What's good everybody? Welcome back to SNK Unlimited. We back with another video. Shout out to Midwest Crime for this video. This video is for educational and reaction purposes. As you can tell by the title, this going to be a wild one. So, let's just get into it. It was around 9:30 p.m. on January 24th, 2023 when officers responded to a home on Karth Road in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. The man inside, 33-year-old Daniel Lauren Homegrren, had missed a court appearance tied to a domestic assault charge. Officers knew he was inside. What they didn't know was how this would end. Hi, it's just the police. Just have a quick question for you, ma'am. Hi. Sorry to bug you. Hey, can I talk to Dan just real quick? Yeah. Okay. I just have a quick question for him about an old case that we just need to clear up real quick. What's wrong? Is something wrong? No, nothing's wrong, hun. Yeah, I know. I know you, too. Yeah. Long time no talk. Yeah. Hey, you want to hold the door for a minute? Sure. Come in for a second. Yeah, sure. Yeah, he's at the door. Just tell him it's Officer Chic. Maybe he'll remember. Our coverage is made possible by Morgan and Morgan. If you've been seriously hurt, your injury could be worth millions. And you might never know unless you fight for real just I'll be back. He said he didn't do anything wrong. Okay. All right. Well, something wrong. Well, he has a warrant right now that we need to try to take care of for him. So, I've been we we have a history, so I just wanted to come here myself and just advise him of it. So, you know what I mean? Yeah. So, yeah, before he gets picked up by somebody else. So, I didn't know. Yeah. Well, I'm sure uh I'm not sure what I'm not Connor. Do you even know what it was for? Uh, okay. So, Dan, you want me to tell him that or Yeah. Can I just talk to him from here? He's not You can't just talk to him like that. Hey, Dan. You have a warrant. That's why they're here. You're not allowed to come in. Hey, Dan. It's Officer She All right. Well, you have a warrant and you're you got to take care of it. So, as of right now, you're under arrest. Hey, guys. Okay. Well, come on out. He's not doing anything wrong right now either. He's doing really good. Yeah, that's why I'm here. I I understand his history and I just open the door. You in the house for no reason. You don't even know. Okay. Well, Dan, that you have a felony warrant. A felony warning for what? You didn't even have to answer the door. We didn't answer the door because you illegally entered my house. That's I didn't illegally enter your house. Stop screaming. He's just He has nothing. He Yes, he has nothing. Yep. 917. He's just pissed. Danny, we'll take 70 here. We got an uncooperative male refusing to add something. Let me go grab it. Sounds good. Okay, kids. What? Just be cooperative cuz they're inside. They're going to arrest you. You didn't have you. All right. Shut up. I understand that. But now they're in. I can't do anything about it. At the station, okay? And I knew nothing about it. So, let him take you. I told you I open the door, baby. You killed me. Dang it. I will bail you out. You killed me. You killed me. Then you have to open the door. Okay. What do you mean killed you? You killed me. What? Now, I gotta say, you know, my little midway pause now. They they didn't con but they was nonchalant about that thing. They said, "Man, we just want to talk to him about just for a sec. Leave." Yeah. Yeah. I ain't going to lie. That was That was some smooth. They ain't coming in aggressive or nothing. They They know to do, man. That's some psychology for your ass right there, man. Yeah. What are you in trouble for? I don't need to on this court. He's not even supposed to be in here as a bench. All right, fine. going now. I will pick you up tomorrow. No. Yeah, but they're going to take you. They're in house. I can't do anything about it. You shouldn't open the door. I told you not to open the door, Dad. Dann Danny, it's not mom's fault. Dad is You're not even supposed to be in here. You don't have an active warrant. Well, well, you do. I don't. You're correct. You're not supposed to be in the house with a bench warrant. Why are you at my house? In trouble like that. I I I don't know. There's a There's a warrant for him. He didn't add a failure to appear maybe. Yeah, he failure to appear. He didn't have to open the door. It's a bench war. It's not an active I understand that. But they came in by themselves. So, no, you did not have to answer the door. You could they have to leave. Danny, your mom didn't know anything that was going on. I just wanted to talk to you in the system. You knew she didn't know. She knew she would let you in. You're in my house illegally. Okay. I'm not in here illegally. Don't yell what I believe. Well, well, your mom answered the door and I was talking to her. So, bad luck now, is it? Well, I I don't want to turn this into something that doesn't need to be, Dan. You're not even supposed to be right here. You're not supposed to be in here right now. Well, I I am cuz I'm just here trying to talk to you and and try to work through this with you. No, no, no. You're trying to You're trying to put handcuffs on me. What? Where did that come from? Naked. That's why you I'm not here to try. You know that. Why would he say that? Did somebody like that before or something? Why would he say that? Now I'm worried. I don't know. You know you're not supposed to be in this house. If she didn't answer this door, you would have had to leave. It's a [ __ ] You are not active. You don't attack me personally. Negative. Negative. Does he have pepper? He doesn't have anything on him. He doesn't have anything on him. And he's not I don't I don't like that. He's yelling. That's what he That's all. Danny, come on. They're going to arrest you either way. They're not leaving. There's not one of them here. There's many. Come on. He came in here illegally. Fine, Danny, but why not just make it easy? Go down and I'll tomorrow. Whatever you need to do, work through it. You did all this illegally. Why did you guys come like that? If that's what's you guys, you know this. He's a vulnerable adult schizophrenic and you took advantage of the fact that you knew she let you know. I'm sorry. What was your question? Open the door and you could have done nothing. You would had to walk. By the way, guys, why would you guys come up here if it's a bench warrant? Well, because he has a warrant. Just let me know. I'm letting you go. Well, he has a warrant, so he has to go to jail to take care of it because it wasn't taken care of. It's a felony level warrant. It's a felony level warrant. I mean, he has to go to jail. It just is what it is. He has to take care of the truth. If she didn't open the door, you would have left, but it's not an active warrant. It is an active warrant. Well, it is active because it's current and it's live, man. You enter people's houses. You wouldn't have to kick down the door, right? That's correct. Yep. I've been enjoying my night and not even out of legally because you took advantage of my biological mother. Congratulations and thank you for admitting what I already said. Okay. Well, I'm not here illegally to be clear. Yeah, we have to let you in, right? But we're here and you're here so we can't just walk away. Hey, that's your problem. I understand. It's a good night. How about you? Well, I would like it to just continue to be a nice calm night on. Of course I do. I'm smiling. Let's get it. Okay. He said, "Let's get it." Why are you standing like this, Jamie? Yeah. Can we just like a child? I don't have nothing to say to you. I'm ready for war. Let's go. There's one more person with him here. I don't care. I'm ready for war. Come and get it. Stop acting like that. Stop. Hold this right here. It does. He gained access to the police. He wants He wants to kill. Let's go. It's not that big of a deal, Danny. Oh, hey. Hey, Dan. Hey, officer. Another child tonight. Hey. Hey, Dan. That's not even the same guy. Dan Dan, this isn't offic. This is officer Dylan. You're not an officer. You're a Nazi. Okay. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. She said that's not even the same guy. Is Is she Is one of the cops R and a child? No, she's just telling him that cuz he think that's the same dude he was talking to. Oh, I think the same he was talking to. I'm about to say, is it really true that he got a car? What kind of history do they have? Cuz he said we have a history. What? Yeah. Yeah. Is he tell Did you f the man? Yeah. Is is is I'm not I'm just saying. Is he telling the truth a little bit or he crazy as hell? What? Yeah. I think it's might be crazy as hell. Well, I'm sorry you feel that way, Dan. Yep. And I'm sorry you gained you gain access to me for my my my All right, Danny. Either way, they're inside. Take care of it. I'm not taking care of anything. They can leave. Well, they're not leaving. There's like seven of them. Well, we're going to have one tonight, aren't we? Why? Hey. Hey, Dan. We're going to have one tonight, aren't we, Danny? We don't want to do this here where I live. Officer, we don't want to do this where I live. Remember, we talked about this, me and you. It can't happen here. I can't have this kind of action. Okay, Danny, I know you love your mom. Listen, I don't love my mother. She's my biological mother. She's been a schizophrenic abuser since I was a boy. Yeah. My god. And when I and when I went to and when you came abducted me and brought me into a foster home, that was fun. Okay, Danny, come on. Let's go. I have police all over in the hall. You're going to give me a big deal if you don't call. All you had to do was tell them to leave injury. Well, it's too late now. Tell them to leave. All right. Well, it's too late now. So, what are we going to do? It is not too late. Tell them to leave the house. They leave. They leave the house immediately. Tell them to leave. They're not going to leave. Why aren't you going to leave? Sorry. Cuz you have an active felony warrant. We have to take care of it. No, you didn't have to do anything. You purposely took time out of your day to come here today. We do have to take care of it. No, you don't. Because like I said, you wouldn't have been able to get in if you didn't answer the door. It's not an active warrant. Are you staying in a radio battery? It isn't unfortunately an active warrant. It pops up. It's not the same. Stop lying. I just told you if you didn't answer the door, you leave tonight and I watching my movie. I was watching a minute. It was a good night. I'm drinking my Anybody can pop the door. Yeah, I popped it. I'm going to need you guys to let me know if something comes on the radio. My battery is dying. Open the door. Ask him. Open the door. You going to come by? Okay. He doesn't have a choice. He's an animal. He doesn't get to make decisions. Either way around, they're here. They're in. They're not going to leave. They don't leave. What are we going to do? Danny, open the door. I didn't hear anything. There's seven of them in here. Come on. Okay. All right. I don't want other Well, if they're going to bring a dog, they should probably bring another SEG handled it. Why? He He broke the law. He just told you. If you didn't answer the door, I would have been good. I Dan, if I would have forced my way in not knowing you were here, that would have been breaking the law. Yeah, but since he took advantage of my schizophrenic mother, now you're I did not take advantage of your mom, Danny. I never have. Stop screaming, Danny. Stop screaming. Wait a minute now. Get beside yourself. What are you doing here? By the way, you're on Facebook Live. We're going to have a good time tonight. Officer, who cares? We're still on Either way around. They're in the house. Yeah, you didn't have to open the door. He knew. He knew that you let him in and he broke the law. I had a conversation with your mom, Danny. Conversation. He you you gained access through my vulnerable schizophrenic mother. All right. Either way, I can't have this attention here. You already know it. Isn't it easier to go down there and bail out or get out and call me? Is that ready to go? Okay. All right. But we're past that now. They're already in here. So now what do you want to do? Well, I'm not going nowhere. Okay. Just so we're clear, Dan, you have a warrant and so you're under arrest. I'm not going anywhere and I'm prepared to die. Okay. Um, somebody want to We got four here. Somebody want to go grab a shield? I wish I would have known about this cuz he's doing much. Danny, stop it. As Daniel refuses to come out of the bedroom, Sergeant Eric Gados arrives with a pepper ball gun just as Sergeant Sandell steps out to grab the shield, preparing to step straight into the chaos. Is that ready to go? All right, but we're past that now. They're already in here. So now we're done. Out. You stay there. No, no, no, no, no. Mom, I don't want you. I'll bring my son out. No, no, no. They're smiling. He's ready. I'm ready. We're all ready. No more talk. Please don't use things on him. Like just we're not Danny. Come on, Vicki. Tell them to slow down. Tell them they want to. Come on. Let's go. Let them arrest you and I'll come out cuz there's not one here. There's seven. Why? Okay. I'm no longer asking you. No disrespect. I'm telling you, you have Come on, here. No, no, no. Now, now they're trying to boss you in your own home. Come on. No. That's me, you dummy. No, stay out of the door. I I want to talk. We're talking. I need We're having a good time. I take my pants off, guys. Please. How? Come on with your hands up. I know. This is his downfall. This is an apartment. Yeah. Where you head, Dan? [Music] Don't do this, man. It's not worth it. violated my voice, mate. Not worth it, man. You did it. You don't need to go to Come on, man. It's not worth it. Where? Come out with your hands up. He's still a threat. He says he's hit. He's still willing to fight us. He's not in custody. He still has a weapon. Officer Ryan Chic was hit multiple times. Gunshots tore through his upper left leg, abdomen, and pelvis. His partners dragged him out to a squad car and raced to meet the ambulance on the way to the hospital. Please hustle just relax. Okay, take a breath. Okay, we got it. Yes, sir. I don't know. Hold on. Is this medic? Nope. Nope. Nope. That's fire. Stop. Stop. Right here. Stop. Stop. Turn your lights on. Turn your lights. Let me out. Let us out. Let me out. He was rushed into surgery and survived. Back at the apartment, Daniel Homegrren stayed barricaded, shouting threats as SWAT teams surrounded the building. Eventually, officers deployed gas and chemical irritants. Homegrren crawled out of the bedroom unarmed and surrendered. Inside, officers recovered a Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun. Holgrren was booked into Ramsey County Jail. He was charged with first-degree attempted murder and four counts of first-degree use of deadly force against a peace officer. In August 2023, one count of first-degree assault along with the entire case file for the original domestic incident were dismissed as part of a plea deal. Homegrren was sentenced to 19 years in prison with credit for 213 days served. Due to Minnesota's twothirds sentencing guidelines, Homegrren could get out of prison in September 2035 and serve the rest of his term on supervised release. As for Officer Sheik, he recovered from his injuries and was welcomed back with open arms when he returned to active duty about 7 months after the shooting. For exclusive, um, I'm mad because they didn't show the rest. Man, let me tell you something, man. Look at that face. That's a drug induced person. Yeah, that's a person who who off and on drugs. If if his mom has schizophrenia, then he probably does, too. Sometime they pass down, man. It's just something that just just crazy, man. He he making random threats and calling saying the n-word and all kind of stuff and making you a pile and all kind of stuff. Just crazy. That was a crazy story, man. It was. It was. I I think we're starting to see stuff like this all the time because I say it over and over and over again. People cannot get help anymore because of I don't want to get political, but yeah, people passing laws to say who is mentally unstable and who's not, right? That's not up for politicians, right? If you're not a doctor to say what allows you to be in that category, it should not be up to the hands of a politician to say, "Oh, well, we don't consider you disabled because you know how to dress yourself." Look at all these people walking around functioning, but not able to make rational decisions. Yeah. I I want to kind of tell a story a little bit about what you just said, and it ain't got nothing really to do with it, but you know, when I was going through u my little health issues and I was trying to get disability and when I went to talk to uh I guess the psychiatrist they get they let they send you to a psychiatrist or somebody talk to and first question there she said oh you look nice you dress good you dress yourself and I said yeah I can still get up and dress I'm just having you know certain issues and that made me think when they see somebody normal they look normal they can get up they can talk oh there's nothing wrong with them They only have one form of disability is when you can't either talk, you can't stay coherent or you're just you're absolutely bonkers and you're throwing [ __ ] or something at somebody like that's the only time they would qualify somebody as disabled or mentally unstable is when you can't even function regularly. It's a lot of crazy ass functioning people out here. Go to work every day and end up flipping out or have situations like this, meltdowns. I really think it's just an overwhelming thing of having to deal with the world being unstable. It's all the uncertainty making people's brain just like flip or crash out as they say now. And drugs. Yeah, of course. Yeah, of course that. Yeah. On top of that. Don't Don't mix drugs in there or you you go crazy as hell. Yeah. This whole thing right here is crazy. I I I put myself, you know, in the officers uh shoes like they got to deal with it. They don't know if they coming home every day to deal with something like that, you know? I mean, it it could have been worse for the officer. Yes. And I'm glad he lived and everything played out, man. Just it's just crazy. I want to talk I want to make another video for other channel. Mhm. I'mma say this. I'mma say it quick. I know y'all love y'all y'all guns, y'all. I know y'all do, man. But we got to get a better hold to who gets these weapons. Yes. Because people like him, you know what I'm saying? Mhm. And then now they just they took away the stipulations that would keep at least the average nut. Yeah. From having a gun. Now there's no laws. There's no like you can have a gun. It doesn't really matter what age. Huh. Where we at? They got a law. They did. In most states they took they took the uh certain handgun. You don't got You don't got to have a um what do they call it? Register. Register. You don't have to have a permit or whatever. It's crazy, man. I just That's all I'm going to say about that, man. That's all I really got to say. This was a crazy good one right here, man. I just think he got some mental issues going on like his mom about to pass through. Yeah. And the mom, listen, sit down. When the cops say, "Move out the way. Move. Go sit." I mean, I I can understand being a mom. I can understand. I wouldn't I would have left the situation, but I would have not left the house because if something would have happened, I would have wanted to say what I saw versus what they said happened. I know. It's just me. Yeah, I get it. Yeah. But she know cuz she kept on saying he ain't got nothing. He got something. Yeah. And she knew that he had something. Yeah. That's why she wanted to come in and know. Yeah. That's why she tried to intervene. Yeah. She know she know he had something and know he was schizophrenic and crazy as hell like her. Mhm. So she that's why she just said that. And you know the situation. Okay. When they showed it, I thought he was in his bedroom. That wasn't the bathroom, right? He must have got a bathroom in the bedroom. Oh yeah, that did look like the bathroom. So I'm thinking maybe she had already told him, "Hey, it's police out there." And he went to go hide. Yeah. He knew what he want. Yeah. That that um paw pow looked like it was on the um on the bathroom. Yeah. That's crazy, man. No wonder he sounds so clear and and the room looks small. The door looks small. No wonder he sounds so clear. And man, when I heard him say he ready for war, I knew it was over then. Yeah, that's crazy, man. That's all we got to say about this. This right here was a crazy one. Y'all let us know what y'all think about in the comments. We love y'all comments. Thank y'all for being here. Almost at 5,000. We trying to get to 10K by the end of the year. We gonna do this. Yes. So, we gonna keep them coming cuz every We got work for life. We got so many views we could be doing right now.
