All three of you stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. You being detained. Shop lifting. >> I already know they guilty to the girl in the middle. Look at the girl. >> She did. I ain't paying attention. You being detained. >> All right there. She know they was caught. >> Yep. >> You can just take the bags. >> Yep. >> I'm trying to let it 124. >> All right. >> Just came out here. >> What is the outside mall? >> We're going to take you out of here. She's in the hallway. Second one 90 here. >> I got 90 here. >> She just come out the mall. >> How old are you? How old are you? >> Yeah, sure. >> How old are you? >> Yeah. Oh, okay. >> I can't hear what y'all saying. What y'all saying? >> I ain't heard nothing. 10-12. I think the one with the bonnet. >> Well. >> When I don't see her >> You guys are going to need to go the other way. This area is closed. Go on standing at the wall. >> All right. Do you know Do you know here? >> Yeah. >> Why are we here? >> Victoria's Secret. >> What happened in Victoria's Secret? I wasn't there. I was on a bike. So, you tell me. Obviously, we're here for a reason, but what happened in Victoria's Secret? >> I don't know. That's what he said. >> What What did you guys do in Victoria's Secret? You said you know why we're here. So, >> I was just talking >> but do you know why we're here? What was your part in Victoria's Secret? What you guys were doing? Did you take anything? Did you not take anything? The surveillance is going to say otherwise. So, just remember you're being watched. So, what was your part? Honesty is always best policy. You've never been arrested before? No? You just haven't gotten caught? >> Mhm. Caught for a lot of stuff. >> Shoplifted before? No? So, just because he said something happened in Victoria's Secret, what happened? What was your part? It's okay. You can be honest. You don't want to talk? That's it? That's it? Why are we here? >> I came to get something for my trip. >> You came to get something for your trip? What What kind of What did you come to get? Guys, can you go the other way? >> I'm not going >> Other way. >> I came to get a Nike top. That's it. >> Okay, so I got a receipt. >> I bought some Nike tops. You see it here, isn't it? >> No. You were seen never seen going to the red shirt. We watched you. Can you Can you listen? You came from the store with an empty bag or for your car with an empty Nike bag. Okay, you were watched from the whole time. >> So dumb. So dumb. >> So, don't play that game. >> You were seen coming with an empty bag. >> So, don't lie. Tell us what you were doing in Victoria's Secret. >> I bought panties from >> You never went to the cash register. >> I can show you the receipt on my phone. >> You Receipts [clears throat] don't go on the phone, sweetheart. >> I swear to God >> No. not. >> We watched you go in there. >> Sweetheart, if there's even a receipt in that bag, you can >> There isn't. >> So, I didn't buy nothing out that store? >> No, you never were seen going to that register. You guys are seen concealing items. >> [laughter] >> Oh my goodness, man. >> So, don't lie. Stop lying. Be honest. This is what's going to hem you up. You're not. >> I swear to god on everything I love and being honest. >> That's cool. It'll go in the affidavit. >> Oh my god. >> Yeah, but I'm just telling you the truth, like >> There is no receipt. There is no receipt. >> There's a receipt on my email. Like, you can literally pull my phone out and look at it. >> You never went to the register. So, what did you do? AirDrop it or something? >> How did I AirDrop it? >> I don't know. You never went to the register, so how did you pay for something? >> show you. >> How? I'm I'm I'm telling you you were watched the entire time in the store. You never went to the register to pay for anything. >> She ain't answering the phone. Stop. >> Yeah, I was thinking that, too. >> You never went there. That's what I said. They AirDropped it. >> I was just thinking that. >> Some special technique? Tell me. Please, be honest. This is your chance. You didn't You did not go to the register. >> How you going to tell me? >> We watched you the entire time. >> You couldn't have been. >> Yeah, we did. I did not, no. But, we have enough people that did. And that's why you three are detained right now. Because you were watched concealing items and walking past the point of sale and stealing. Cuz there's nothing to show. I don't know how you're going to show me when you never went to the cash register. You never checked out, no. You're detained. You cannot get on your phone. >> I don't even got to unlock it. I don't got to use put it on. >> I want to know how you went to the register, when you went to the register, when you were watched the entire time concealing. Cuz once we leave here, you're going in my car. So, you tell me, how did you go to the register? >> I walked to the register and gave the money out my purse, like a normal person would, right? >> But, you never went to the register. >> Y'all got it. >> going it? You're going to stick with it? Okay, cool. Next one. What's going on right now? Why are you in the cops right now? Why are we stopping out here? What happened? You don't want to talk? Okay. So, you don't want to give your side of the story? >> Mhm. >> Cuz all I'm All I'm going off of is what we have and what we've seen you guys do. So, we're giving you an option to talk if you want to. But, if you choose not to, that's fine. You don't want to talk? Okay. You may have one receipt, but it's not enough for what you guys took. >> That's just for what I took. >> Y'all can't show me nothing else that I took. >> You were seen, all of you working together. Choosing items together, working together in concert to steal. Doesn't matter if one person has the item and they walk out of the store with it. You are all are taking the ride for it. I'm just being honest with you. That's how it works. Can you show the receipt you got there quick? >> I was buying a bunch. >> Okay, man. Let's Let's see the Oh, I can't see this. >> I know. We're doing more of >> Let me see it. >> I'm sorry. I don't want to show you. >> Okay, that's fine. Hey. Okay. Um No, so the one with the >> It's not from today of it. >> purchased something >> probably from earlier today, but not from today. >> today a pair of red or what color underwear were they? blue and white underwear >> I thought you said it was pink and black. >> at 3:18 after tax. So, one item in that bag was paid for. So, yes, that was one item. Yeah, yeah. She has it on her phone, too. But, that But, they walked out of the store. You know what? >> Can you sit in my bathroom? >> Yeah, I have to go to the bathroom. >> All merchandise was recovered and returned to the store, but the incident still resulted in arrests after officers claimed they watched the entire situation unfold from start to finish. Cases like this are becoming more common as police departments and retailers increase undercover operations to crack down on organized retail theft. But, what do you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments. >> And you know, man, you know the you know the thing about it, man, it's so crazy. We, not saying me and you, but we as people are taught so wrong. We are taught not to talk. >> Mhm. >> We're taught We're taught so wrong and backwards. >> Mhm. >> Like We don't That's That's how you know when people are are guilty. >> Mhm. >> They don't want to talk. >> Yeah. >> When you're innocent, you going to talk. >> Yep. >> You're going to talk for yourself. I didn't do this. I was right here. I did this. Blah blah blah blah When you don't want to talk, that's that's how I know if I was a cop, that's how I know if a person is guilty. >> Mhm. >> If you arrest somebody and they're not guilty, they're going to blab away. Cuz they're going to protect themself. They say, "Sir, I didn't do this. I didn't do that." They say, "Do you want a lawyer?" They're going to say, "No, I don't want a lawyer cuz I'm innocent. I don't need no lawyer. I'm telling you what I didn't do." >> Mhm. >> When a person you say something, "You're under arrest." "I'm going to talk. Give me my lawyer." >> Mhm. >> That's You're guilty right there. >> Right. >> That's Why would you need a lawyer if you're innocent? >> Right. Exactly. >> When they shut down, "I don't want to talk." Cuz you know you're guilty. >> Mhm. >> Just be on Cameras are everywhere. >> Mhm. Yeah. >> Your phone is a camera, a walking GPS system tracking you. >> Cameras in them bad weaves y'all had on. Cameras everywhere. >> [laughter] >> You stop talking to I'm talking to y'all. >> Yeah. >> I'm just talking to y'all. I'm just playing around. >> Yeah. >> But, cameras are watching you everywhere. Why would you lie about something that they could see? >> Right, exactly. I I don't understand it myself. Um Uh >> [clears throat] >> let me just chalk it up to just being young and dumb. >> Mhm. >> I've been young, I've been dumb. I I I wasn't a saint when I was young. I done stole out the store like Um I was too Now, this is crazy. I was too scared to steal big things or multiple things. I have only stole out the store at least once or twice. But, it was when I was coerced >> or coerced, whatever the word. >> Mhm. >> By a young I mean um by a another girl >> Mhm. >> who was a bad influence. I never stole out the store when I was going to the store myself. I never thought about it. I never considered it. It's only when I was with somebody else and they tried to say "Girl, you need to get this. Girl, you need to get that." And I was like, "Okay." We stole a little little bottle little liquor things. >> For them little >> Yeah. That's the only time I've ever stole something out the store, I think. >> I got a story too about that, too. >> Um I may have stole a hot dog, but I was with that same girl. That same freaking girl was telling me to steal stuff. And if I would have never been friends with her, I probably would have um never stole anything out the store myself. >> Right. >> Um I think that's the case with these girls. >> Mhm. >> It was somebody's idea, "Y'all, let's go to the store and steal something." >> Yep. >> Um so, this is another reason why they probably didn't talk because they were all in it together and you feel like, "I don't want to tell on my friends." >> That's what it is. >> Um but, me knowing me, if if I'm with other people and I didn't steal, I'mma tell on you. I'm sorry. >> Yeah, I'm not going to jail. >> Even if you call me a snitch, even if you call me a rat, even if you say you're not my friend after this, oh well, I ain't going to jail with you. I ain't going to jail for you. >> That's me. >> That's going to be me. >> that that that that BS they have in the black community about not snitching. >> Mhm. >> I I I mean, listen, I'm not going to jail. Now, if I ain't seen it, I ain't saying nothing. >> Right. >> You know, I don't know. That ain't my business. >> Right. >> But if I know, I'm not going to and they say, "Well, you you can go to jail 30 years with them." So and so and so and so and so I'm I'm not I'm not going to jail. I'm sorry. I I don't have that policy. >> Yeah. >> I don't I don't I don't live by that. You know what I'm saying? >> Mhm. >> But um let me say this much. Uh want to say something. I stole too when I was younger. I was a little boy. I had a fascination for red pens. >> Mhm. >> I don't know what it was about red pens. You have some weird things when you're a child. >> Uh-huh. >> I would go in a store called Family Dollar and I would steal the red pen and I would collect them. And I don't know what made me steal them and they caught me one day. And my mom I think my mom punished me for it or what I can't remember what it was, but I was I just I was stealing red pens. I'm not going to lie. When I got older and I was maybe like teens, I was like maybe 17, 18, 19, we had this little shop called Hot Spot. >> Mhm. >> And they had the little hot dogs. You know the little what do you call them on the thing? >> Oh, yeah, the spirals thing. >> Spiral thing, yeah. >> [snorts] >> And they had the chili. So what I would do, they would have the hot dogs for 49 cent and the sausage dog for 69 cent. >> Yep. >> So what I would do was I'll put the sausage dog >> Yes. >> instead of the hot dog and telling them that it's a hot dog. >> That's what I'm [laughter] talking about. That's exactly what I'm talking about. I did that. I did that. >> You know what I'm saying? And sometimes we'll put two or three >> Two Yes, you put two two hot dogs in there and then you um >> No, sausage dog. >> Yeah, and then you go home and use your little other little bun and what not. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, I mean, they for some reason, maybe if I taste it now, I'll probably be disgusted. >> Yes. >> But back in the day, that chili >> Oh, yes, it was so >> hot dogs, you tell I'm big. Look at my ass. Them hot dogs and chili, them things was good, man. So, I have done stuff like that. But to literally go in a big store and steal something like Walmart and Target and all that stuff I go to, hell no. >> No, I was scared. We I was That's what I was talking about, a gas station. I think most people have probably uh and did something as a teen >> Uh-huh. >> at a gas station or it could have been maybe y'all local mall or something like that. I was too scared to do stuff at big stores. I was like, no. Cuz if I ever get, you know, in trouble, like I can't come back to the store no more. I was like, nah, I ain't doing this. >> Yeah. Nah, that's just ridiculous. They They don't They don't steal hot dogs and all and candy now. >> Yep. >> They go and they steal watches, um >> Mhm. >> hair, nails, everything. We did one of the girls stealing the wigs. >> Yeah. >> Oh my god, dog, come on, man. >> Yeah, as an adult, like I I have never done anything, but I unintentionally stole some lipstick one time. I thought I had put it back and I didn't when I got when I got in the back home, I was like, I brought no lipstick. >> Yep. I am telling you that happened to me one time. To this day, happened to me at one time at Wally World. >> Mhm. >> Unintentionally. I like to get oranges. And you know, you had to weigh the oranges. And you know how you go to the self-checkout, you check everything out. I still had some oranges >> Mhm. >> uh inside the the buggy. >> Yeah, yeah. >> It was like two or three oranges. And I was steady putting my bags when I was bagging up and I forgot about it. And I rolled out there and I said, oh, shoot. I I ain't calculate the oranges. And I was scared to go back in >> Mhm. >> cuz they would have said, you stole it. Yeah. That was the only time that ever happened to me. And I was like I was scared. My mind My mind kept on saying, "Go back. Go back. Go back." But I was scared cuz they would have thought that I would actually stole it. >> Yeah. >> I should have just said, you know, I It was down there by mistake. >> Yeah. I've done that with eggs, too. >> Yeah, I have done that. >> And some paper towel. But I didn't I didn't end up going back and like kind of like paying for it later, but >> Yeah. >> When you don't When you just like in the midst of grocery shopping and stuff like that, sometimes things just >> have done that, but intentionally they know. I ain't trying to go to jail for that, man. Then get banned from my favorite store, I ain't going in there. >> [laughter] >> I ain't doing that. Y'all Y'all Y'all I don't understand. And then y'all are so young, man, like >> Yeah. >> Y'all ain't got no This generation ain't got no excuse to not be making no money. Internet DoorDash >> Mhm. >> All kind of stuff. I don't want to say cuz you be getting mad when I say certain >> [laughter] >> certain site. >> Yeah. >> You You ain't got no reason to be broke these days being young, man. Things are more expensive. You may have to do mul- multiple things to live. >> Yeah. >> But you ain't got no reason to be broke cuz money to be made out here, especially the younger you are. >> Yeah. >> That's all I really got to say, y'all.
