One drink. One drink. Okay. What's your highest level of education? Masters. Masters degree. Okay. So, are you familiar with the English alphabet? Yes. Okay. So, without singing. Okay. Do you have any issues with your balance, coordination, anything? I don't think so at this moment. So, what we want you to do is just kind of hang out there. I'm going to explain the test. I'm going to have you do them. Okay. Yes. The first test is going to be called the walking turn. Yeah. Do you want to pop those off? You're going to you're going to I'm going to have you walking around on one's foot. Do you want to take those off? No, I'm fine. You don't have to. But you sure you don't you you're I'm going to have you walking in a line. Do you want to take them off? That's fine. It's fine. It's really That's fine. Yes. Like I said, the first test, the walk and turn. Okay. What you're going to do, you're going to start like this. Okay. Your hands going to be down at your side. Your left foot's going to go over your right. Okay. You're going to do nine heel to toe steps while counting out loud. Okay. So, look like this. One, two, nine steps. Three, four, five, all the way to nine. When you get to nine, a series of small steps to make a 180, and you're going to do nine heel totoe steps all the way back. Okay. Okay. So, you're going to start like this, like I said, nine heel to toe, series of small steps, nine heel to toe back. When you're doing it, you're going to count out loud. Okay. Okay. Really not too hard. Do you want to get in the starting position over here? Okay. You can begin when ready. Okay. Do you have any questions for me? No. Okay. Begin when ready. 1 2 3 4 5. And then 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9. Good. All right. The next test has be the one leg stand. Okay. I'm going to have you do again. I'm going to demonstrate. You're just going to hang out. Watch me. Okay. Feet together, hands at your side, leg of your choice. It could be your left, could be your right, whatever you're comfortable with. You're going to pick it up 6 in off the deck. You're going to count out loud. Okay? It's going to be like this. 1 1,00 2 100 3 100 4 100 5 1,000 all the way to 30. Once you hit 30, going to put it back down. 30. Like I said, 1 100 1,00 2 100 3 100 all the way to 30. When you hit 30, you go back down to normal. Okay. Any questions? All you're doing is this for 30 seconds. Any questions? Okay. Begin when ready. Okay. [Music] Yeah, [Music] it's hardening the skills, but it's okay. Is that not long enough? Are you done? Okay, next test. Feet together, hands at your side. What you're going to do is you're going to close your eyes and you're going to tilt your head all the way back like this. Okay? And you're going to count to 30 in your head. Okay? All you're doing, feet together, hands at your side, eyes closed, lean back. You're going to count to 30 in your head. Okay? When you when you hit 30, you're going to go back to normal. It's real simple. Just this to 30. You hit 30, go back to normal. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Any questions for me? Okay, you can begin the test when ready. Yeah. Or Chris or Kevin. What? I already did. No, I know. It's time to run that deal. I can come down. All right, we we're going to have another officer from Mama's Beach come here. He's going to check your eyes. All right. Just hang out tight for a second. What's up, dude? Want to tip this thing? Steel bumper and all that. You don't have to. Are you sure you don't? I'm going to have you walking in the line. You want to take your We got this on try this. Okay. Your hands be down your side. It sounded bad. I heard [ __ ] crunch. This thing is like hang or is that for the uh backup key? That's uh it's it's an access port for the uh spare tire. That's how you screw the tire down. Oh, okay. County 43 216. That DL I gave you. Can you just check that uh all around, please? Where do you where do you She hit it. I can't I was looking. You know what I mean? Like Yeah. But if it hit like you feel that thing, it's not Yo. Yeah. It's not going nowhere. I can that little piece that's out right there. That is already out. That that truck's all right. That's good. She's got she know that. Yeah. Robbie said it's for the fire access. Yeah. I'm not I don't know anything about all that. So [Music] who are you or just friends right here? Who are you? Yeah. Do you have a means of uh getting out of here if you end up going on 500 bucks? Uh I wouldn't actually doubt you know what I mean. So actually pretty slip it right back in. That's fiberglass. It's right here. What? The popped out piece. Jeez. Come on, man. One piece is about like 500 bucks. Uh, I wouldn't actually doubt that. Actually, pretty stone fact. Slap it right back in. That's fiberglass. Yeah, just cheap ass plastic. Very You ever hear anything? Is there a damage? I hear thirst. Excuse me. I'm sorry. Is there a damage to this car? I thought I hit the ball. No, no, you hit the car. I heard it. Did you see it? Yeah. Or you just hear it? I heard it and I saw it. Oh, I saw it. Is there We were standing right there. No, that's fine. But is there a damage to the car? Because doesn't matter if they're damage or not. You still hit it and you drove away. You had no intention of stopping. So technically, you're fleeing the scene of an accident. Even if we were flashing lights at you, we were yelling at you. You weren't stopping. If you were going to stop and report the accident, you would have stopped right where it was. You were telling me that 14 ft from supposedly hitting a car is not stopping. Somebody's yelling and flashing. Look, when there's an accident, we have to intervene, right? It's our job. I totally understand. I We were trying to flag you down. We're flashing lights at you, yelling at you. You kept on trying to drive. If there was no If there was no car park in front of you, I'm fully confident that you would have kept driving through the parking lot. You had absolutely zero intention of stopping. Otherwise, you would have stopped. Listen, 14 ft away from something. That's I'm not saying I'm not saying that I'm going to charge you with leaving the scene of an accident. You're charging me with leaving a scene 14 ft. I didn't say that I was going to. Yes, you did. No, I didn't. I said technically you are the No. Yes, you did. You can you can believe what you want. There's no technically. There's no technically because look how what is the distance? It doesn't matter. What is the It's not an intent. Listen, I stopped. Stop. I didn't I didn't even make a straight line to go out. Okay. And you're telling me there's intent? Okay. I'm not going to argue with you. I'm not going right back. Of course, you're not going to argue with me because you are not 100% sure of what you're saying. I know you have a responsibility. Believe me, my father was a cop. Okay. I know you have a responsibility, but 14 ft away from something that I didn't even get a chance to go straight. All right, it's not fleeting. It's not fleeting. It's not fleeing. I'm sorry. Okay. Okay. You're right. I'm sorry. No, don't be sorry. It's just be sure what you're saying. You need to be sure what you're saying. You know, you don't need to say I'm sorry. I didn't even get straight. I'm not fleeing. Okay. You can you can get whoever you want to test me. Hold on. Don't go back in your car. Don't go back in your car. Don't go back in your car. Do not get in that car. Shut the door. You can. Just don't. It's It's making a noise, you know. The means to go. All I asked was, "Do you have a way out of here if she ends up coming with us?" And I think you know what I mean by that. Well, what do you mean? So, a way out. So if I have to Uber somewhere, so I could take her car and I car if she goes with us, the car gets towed for 12 hours. So why would the car get why would the car get towed? It's called John's law. Someone gets arrested for driving while intoxicated in New Jersey, the car has to get towed. It's a state law. So is that what she's being charged for? She potentially will be in a few minutes. If we we need an officer here who's certified to run certain tests. That's why I'm asking. I'm trying to give you give you courtesy to maybe if that does happen, if you have someone who lives locally, you might want to come pick you up and leave you sitting in our headquarters for 2 hours. Uber is the case. It's making a noise and I didn't even make a straight. I stopped as soon as I saw what you guys wanted. You wanted me to stop. Okay. So, I stopped. I didn't even make a turn to go straight. This is not fleeting. I'm sorry. And I'm going to make a video of it. So I understand your point of view. I understand you are protecting the community, but let's do it the right way. If this is the the last case that you could make today for someone to leave this place supposedly drunk and you caught them, I can This is really a bad case. Yes. Yes. Just please call the rest of the squad unless it falls off. Just call the rest of what? No. Uh she not she not right there. That's why those little things in the back of the the spare tire in the back. She smashed it right there. Dude, that thing pops out. Put like 400 [ __ ] Yeah, that's for a spare tire. You just stick the tire on. [ __ ] expensive. You know how expensive those things are to replace this? I believe it. So, how'd that pop out? What? She put the support underneath the Oh, we got h way now. I guess my radio transmission didn't go through. Nice job. Thanks. Still works. Guys want any water or anything? No, thank you. You can check my you can check my negative how many drinks I have. Okay. So you can also check that. Yes, ma'am. I'm sorry. I didn't hear you. I didn't say anything. Oh, I thought you did. Like TR1 and everything. Can I have your driver's license, please? For what reason? cuz you're technically the passenger in a crash. I need your information. A crash there. There was a motor vehicle accident. That's the whole reason why we're here. No, I have no idea that the driver backed into this antique pickup sitting here. That's That's why we intervene. That's why we stopped you. That's why this is the whole thing. She backed out of the spot. She hit that, put it in drive, and kept. All right. All right. All right. All right. Here, I'll give you a light so you can see. Yeah. Thank you. There you go. Thank you. Would you mind just checking? Robbie, did you get a reg or anything or no? Would you mind just popping that and see if the registration's in there? Yeah, here it is. There you go. Go ahead. Bravo 11. [Applause] Is that what you mean? Hi. What was that? Should I try and find a van or something? I mean, I don't really know what to do. Uh, we'll have to figure that out. I know it's not registered. Hold on a second. Hey, give me one sec. Would you please show me the damage to the car? Okay, it's right here on the bumper. It's scuffed up. See the scratches right there? the scratches that go vertically. Are you serious? I'm dead serious. Are you serious? I'm serious. Now, go stand by your vehicle like I told you to. Go lean up against your vehicle, please. You are really not. That's more for being so curious. Uh just some old vehicle action just looking at the car individ. No, we I just I know it's not registered, you know. Yeah. Ma'am. Hey. Ma'am, stand behind your vehicle where I told you to. Otherwise, I'm going to detain you in handcuffs until the other officer gets here. You can't follow directions. That's ridiculous. Ridiculous. I'm going to have to take my license, too. [Music] The whole night of drinking because I am the victim of the whole night of drinking. Check my receipt. I want to see I want you to pro provide the receipt. All right. This has I want you to in motor vehicle accident. We didn't pick you out. I understand. But you have to prove it. Maggie, you need to prove it. Maggie, stop. Can I have my license back, please? Not right now. Why? Cuz I need it. Oh my god. Suzanne, one moment. Just one moment. They need to this new dispatcher. We're taking chances that she attached it properly. What? Yeah.
