Is the car on? >> It was on, but >> what do you mean it was on? >> Because I got the automatic start and it just shut off, honestly. >> Okay. Do you have your ID on you? >> Are the kids okay? >> No. We just honestly I just had to say goodbye to my grandpa. He's going to I just wanted to run in really quick. I'm not trying to make excuses. They're fine. This was not an easy morning for me. >> Right. But you couldn't bring your kids in. >> I guess I chose not to. I'm not I'm not making excuses. I'm just like I just wanted to just do this really quick. >> Right. But you have children and it's a responsibility. You're supposed to bring them in. Is there somebody that pick up your children? >> Yeah. No, I'm not joking around about this. You left two infant children in a car. So, I'm going to find out if we're just going to give you a notice to appear to go to court or if I have to actually physically take you in. We will be notifying DCFS. So, they're going to be stopping by your house. But this is not just a oopsie. So, sit in your car and wait for me. You might want to find if there's somebody to pick up your children. I mean, if you want, you could have somebody pick your kids up. You could leave your car here. I can cuff you and arrest you. Or you could just follow us to the PD.
