I know. >> I drank vodka and I smoked marijuana. >> Okay. >> Then the you police officers spoke to her for two more hours and got responsive and then left. Now we're not doing this anymore. There's throw up all over the place. We don't know the drugs. She has to get medical attention. And that is what the facility is telling me. So she is trying to kill herself with I don't know what drugs. >> Oh yeah. I'm trying to kill myself. At the time before that, her BAC was 0.445 and 0.5 something, which is dead coma. She says every single day, I'm going to kill myself. I want to kill myself. She says that almost every single day. If you guys were going to leave, I'm not going to come home from work with her dead. Right? If you guys were here last night, now to the hospital now. We don't know what the drugs We don't know what drugs. There's rumor. Uh please, >> EMS is coming. >> Okay. cuz this is not a joke now. We're not not going. We're going down to Jersey Shore. >> You're not going to get arrested for it. I want to make sure you're okay. That's >> No, I will shoot you in the head. >> Put her in cuffs. Put her in cuffs. We're done doing this. Put her in cuffs. On January 26th, 2024, at 10:16 a.m., 22-year-old Elizabeth Callahan, who had been heavily drinking and smoking marijuana the night before, became severely ill in the morning and started vomiting uncontrollably. Let me remind you, this was not Elizabeth Callahan's first arrest. She has been arrested multiple times before for domestic violence, incidents that were reported by her own parents. In fact, that case remains the most popular video on my channel. You'll find the playlist link in the description. This time, when her mother, Faith Oho, noticed her daughter's condition worsening, and heard her repeatedly talking about suicide, she immediately called EMS, emergency medical services. The EMS team arrived, checked Elizabeth, and advised that she be taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, the police were also alerted and officers Santa Fonte and Deluchia responded to the scene. How we doing? >> Controlman sent Police Department. Body cameras, audio and video recording. Where's the patient at? Go upstairs. You turn the top way down. Quiet. >> Hello. >> Hello. >> Hey. Transport, please. >> Okay. What's uh what's going on right now? So, there's th all over the place. >> Okay. >> She's been throwing up all over herself. It's all over there. It's all over here. I don't know what drug she's on, but now she just vomited. It's absolutely everything. >> All over the clothes. >> She's on st she got to the bathroom. Like, I need it now. You guys were here last night. Now to the hospital now. We don't know what the drugs We don't know what drugs. There's rumor. Uh, please. >> EMS is coming. >> Okay. Cuz this is not a joke now. We're not not going We're going down to Jersey Shore. >> That's They're going to They're going to ask you where you want to go. Yeah, I know. I'm just >> I don't control what they do. >> I I'm Right. But now, but there's a transport now. This is not We're not going to You're not allowed to be in the house and talk for 2 hours and whatever. Okay. >> Is she Is she able to talk? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> You look at the eyes. >> Would you take You're not going to get arrested for it. I want to make sure you're okay. That's my concern. >> No. >> Thank you. We don't want to have more charges. Thank you. I mean, we don't want We don't want any more. Watch out. There's tons of It's all over the bed. It's all over her hair. >> I got I got a spare I got a spare pair of pants. I got to get >> I need you to see it. >> I got to get close to her. >> I'm not not keeping I just >> But I wanted >> Sorry. I don't want to shine it in your eyes, but I got to look. >> We got to have >> Her pupils aren't pinpoint. >> They were This hours now. >> They were not. >> What pinpoint? No, they were. She had it was huge black. >> Okay. So that's not pinpoint >> any brown shows, right? >> Correct. >> So that's good that it's not those >> but I can't be too sure. I'm not a DR, >> right? See, that's the pro. We don't >> um >> it's I don't I mean we I've talked to the So we She's not telling the truth about the fact that last night it was she's saying that it was not alcohol and marijuana. Well, I don't know what kind of drugs, but um we know Yeah, we don't know anything. But the but the uh Other than she just wanted she >> but the treatment she stumbled down the hall afraid she was going to fall. She's throwing up everywhere >> but all over her. She can't get >> not very responsive. >> Okay. All right. >> Do you want the light on or off? >> You can you can leave it on unless you want it off. >> She doesn't like it on. >> Okay. Turn it off then. >> Oh, she nodded that it's okay to keep it on. >> Yeah. I'm going to keep my flashlight on. I'm going to keep it facing towards this way so it's not right in your eyes. Um I'm going to have a conversation with her. Oh, do you want me back here? >> Yeah, I'm 104. Thank you. >> Sorry. >> Um, she >> transport. >> Well, she's if the the VMS determines that she is conscious and alert. >> Well, see, here's the thing. It's like I told you guys when we called my husband and I. So, now the huge concern, right? So, she is trying to kill herself with I don't know what drugs. >> Oh, yeah. I'm trying to kill myself. Well, we don't understand what right with all the alcohol and all the drugs and you vomit all over yourself and you can't stop. >> Okay, let me just speak with her for a minute. All right, listen. I just need to know what you took or what you drank. I'm telling you right now, I'm here to make sure that you're okay. You're not getting arrested. I just need to know. >> I know. I drank vodka and I smoked marijuana. >> Okay, both of those are legal. So, even if you had them in your possession at this point, >> I know, but >> listen, >> just can't live in this [ __ ] house anymore. >> Okay. Well, I unfortunately I'm I can't do anything about that for you. And I know it's got to be tough for you, but >> if >> I don't take >> Turn that down cuz that's really loud. That hurt my ear. So imagine >> Are you like hung over or >> No, I don't take drugs. >> No, no, no. I'm not I'm not talking about from drugs. I'm asking if you >> No, I'm not hung over. >> What's What's your throw up? I'm only here to help you. I'm not I'm not here to give you a hard time about nothing. >> Good. >> You can just throw 512 on there for now. The lockown has not occurred, but I'm going to back up 73. >> So far, >> I'm here on a basic EMS call. I just want to make sure you're okay. That's my number one concern. >> I know. And just to confirm, I'm going to give in your previous statement, but I just got to double check. You haven't made any threats of suicide or anything like that, right? No thoughts. I got to ask. I got to ask. All right. But what do you not know what's causing you to throw up right now or is it just you don't want to tell me? Like I guess technically it could be a hangover, but cuz at the end of the day, I just want to make sure you're okay. >> I know. >> You know, whatever it is, personally, don't care. But I I need to know what's making you throw up because if we don't, I'm going to strongly recommend you go to the hospital. I know you don't. Nobody wants to go to the hospital. Anytime I had to go to the hospital, I don't want to go there. And my shoulder was not where it was supposed to be, but I didn't want to go to the hospital. But if you don't know what's going on, >> the only thing I like it could be a hangover. >> It could be. We don't we don't know. So, >> well, first time drinking in a couple of weeks. >> Okay. Again, like I said, we don't know. Um, but we have EMS and route. They're going to check you out. Um, I would prefer they check you out and I would prefer you just go somewhere to make sure that you are good. That's just me. >> I'm going somewhere. >> I'm just saying that's just me. Not saying that's what has to happen. >> Just been too many places. >> I get you. I get you. I'm just telling you what my course of action would be. Um and and you're being straight up with me. You haven't taken anything else. Just smoked a little >> literally drug scare the [ __ ] out of me. >> Just you just smoked a little pot and drank a little booze. Did you have anything to drink today? Okay. All right. So, EMS is here. They're going to come in here. They're going to check you out. Um, >> how are you? >> Okay. How are you? >> We only know drugs, so you don't know which one. We did call you guys last night. Jersey. >> No, she did not go. The cops would not take her against her will, but now she's been vomiting all over herself. I came home from work. She's got vomit all over herself. Then she did it again. Then she did it again. >> We don't know. Usually it's vodka, marijuana, but it must be according to the recovery place that I talked to and the therapist and the counselors that it's impossible to do this kind unless it's marijuana related stuff. We don't know. She's got to be transported. Could you Could you have gotten a bad bag? >> Any lights in here? >> Yep, the lights are on. I was just trying to keep her com. Yeah, she's conscious. She's breathing. Me and her have been having a conversation. >> How's everything? Feeling well, huh? >> You vomiting, sweetie? >> I mean, we've cleaned a lot up, but it's been all over all over the bed last night, the clothes, the floor. Less than 10 minutes ago, she vomited all over the place over there on the floor. >> You don't dehydrate. My goodness. >> She hasn't eaten. To the best of my knowledge, it was yesterday noon. >> Okay, you can leave. >> Actually, it's my house. So, >> actually, you can leave. >> You can see the eyes, right? So, we don't know. >> You want to get checked out? >> Jersey. So, >> like I said, there's no choice cuz we don't know what she's on. >> She needs to be. So, the life is So, no. I mean, if we >> She can go willingly or you're going to have to take her any >> know what she took or she's not telling us. >> I did. >> Well, I mean, we know marijuana and I think we know what But >> is it gummies or just regular? It's through a pen and through a vaping thing. Where's the >> Oh, well, they're asking what it is. >> Yeah, but we don't know what >> I don't remember. I don't have it on the top of my head. >> Her last name is Callah. Date of birth July 9. July. >> She's gone. >> Hopefully. >> Thank you. Let's let's take your vitals first and make sure you're okay. >> Okay. Are you through the front of the garage? >> No. >> I went through the front. 8473 County. First aid is 10 9. I'll 27 with you outside. All right, I'm going to run outside really quick and I'll be right back in >> I already know what you're going to say. But >> what she doesn't want to go make >> Yeah. Okay. >> There's nothing we can do though. Yeah, we can't we can't >> we can't force somebody to go. >> She's an adult. >> She's an adult. I talked to her. Um I was like, "You haven't said you wanted to kill yourself or anything like that." Now, is she going to lie to me about that? Probably. >> Her parents, I think, >> are saying that she's trying to kill herself. >> Why? Cuz you just took a lot of drugs and stuff. >> Well, I spoke to her with her. >> What did she take? Is she just drunk? >> I spoke to her with her parents out of the room and she said she drank vodka and smoked weed. And I'm like, "Listen, I'm not going to lock you up. I can't lock you up. Personally, I don't care. >> I just want to know what you took so we can make sure that you're okay. >> Yeah. >> And she's like, it could be a hangover. I don't know. But it doesn't explain why she's thrown up three times. I don't know. Next. >> If you're drunk, you throw up. >> Yeah. But she This was last night. >> Yeah. >> So, I don't know why she'd be yacking three times now. >> Yeah. Why doesn't she want to go to the hospital? What was her reason? >> She just doesn't want to go. But she never wants to go to the hospital. >> Yeah. What? Why do her parents think she wants to go? Did she say anything or just cuz she's throwing up a lot? >> Just 846. >> Just because she's taking drugs and stuff like that. >> People take drugs all the time. Yeah. Doesn't mean they're suicidal. >> Well, I wanted to have a conversation with her with her mother out of the room and then EMS showed up. So now they're up there with her. >> So we once we figure out what's going on with her, I want to talk to the parents and figure out what's going on. >> Yeah. Um, but having trying to have a conversation with either one of them with the other in the room is impossible. >> Yeah. >> So, >> you want to go there or you want you think it's going to make it worse or >> just just uh Yeah, hang on. If I need y'all actually, you know what? I'll talk to your parents out of the room. Can you just hang out in there? Maybe see if she'll have a different response to you. I mean, she's not grilling me like she was last time. >> Yeah, >> she's cool with me, but maybe you can. >> All right. Can I just get out of your way? >> No, I'm I'm going to speak with you. He's going to head up there. I'm just going to talk to you for a minute. >> Sorry. No, you're good. >> Clipped your heel. >> Well, it's fortunately I got nice big leather boots on, so you're not going to bother me. >> What? Has she made any suicidal statements since last night? I mean, she says every single day, I'm going to kill myself. I want to kill myself. She says that almost every single day. And she's even said it in the emergency room and the hospital. >> But the bottom line is, which is what we were saying last night, but now you've got 100. You had evidence last night, but again today. So, she is trying to kill herself by the amount of alcohol and the amount of drugs. And now we don't even know what drugs. She's telling me it was marijuana. I'm being told by the facility where she's gone for detox and for intensive outpatient and treatment, right, medication that it is impossible, impossible according to what there's and these are people that are on the other side from meth, fentanyl, alcohol, all kinds of stuff, right? Heroin, it is impossible to be vomiting this >> much >> from >> from just marijuana. Okay? >> So whether it's marijuana laced with stuff, the bottom line is we don't know. Her life was at risk last night. It is absolutely at risk now. She is still right. And she, by the way, she kicked my husband in the stomach more than once last night. >> Well, last night after you guys left, she just she put herself into >> That's right. >> Then she then she did even more >> drugs or drinking. I mean, we don't know. But if she doesn't get medication now from a hospital, if you guys are going to leave, >> I'm not going to come home from work with her dead, right? I mean, I couldn't. First, she was non-responsive for an hour and a half yesterday. >> Mhm. >> And then we talked with her for an hour. Then the you police officers spoke to her for two more hours and got responsive and then left. Now, we're not doing this anymore. There's throw up all over the place. We don't know the drugs. She has to get medical attention. And that is what the facility is telling me. I agree. She has to get >> Okay. And we're we're I'm trying to convince her to go willingly, >> right? And if not, then you're going to have to arrest her on kicking >> her dad in the stomach cuz she's trying the bottom line is she's trying to kill herself. >> Why? Why wasn't it? >> It was brought No, it was brought up. >> It was brought up. >> But you didn't want But you didn't want to do anything about it last night. >> It wasn't up to me. I did try. The attorney tried, her attorney, because there are charges already too against her. >> Mhm. >> Right. So, I think the issue was keeping her alive last night. Now, the issue is, thank God she's still alive, get her to the hospital because she has to have medication. We can't bring her to the treatment facility because she is so drunk, high combination. I don't know, sir. Maybe you guys do. >> What I got when I spoke to her is that she drank vodka and smoked marijuana. >> And just so you know, according to the facility, it is an insane amount for her to be vomiting this. uh breathalyzer. I think >> we do not have portable breathalyzers. >> You do know that the that two time not last night but the time before that her BAC was445 and.5 something which is dead coma. So I'm going to say this again sir. If you're not going to get her willingly you will have to take her unwillingly because that is >> because she's trying to kill herself. You hear me? >> We can call a screener but they can come out and talk with her. >> Okay then. But again, that's going to be at my OAC's discretion. >> I mean, she has to have a script. >> Let me go speak with him. >> You know how many times we've been to the I mean, you >> I've been here a few times. >> They know this, right? They know at the hospital how serious. Yeah. >> Let me let me see. Let me see if I can get a screener out here. >> But again, if the screener says >> she should go to Jersey I mean, she needs to go to Jersey Shore. Even the facility is saying if you want to talk to them like last night, she has to go because otherwise she's going to go into what do they call that? withdrawal. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Sorry, I have to remember that. >> So, they're saying that she's constantly saying that she's going to kill herself. I don't know if that's grounds >> to call a screen. >> Oh, yeah, it is. >> Okay. >> When was the last time she did it? >> They said she They said she says it all the time. >> Um Okay. When When was the last time she did it? Cuz they were here last night. Why don't they tell the hospital? >> I don't know. But also last night they're apparently she kicked the father in the stomach. >> Mhm. >> I don't know why anything wasn't done about that. They apparently they called an attorney blah blah blah blah blah that there's a bunch of charges already on her. >> Okay. Well, now they want to in order to get her to go to the hospital, they're saying, "Well, you're going to have to arrest her for last night." No, that's not what we do. So, >> ma'am, yes, by the way, she hasn't been here for almost 24 hours. >> Okay. When was the last time that she said that she was going to kill herself? >> I was at work. I don't know if it's happened. When I came home from work, she was already She was totally blacked out. She was laying in She was laying in her room. >> Last time that you know doesn't need to be today. >> Did she say it yesterday? I just don't remember. I'm sorry. It's almost a daily thing. It really just doesn't matter to me. I'm sorry. >> Okay. >> I just don't want to go through withdrawal and have her die. I've already already had the blood numbers. She's already punched out her top front tooth, which we've been repairing, which is now dead, which is thousands. She's already blacked out with a head concussion. She thought she break her nose. She got violent. I've had to have knee surgery now. You already saw all my hands, which I'm still scarred. My head, my husband. I mean, how much more? How much more? >> I hadn't come home from work. We're trying. We're trying to figure out We're trying. >> She also drowned in the tub and I saved her that day. >> We're trying to figure out when the last time was so we can call the screener and get them out here. That's That's the only reason I'm asking. >> I don't know. Pat, can you answer this question better? I'm getting frustrated. When's the last time she said, "I'm going to kill myself." >> I mean, usually, like I told you, it's practically every single day. >> Okay. So, it's daily, but you don't. You can't remember the last time. >> Almost daily. I've barely been home today. She was nonresponsive. I don't remember yesterday. >> Okay. I'm going to go meet up with my >> That's not to me. That's not >> She's refusing to go. >> Okay. Well, we we we got to we're going to try something else, but it's probably going to be involuntary. So, I don't know that we're going to transport with you. I don't know if you heard that, but they don't remember, but it's almost a daily thing. Hey 47 county outside deal with That whole process is >> what the crisis. >> Yeah, we've been through it before. I just want to take a shower while I go to sleep. 846. [Music] >> Okay. So, this is what's going to go on. >> There has to be medical attention. >> We are calling the screener. They're going to come out. They're going to talk to her if they deem that she needs to go given her previous history. I think the last time that I was here that we had crisis here, it was involuntary >> several time. Yeah. And you can't do that right now. >> We have we're having the screener come out right now. I'm not a I'm not a mental health expert and I'm not a doctor. >> So I and nor you or them can confirm or can give us that commitment. But when the medical uh not the medical screen, the screener for mom with med comes here and says, "Hey, >> is momm with medical gonna be able to see Jersey Shore?" Because we need them to see the Jersey Shore records of the fact that she was literally in a dead coma. >> We can request, but we can't. >> But you can at least tell them. He can tell them she was 445 and that was 12 hours later. >> She was waiting >> totally and she was out of it 45. We can request and usually they're pretty good. >> They sell one from Jersey Shore. Interesting. >> Well, Mammoth Met is the only one that dis dispatches screeners. So, we can request hospitals. Uh, and if that's what's on the sheet, we're good to go. >> And usually you're going to see enough >> where they're usually pretty good about requests. Um, usually I don't want to say guaranteed that. Oh, yeah. You asked. >> There hasn't been there hasn't been a screener. I pulled her out because she was flying that night internationally. >> Mhm. So, but right now we got a screener coming out. They're going to do whatever they got to do. >> She's not as high as I mean, at least now she's responding. >> Well, that's better. That's better that she's not as high because if she were to go there, >> if she if she were here drunken high, >> they might not send her because they can't get an accurate assessment because of the intoxicants. >> Better. Got it. Okay. >> Thank you. >> Thank you for walking with Thank you. I'm so glad it's you guys. So if we yeah if she's intoxicated I'm not saying that they won't send her they might send her detox and make sure everything's good to go >> but it's a lot harder for them >> this has nothing to do the good thing is mommouth medical heard her say over and over again I want to kill myself I'm going to kill myself >> they heard her over and over >> and they keep I mean they keep files on these kinds of things so if you have previous history I'm going to have them talk to you I'm going to have them talk to your husband and I'm going to have them talk to her they're probably going to go to her first >> fine good >> um but >> the bottom line is we need I mean she needs medical help. We can't have her go into a withdrawal. She's going to die. I mean this is >> again if >> Yeah, we know a lot of people >> if the if the screener >> and I I just I want to make this very clear. If the screener tells us >> no. >> No, I understand. >> If they if they say no, >> if they say that the past seven, if not >> I'm just I'm just laying I'm just laying it down on the table for you. >> I'm just laying it on the table for you. I can't I can't kidnap people. >> I can't do it. If they if she doesn't want to go, she's not going to willingly. If they do commit her, >> whether kicking and screaming, she's coming out of here and she's going in on one of our cars. We're not going to if she's going to be in >> at least take her to Jersey, which was >> whatever's on the sheet is what we have to abide by. If we disobey that, that's me done. >> What's the sheet? Well, I don't want to do that. >> The the And so when when a screener comes, they have a commitment. That's why I said make a request. I'm going to have them talk to you anyway. Okay. >> Um, so >> no, because Mammoth Medical took her souvenir cup from Copenhagen, Denmark. >> Anyway, stole a lot of personal pro. I mean, you know, I get it that stuff happens. People tend to just throw things out, not realizing really what it is. >> So, that's why I'm saying make a request with the screener. And that's why I said before, I can't make any guarantees. >> Is anybody Is Martha at least still upstairs with her? So, that >> Denise is with her. Denise is with Denise is with her. I'm not leaving her unattended. Okay. >> So, I went up there. Make sure she's with somebody. Mother's outside getting the screener to come here. They do come, I believe, from home or wherever their place of work is. Normally, I >> was going to ask how far away it is. >> We don't know. It depends on who they get and how far away they are. >> You want to call while you're waiting? >> No, I'm good. Thank you. Usually, they're pretty good during the day. Um, it's a little bit more difficult at night. Uh, but we're going to have them come out and do what we got to do. All right. Hello. >> Hello. Am I interrupting? >> No, we're just talking about the rehab, please. >> Okay, cool. you know, sponsors and stuff. >> Gotcha. about [Music] heat. Denise is talking in all conversations. She stopped when I walked in. So, I'm going to >> knows her. Her kids know her. Oh, and she was a cadet at one time on the squad. >> I have a call pending in zone 2. >> Is that your zone? >> No, there's another guy's own, but he's currently >> I'm coming back in 34 negative symptoms. >> So, I'm going to go talk with him. Denise is with her right now. >> Yeah. >> Um >> I'm not going to blow her up. >> Yeah. No, all the conversation stopped when I walked in. So, I'm going to let Denise talk to her, but now we got to wait for the for the screener. So, she does >> ask you a question. >> What's up? What you got? >> Okay. I haven't had a chance to be in her room, but it used to be, as you know, 1.5 L to 1.75 L of vodka a day. >> I've only seen her. >> I don't know how much she had last night. Like how worried are we? I mean, I'm worried cuz >> I don't I don't know how much. I asked her and she said, "I had vodka and I smoked weed." Um, >> that's okay. >> But again, well, I I want to give you a lay down what's going on right now. Denise is up there talking with her. I walked in, the conversation stopped, and she looked at me. I mean, she grilled me the second to last time I was here. And then she was very apologetic and cool the next time. She was pretty cool with me today. Even if she agrees to go right now with EMS, we got a screener coming now. So, she ain't leaving until >> the good thing is when >> when the screener comes, hopefully she'll go willingly. >> Hopefully. If not, we're doing a kicking and screaming. So, >> but she doesn't want to do that because she's got a court date coming up. As you know, she is being nice because if she's not nice, we're going to press charges. >> Okay. Well, I'm I'm just letting you know. I hope I'm hoping she goes home. >> I'm letting you know so that you know that if one thing goes bad, >> I'm pressing charges and it should have been pressed last night by my husband, but we were worried for my life. >> Okay. >> You don't understand how long she was not responsive. >> Okay, give me one second. I'm going to I got to meet up with my OIC real quick. What's up? Hold on. Where is this? Okay. Hey, please. Hi. Perfect. Okay. Oh. 45 minutes to an hour. Okay, no problem. I was just going to talk to the other officer real quick who I was at a different call. So, he was he was more dealing with uh her one-on-one. If you want to speak to him, just about her more demeanor. I haven't even spoken to her. I literally got here within the last 10 minutes after another call. Um if you want to do that or I could I can Mhm. >> Do you think she's drunk right now? >> I don't know. I think she's more hung over than she is drunk. From what I understand, what I gathered. >> I'll put it this way. When I've seen her intoxicated, it's normally absolutely blasted. She's don't like >> Okay. Okay. So, he's saying he's saying she thinks he thinks she's sober now. She's just hung over. Um, so he he doesn't think she's under the influence of anything else. her I mean her eyes are like like sauces, but she didn't say about taking anything, right? >> No, she didn't she didn't say she took anything. >> Okay. Um >> today. >> Yeah. So, she's not saying she took anything today. Um but uh yeah, that's where we are now. But yeah, I guess you guys know her her history. So, okay. Okay. Thank you, Elizabeth. See you soon. Bye. So, they said they're coming out because they know who she is. >> Mhm. >> And it's kind of like a gray area right now cuz we don't have any specific statements or time frame. >> No, we just have a laundry list of substance abuse. >> Yeah. So, she said um she would definitely be going to the hospital if she was actually under the influence of anything. But if you just hung over, like I checked the time last night. They're they're here at 6:20. >> Mhm. >> So it's been whatever 16 hours, whatever time it is 11. >> Mhm. >> Um 15 hours. So they said if she's actually under the influence of of anything that she was definitely going, but you're saying she's not. So I don't think she is. >> Yeah. So they're going to I mean I guess they can make that determination, too. But I mean I was listening to to Denise talk to her and she seems not intoxicated. >> Yeah, I know. Her conversation's fine. She's >> I don't know. The day we were out here, she was sitting by the tree. She's talking similarly. I mean, she's like >> I think she's groggy. >> Yeah. >> Probably cuz she is hung over. >> Yeah. >> Um but as far as >> she was black eye drunk like they were saying last night. >> Yeah. >> Then she's definitely hung over. >> But um yeah, that's where we are now. So I guess we'll be up up to Yeah. So, I crisis. >> I tried giving her the whole spiel. You know, listen, I'm here to make sure you're okay. >> Whatever you took, doesn't matter what it is. I'm not I'm not arresting you for it. >> She doesn't want to go. Denise was close to getting him to go, but she still didn't want to go. >> Yeah, >> cuz I was listening to that conversation. But >> Denise is talking to her upstairs right now. >> She can buy some more time for Crisis gets here, but >> that's not fair. >> That's where we are now. Um, >> and it's up to Crisis if they want to commit or not, I mean, >> and that's what I said. I like, listen, if Crisis says no, there's nothing I can do. >> Mhm. Yep. I agree. >> Sucks. We can't take her, but she's an adult. >> She's an adult and can make decisions for herself, and we don't kidnap people. And I mean, this is essentially what I said to him. I said, "We don't kidnap people. Can't Can't force somebody to go." >> Mhm. All right. All right. I got to go check a couple more things, but I'll be back in there. >> All right. [Music] >> When are you coming? >> Yeah, they're coming. It's just going to be a while. When you guys were up there, did she say she drank or took anything today? >> Oh, she said she didn't. She said last night to the last she took something. Okay. >> This crisis would take her guaranteed if she was intoxicated. >> I mean, she doesn't seem to be drunk at this point. >> Mhm. >> But she's been throwing up and she's her blood pressure's a little low. But a little bit. >> Yeah, >> probably dehydrated. >> I would absolutely throwing up and drinking the night before. >> That'll definitely do it to you. >> See, I wasn't sure if Crisis would take her if she was intoxicated because they can't get a good read. But doesn't matter because she's not currently >> in work done. Oh god. So, I don't want to walk in and on on them because they're having a good old conversation. >> Um, but like I said, even if she does agree to go, now we got to wait for crisis. >> Unless they'll respond out >> give you any kind of ETA, >> you're not going to be thrilled about it 45 >> to an hour. But unless unless they'll respond out to the hospital that she's going to, >> if she's going to go with you guys, well, at least this way she can be in a hospital, get medical care, and then they'll commit her wherever. >> Well, if you take her, where do you have to take her? >> Depends on where the uh >> screener says. >> Depends on where the screener says. >> Um, if they go voluntarily, I think we're supposed to take her. Yeah, we are supposed to take them to mom with med voluntarily. >> 512. Does that drill come from? Just close the card. >> Um, yeah, if they're voluntary, I think we take them to mom. But if they whatever this whatever goes on the screener sheet, that's where they go. Let me uh >> she seems pretty adamant she's not going to go. So, >> yeah, that's usually the case. But who knows? Maybe the screener comes out. >> You know, I forgot. >> I was just reminded of a key piece of information. >> Okay. >> Because there are two charges against her right now. The court was postponed, >> but now it's coming up in a month. >> Mhm. If she doesn't go willingly right now and there are more charges >> Mhm. >> there is going to be jail on the other end. She has been getting misinformation from some delinquents or whatever my h word my husband would use. But uh >> it's never guaranteed. >> Right. That's true. But I'm telling you that if there are charts, somebody should probably tell her. >> But we can't guarantee that. >> No, no, no. somebody should maybe remind her to go willingly is the best thing. >> We we don't we don't threaten people. That's not our job. We not we're not here to scare her into going to the hospital. We can't force anybody to go. >> Okay. Because >> that's that's in my line of work. In my line of work, that's >> going to be Oh my god, this >> But I I can't do that as a police officer. I can't force anybody to go. >> You can't even I don't mean coers. You can't say, you know, >> no, cuz this is on all the time. This is on all the time. That's considered coercion. I'm here to make sure she's okay and I'm going to do >> I allowed to remind her that she might want to reconsider. >> You can say whatever you want to her, >> but if she then asks me, one, I'm not going to give her legal advice, >> but two, I can't I can't back her. I can't say that she's going to go to jail. >> Do you want me to remind her that she might want to consider go going willingly because of the upcoming court? Well, I would say I would remind her. Yeah, why not? >> I would I wouldn't do that right now. >> Okay. >> I would I would wait till the screener comes out and does an assessment. They're coming out. They're on the way. >> They are on the way. That's >> Now, under normal circumstances, they wouldn't come out for this because we don't have an exact >> We don't have an exact statement. We We don't remember the last one is, but >> it's funny cuz I actually think it was yesterday. >> They're familiar with her. >> I know. So they're coming out. >> They're they're coming out because they're familiar with her. >> Can you when they come is it you or me who says also pull Jersey Shore? >> I I they they all of those I think believe I believe they share. That would be a question for them. Ask them. >> Um and but I can't I have nothing to do with metal medical records. I can't do that unless it's involved with a crime. No, >> no, no, no. It just meant it's important for them to have the whole as much of the piece as possible. >> Well, they're they're the only ones that come out for crisis. >> Okay. >> So, all the records are going through that. >> What I'm saying is the last time less than 2 weeks ago when she was transported and she was 5 something. >> Mhm. >> She went immediately into crisis. >> Okay. >> And then we were back the next day crisis. So, less than two weeks ago there were two crisis. That's how bad it is. I believe all that information is shared because they can gather >> has to understand that that was both of those were Jersey Shore. >> Okay. Um I'll I'll double check with them to see if they can see those see that report. I wasn't there, you know, but whatever it was. It sounds like it was a lot. I mean, you were throwing up, but >> it wasn't. I was here throwing up and um they called the cops on me and they were like, "You're coherent. You don't have to go anywhere. We can let you go." >> Okay. And who who who came beside besides EMS? >> Well, I call him Sergeant, so I'm not really sure. It >> was it was a officer. >> No, I just called him sergeant. >> Who's him? The policeman you're saying? >> Mhm. >> Oh, okay. Yeah. So, one of our officers was here, but he he had sergeant stripes on him. >> No, that's what I'm saying. He isn't a >> Oh, he isn't a sergeant, but you call him sergeant. Got it. All right. >> Respectfully. Is that what you're saying? >> Well, he wants to be a sergeant in the future. >> Oh, okay. >> Gotcha. I'll have to double check who uh who it was last year. >> Everybody. >> Yeah. Yeah, that's every officer. I'll go I'll regardless. He He said that you're good to go. Okay. Which if he says that and everything's fine, I I don't see with the that the screener is going to have an issue. But we with the recent history of substance abuse, we we got to cross all the boxes out. Make sure you're okay. All right. I think you're good to go. But >> I >> we want to cross this. We want to just hit this check box. I am >> perfect. So, when you talk to the screener, tell them everything you told me. Tell them answer all their questions that they asked truthfully. And if what you're saying is good, everything will be fine. And then once they're done, we're out of your hair. We can't make you go. And if you don't want to go, I don't want to take you cuz I don't want to drag you out of here. >> It's not fun. And honestly, we started off in a bad spot. You grilled me a [ __ ] ton the last time I was here. Then we got cool. >> Do you remember that? >> Oh, she was >> That was so mean. >> Yeah, she was very mean. >> You're so sweet. >> No, I really >> That was the only time she was mean, didn't I? >> Yeah, I can't see you doing that. >> Well, >> we'll invite you. >> No, thank you. No, we were not going to have another one of those. Um, no, but then the next time we met, we it was outside, right? >> Couldn't cuz they didn't want you to leave. I was like, we can't do anything. We can't make her not go. >> I mean, there were some convincing and everything like that, don't get me wrong, but at the end of the day, we can't make you go. I'm not going to sit here and make you go if I don't have to. Cuz I like my job. And if you don't want to go, there's nothing I can do about it. So, is what it is. Like I said, I just want to make sure all the boxes are checked off so you're good to go. And then when your parents say, "Well, she's got to go." Can't can't do it. There's nothing I can after this. There's nothing I can do to make you go. Can you go to one of those uh the place even though it's Friday? Can you go anyway? Even though you know not meet up with your friend and go today and you know you'll be there late but at least you spend a few hours there >> to IOP. >> Um no it's only in the morning for 5 hours. >> Okay. >> The place I go to. >> Can you go to an AA meeting? It's not your first. >> Yeah, I was actually thinking about that. >> I mean, >> I was actually thinking about going today. >> Why not? Today is a great day to do it. >> They maybe have >> I'm not too sure. >> I know St. Leo does, but I don't I would think that they should have. >> There's an app called Meeting Guide, but I don't have my phone, and it gives you every meeting in the area. >> Oh, wow. That's a good thing. >> Where's your phone? I don't know. I think my parents took it even though I paid them $700. >> It's like um I pay them the money and then they still take it. >> Yeah. Oh, is there even a 24-hour phone number you can call? >> Yeah, there are 24hour meetings. But otherwise, the point of meetings is like on the meeting guide, you should be able to find a meeting every hour. >> That's what I would have thought too. >> You can on those it's every hour. >> Man, I have no service and I can't just get this thing to click on. I don't want to call >> the wonderful world of cold snack. Walk 5t down the street, you'll have some full bars. >> They know, man. >> Yeah. Nothing's happening at all. >> Is your phone picking it up? Can you get it? Nothing's happening on my phone. >> No, I don't even No, it's just a X. >> You have no service in the house? No, I I do. I just >> Who's your Who's your service provider? >> The app Verizon. >> You me. >> Makes sense. I have I have T-Mobile. I never have service anywhere. >> A meeting plan. >> Except all the places I don't need service. >> You're the one who allow me to book. The the app I use is called Meeting Guide and it just uses your location and shows you like every single one in the area. All right, let me try meeting guide. >> It's actually a really good app. I think it's a smart thing to have because in order to combat this, you've got to when temptation is close, you've got to go, you know, to avoid the temptation. You, you know, the best thing to do is make a meeting until that temptation passes. Good. Here we go. This is not meant for people who aren't good with phones, >> unfortunately. >> Figure it out. >> I'm not I'm not good with phones either. Did you you didn't download it? >> I just hit me meeting guide and this came on. You can go backwards with the arrow if you want. Between Little Town and Freehold, this has to be places. >> Absolutely. >> Yeah. >> Even eating town's pretty big. >> Eaten Town, Freehold, Free Burrow. I mean, you got them all, >> right? >> Yeah. I'm open. I mean, Freel Burrow is just a town away. I mean, uh, Freel Township's just a town away. Yeah. >> I mean, even Homedale, Marro. >> Homedale. Yeah. Homedale's pretty big, actually. >> You got >> 35 over there. >> Yep. >> So, there's a bunch of towns that got to have something close enough by where it's not like a super big >> inconvenience. You know, you're not driving an hour for it. >> I ain't driving 15 minutes for anything. >> It's true. You should move here. Do you know that house on Conover they dropped the price to $5.99. >> I wish I could afford that. >> Maybe in a few years. >> Yeah, he will take less. He He was He did such a good job. There's stuff in my pockets. It's not funny. >> Does it have a garage? >> No. >> Not in the cards. >> No. Okay. What happened is um he put the septic he put a brand new septic system on the left. >> Mhm. >> And if I if I own that property, I would extend the driveway out. You can put a carport type of thing, but I don't think the town would allow you to put a full garage because it's just too much too much coverage for the property. I would think they'll say I could be wrong. >> Yeah, I've got too much expensive junk that'll rust. >> I know that won't work. >> I need first. need for a 504 entrance. >> You can you buy it? >> No. It's so hard. I don't know why yours is so difficult. >> I don't know either. It's like by state or something. >> You're in Idaho. >> Um a little bit on my phone. I need to go to the meeting by the Oh, it's just sitting on the kitchen table. >> The what? the meeting guide. >> I heard the meeting guide that, but I don't know what that means. >> It shows a list of >> audience. What are we doing? I guess you guys are good to go whenever we'll be here. My >> flashlight just realizes Denise, I'm sorry I called you whatever. I can't remember. Did I say Denise when you came in? >> No, but that's okay. I'm sorry. >> That's all right. 84694. >> You got a lot of things on your mind. That's fine. >> Yes. >> The next one is at 12:30. >> Is that here in clos? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. That's at the high school probably. >> Oh, the high school. >> No. What is that for? [Applause] >> I'm going to do an RMA now. >> Yeah, we >> then you can call us back. >> Well, I mean, if if it's involuntary, we're taking her. If it's voluntary, we're taking her. >> I know. I think she's fine, but we got her. She's You know, she's got a long list of I saw some CDs. >> I'm doing this. Check all the boxes. Make sure everything's good to go. >> Screener says she's good. We're out of here. >> 84. >> Yeah. And not hospital like right now. >> Besides the dehydration, I think she's fine. >> Um standing out there. >> Talk to people who are >> That's a building we see continuously. >> Yeah. Um, just give me two seconds. I'm gonna let >> I'm gonna let him know. Okay. >> Um, >> and then you guys can get out of here. Sorry for holding you up. So, she's up and about walking around. Uh, what time did the screener say? An hour. >> 35 minutes to an hour at 11:00. So, >> at 11:00. >> So, we got 15 more minutes. Okay. No, no. I I mean, I laid it all on the table. I was like, "Listen, we called a screener. I think you're fine right now, but we want to cross all our boxes, make sure everything's good to go, and then we'll be out of your hair if they say you're good to go. I don't think there's anything to throw. Tell them what tell them everything and be truthful and you know." >> Yeah. >> So, and this way there's nothing that >> Yeah. kind of got to call the mom says that, but yeah, >> the mom also wants her to go. Yeah. So this way if the mom's just saying stuff. Okay. Well, the screener doesn't think she should go. You're beat. Nothing we can do. >> She's fine right now. She's walking around. She made her bed. >> Is that where you want to come in? >> Denise, what >> are they? >> No, they're rolling. They're going to that I think they're going to that call there. So, I'll hang out inside. Like I said, she was just making her bed and now she's walking around downstairs looking for her phone so she can go make a make an AA meeting. >> What? >> I don't know. I haven't talked to him since. I've been hanging out with her >> trying to keep her calm because I figured she started getting pissed when I said I called the screener. So, I was like, "Listen, >> but I was trying to keep her calm and like just kind of [ __ ] with her a little bit so she doesn't get [ __ ] pissed off." >> Yeah. Yeah. Hopefully. >> Yeah, that'd be nice. Can you test this loading? >> No response yet. safe and discuss. That's great. There's no question that a therapist >> would be good. You know, the peer support, fear of whatever. >> I mean, she needs somebody who's gotten to the other side, >> right? >> And we've talked about that instead of communicating non-stop with >> people who are in >> a bad situation. Yeah, >> you know, I mean, you need to, right? So, >> yeah, go to the meetings and get >> the right help. You can also I'm not saying to not be in the group, but >> that you don't click with, you know, you find somebody that you get you can relate to and click because that's somebody you're going to be working with closely and you want to be able to rely on them. you feel uncomfortable, ask for someone younger, someone older, whatever it is that makes so you find the right person and then you work as a team and you got a goal ahead of you. >> Yeah, she's been given phone numbers. Her attorney knows uh a wonderful network. >> Um >> he does. >> Elizabeth, I've been telling you this for a several months now. He does. That's what he does. He founded a group because his son is dead >> from alcoholism. >> Yeah, it's a tough thing. >> That's right. And so, >> right, sweetie. >> Hey, thank you guys. Thank you so much. >> Thank you very nice to see you. >> Yeah, it is nice to see you. A473 K squads rolling from 28 to up heading to the high school. >> Wow. Out of all people on the first date squad, >> Denise. >> Yeah, >> she's great. >> Yeah. Why? I love Denise. I was on squad. >> How long ago? When I was in high school, so at least six years ago. No, >> it was long before I got here. I was writing parking tickets in free bro. >> You said you're off of the high school. >> Negative. The squad is leaving from 28 to heading to the high school. >> Okay. So, you're still seem You want any bacon? That's so you get some something in you. >> Yeah. Can I have some bacon? Also, I'm changing my undershirt. This thing goes up to here and it makes me feel like I'm wearing some things. But actually, can I have bacon, too? >> Yes. I did say yes. By the way, >> I think you're going to have this. I'm not I'm not coming in the room or anything like that. I just got to be near you. We have an EMS call. So, >> you have what? >> We have an EMS call, so I have to kind of >> keep an eye on you, you know, but I'm not I'm not going to seize and die. >> I'm not worried about that. You're walking around just fine, right? rehab. They were in rehab, they hold your razor and and your face soap and you have to go every day and ask for your face soap and razor cuz they think you're going to chug your face soap and kill yourself with your razor. And I'm like, I brought my own blanket and towel and I couldn't have that. And I'm like, if I kill myself, it would be easiest with my sweatshirt, you know, easier than my blanket. Anyway, I just >> some of Come on. If I wanted to kill myself and drink, I would >> not be in rehab. >> Mhm. >> So, whatever. Anyway, >> when you're done, I just want to talk to you up here away from them. Okay. >> Okay. I'll pretend to be really quiet. >> Is it okay if I shut the door? >> Just keep it. I don't have a door knob. >> Just keep it. Oh, you don't have a doorork knob? >> No. So, it just like stays open unless I like manually put something. >> Just put something small in front of it. You can shut it. >> You know, if I think something weird's going on, I'm going to come in. But, >> okay. I'm not going to lock it. But, >> I've been shutting it with the doororknob like this. >> Perfect. That's fine. >> Like, then I can actually shut it, but it doesn't like >> doesn't swing. And I just put a sock in so that I like pretend that I have privacy. >> Okay, good. That's perfect. >> All right. How you doing? >> All good. >> Filling out the paper in case. >> All good. >> How you doing? >> Good. Alex, thanks. Thanks for coming out. >> Hey, no problem. >> Um, so 22-year-old female, uh, the other we came out here last night for a EMS call. She was, um, blackout drunk. Um, she usually >> Yeah, she's she rated last night. Um, mom called again this morning around 11:00 saying that she's throwing up and her pupils are dilated. >> Okay. >> Um, the other I was on another call. The other officer has been here longer than me. >> He said that he talked to her. When he talked to her, she just seemed hung over like she's like groggy and stuff. >> Um, the mom wants to go to the hospital. She arrated again today. She doesn't want to go. So when we were there, >> did mom say she made like suicide? >> So yeah. So, the mom said that at least daily she says she wants to kill herself, but she doesn't have any exact exact uh date or time when it happened or any exact threat other than like a general statement. I won't kill myself. She says it it happens daily. Um, we've been here a bunch of times. In November, the officers on scene saw cuts on her wrists uh when they were out here, but that's about it. >> Yeah. I mean, it does seem like she needs some type of help. She's seen her a lot and she's been in and out of the hospital. >> Oh, really? >> Yeah. I don't think she's ever really gotten to as far as like having to stay. >> Yeah, I know. They took her to they tried taking her to detox center like a month ago or something, but obviously didn't work out. Yeah. >> The other officers inside and uh I've been kind of staying outside cuz sometimes she gets upset when there's a lot of people in there. So, I'll be outside in the meantime. 73. You can let the screener in. What's going on? [Music] Here we go. I was really hoping. >> Oh, okay. Okay. So, the screener is like probably 15 away. >> Oh, okay. >> I mean, you're up and walking around. You made your bed. >> Like I said, I think you're fine. I just want to really drive home the fact I'm not here to really jam you up. >> I just want to cross off all the boxes. and my kids can't sit here and say, "Oh, these guys are doing their job." Blah, blah, blah. She's trying to get us to force you to go. I told her a million times, "We can't." >> I know. >> You're good to go, right? >> Um, just changing. >> Came back. What? >> Um, I'm sorry. I just had to put my shirt on. No, I was just talking about >> Oh, no. >> Hey, no worries. >> The child. Look, it's your friendies. >> Guys, you guys are friends now cuz I call him. >> It's fine. >> Look, don't kill him. Kill him. Kill him. Kill him. Who is that? >> Yes. >> That's nice. Nice sentiment. >> Daisy, go kill him. Daisy, >> sure. You got more coffee? >> Yeah, I'm all right. Thank you. Appreciate it. I can't drink too much coffee. I already have one today. I'll be wired all night. And I still got to come back here tomorrow. >> When I was young, I was like that. Now it's >> Hey, did you say you still have to come back here tomorrow? >> Yeah. To work. >> Oh, >> not here. >> Thought you went here and I was like, Thank you. >> No, I got to come back to work tomorrow and uh >> I don't want to be up super late. >> I don't want to be up super late either. Like 9:30. I can't fall asleep till 11:00. >> Seriously? >> Yeah. I got to be up at 5:30 for you. So cookie. Okay, she's definitely burning this [ __ ] thing. How [Music] I know I'm going to put you out. Yes, I go. Oh, no. That's not for you. Would you like to go out and chase some squirrels? Daisy, do you like chasing squirrels? Thank you. I was trying to get it up. Daisy. [Music] Daisy. >> Daisy's just hanging out on the chair in her bed. >> I was going to say this one's special. She likes to just be on the chair. A little bit on the chubby side like me. It's okay. I know you didn't want to. Yeah, I know. You have to. But she going to watch for the D E R from here. >> Oh, yep. >> Yeah. Sorry, I might have said like >> Yeah, it's like the It's like the W word with dogs, too. >> Yes. Yes. Please don't say that. And the S w and sooner or later they're going to learn how to spell. They probably didn't want to do that, right? >> Is it too high a temperature? >> I just didn't want it to burn to be honest. Okay. You don't have any E tech, do you? >> Who >> do you have any ETH? Do you have any time? >> Oh, ETA. >> I mean like any Yeah, ETA. Sorry. >> Should be like a half. That's what I'm at. Like >> well when we called them it was about I mean what time was what time when we called the screener >> it was over an hour ago like 10:30 >> by when they sent them out was probably a little over 30 minutes ago. Probably about 40 minutes now. So anywhere between >> that old. Oh okay. I don't know. I'm just trying to touch what I have. I mean it's just uh >> they're probably five to 20 minutes out at this point. Unfortunately they can't give pinpoint ETA. >> Okay. Yeah. I'm just at least we're getting some food. That's That's very good. You didn't want those chips or the wings or ribs or whatever they're called, right? Yeah. >> Uh Daisy's over by the window and Becky's in the backyard. Oh, you turn around. I feel like Wow, you made it look really nice. I figured I should keep an eye cuz I think it's raining still. >> It in fact is. >> It Okay. Did you enjoy the burrow? It's a pretty town. Freehold. >> Loved it. >> Yeah, >> it's a great place. I couldn't stay there, though. >> Oh, >> it was a civil service town. So, you got to live in town to work in town. I live I live in Ocean County. I'm not even in the same county. No, I didn't know that at all. Oh my word. >> And then if they exhaust the town list, you they got to go to county. And like I said, I I was out of county, too. >> Yeah. So then Yeah. Way back. >> This is awesome. Closet. Come on. What better than the burrow? >> I love it here. >> Yeah, >> I can't complain. I worked at Seaside. I mean, every part every place I went to was great. >> Yeah, it's beautiful there, too. >> Um >> Seaside is south just south of Laval Elizabeth with the Morinos. That's where the um roller coasters are, etc. The board along the beach. >> Oh, that's seaside. That's seaside heights. I was >> You said seaside. I thought you meant No, no, no. That's not >> I was a little That was a little bit further south. I was >> Oh, seaside Heights is different than Seaside, >> correct? Yep. Yep. There's two different seasides. >> Most people don't realize that. Well, still I'm feeling a little silly for not going. >> I was I just worked in that town for eight years. So, >> well, there you go. >> Well, the even better part is is that when you get into this even more southern part of Seaside Park, it's not even Seaside anymore. It's Berkeley, but they call it South Seaside. >> Oh gosh. Oh, Berkeley. I know. We played soccer. Travel soccer. We went all the way there. >> Oh, I I was on a travel soccer team, too. >> Yeah, there you go. Just do that to the parents. >> Oh, they just stuck me in goal. I was little. >> I know. I kind of like Oo, you were a keeper. I did like when Elizabeth swam. I did like those swimming. It was hot in there and not smelling like chlorine, but >> what' you swim? >> Um, and JRC, but she did. >> No. What stroke? >> That's the club. Um, >> oh, >> I honestly did kind of all of them. I did like 100 free, 50, fly, do like 25 breast stroke. >> I was a flyer. >> I could do a lot of fly and free and breast. >> My main >> and back. I just I don't know. I did everything. Is that bad? I just I did a lot. I did a lot of them, but I I didn't do it past high school. So, that's the thing. >> Yeah, I didn't I didn't do it past high school either. I did my main events where uh the IM 200 IM. >> Yeah, the 200 IM. Yeah, there you go. >> Did you remember? You went to the She could have gone to the Junior Olympics for a couple events. >> I I >> From what I remember, I had pretty decent times in fly as well myself. >> See that? Um, >> I was a freer as well. I swam free a lot. >> I don't know why they kept sticking me in backstroke. I was terrible at it. >> I'd always Yeah, I always grind my ear off on the lane lines. >> Cuz I was going to say often put you in >> Bad Dog. >> No, good dog. Good dog is probably Let me guess, the neighbors getting UPS or FedEx or whatever. Amazon. >> Bad dog. >> No, it looks like some birds just flew by the window. >> Oh, birds. Well, we can't have that. That's crazy. Want me to bring you a sticker book? Oh, good. You got something to do. There you go. See that? Great minds. I was just thinking that you would want something to do. Bye doggy. Good Daisy. Go get Daisy. Go get Daisy. He's a girl. I will kill you. >> I think that's a screener. [Music] No, I will shoot you in the head. Bad dog. She's here, >> doggy. I will. >> Sorry, I thought I heard you. Good. >> Bad dog. Bad. Very bad. Terrible dog. >> Face down. Is that what that is? >> Oh, yeah. It's called diamond art. >> Diamond art. >> It is pretty, isn't it? >> Bad dog. Good dogs. The officer say now we got >> Oh, it's not a deal. Sorry. You want me to kick? Yeah, if you could just put the dogs away for sure. >> Come on, guys. You want me to Do you want me to take them upstairs again, please? >> Yes, good idea. >> I'll do it. Come on. Come on. >> Good. What's going on, man? >> Good. You >> I just gave you the >> She's upstairs. >> What's that? >> The family down here. >> Family is upstairs right now. I'm having to put the dogs away, but I want to I'm I'm going to separate them. You can't shut me out of the room. You can't lock me out right now. >> Well, the the screen is here and I want to >> fine, but she was going in the room to shut the door. >> Well, she doesn't have a she doesn't have a lock. There's no doorork knob. >> That's right. Now, why would that be? You can ask both of her parents. Now's not the time. >> But the bottom line is she was trying to do something. So, here you How do you do? >> Hello. >> I'm Faith. Here's Elizabeth. You guys do what you need hurt, right? You want to be I'm the mom. >> Mom. Hey. >> Can I say older sister? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> No. >> All right. Hi, Elizabeth. And um my name is Eson. I'm one of the screeners from mom at the medical center. >> How you doing? >> I'm okay. So >> where the right where would you guys Yeah. Let me talk to her. >> No, I know. I just All I was asking was if you were okay up here. >> Yeah, I'm okay. There he goes. days a week. 5 days a week. >> Yeah, I go four to five days a week. >> Okay. >> Fun stuff. Don't feel bad about that. It's fine. It's not a big deal. Uh it's water under the bridge for me. I don't care. Um but no, we're not meeting under the same circumstances. You you you fell off the wagon one night. It happens people. It happens to people all the time, but you're still >> I'm so sorry about that. >> Don't be sorry to me. Be be sorry to you. >> Oh, I am. Um, I'm sorry to both. It wasn't right either way. It's not even true to be honest. >> Why is it not true? >> That it's terrible. It's not terrible. >> What's What's not terrible? That you fell off the wagon? >> Your mustache. >> Oh, thank you. Um, but no, it happens. But you you know we're here right now and >> I know but it just feels like there's no improvement. >> I mean again I'd say there's improvement. You are definitely >> like I know there is but then >> you haven't >> like this is like the first time that it's gone backwards and it it just feels like it you know absorbed everything with it kind of deal. >> Mhm. I don't know if that's like a first time offense kind of feeling or like this is how it normally feels or >> Well, again, um I think again I'm just saying this from my point of view, not being an expert realistically, but um you know, you can use that this moment as a growing moment when you go to your groups. You know, it's you had an incident. Now, like Denise was saying, you find somebody that you get along with and that you can work together with and feel comfortable with. And the next time you get that feeling, hey, what do I do? Boom. Now you have someone to guide you through a solution who you can have a conversation with that really understands you. You know what I mean? Versus, you know, I can get a general idea of where you're coming from, but I'll never fully understand. I'm not in your shoes, you know, and as much as I try, I've never been there. And I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that you're okay, but somebody who, you know, has experienced it will be able to help you 10 times better than me. It's one of those easier said than done things. Somebody who's done it will be able to help you through it better than I can. As as much as I wishes I could do everything and make everything better for you, I can't. I'm not I'm not a miracle worker. I'm unfortunately just a police officer. So, I mean, like I said, I think you're fine. I want to make sure that everything's good to go cuz like I said, one, my most for first and foremost concern is you. I want to make sure you're okay. And two, I just want to make sure that this is this part is covered. I think you're fine. Um, but >> listen, we're alone, right? >> I mean, as far as I'm aware, >> that's why I'm talking out loud. >> I went to rehab for 19 days, right? >> Mhm. >> I hated it. I didn't want to be there for one minute of one day. >> Mhm. And all I can say is that every 10 years, every single person should be required to go to rehab. It had that much of a positive effect on you. >> It's not just addiction. It's about like how to deal with your [ __ ] life. >> I mean, that's a great outlook on it and that's a great mentality to have for it. Like I I know I didn't want to be there and I know I wanted to get out as soon as I could and I know I stayed for longer than I could have >> willingly and it was a great experience. >> Well, that's huge. I think that's huge and >> like I am genuinely a different thinking person because of it. >> Good. That's again that's huge in my opinion. >> I just just don't tell anyone that. But >> well, >> if you want my opinion, I think there's something worth looking to into a couple weeks off of life. >> Yeah, I hear you. That's again I think that's a great outlook on it. Um I don't know if you're right or wrong but I think >> well neither do I >> but again I mean if if that is I mean especially with your mentality going into it versus now that you're out of it and where we're at now you know. No, it was like solely a one thing like I'm going to do the 14 days for the court to get out of it. And then after those 14 days, it was like, >> oh, well, I want to stay and like share what I'm thinking and like talk to my friends and like talk about what's been going on and like talk about what could happen in the future rather than like I just need to get out of here. >> It's like what are all the things that I could do but in here in a controlled environment. >> Mhm. Um, did you make any new friends while you were there? >> Like a lot. >> Any of them nearby? >> Yeah, a couple do. One guy lives in um Red Bank, which is like 15 minutes away. >> Yeah, that's right around. >> One guy lives like less than an hour away. Two girls live like within 2 hours, but >> Yeah, but still not >> Yeah. I know we talked about it. So, >> it's not crazy out of the way, but you know, and you have contact with those people after the fact. >> Yes. >> Very nice. >> Those might be other people looking. >> Rehab is lowkey like >> like you kind of need to go there. I I genuinely think that everyone needs to go there. Like it doesn't have to be for addiction. And it just has to be >> it's just a learning experience. >> It's just helpful. Like >> Yeah. Okay. >> Just like need to go there. I don't like you're probably not going to go to rehab after this, but I'm telling you it it's really worth something. >> Okay. All right. Good. >> And I'm not saying you have to go to rehab, but >> I know I know. >> Yeah. You don't have to go to rehab, but genuinely there's a lot of things there that are really, really good. >> Mhm. Yeah, I get what you're saying. You It's not necessarily for the rehab portion of it. It's the learning in general that you do. Not necessarily just about yourself and addiction and everything like that, but as a whole, the experience. >> It's everything. >> Yeah. So, what you've learned about other people, what they've been through, what you've been through, how your how your substance affects you, how you affect other people while you're on it, you know, like coming off of it, recent stages, later stages, everything. It's like you don't even know what the hell you were going doing [ __ ] until you, you know, got out of it. No, he he was he was he was referred. >> That's pretty accurate. >> Oh, I'm I'm I'm very glad that you got that much out of it. I It's very difficult for me to admit it, but I got a lot of rehab. >> Mhm. >> And I genuinely do not think the same way as I think before. >> Good. Good. >> I never want to admit that. So, if you tell someone, I will kill you. That counts as a threat, doesn't it? >> I think I'm I'm almost positive you're joking. >> I'm positive you're joking. >> That counts as a threat. >> No. My parents told me I was going to kill me. They were going to kill me all my life cuz I'd knock something over. >> That's healthy. >> You're allowed to joke about something. >> If you think I'm joking about Root, I am dead [ __ ] serious. that [ __ ] It actually What I have to say is when you're in rehab, talk to people. Talk to people that don't work there. >> Mhm. That makes sense. Makes a lot of sense. >> I'm just saying if you think I'm lying, I >> I don't think you're lying. >> I honestly wish I could [ __ ] this well because >> I don't think you're lying to me. I think >> Well, I don't know what you think I'm lying about, but >> I don't think you're lying about anything. >> It didn't matter if you were >> good. Like I said, I asked you to tell me the truth when you here. You told me you drank and smoked some weed. Okay. I didn't like I shine my flashlight in your eyes. >> I literally don't do drugs. >> I know. I know. >> Look, I had a really bad acid trip. like six years ago. I never want to relive something close to that in my entire life ever again. Okay. >> I've only smoked weed and drank alcohol since then. >> Perfect. It's all legal. >> So, yes, I did acid 6 years ago. >> Oh, no. I wasn't a police officer 6 years ago, but not here. And probably not where you did acid. So, there's not much I can do about it. But >> there we go. >> The only re No, the only reason I was >> adamant about asking is one, I cannot arrest you if you took something. I'm here to be a caretaker. Two, I believe you. But >> really, I feel like you could arrest me if I took something. >> No. If you are under the influence of drugs and you are in an a medical emergency, I cannot arrest you. I am here to take care of you and make sure that you are okay. >> Okay. If I was [ __ ] dying, okay? I mean, no. Even if even if you're the under the influence of it, even if you're under the influence of it and somebody calls cuz you're not dying, I think you're I think you're fine. I don't think somebody who's having a very um very adverse effect to alcohol and drugs um would, you know, yeah, you might be a little hung over or something like that or just kind of feel a little groggy potentially and you just kind of want to lay in bed a little bit longer, but you know, more often than not, they don't get up and make their bed and then go downstairs and eat breakfast and then walk back upstairs. you know, fine. Normal. >> All right. You're right. >> So, I again, I just wanted you. I just wanted that assurance that I knew what I was dealing with so I could best help you. >> It's my concern. Is she talking to someone? >> She's talking to to the screener. >> So, the screener, they're going to come back up and talk to you. You know what I always noticed with my mom? Oh, >> she has zero experience with anyone drinking. >> Hey. Okay. Come in again. >> Yeah. >> All right. Uh, so I mean, look, like I said when I started in the beginning, I mean, there's there's a lot of concerns for some of the behavior you've been having. I mean, I I have enough just to send you if I want to. I mean, I would rather you say, "Okay, let's go and maybe start the whole process, you know, cuz seems like you've tried a few different things, but you haven't really tried to maybe possibly go, you know, inatient where you stay on a unit for a few days." >> I have. I did impatient for 19 days. >> No, that's different, though. That's That's a like a detox rehab. I'm talking about like a psychiatric facility where you >> I'm not doing a psychiatric one. I know, but it seems like I mean we have clearcut records. This has been months. You've been offered it before officer. Okay, cool. I guess they're calling you. >> Yeah, she said she'd rather do that. We're just fine. >> Yeah. Um if she >> been uncooperative with us or anything. >> Yeah. If she's voluntary, uh, one of us needs to ride with her in or you guys really I mean, >> I'm not sure how it works since you already signed off on the paper yet. >> Yeah, I did. I mean, she doesn't want to go, but yeah, I gave them the paper because she was like, I'm not going, but I mean, I told her she needs to go. I mean, I know some uh >> townships do ride along or just follow behind if you want and then just bring her into the emergency room. I've seen them done both. Um, >> yeah, I'll see how her demeanor is when when they get here, but I mean they I guess she used to be on the >> squad. Is comfortable, too. It's kind of >> Yeah, I guess she used to be on the squad back in the day, so she knows one of the women there. >> Okay. Yeah, that's what they were said. >> I know. I mean, it's just the parents were pushing and >> Yeah, I get what they're saying. >> I know. I don't know if she's going to meet admission criteria, but whatever. We'll see. The way she's been acting is just She just kind of nodded off when I was talking to her. >> Oh, really? No, I you know that could just be her being tired from being up all because obviously she had a long night. >> When I was when I was here uh a couple months ago, she was she would just like stare into space like randomly. >> Yeah. >> I mean, look, there's there's something underlying maybe going on. Unfortunately, with substance abuse and >> mental illness, sometimes they do go hand in hand together. >> For sure. All right, cool. >> I know. Just Yeah. Doctor probably would have forced her anyway because the doctor then they were pushing and mom's telling me she's saying she wants to kill herself. >> Yeah. So >> what am I supposed to do? >> Yeah, I got you. >> You guys want me to stay till the end? >> Um, no. I think we're good. You know, hopefully Denise can get her to go. If not, I mean, we'll have to ride. So, yeah. He told me I can go, but I guess she didn't really want to talk to him anymore. >> All right, sounds good. All right, man. See you. >> Thanks for coming out. Appreciate it. Yeah. Hopefully not. >> Yeah. Well, no. Hello again. >> No. So, um, the crisis screener is they're committing her. She doesn't want to go with us. We're the crisis screener. And I said, "Do you want Denise back out here to to drive me in the rig?" She said, "Yeah." >> Okay. >> So, >> uh, we'll go back up. I mean, she said she was going to go when I mentioned you, so hopefully she does. Uh, she wants to go to Met again. It's a nice place with her own idea. >> You're welcome. They're upstairs again. all the way down here. >> Okay. Hello. Hey. Hey. >> I have to go. Do whatever. Yeah. That one. Elizabeth, I got to go. Did she see me? >> Yes. >> Yeah. apparently for now. Well, this is different than sleep. There's a big difference between pass out. This is not sleep. She slept all night. I know what you guys are saying, but I She came up here before you came. Remember, I pulled it upstairs and she tried to shut the door on me. >> Yes, we had >> I know, but I'm just Yeah, no. No. I got it. I'm just Anyway, you guys do your thing. I have to go. >> Hey, Elizabeth. How's it going, honey? So they called me back and they said you want to go to the hospital. She's going to be sick. >> She saw the site. She's now going. >> What hospital are you going to? >> Well, we just called it at Mammoth Medical because they have >> She wants to go to Mammoth now. >> No, I changed it with Escobon. He called. >> It's fine. Mammoth bed's good. >> They all have They all have a crisis. >> Mammoth bed's fine. No, it's I mean I prefer Jersey Shore, but I was told that Mammoth Medical has the involuntary. So if anything happens, they would end up transporting her to Mammoth. >> Yeah. Estabon said Mammoth Med. He said he said he spoke to you. >> Yeah, that's what I just said. Yeah, you guys would know. >> Okay, >> cuz Mammoth Medical has a crisis. >> They all do. Behore has one. Center State has one. >> I don't. But I was told that the way that it goes is that they all end up at Mammoth Medical if that's how it goes. >> I don't know. You know what? Estabbon would know over everybody. So, so Mammoth Met is perfect. Elizabeth, >> Elizabeth, I got to go. Let's get your shoes. >> I got to go. I'm going to work. I have to go. Okay. She She reeks of B. There's no way that she hasn't drunk anything this morning. >> I've been talking to her the whole time. I'm not picking. >> Not I'm not saying since you've been here, sir. I said this morning somewhere between >> Okay. Well, 6 a.m. and >> she was responding to >> I know. I know. that she was vomiting and whatever. >> Denise, after you came when you left, she that cute even more over there. >> Yeah, I know it's not really relevant, but >> All right. So, Lyn, let's get you some shoes. Where are her shoes? >> It's a mystery. >> She's going to have We've never been able to find Well, we found some Try and find where she had you where you got to go. >> Yep. Just don't let me anymore. Okay. Yeah. Good luck with you can go to work too. I guess they said let me handle it. What? >> I'll skip my next meeting. Just >> see her out. >> Oh, now you Okay. >> Why? I haven't now. You're going to see her out. But we had all these other >> Oh my god. >> Unfortunately. >> Because you haven't been around for 10 months and now So, >> you ate the bagel, right? >> She ate part of the bagel. >> Part of the bagel. Okay, that's at least something. Did you throw up that bagel? >> I mean, I don't I didn't see her throw up >> in here. >> All right, honey. You ready to go? I know you don't want to though, >> but now it's been taken out of our hands because of that the screen. I decided you have to go. Okay. >> So, basically the choice came down to riding with me who I find absolutely delightful. >> We agree. >> Ask my husband certain days you might get a different answer. Or you can ride with these nice gentlemen. So, >> you know who would you like to ride with? Ride with me. I can tell you some stories. >> You ready? You ready? Come on. >> Come on. Ready, >> Elizabeth. >> Come on, honey. >> I know you don't want to talk to me right now, but >> we don't have any choice anymore. >> And I prefer not to pick you up and take you out of here. >> No, you don't. She doesn't want that. You don't want that, sweetheart. Right. Come on. Let's go. Do you want to put pants on or you want to stay in your PJs? Hey, >> Elizabeth, you said you wanted to go with Denise and Denise is here for you. >> I came all the way from Center State. Lights and sirens. Serious. Seriously. We had just dropped a a young girl off at the hospital and uh we got the call. So, I'm here for you. Lord knows my phone is blowing up. So, let's get going. >> You ready? Come on, sweetie. >> You ready, >> Elizabeth? >> There's no alternative. >> It's like It's like with a puppy. Come on. Come on. Come on. Let's go. Ready? Come on, love. Take my hand. >> Okay. >> Come on, honey. Take my hand. >> Why don't you go back to sleep? >> Let's walk together. You ready? Want to hold my hand? >> Do you Do you have a pair of shoes that we can slides? >> She said there were slides. She said there was slides by the front door. >> By the front door. >> Well, you want to hear this story? So, I'll tell you this real quick story. So, every morning I would try to get my son up for bed to go to school for high school. He wouldn't get up. He would give me a hard time. So, one day I said, "If you don't get up, I'm throwing water on you." So, he didn't believe me. So, I went in the bathroom, filled up a cup, threw it on him. From that day on, I he wouldn't get up. I turned the water on, jumped out of bed. >> Did it work? It worked every time. You thought I was a maniac, but it did work. You ready? I don't do that. Come on. Let's go. Give me your hand. >> Elizabeth, we can only wait so long, unfortunately. >> Be respectful of other people's time. There's no doubt. >> Come on. >> You ready? Ready. Get out. Get out. >> If it helps facilitate the uh Okay. >> [ __ ] faker. >> Oh, here's your shoes. >> Only shows up when it's time to [ __ ] do something. >> You want me to bring a jacket? >> No. Want him to be kept on my [ __ ] face? >> Okay. >> Okay. Well, I will go and the one downstairs. Okay. >> You want me to bring him? >> I guess he was downstairs. Okay. >> What are you What are you doing? >> I need >> Okay. Okay. used to have people. [Music] You think they come with this set? Was that you? >> That was me. >> Oh, >> seems like there's some sort of crisis going on. Real estate. Yeah, >> everything's a princess. >> Very true. Okay. >> Yeah, I know. My socks are >> You want your socks and shoes? Okay. Why are there so many people? 8478 count issues that they were tired. Can I please get some of my own stuff? >> Yeah. Where where is it? >> In my room. >> Yeah, you can grab grab your stuff. >> Okay. Can you wait out here? >> Yeah. All right. She's pretty busy right now. >> Why? Because I was never gave her guaranteed crisis. >> Yeah. >> You know, but I was like, "Hey, go. Come check you out. Can I just get changed and then come out? >> Yeah. >> What's that? >> She's changing her feminine pad. >> Okay. >> She doesn't have a lock on her door, so it's okay. Do you do you want someone to ride with you or do you want Yeah. >> them to follow you? >> That's okay. >> Okay. All right. Mom's go to the hospital. >> Yeah, he he called mom med. >> Yeah, they got to stop doing that. >> Mhm. >> What? We got to stop doing what? >> Call mom because then we just put them in the waiting room. >> Oh, >> yeah. Right by the exit. Hi. Uh oh, she's sleeping again. Did she take more vodka? >> No, we've been in here the whole time. >> No more. Okay. Can I hug her goodbye? I have to leave for work. >> Well, we're about to have first aid come in here, so you can say goodbye. saying that and I can't I mean do you need me here? I I have to leave. >> We don't need you here. >> Okay. I mean I don't believe that she didn't drink vodka. Can you not smell it in here? >> I mean there's you said there's throw up all over the floor. >> There is th Right. But you can smell the vodka, right? I mean she usually hides it and that one I think is water. But I thought you were been here talking. I had no idea that she was out of it again. Hey, Elizabeth. Elizabeth, you know this isn't normal, right? To be nonrespon, right? >> She's she's sleeping. She went to lay down >> when you're that drunk and that high. >> Well, she wasn't she was she hasn't been intoxicated since last night. And she hasn't drunk anything while we were here. She's been monitoring. >> You mean this morning? She was that she said that she had drunk and done. We know how much marijuana she did this morning because there's vomit. All this is all new from this morning. You saw it, right? I mean, it covered the bed. Any Hey, Elizabeth. Elizabeth. >> Hey. Hey. >> How's it going? >> I have to go back to work. You guys are take Yeah, do whatever. Hey. Yeah, that one top. Elizabeth, I got to go. Is she sleeping? >> Yes. >> Yeah, apparently for now. Well, this is different than sleep. There's a big difference between pass out. This is not sleep. She slept all night. I know what you guys are saying, but I She came up here before you came. Remember I bolted upstairs and followed. She tried to shut the door on me. >> Yes, we've had we've had her monitored the whole time. >> I know. I'm just Yeah, no. No. I got it. I'm just Anyway, you guys do your thing. I have to go. >> So, she hasn't taken anything. >> No. >> Okay. >> Hey, Elizabeth. How's it going, honey? >> Hey, Denise. So, they called me back. So he said you want to go to the hospital. >> Okay. >> Think she's been to this. >> She saw the site. She's now going. >> And when we go to church, >> well, we just called it at Mammoth Medical because they have the crisis unit. >> Well, >> no, I changed it with Estabbon. He called. >> It's fine. Mammoth. >> They all have They all have a crisis center. >> Mammoth is fine. >> Okay. No, it's I mean I prefer Jersey Shore, but I was told that Mammoth Medical has the involuntary, so if anything happens, they would end up transporting her to Monmouth. >> Yeah. Estabon said Mammoth Med. He said he said he spoke to you. >> Yeah, that's what I just said. Yeah, you guys would know >> because Mammoth Medical has the crisis. >> They all do. Be sure has one. Center State has one. >> I don't. But I was told that the way that it goes is that they all end up at Mammoth Medical if that's how it goes. >> I don't know. You know what? Estabon would know over everybody. So, >> okay. Yeah, this is way past me. Elizabeth, >> Elizabeth, >> I got to go. >> Let's get your shoes. >> I got to go. I'm going to work. I have to go. So, one day I said, "You don't get up. I'm throwing water on you." So, he didn't believe me. I went to the bathroom, filled up a cup, threw it on him. From that day on, you wouldn't get up. I turned the water on, jumped out of bed. >> It worked. >> It worked every time. You thought I was a maniac, but it didn't work. You ready? >> I don't do that. Come on, let's go. She said she doesn't want to see you right now. Sorry, but whatever makes it the most pleasant and easy for her to facilitate. Why are there so many people? 847 counting. in Florida. They say they got a notice from the alarm company here. Can I please get some stuff? >> Yeah. Where is it? >> In my room. >> Yeah, you can grab grab your stuff. >> Okay. Can you wait out here? >> Yeah. I think she's pretty pissed at me right now because I was never gave her a guarantee that the crisis would, >> you know, but I was like, "Hey, like if everything goes well, you go come check you out, then we'll be out of your hair." >> Um, can I just get changed and then come out? >> Yeah, sure. She doesn't have a walk on her. >> Yeah. >> What's that? >> She's changing her feminine bed. >> Okay. >> She doesn't have a lock on her door, so it's okay. Do you also provide a favorite? >> Yeah. >> My mom is of course in the hospital. >> Yeah. He he called mom. Yeah, I think I stopped doing that. >> Mhm. >> What? They got to stop doing what? >> Call them not because then we just put them in the waiting room. >> Oh. >> Oh, >> yeah. Great idea. >> Right by the exit. >> And they don't even they make us wait online >> to register behind everybody else. It won't any priority or anything like that. >> Yeah, that's crazy. >> This is so good. >> Much better, right? [Music] Guess the shoes are over by the garage. And why do I have to go? >> The screener said that that you must go. I wasn't here for that. So, I can't tell you what was done. I wasn't here, but >> All right. Well, I can't leave without my phone. >> I I suppose your mom can bring it later. I don't know where your phone is. M she won't. So I have to know. >> You have no idea where it is. >> It's with my mom. >> She just went to work. >> Let me ask your dad. >> Okay. [Music] Oh, okay. gave it to her. Mom gave it to you. >> Okay. So, where is it? >> I don't know. You're the last one to hold it. >> I think I might know where it is. any >> No, she was using it. I don't want to touch anything. It's been cleansing. Oh god. >> Is that your phone ringing? That's mine. >> Okay, >> that's not a bad idea. Let me call her. See if it rings. Come on. Call Elizabeth Mobile. >> Calling Elizabeth color and mobile. I check the bathroom. Do you hear anything? >> No. It's raining. Elizabeth, do you have your phone on quiet? [Music] Does she have shoes? >> What's that? >> Does she have shoes? She doesn't. I think she's wearing something right now. Not too I'm not too sure. She's not thrilled with me right now. So, I'm trying to stay out of All right, those are together. Did she say where it was? >> She doesn't know. >> Yeah, she should really have a phone while she's there. >> Yeah, they take it from her. Isn't this a phone? >> There's a watch. >> It's a watch. >> Yeah, but >> Oh, she might be able to use it to find them. >> Isn't it also a phone? >> No, it's not. It connects to the phone. >> She >> I know my son can get messages on his >> No, no, you can get messages, but it connects to the phone. >> I think it's too far away from the phone. Unless you pay for individual service for it, it doesn't work. Can >> you keep calling it? forever. >> No, the parents are part of the freaking problem. >> Yes, >> I watched her go to sleep and she's like she's not like this isn't normal. It's normal for people to go to sleep. >> Yeah, I don't think it's I checked underneath this side. Give me a minute. I'll check underneath the other side. I don't know if the mom freaking took it. Yeah. >> And where in there? Uh, I don't think she had her hands on it to be honest with you. No, I'm not feeling anything square and rigid in there that's big enough to be a phone, I think. Nope. Is he even calling it or >> I have no clue. >> Neither one of them have helped this situation one bit. >> All right. >> All right. We're just >> I think we're just Yeah, we're going to go. >> No, I don't think it's in here. >> All right, Elizabeth, it's time to go. We don't have an option anymore and we've waited too long. There's a piece of paper saying you got to go. So, we can either go pleasantly, which everybody would prefer. I know you don't want to go at all, but we don't have an option at this point. >> So, how long do I have to stay? >> I don't know. I am not the doctor there. the doctors are going to evaluate you and you might leave in a couple hours or they might keep you there. >> But that's up up for them to decide, not us. >> It's out of our hands by now, unfortunately. >> But delaying the situation is not going to make it any better. And it's not going to go away. We cannot leave until you are on your way there. >> Hello, Elizabeth. Hello, everybody. Hi. How are you? >> How are you? >> How are you? >> Okay, thank you. >> Are you the artist? >> Is she the artist? Are you the artist of yours? I'm >> your grandma. >> Do you have really great talent? >> Pardon me. Love your paintings upstairs. They're beautiful. Oh, >> thank you. Yeah. Well, I decorated their house for over the years. Don't mind the ear muffs. They were given to me for Christmas and they're so comfortable. I keep them on sometime. Keeps my hair out of my face. So, um, we're going to the hospital now. >> The They aren't Take these off so I can't hear you. >> Okay. >> Passing me like So, what's happening was we're going to the hospital now. >> They aren't giving them paperwork to >> That That's great. That'll be very helpful. >> Yeah. >> Yes. trying to get this homework done. >> So, Elizabeth, are you ready to go? >> Well, they don't really give me paper to We're doing >> I got to get the command upstairs. >> You going to let them out? I got to run upstairs and grab a piece of paper. That's not it. That's it. This is the paperwork right here that says you have to go. So, and like I said, we're not going anywhere until you go. >> Please don't waste your time >> cuz you know how it ends. I never made any promises today. >> If you unlock your watch, I will give it one last chance of keeping I find your hard. Ready? You got to go. Okay. Stand up. Stand up. >> All right. All right. So, >> Elizabeth, enough. >> Can you say what? >> Say what? >> I don't know what you were going to say. >> I never made any promises today that you weren't going to go. >> I know. >> Okay. And it turned out you did. Now, I'm not the medical health professional, but he said you have to go. So, at this point, you have to go. I don't want to pick you up and take you out of here. You you've you like we were talking about, you've made a lot of progress. All right? You fell off the wagon like you said, but this is your steps to get back on. I know this isn't the steps you want. But unfortunately, none of us here being medical health mental health professionals can make that determination besides the crisis screener. And that's what he has deemed so. So that's what we have to do. As much as I don't want to take you, I can't make that determination. But I would prefer you go with somebody you're comfortable with. Denise, you asked for her earlier. Got her here for you. And I'd prefer not to have to take you out of here in cuffs. I don't want to do that to you either. >> Yeah, I know. But we can't wait any longer. As much as I I wish I had, you know, all day to wait here with you until you're comfortable to go, we we don't have that option. Something else happens. We still have to respond to that. And we can't respond unless until we're finished up here. It's not that we want to be done here because of that, but we do have other duties that we need to handle throughout the day. And that is what causes us to be on such a time constraint. And we've been here for quite some time already. We're over 2 hours >> and yesterday everybody was here. >> I'm I'm not too worried about yesterday. I'm worried about right now. I don't want to I don't want to drag you out of here. I don't want to do that. So, >> you going to take a jacket with you? >> No. >> Shoes and sliders. >> Well, whatever she feels comfortable going in is what she's going to feel most comfortable going in. So, but we can't, you know, go back and forth and go. >> Give me my phone. >> I don't have your phone. I don't know. Is there a way you can >> Your mom gave you the phone when you >> Is there a way you can turn the volume up on your phone with that? >> Okay. So, where is she? >> No, it's not your mom. Your mom does not have the phone. She gave it to you. We already discussed this. We've been discussing this. I asked you to unlock your iPhone so I could use Find My Phone to try and find your phone. But you didn't do that. So now we don't have your phone. We can't keep going in circles, Elizabeth. You just need to go and take care of what you need to take care of. If we find your phone, we will bring it to you. >> But you need to go to the hospital and you need to be respectful of other people's time. >> Okay. Okay. Got slides right there. >> Where's my mom? >> She's went to work. >> Well, we're waiting for her. >> We can't wait for her. We don't have that option. We don't have any time to wait. >> She's not going to be back till 400 p.m. She's running. She's doing her job. >> The clock ran out. It's basically at this point them or us. >> How fast can I get discharged out of there? >> I don't I don't I can't make that determination. You have to talk to them. You You're going to have to go and talk to the doctors there. Like I said, I can't tell you you're going to get out in 10 minutes. It's probably going to be a few hours. But like I said, if they determine that everything's good to go, they have no reason to keep you. They will discharge you. >> Hey, fine. Oh [ __ ] shoes. It's raining out. >> Yeah, let's go. Don't get your clothes out your bags. You all right? >> Yeah. I'm going to I'm going to be tailing behind you in my uh patrol car. Yeah. >> What's that? >> Do we need the >> I mean that one's really short. You going to mama now? >> Well, yeah. >> Do you want Do you want to hand this off? Thought mom wanted mama like this. No, not my car. >> Do we need a copy of this Deludio or is this for them? [Music] >> Where we going? I'm going to get my license and driving stuff real quick. >> Where is my mom? >> She's went to work. >> Well, we're waiting for her. >> We can't wait for her. We don't have that option. We don't have any time to wait. She's not going to be back till 400 p.m. She's running. She's doing her job. >> The clock ran out. It's basically at this point. >> How fast can I get discharged out of there? >> I don't I don't I can't make that determination. You have to talk to them. You You're going to have to go and talk to the doctors there. Like I said, I can't tell you you're going to get out in 10 minutes. It's probably going to be a few hours, but Uh, like I said, if they determine that everything's good to go, they have no reason to keep you. They will discharge you. >> Hey, fine, >> it's raining out. >> Yeah, let's go. Right, I'll grab your bags. No, >> thank you. >> Thank you. >> No problem. I don't know why you sent your name. [Music] Nile just follow them. Okay. All right, mammoth med where they want to go. >> Yeah. Well, there was a big hoopla on there about uh what was that? >> Wait, what happened? >> There was a big hoopla over there with the mom about what hospital they're going to. So, I just said You said mommouth meds, so it's mom. I don't know. I don't know if >> I didn't really care either one. commitment. >> I mean, that one. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Do you want me to mom wanted mom? >> Yeah, it's mommouth med now. Just It's too late. The mom's at mommouth med. That's where we're going. >> He's going to follow them. >> I don't care which one. >> Yeah, I know. >> At this point, it doesn't really reference. >> No, it does doesn't matter. >> Especially going to mom's, right? >> Yeah. >> I'll call them. >> Yeah, I didn't know. That's why I was waiting, you know, like I know exactly >> and I'm It was whatever >> that's what it was. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> All right. Thanks again. See you later. >> Kyle, what are you doing? >> Put her in cuffs. Put her in cuffs. We're done doing this. Put her in cuffs. >> All right, I'm going to ride in it. What's that? I got a ride in it. Yep. I only wanted to come back for one day. >> You can't just walk out on the ambulance. >> I wasn't walking out on it. I was coming right back. >> Okay. Well, that's not according to what they said. They said you just walked out of the ambulance. Didn't tell them where you were going. So now you don't have an option. You have to go. >> Oh, I told them I was going to walk out. Hey, can you get my stuff please? anything she has Heat. Heat. 8470 clear 847. We'll get it. What was that? Yeah.
