One of them got thrown against the wall by you. I was just sitting there screaming at the top of my lungs cuz I couldn't do anything about it. I didn't know if that was a Also, I was too scared to tell anyone. I have to work tomorrow morning, please. I'm the bread winner and his family. I don't think so. On July 5th, welcome to SNK Unlimited back with another body cam video. Hey, as y'all can see by this title and by that recap, this could be a good one right here. So, let's just get into it. 2023 officers responded to a residence following a report of two children, ages 12 and nine, who ran to a neighbor to report their mother had thrown them against a wall. So, the kids are the one that called. So, there's four kids. You got two here, two and three, and you have the two olders over here. Okay. Um, she said that the ones over here got injured by mom. She doesn't know about the two little kids. That's her biggest concern. She doesn't know. So, she didn't want to approach without and dad's coming over. Yes, dad's way home from work. Good. Uh, who lives here? Mary, are they home? She is. Okay. Is Is there kids here? Do you see kids? Two kids. Yeah. Okay. Does she seem intoxicated at all to you? How she seem That's what I thought it was. Okay. Okay. Since you've been here, have you heard her yelling, screaming, fighting with the kids? anything like that? No. Did you see the other two kids that were at the house? Yeah, there's Well, there's two there. They're across the street. But did you see the other two inside the house? Oh, yeah. The other two are inside the house. Okay. Hello. Hi. Hi. Are you What's your name? Mary's sister. Mary, can I talk to you Mary? My house. Can I talk to you Mary outside? I tried knocking on the door. My best friend. Okay. My babies are here. Okay. Well, there's another officer here. He can stay and watch the kids. Okay. I just want to talk to you. Sorry. There was a the pest control the man. Yeah. The ants right now. So, the reason why we're here is you have two other children, right? Yeah. They left and told Yeah. Okay. Do you know why we're here? Yeah. Cuz they left and said that I was abusing them and I wasn't. Okay. So, why did they run across the street and called for us? Um, that's my oldest son. He's super like angry right now at me. Okay. For so many reasons. And how how old is he? He's 12. He's 12. Okay. And how old is the other one? Uh, nine. Nine. Okay. So, one of I don't know which one it was saying that one of them got thrown against the wall by you. Oh, by me? Mhm. Well, I definitely did not turn my kids against the wall. Okay. At any point in time. Okay. Well, I haven't I haven't spoke to them yet. Um, this is just what my dispatcher gave to me. So, I just want to talk to you first. I understand that. Um, that would be my oldest son. He's really angry right now. I want to put him in counseling. I haven't yet, but I'm sorry. Like, did he get in trouble or did you get mad at him for something? No. Well, I'm always mad at him. He's always like doing something, but I would never hit him. I would never throw him across the Okay. across the room. Maybe you disciplined him like he didn't like like it. Like I told him he couldn't play his video games. That's about it. Yeah. No physical like disciplining. No. I told him he couldn't play his video games. Okay. How much have you had to drink? Quite a bit. Quite a bit. Okay. And I think your husband's on on his way home. You know, I always do my little midway pause. I can tell as soon as I saw her face, the way her eyes like standing on the other side and and she drooping down and she kind of like a little woozy. I said she been drinking. And I do have to say, I don't know the whole story yet, but it's something about when a child becomes almost like a teenager, they do be angry. There something about them, they just they change. They start rebelling. I don't know what happens when they they about to approach the teenage years. They get crazy. They don't want to talk to you no more. And I'm going to say that in her defense. I I kind of believe that part that sometime the kids do be disrespectful. I don't I don't know what it is about it. And they get mad when you turn the Wi-Fi off. Are you stuck? Or if you don't want to take the games away. So on that end, I kind of like Yeah. But I got to see the whole story first, too. So I think he called his dad as well. So That's not his biological daddy or your husband was coming over. I just want to get your side of the story, see what's going. Okay. So, I'm just doing mine investigation and I appreciate it. Mhm. And my number one concern is just making sure the kids are okay. The kids are okay. And those two seem fine, you know. Um, I haven't personally checked on the other two, but the neighbors across the street is with them. Oldest son will say something like I don't know, man. He's just Okay. And what is your son's name? And you have four together, right? All boys. Okay. And you your name is What was your first name again? Mary. Mary. Mary. What's your last name? Simpson. Simpson. Can I go check on her? Um, yeah. So, I I can bring them over if you would like. No. Can I go check on my babies? Oh, yeah. Yeah. The other officer is checking on stuff. Where's he coming from? What do you mean? Like he's coming from work, right? Where does he work at? Oh, no. He's coming from God knows where. Yeah. No, he's coming from work today. Today. Yeah. Okay. All right. And is everything going okay here at the home with you guys? All right, listen. I I drink. And then my older kid was like, I don't like it when you drink. And so he decided to throw a big fit about it. And he left. So I tried to call my husband, but my phone's not working cuz it says cellular data not available. So I can't even call anybody. And I'm just here with the kids and then our older kids left and All right. So nothing nothing physical, right? I just want to make sure. No, nothing physical. So you can head back over there in the room. I'm going to go talk to the other kids. Okay. Hey. Hey. Um we'll just that I love him and like I'm going to be super mad at me right now. Okay. And um Okay. All right. I'm sorry. So, what did they tell you? Cuz they ran over here, right? They ran over here. Mhm. Calvin was crying. Landon said my mom was gone insane. Mhm. She threw me into the wall. She's drunk and she told me to run away. I asked him if he'd be comfortable telling police officer. His exact words were, "I'll tell them anything without." So, okay. And he just told this officer that he did some damage to her trying to get away. So, I'm Officer Chief. Um, I'm just going to Officer what? Chief. Officer Chief. Hello, Chief. So, if you want to sit down, so I'm just going to ask you a few questions. Okay. Um, so what exactly happened? So, well, so she busted. So she's has a serious serious drinking problem. Okay. And and she was pretty intoxicated. Yeah. He was really drunk. Yeah. And so slammed against the wall. Um him pulled his hair. Mhm. Um I was just sitting there screaming at the top of my lungs cuz I couldn't do anything about it. So we were calling our dad. We we were calling dad and then he wanted us to stay on the phone to make sure everything was okay. So, we were just going to stay on the phone with him until he got home and she starts banging on the door like pounding on it. And then she tries to get me to leave. And then she and then and then I say, "Dad told me to stay cuz I feel safe alone with you." So, I stayed and then uh mom came in like two seconds later and and then uh she started like climbing on the bed and Calvin was getting all scared. She was grabbing his feet, telling him, "Give me the phone." And then me being a brother, I was saying, "Don't touch him." Cuz I was afraid she was going to hurt him. And she got up, shoved me in the wall, hit me, she threw me on the ground. She tried to bodyslit me, I think, but it went horribly wrong. She hit her back on the metal bar. So, did she were you were you standing up when she shoved you? Yeah, she did. And then she grabbed me, threw me on the ground, picked me up, tried to She hit herself on the bar and then I I was able to turn around. I hit her a few times and she let go and we were able to run away. We came here and that's basically it. She also did tell me a few times that she wants me to run away. She wants us to leave. She says that everyone hates me and so yeah and that's about it. So I um had the idea of coming here. She did at some point did do this. I didn't know if it was abuse but she did throw me at the wall sometime when I was 10 and then she threw me on the ground. I didn't know if that was abuse. Also I was too scared to tell anyone. Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere? I just got a few scratches. A few scratches. Can I see them? There's nothing really there. a little bit red in your cheek. So, it's a little red or is that from the heat? I did. She did hit me a few times. Okay. This is just from the sunburn right here, but I feel something right here, but I don't know. No, it's a little bit red, but I can't. But you do have a scratch right here. Is that from her? Yeah. Do you guys feel safe going back over there? No. Not unless she's gone. Okay. Or in cuffs. So, you don't want to go back over there? No. must dad or uncle is there. We're not going back. Okay. Is that your dad outside? Oh, yeah. That's his car. That's That's your dad. I'm really worried about the babies, though. So, the other officer is over there with the two kids. Um they're fine. They're in the back room. So, I'm going to go make a phone call real quick. Okay. Um you guys can just hang out here. Okay. I got to say, man, I love how mature both of them sound, man. The way he's talking, the way he's explaining it, man. And you know, I I just love that maturity in um in kids, man. That that's like that's like Yeah. The way he he's like he more mature than his mom is. I like that. Okay. Thank you. Thank you guys. Want to make a call to sergeant? Yeah. The dad's here, so I'm going to go talk to him and see what he wants to do. Yeah, he's sober. I was just going to call u CFD. Um I'm going to go hook her for Charlie. So, talk to Swink if you want to see if dad can kiddos or if he's good here. Okay. How old are the kids over there? They're born in like 2020 and 2021. So, about three two moms. I'm just trying to think how we keep the kids from seeing the mom get arrested. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Say, "Hey, can you come out here and talk? I just want to finish the stadium and just give her some wine, whatever line you want to give her, and then hook her out here." So, my plan was to just bring my unit up closer. Okay. Um, the two kiddos can stay with Jojo inside the house and I'll bring her out and I can just hook her that way. And the other two are inside the house. So, okay. And I'll make sure, but I want to make sure that both those kids in there are biological and both these ones are biological, right? Do we know that? So, one of them is step step kiddo. I think the oldest one is Simpson. So, that's his step kid, but they all live together. fine cuz we all live under his roof and he's been taking taking care of you for years, right? Mhm. I imagine. Yeah. Okay. Just stay with the kiddos inside. I'm going to talk to you outside. Okay. Real quick. Me? Yes. Stay inside. Okay. If you want to put some shoes on real quick. Am I being arrested? Can you put some shoes on for me, please? Careful. Watch your foot. No, we're going to stay in here. All right. So, I don't want to do it in front of the kids. Okay. Um, just just walk and then Do you have anything on you? No. No. Okay. So, just based on what your son was telling me, um, he does have some injuries. Okay. Wait, who has injuries? Your oldest one. From what? So, you saying that you threw him against the wall, you were hitting him. You picked him up and tried to body slam him pretty much. Okay. Okay. So, go ahead. Turn around for me, please. So, your husband is going to be with the kids. Okay. Do you need me to tell your husband anything? I mean, I have to work tomorrow morning. Like, what was that? I have to work tomorrow morning. Like, I'm the bread winner in the family. I don't So, you have you have to see the judge tomorrow morning. Okay. And then they'll the judge will tell you what to do from there. Okay. So, you'll probably get out tomorrow, stay in. I don't know. It's up to the judge. But you do have to see him in the morning first. Okay. All right, go ahead and step out. Have you been here before? No. The woman was charged with abuse of a child, thirdderee felony. One of them got thrown against the wall. Wow. That's a crazy case right there. I'm a person when I talk, I I look at both sides of everything. I just don't look at things one-sided. When something is done to a kid, nobody want to hear nothing like, "No, uh-uh. Throw away. throw in the jail, blah blah blah blah blah. Um, but I'm the kind of person I do agree with that, but at the same time, I look at both sides, man. I'm gonna be honest with you, man. I'm going to say this. When I talk to a lot of people because the job that I do, I um I do a lot of talking and I talk to a lot of people and a lot of people have anger issues. A lot of people are stressed from having kids. A lot of people are stressed from their jobs, high prices, everything blah blah blah blah. You know, the way the world is. And a lot of people don't know how to handle their frustration. So that's why they drink so much. They they turn to alcohol. They don't know how to handle. They take the stress out on the kids because they're so unhappy with their life. And I'm not I'm not taking up for her. But that may be something that she's experiencing. And sometime people, that's why she said, "You can run away. You can just go." Because she's so stressed with her life. Like she said, I'm the bread winner. And I don't know what the fathers do for the kids. I'm not sure. I'm not going to talk. I don't know. I don't know the lifestyles. So, on that end, I understand she may be stressed. That's why she turned to a lot of drinking. That's why she said, "Um, get out of here. You can run away." I'm I'm just speaking from the other side. But no matter what, you should not abuse those kids because they didn't ask to be here. Get what I'm saying? You laid down, you wanted kids, they had them. You shouldn't abuse them. I'm just I don't care how stressed you are. Just man, just just say, "Hey, can you I'm going to give y'all to your dad for a couple days or a week. Let me calm down. Let me get my life better or something." That's just the way I feel about it. I don't care how stressed you out. You should not took it out on the kids because that's not their fault. They didn't ask to be here. But I just like to look at both sides of the stories. I do feel people's aggravation and and heartache, especially in this economy and especially where things are. Some people don't know how to handle it, so they just turn to alcohol. And but I like how calm she was. She went in the car, she's like, "Oh, wait. I just I gotta get arrested, you know. Um, and I love how mature those kids was, man. Shout out to the kids on this." But I just think this one of those things, man. No matter what, you shouldn't abuse your kids, man. Cuz that that to miss them for a long time. That's why men grow up and kids grow up to be mean and tough and they become uh abusers. So, you know what I'm saying? Like they saw their mama did did those things to them. So they say, "Hey, I'm going to do it to somebody else." But on this right here, man, I just feel like uh she should stop drinking for number one and get her life in check and get her mental right. You know what I'm saying? Hey, she belongs where she at right now. That's all I can say about that, man. I don't let nobody hurt the kids. You feel me? So y'all let me know what y'all think about this in the comments.
