This this this woman said she didn't have didn't get fellows was going to come and uh you said you And then move your neck up and then >> right side of her door. Okay. Um, this one's already running in the car now. Yeah. If you need me to swap, you go ahead and just call me on the radio. Whatever you need. >> Um >> or do you want me to go up there? >> Yeah. Why don't you go up here? >> Are you a Patriots fan? >> I am. >> I apologize for the way that game ended. We are our lieutenant is from that area. Um and we were joking that we would go have to check on his well-being after the game ended. >> How long you down for? >> Uh this coming Wednesday. Were your shoes on the ground under the mirror there the whole time? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Are those the shoes you were out or wore out tonight? >> Uh for part of the night. Yeah. >> So then you got here and they just kicked them off under the mirror and then Okay. Let's check. How did you guys get separated? Like I know she went to the lobby, right? So you told me she lunged at you, you had a little whatever. >> Oh, >> did she get up? >> She kind She noticed that her I mean the ear. >> Mhm. And she was doing this and she obviously she thought I did it on purpose. Like I would ever [ __ ] do that to her. >> Was she in the bed when she realized she was bleeding or she she had already gotten up? We were both standing. >> Okay. And then I'm assuming based on the blood that's on the mirror that she walked over to the mirror and like looked maybe. >> Um >> I I >> don't know. >> I don't know. >> That's why I asked you about your shoe cuz you have blood on your shoelaces and if >> Oh, >> she was Oh my god. >> If the shoes were under the mirror when she you know if she if she like went to check or you know whatever happened that would explain that but that's why I asked her that. So then when she got up and realized that she was bleeding, do you remember what happened after that? >> Uh, she just Well, she called me a [ __ ] and I said, "Look what you did." And walked out the door. Um, I was going to go after her, but there was a time that I was just I was in the bathroom and she just I I don't know came over and she she's not like this. She's not a violent person. Did she just I mean I was in the bathroom for like 5 minutes. And >> she was still in in the room when you went to the bathroom. >> What's that? >> She was still in the room when you went to the bathroom. >> I I purposefully >> like to separate yourself. >> I locked myself in the bathroom. >> Hi. >> Hi. >> What was your name? Sorry. Amy, Amy, um I know you already spoke to them about what happened, but um would you mind repeat that for me? >> Uh so we were we had a night out, got home, we're going to bed, and it seemed like we were so we were sleeping in different beds and it I don't know like it just it kind of upset her and almost like asleep and she kind of was just like, you know, I want to explain a little bit about this and it just spiraled from there and it's okay. Um, I'm I'm going to more than inspired, you know. I got to I got to understand how the whole thing got physical between you guys cuz obviously you're married, you love each other, I would assume. So, what happened that it made you guys >> fight like that? That's that's what I wish I knew. Um, we were just kind of talking. She got up. She sat on my side of the bed. >> Then she I must have said something that she didn't like. And then it was just a a backhand. And I was like, "What the fuck?" >> Back hand. What do you mean? Like she hit you or >> Yeah. >> Okay. How How exactly did she hit you? Oh, she's slapping. >> Okay. With the open hand, close hand back. >> No, she back. She back in. >> Okay. With her right hand. Left hand. >> Left. Yeah. >> With your left hand. Right hand. >> Okay. Can you uh turn me? >> Sorry. >> Okay. So, like that. >> Okay. Is she left-handed? >> No. >> Okay. Can you um take your hair away from your face and look up a little bit? >> Okay. So, after that happened, then what? That's kind of it. And we were just like, "Okay." I was like, "What the hell is going on?" Like, she's she's not she doesn't do this. Like, she's not that kind of person. And I just I was like, "Okay, what the hell is happening?" Like, "Stop." And I mean, it got to a point where she just kind of like, "I'm not I'm not coming at you." She She went like this to me and I was trying to like get her away from me, dodging her and Mhm. she I I I couldn't tell you what started it. I really I don't know. She just kind of went a little out of it. >> What were you guys arguing about what I think? >> Mhm. >> Was when the fact that we weren't sleeping in the same bed. >> Okay. >> Because that's what it started as she was like, "Well, Miguel, what I think is weird is that like you're sleeping in a different bed as me right now." >> Okay. So you went to a second bed and >> but she like she wanted to do like she wanted to go and like into all the pools and like after hours do all this like crazy things and I'm like wait >> where is this coming from? Like you don't we don't want to do this >> kind of. >> So based on that she wanted to sleep in the other bed. uh the fact that I didn't I didn't want to sleep in the same bed as her. So like me going into a different bed I think is what I don't know got her off. >> Mhm. >> But that's just so so you said that she backhanded you with her left hand. Um >> would would it help if we uh go to the room and you can kind of >> No, it was >> What side of your face is she? >> So she's sitting on the side. She Yeah. No, it was her right. She was sitting on the edge of the bed. >> So she was sitting next to you like this. >> Yes. >> So you guys are facing each other talking and she did that. >> Okay. And >> which I'm not like >> she she's not >> she's not a violent person. >> So that so that surprised you is fair to say. >> Yeah. >> And how did that go from there to her being on top on like like like grabbing you? >> I I don't know. I think it just like sparked something in her and she just like she kept like trying to come at me and I was like >> so I was trying to restrain her >> restrain her how >> like keep her hands away from my face and >> uh there was there was a point I mean she got on top of me. Mhm. >> But when she was on top of me what was she doing? Um, she kind of just had me pinned. >> I'm sorry. I had to What did you say? >> She kind of just had me pinned a little bit. >> Okay. Pined like with her hands or with her >> um >> arms or with her knees? >> With her with her knees. >> Okay. Uh, with her knees. And what was she doing with her hands then? She was she uh she was holding mine >> your hands. >> Okay. >> And then what happened? I know it's a little traumatic, but >> I got out of it and I was just >> I'm not going to I'm not going to hit her. Like >> she's my wife [ __ ] Lord. >> Mhm. So then you got from under her like you escaped basically the the thing and what happened after that? >> Um I she I guess I could you could say I she took a break. >> Okay. >> Um we were like okay for maybe five 10 seconds and then >> I don't know she just started She kept coming back at me and it was just like, oh, I don't know what to do with this. Like, I'm not from here. >> Mhm. >> I deal with this kind of stuff all the time, but not with somebody not with my wife. Mhm. So, do you have any injuries on your >> um that that's from what exactly? >> Uh I I don't know. Honestly, I didn't notice it until um until you guys pointed it out. Okay, >> you look up at me. Okay. Um, did you guys get your ID? Any political? >> Okay. Um, couple questions for you. Um, you guys are married, correct? >> Yes. >> How many years? >> Uh, five. And uh this is your first straight down here. >> Mine. Okay. Um can you tell me how her earring got ripped off? I I so I think um when we were at the dress I was trying to stop her from explaining on me and I think my ring got caught in her earring >> and I think it like I I remember feeling something tugging on >> So what she's saying is your earring got cold in and your your ring got cold in her earring. I think that's what happened. >> Okay. >> But you don't know at what point like what was actually physically happening between the two of you. Okay. >> Um do you remember uh biting her at any point? >> Um can we go in the room for one second? I want to see um >> you said that um where at some point you went to a separate place. >> Yeah. Take it. You said you were on this phone. >> Why is your appointment? I was in the bathroom and she was kind of I I locked myself in the bathroom for a little bit and um she was just kind of rushing throwing stuff around. I'm assuming that's what happened. Um, I found a couple of my other That's the bag that I brought out tonight and I found a bunch of things that I my cards, my cash on the door. Is this yours? She wants Um, I got more out here. >> What's that? >> Got more blood out here. Can I see your hand? Yeah, it makes sense. She was just bleeding pretty good from the ear. I don't know if that's probably >> what happened. >> I I don't know. >> Okay. Um, I'm going to call um Ras for one second cuz I have one question for G. >> Okay. >> She's going to call homes. >> Huh? >> She's going to call homes. >> You can come out here, man. >> She's okay. >> Stand back out on the porch. One second. What did I say? >> Not at all. You still in the steps? >> It's okay. Try to take some deep breaths. Come here. >> [crying] >> It's okay. Oh, I don't know. So, where is she >> currently? Probably still in the lobby. I don't know. You know, I've been here with you the whole time. Um, she's with the other gentleman that walked over here with me, Officer Holmes. He's over with her now. I'm assuming she's still in the lobby. But once um officer Bernitova concludes her conversation with uh our sergeant, we'll go from there. Okay. We don't like leaving people by themselves, especially >> Yeah. No. >> You know, they somebody probably would have you ever seen the your >> the gauges thing happened before? You know, like a ripped out, like an earring ripped out. >> Yeah. >> I mean, in my personal life, yeah, I've seen somebody have a their earring ripped out by a cat. >> Oh, >> she was wearing like small gold hoops and was petting her cat and her cat reached up to like knead or something, I guess, >> and grabbed her ear and her earring and yanked it out. But I don't know like the earring your wife had on, you know. >> Okay, just hold on tight. my out. >> What do you all do back home? Um, I'm an auctioneer and uh a barback and a bouncer. >> She's a general manager of the steakhouse. >> Steakhouse. >> Um, the girl room apartment. I don't know if you >> What's the name of >> the grill room? >> The grill I've heard. >> She is the GM. Oh, wow. >> What do you auction like from homes and stuff from people? >> Just about everything. >> I'm uh I'm more of the equipment end of it, >> right? >> Um my uncle is the real estate, so he takes care of that. And then >> we do uh my dad family business. >> Yes. my dad and I um we do a lot of the equipment. Um just about all of it. Um it's anything from estates, liquidations, a bankruptcy. >> I guess I could be anybody that >> Oh yeah, absolutely. A lot of people wait until the summer to do it. >> It's not winter. It's >> I was going to say, yeah, we wait for the winter to come to do stuff cuz it's nice and cool. I can see it up here. Do you have a Do you have a brother? >> Not much. >> Oh, um my uh >> Yeah. So, I call my brother. He's um my parents took him in when I was a kid. Oh, okay. Uh his mom was a piece of [ __ ] and just >> they were family to you all or your mom and dad just took them in. >> They were >> um she abandoned him and >> Oh, really? >> Yeah. >> That's kind of your parents to do. >> Left him for drugs. And >> Oh, wow. >> Yeah. So, he's been family of ours since I was five. >> How old is he now? Uh 34. >> Pretty good. >> Yeah. >> So it's only you and him. >> No, I uh I have an older sister. >> But um they uh they were friends. They were >> they were >> a while back. >> Kind of going downhill. >> Yep. And I told both of them. Both my family and I will never choose between the two of you. So don't ever ask me to. >> You uh you're right in that family. especially that long being with him and the circumstances of being. >> Yeah. You all live in the city or outside? >> In Portland? Uh >> not like downtown like Old Port, >> right? >> Um it's we're we're definitely outside of it. >> I don't think it's pretty busy. >> It can be. But four minutes from my day job, 7 minutes from my night job. So >> yeah, you can't complain about that. >> Nope. >> Can't complain about how cold it is up there right now, though. I was talking to my mom earlier today and she uh they have a they have a camp up uh Sugarloaf Fountain. >> She said it was 18° today and it wasn't bad. I said it wasn't bad. What do you mean? >> It was terrible. Yeah, I got down to like 52 last week here and then with the wind chill said it felt like 40 >> and that was brutal. Us Islanders. >> I just set up an auction in -2° weather. >> -2. Holy [ __ ] >> But layers and layers. >> Yeah. Oh, stop. Key West Police. She's coming to the door now. She was sitting on the bed ignoring us. not going to ask. There you go. >> How you doing? You want to step over here for me? >> Sure. >> Hi. >> Hi. >> The key. >> I'm sorry. No. Uh, it's in the room. >> You have a chair right here that you can use. Okay. Perfect. >> What happened? >> Deep breath. >> I I'm sorry. Um >> he's sorry. >> No, I don't. I I honestly I don't even know. >> Do you have any ID on you real fast? Um >> in the room. I do. Let's >> go and grab that real quick. Nobody else in here, right? >> No. Perfect. Sure. Go ahead. >> Go ahead. >> Come on. Pull 90 to go to two. Come to pole 90. Can I get a 1027 1029 from a main driver's license by number? >> First of all, >> it's going to be four. >> You've been out for a while. >> How long for a while? few hours or >> um >> like out on the town or >> Yeah, like downtown Key West. Um I would say at least since like 5:30. Not a whole lot of drinks, but we got back here literally just going to bed and she kind of just got angry and mad about I don't know what. We were sleeping in a different bed. That's I I'm assuming that's what triggered her. Um, and then it just she started talking like nonsense and being like aggressive and I was like, "Can we just do you have to do this right now?" And she came at me and I tried to stop her. What do you mean? He came after >> like like lunged >> punch you to grab you to >> choke you. >> Did she choke you? >> No. What? >> Be honest. >> Uh, no. >> I mean, we see that she's got blood on her ear and stuff, so we need to know the other side of what happened. >> Yeah. No. Um, she just did this. And >> where were you standing? >> In front of her. No, like were you guys in front of your bed? The bed? >> On the bed? >> In front of the bathroom? >> The bed on the furthest close to the balcony door. >> And um then it just I mean >> can I ask you a question? >> Yeah. >> What happened to your room? >> Uh I would think >> Can I see your >> Sure. Anything hurt? Do you need any medical attention? >> Uh, no. >> Can I see your neck? Yeah, you got some scratches here. >> Okay. Good. So, go ahead. >> So, let's do this to make it a little easier maybe for you to remember. Okay. So, what time do you think you got back to the hotel? >> I mean, this is it must have been maybe a little over an hour ago. >> Okay. So then you guys walked in and started getting un ready to go to bed. >> In bed. >> Were you guys talking back and forth or were you like where did you go to sleep or >> No, we I mean >> it was maybe like 30 seconds to a minute and thanks so much. This is one of the parties inv sleeping in a different bed and I was like, "Oh god." Like, >> so was there an argument like out? >> No. >> Okay. >> So that she So you guys came home to you just happened to be a different about it. >> She was acting a little irrational. She wouldn't do stuff like she just I I She just wasn't acting like herself. What do you mean by >> she wanted to go like she wanted she wanted to go to the pools and after they were closed and like we're we're not rule breakers. We don't like we don't do that kind of stuff and she's like I'm not comfortable with it and it's just >> So after she lunged at you what happened next? Um, I mean, I stopped her and I I pinned her to the bed and then I was like, "Stop." Like, "Why is this happening? Like, can we can we leave it at this?" Like, please. Like, then >> So, how did the earring get torn out of her ear? Um, >> I was trying to stop her from hitting me and my ring. I think that's kind of what it's like. That's what it felt like. It felt like it caught in her earring. >> Okay. So >> then I I I didn't >> So she was Were you Was she hitting you or did she have on you? >> No, she was she was trying to >> You had your hands up or like want to hurt her or >> No, I was she like she kept swimming just was blocking her like trying to not get punched in the face. How long are you guys in town? >> Uh, we just got here. Um, this will be our second night. Okay. And when are you supposed to leave? >> Uh, Wednesday. >> You guys are married? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Look up. neck side of the face. >> Other side or more just going to like she maybe choices. >> Okay. >> Do you want rescues from looking here? >> No. >> We always ask. Um, is she is she okay talking to >> you said you have a phone on you, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I'm sorry. And um you guys have my ID in her. >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> Yes. >> Yeah, we're good. >> Oh, >> yes. >> Uh what's going to happen to the stuff? >> Well, you guys are not checking out tomorrow. So, uh you're going to see the judge in the morning. They'll probably let you go um with some sort of a either a court date or whatever the judge whatever decision judge makes and then you'll guys be able to come back here. I don't know if there's going to be some sort of a no contact order, then you might have to figure out which one of you will be coming back and the other one might have to stay away. But I I can speak to that cuz I don't know what happens at the first appearance. But that's why we're just making sure the room is good. It's going to be secure. here. >> Yeah, you can put this back in or >> Thank you. >> I secured the rear door. >> Everything's secured. >> Everything's secure. >> Thanks. Come on, 70. Can I get a case number? Copy. Thank you. I'm going to do that. Um, I'm thinking the other one, you know, the other one's going to have to go to the hospital because of that pain. >> I think I'm fine. I just like >> Okay. >> You know, keep her up and >> I'm going to grab it. Okay. >> Can you tell me what happened? Well, >> well, we're like talking to my wife and obviously like you know k like a little bit too much to drink >> and we got >> I'm sorry to interrupt. Is she in the room still? >> I think so. >> Is she sleeping or she's she's awake? >> I have no idea. I came here because after >> What does she look like? >> She's born like >> Emmy. >> Emmy, what is she wearing? >> At the moment, I'm not sure because like she changed when she went to bed. So, she had like a great turn. Uh, but I don't want like anything like bad to happen to her. >> We're just going to make sure that she's okay, too. Okay. They're going to go check on her. >> No, I understand. I'm just saying like, you know, like we were like in the room and we're like talking, okay, and >> we had like a good conversation and everything. And then again after a little bit too much of a drink, we start like talking and then we got into argument and then she like ripped my earring off and I was like hey listen this is my from my mom's >> and it's sentimental and she's like [ __ ] I'm like don't do this. >> Did she go straight after the earring or was that like a slap and that got caught in or >> she did not go for the earring. It was like, you know, like, hey, you know, like I'm [ __ ] pissed off. >> So, she went like this and then like she kind of she would not like go for this, but like it was right there. And like after all this happened, she didn't care obviously, you know, like she's nowhere to be found. Like if I was the one, like I'll be like, "Hey, you know, I didn't care about this. Like, let me see what's going on. Like, you're bleeding." Like, you know, I don't even know what's going on right now. Like the lady here was very nice. Went to the bathroom. She's like, "Oh, look. It's like a lot of blood. Like, you have to take care of it." I'm like, "Oh, [ __ ] >> It is a lot." >> So, after that happened, after she she ripped the earring, what what did you do? What did she do? >> Nothing. I came here. >> You You ran out of the room. >> I said, "Listen, like I don't want to be near you." And she's like, "Yeah, get the [ __ ] out. Like, >> go somewhere else." I'm like, "Where am I supposed to go? Like, this is our room, you know?" >> Okay. And I came here and I said, "Hey, you know, can I get a different room just so we like separate >> or can I get like assistance? I don't want like she to be arrested. I just like if she's going to be arrested like I'm going to go with her but she's my wife. Like I want to be with her but like this hurts and I should not like get this, you know? I don't deserve that because >> How long have you guys been married?" >> 5 years. >> But we know each other for nine. >> Okay. How uh where are we visiting from? >> Maine. >> Maine. >> Bordon Maine. Yeah. >> Okay. You don't have your ID with you, do you? >> No, it's in the room. >> What's your first name? >> Yana. Y O A N A. >> Y O A N A N. >> Y O A N A >> N A N. >> N A. Sorry. N. >> Sorry. Uh. Do you have a middle name? >> Uh, it's K. >> It's late. Can I can I >> Yeah, of course. Thank you. Kiri Bolo. Oh, a Kir. >> Okay. So, that's your last name. >> No, that's my middle name. Last name. >> Kiri Volo. >> Is this a? >> Yeah. >> Okay. And last name? V A S I L E V A hyphenated Kenan K E uh Okay, let me see. K E E That's two E K E N A N. Okay. And what's your birthday? >> 11:22. Uh >> 22. >> I'm sorry. 22 >> 95 >> 95 I uh ask you what's that? >> Oh, she bit me here. >> How did that happen? And when >> when we were like talking and like fighting. >> Okay, so now we're going from she ripped your earring off and you walked out into you guys fighting. So, just tell me exactly how it went down. >> Were there any weapons in the in the room? >> No, no weapons. >> Okay. You guys don't have guns or knives? Okay. >> No. No. We came from back from the bars and like we were in the room and we're like talking >> and I went to bed and there are two beds and I was like, "Oh, you want to come to the bed?" And she's like, "Yeah, yeah." So, I went to the bed and then she went to the other bed. I was like, "What are you doing?" Like, "Why don't you like go to the same bed? We're like [ __ ] married, you know?" Mhm. Um, and so we start like, you know, talking and then I don't even remember like what you said like first and I was like, "Oh, okay. I guess you just like go to that bed and then I'll stay here and then we'll see each other in the morning." >> He's like, "What do you mean? Why are you doing this?" I'm like, "Doing what? Like you're going to go in this bed and I'll go in this bed." Like whatever. >> And she's like, "I don't understand. Like you always do this on vacation." I'm like, "Doing what?" like, you know, like whatever. If you don't want to like stay with me in the bed, it's okay. >> Mhm. >> Whatever. And then we just like back and forth, back and forth, like things from before, you know, like nothing that just happened like 5 minutes ago. >> And we start like arguing >> about things in the past. >> Okay. >> And I was like, "Listen, like just get off like, you know, cuz she came like to me >> and I said, listen, like just get off me." And then I pushed her, which again I did push her, you know, I wasn't like just like staying away like like this. And then she bit me and I was like, "Why are you doing this?" Like just get off me. And of course, I pushed her away. >> Was she trying to like make up when she came like close? >> Nothing like you know sexual like making up or like anything. >> Okay. She was just getting in your face is what you're saying, >> right? Like you know like hey don't come to me and she's like don't touch me. I was like, "Don't touch me." So, we're like, you know, both in the same way. >> Mhm. >> But, you know, everything escalated in the middle. So, like, you know, this I don't think it happened like on purpose. That's why, you know, I don't want to like push anything on her, but like why would this even like happen? Like, why do we have to like go to the purpose like hey, I have to do this to you and you have to like do anything to me. M so like you know a very backstory is like I don't like her brother so I said hey go get your brother you know he can like pick you up he's from Maine so he's in Maine obviously so I was like yeah go get your brother to [ __ ] pick you up and she's like why would you even [ __ ] say that? I'm like because if you want your [ __ ] brother right now then [ __ ] go get him. And I keep I think like this what escalated like everything. It was like Yeah. So I think you know again she didn't mean to do this but like when she did this >> Mhm. >> is when that happened and I got very like pissed off because it was my mom's earring. >> Mhm. >> And I was like what? So I took off and I came here. >> Where is uh do you know where the earring is? >> It's in the room. >> Okay. So >> like I believe it's like on the second bed on the right side. >> Okay. So just so I understand uh and I'm not not like filling the blanks. When you guys got into a verbal argument, you you started off like each one of you in a separate bed like you were talking from two beds like one to one to another and then she got up and approached you on the bed that you were on. And uh so you pushed her to get you get her off of you and at that point she beat you in in the arm. >> Yeah. >> Is that what you're saying? >> So I pushed her. >> Okay. >> And then we start like kind of like not fighting but you know like kind of like pushing each other on and off on and off. >> Mhm. >> And then >> was she was she on top of you at that point or were you guys like sitting on the bed? I'm just trying to, you know, understand that >> honestly like it it is at some point we were like I was on top of her, she was on top of me. Like it depends like where we were. So >> So you guys were full on fighting like full on like tussling. >> Well, going back and forth like not like fighting but like pushing each other on and off. >> Okay. >> Um, >> did you cause any injuries to her? Just so I know when I go talk to her like what to expect. >> Well, I pushed her of course. So, like I'm not going to say no because like I did push her. I just rip her [ __ ] ear off. >> Is she going to have any bites, scratches, bruises, anything like that? >> Not that you can expect, but like I might like, you know, like just rub her like this. So, like she might have like a bruise, but like again like, you know, bite her ear off or like, >> you know, her. Can you put your uh hands in front of you >> and flip them, please? >> What is it? >> Flip them. >> Oh, sorry. >> Is this from the you touching your ear? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Can you flip them back? What about that? Do you know? I think this is like a I'm not sure. Mhm. Maybe we can clear and like see if it is scratch. >> Mhm. >> Cuz this is definitely I touched my ear. >> Yeah, >> because the way here told me that was like >> Yeah. bleeding. >> No, it it it it stopped bleeding. But that you should get that checked on for sure cuz that might need a stitch or two. >> Um >> Yeah. >> Yeah. [snorts] You got a slight sword came out. >> Um any any any other injuries that you're aware of like um that we can see? >> No, I didn't. Anything hurts? >> No, just this not in here. >> Okay. So, >> I used to play with this. >> So, all all of this tussling and all of this uh uh happened on one bed where you were on. >> Okay. All right. Um and then again, I told like her I was like I don't want to get her arrested. Like if she's going like I'll go with her, but like you know it just >> Yeah. No, of course. No, you did the right thing. >> You get like >> Is is this how it is on your uh ID like with the hyphen? Okay. >> Seven is switching to channel two. >> I think you have the paper with my ID. >> You don't like you know what? It's in the room. >> It is in the room like Okay. Yeah. And then if we can switch >> 70 on two. >> Did you say 25? Ma'am, 25 >> So you can't Can you only go left or right? >> Can I get a 10 27 1029 out of Maine by name and date of birth? First name out of Maine. When did you guys um come to Key West? >> Last night. >> Last night. How long are you supposed to stay? >> The Wednesday. >> Okay. Do you have uh any children? No. Okay. any um history of violence between you guys? No, it's the first time 70. >> If I can get my phone, I have a work in >> coffee. Thank you. Switching back. >> I'm sorry. You were saying >> if I can get my phone from the room. I have a friend who is in Florida. Maybe he can help >> in Florida. Where? >> Miami. >> Okay, that's not far. But he knows like the DA key. >> Mhm. >> They work together which I know that works. But [clears throat] do you want to have a seat? Are you good? You want to sit down? >> Okay. Do you want a water? >> I'm okay. Thank you. >> Did you guys uh fly here or drive? >> We flew from uh Boston to Atlanta in Atlanta here. >> Okay. Do you have a rental car or just >> We do have a rental home. Um we parked it here. >> Mhm. And we were supposed to go around the keys tomorrow. >> Okay. You planned like a >> Cuz I've been on the Key West like many times, but she never been around. So I was like, "Hey, >> you know, we can like, you know, drive around like see I can show you things around." >> Mhm. >> So we park the car here. >> Yeah. >> And then we're supposed to like leave tomorrow. Um, if you don't want rescue to come here, uh, and check you out, then, um, I would suggest that you go to the emergency room. There is a 24/7 emergency room. Uh, when you get out of Key West and you take a left left on the college road, it's basically like 3/4 of the way on the right side. Um it's like maybe two miles from here and um I would definitely have that checked out because you know that's yeah that's going to need stitches I think or at least some sort of patching up because you don't want it to heal weird. >> So you believe that that was an accident, right? Like that she was she wasn't trying to do that like her finger got >> she wasn't like what was she doing? They just like sucks. >> But are they checking with her right now? >> Yeah, they're talking to her and uh I'm going to go speak with her as well. I just don't want to leave you here alone. Uh that's kind of like what we do. We uh interview people separately and then we switch to see, you know, what kind of stories we can get and take it from there. Um this doesn't hurt cuz it's swelling up pretty good. That bite I think. But it is. >> Yeah, it hurts a lot. But I guess >> if you bite somebody like that, you know. >> Yeah, that's >> I don't know. Then like >> you seem like you were not even aware of that one. Like you didn't even realize that >> this obviously. >> So like obviously like this takes the pain of that. >> Yeah. >> But if you you know go back to the room by any chance if you get my phone so I can like you know call some people. >> Oh yeah. We'll get your phone. Don't worry about it. be yeah >> I don't know exactly where it's in the room at the moment but >> yeah if I can just like get my shoes >> and the foam >> and then you know I'll >> well for now we would obviously prefer you guys stay separated you know and then we'll we'll figure it out what to do I'm just going to wash my hands so they're not like you know bloody if That's okay. >> Yeah, sure. Mhm. Can I clear this? >> Uh, yeah. I mean, of course. Do you need more paper towels? >> Are you okay? >> Yeah. If you want to see how much of a mud you can take off so you can see that one better. Can we switch? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Going off. back. Put your head and I'll get you the shoes. Anything else? >> No, just the phone and the shoes. Whatever the shoes like I have like different shoes. So, yeah. Thank you. >> [snorts] [panting] [snorts] [snorts] >> I have a quick question. I have a quick question. I have a quick question. Can somebody bail me bail me out? >> So, you can either bail yourself out if you have a card. They may not even give you bond. You will be able to make a phone call. From there, once the reports are done and all that kind of stuff, you'll see a judge in the morning, which is going to be a couple hours, and then they'll either give you pre-trial release, set a bond for you, they have bail bonds, phone numbers there. There's a million different ways, but you'll probably end up getting released. I don't know depending on which judge you get, what your history is like. It'll all depends on but yes, you will absolutely be able to bond out is the answer. >> Like get out tonight or >> it's it won't be tonight. There's certain charges that they do, but because it's 3:30, by the time you're done being booked in, it may be 5:30 and then the judge ends up coming in. Um, so you'll pro, to be honest with you, in my experience, you probably won't leave the jail till 1 or 2 o'clock in the afternoon. >> So that means like both of us won't live like until the same. both going. >> Yeah, but like both of us won't leave until the same time. Probably. >> You probably will. You'll see the judge around the same time. >> Yeah, >> I would suggest you guys either figure it out or get separate rooms or not revisit this situation. >> So, would I be able to like call somebody from my phone or No, >> no. What they do is they allow you to go through your phone and pull a phone number and use the jail phone. You can't text anybody or call anybody from your phone. You're able to use the jail phone with numbers you take out of your >> [snorts] >> Are they like taking her out of the room or Oh. How many times can I call somebody on their phone? >> On their phone? >> Yeah. >> You mean how many different people or how many times can you call on the phone? >> How many times like I can call somebody? Cuz it's like super early. So I don't know if >> you're not going to be Here's what I'm going to tell you. You'll be able to call the jail. The jail is great as treats you like you treat them. Number one, >> I'll treat them well. It's just like another person. >> I'm telling you. So, they're not a >> It's not like you see on TV. >> Okay. >> Um, but I would wait to make a phone call. And you can ask them this exact question. They'll be able to tell you better. Um, but I would wait to make a phone call till after you see the judge. >> What time the judge will be there? >> Say again. >> What time the judge will be available. >> You see the judge around 9:00. I don't I don't know exactly what time they'll be in. >> And again, they're going to have a lot more information for you in the jail. I'm back while >> you're going to come out. We're going to go on Michael. Hold on one second. >> There you go. She didn't even give like the real I grabbed those. >> Oh, we're going to come this way. Do you have anything on you? Anything sharp? Anything? Anything you'd like to >> think? are kind of awkward when I got it. I gave you ID. >> [snorts] >> Come on. I'll be 51 adult female on board. Heat. Heat.
