Five deputies confronted a hunter after an unverified complaint blocking him from retrieving his duck. Though they admitted he'd done nothing wrong, they still demanded ID they had no authority to require. When he refused, they escalated, detaining him and issuing a bogus failure to ID ticket, exposing clear abuse of power. >> Just cuz somebody complains don't mean that I'm guilty of a charge.
