't get caught slipping. On cam.
